Relevant socio-psychological problem of the emergence of loneliness in modern adolescents has been considered. Living conditions at this moment are characterized by a high level of development of information technologies. As a result, the formation of new thinking, new behavioral strategies, which affect the process of socialization of the individual. It has been noted, that in connection with the intensive digitalization of society, prerequisites arise for the social isolation of an individual subject, the formation of loneliness. This is most evident in the younger generation, as it is more sensitive to social changes. For exploring this phenomenon, an empirical study was conducted of the attitude of adolescents to loneliness and its interrelation with communicative abilities. Psychodiagnostic techniques have been used as research methods: the UCLA solitude scale by D. Russell, L. Peplo, M. Ferguson and the CBS questionnaire. For a quantitative analysis of the obtained data, the Spearman rank correlation coefficient has been used. An analysis of the results allowed us to establish the presence of loneliness in modern adolescents, which is associated with a decrease in their communicative abilities. The results can be used in the practical activities of social psychologists, teachers and educators.

Introduction. The article discusses ambiguous attitudes of information society citizens to the use of digital technologies in education. The aim of the research is to reveal and describe the deterministic nature of society and education, to explain the reasons for the ambiguous attitudes towards the use of digital technologies in education, and to analyze and summarize their advantages and capabilities to improve academic outcomes in the context of distance learning. Materials and Methods. By adopting personality-centered, activity-based and environmental approaches, the study considers the individual as a subject of learning and teaching, who can freely choose modes and means of learning, as well as communicative strategies within learning environments. Research methods include analysis of scholarly literature, synthesis of findings, and generalization. Empirical data were collected via a questionnaire and analyzed using statistical data processing methods. The sample consisted of students and teachers. Results. The literature review has been used to characterize and describe the information society in order to reveal its contradictory nature and multi-vector impact on the individual in the educational environment. Changes in the psycho-biological mechanisms of learners belonging to Generation Z are outlined and summarized. The authors emphasize the need for adjusting teaching methods to the peculiarities of modern learners. The study indicates that learners’ attitudes towards digital technologies are determined by their ICT competence. The recommendations on the improvement of instruction in a virtual learning environment are presented. Conclusions. The information society has predetermined the inevitability of the introduction and use of information technologies in the education, which , on the one hand, increases learners’ educational and research capabilities, and, on the other hand, requires a high level of ICT competence as well as major expenditures on such changes. The identified contradictions have led to restrained attitudes to distance (online) learning.

Fundamental social changes in any society are impossible without the formation of a high level of social activity of the individual in particular and society as a whole. In the context of this important role plays the study of the correlation of will and need as an important precondition of social activity. Actually, it is the will as a creative impulse to action not only the basis of awareness of needs, but also the ascending position of the daily choice of man. On the basis of awareness and focus on the choice of the direction of activity in the individual and public consciousness formed a holistic image of the purpose of the practical transformation of the world of nature and the world of culture. In the act of will, the subject legitimizes and authorizes the subjective desire, which is constituted in this process as objectively directed meta activity.

The article deals with the increasing demands on the professional actions of police officers and the importance of conducting training forms of psychological work in the mainstream of an integrative transmitting model of psychological assistance. The results of research of individual psychological traits and strategies for overcoming stress among participants in self-development trainings are presented. The study involved 108 people. According to the results of the meditation-visualization "Inner Animal" the participants were divided into three groups (experimental and two control). In order to find common in the individual-personality features, 16-factor personal questionnaire by R. Cattell (16 PF (A)) was used. Due to the fact that the archetypal image represents an actual psychological problem, for the overcoming of which the person does not have enough conscious ways, the respondents studied the features of the coping behavior using the SACS questionnaire - "Strategies to overcome the stressful situation", which reveals features of behavioral strategies and patterns of overcoming behavior. To compare the samples and determine the significant differences in scores, the t-test of the Student was used. For each factor and coping strategies, the experimental group and control groups were compared. During the training sessions on personal self-development using the meditation-visualization "The Inner Animal" its diagnostic capabilities were revealed.

This article explores the development of the Homeless Management Information Systems program by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Launched in 2001, the program mandates data collection by homeless social service agencies receiving federal funds. The program is examined in terms of broader responses to the "electronic turn" in social work. The generative capacities of database management systems are understood as producing surveillance at a register other than the individual subject often presumed in political theories of social control as well as surveillance studies of information technologies. The article argues that we must move toward an understanding of homeless management as a biopolitical enterprise, rather than only a disciplinary one. A discussion of how the HMIS program produces a homeless population as an object of knowledge and plane of intervention provides an understanding of the significance of HMIS for homelessness in the U.S. as well as for surveillance studies more broadly.

When using information technologies, it is necessary to strive for the realization of all the potentials of the individual - cognitive, moral, creative, communicative and aesthetic. Recently, teachers create and implement author's pedagogical software tools that reflect a certain subject area, to some extent implement the technology of its study, and provide conditions for the implementation of various types of educational activities. In order for these potentials to be realized at a sufficiently high level, it is necessary to have pedagogical competence in the field of information and educational technologies.

Digital change and transformation, affecting the economic and social context, paved the way for the emergence of many new phenomena and behavior patterns. One of these phenomena is digital mobbing, which is a serious type of digital bullying that harms the individual and forms the dark side of digitalization. In this chapter, the authors explained the phenomenon of digital mobbing, its types, and effects on individuals first. Then they conducted a field research to reveal employees' level of exposure to digital mobbing, its types, level, and suggestions for its prevention via snowball sampling method in Istanbul and Kocaeli with 578 white-collar employees in the healthcare, information technologies, security, and banking sectors through the Turkish adaptation of the “cyber-mobbing” scale developed in Germany. According to the results, they found that the vast majority of employees are exposed to high level and various forms of digital mobbing and they couldn't find authorities to apply for a solution other than legal remedies; so they also suggested for its prevention at last.

The paper discusses the problem of the sustainable functioning of the educational system in the context of the intensive development of information technologies, which is urgent in Russia and, practically, in other countries throughout the world. It has become especially acute in recent years in connection with the forced transition to a large-scale organization of distance learning. Based on the analysis of the cultural and historical process in Russia, the most important traditions and features of Russian education are identified, which ensured its sustainable development and world recognition of a high level of quality. The radical economic and social changes at the end of the twentieth century, their consequences and impact on education are considered. The authors point to a number of factors that play a significant role in the development of the education system, determining its flexibility and sustainability. Special attention is paid to modern trends in the development and use of information technologies in education in the context of digitalization of the economy, including distance learning, and the open education system. New objective possibilities are compared that should contribute to the formation of an innovative educational environment of the university, intellectualization of the educational process, and problematic aspects that require detailed study. The authors classify these problems. The directions of their solution are outlined.

BACKGROUND: This paper deals with territorial distribution of the alcohol and drug addictions mortality at a level of the districts of the Slovak Republic. AIM: The aim of the paper is to explore the relations within the administrative territorial division of the Slovak Republic, that is, between the individual districts and hence, to reveal possibly hidden relation in alcohol and drug mortality. METHODS: The analysis is divided and executed into the two fragments – one belongs to the female sex, the other one belongs to the male sex. The standardised mortality rate is computed according to a sequence of the mathematical relations. The Euclidean distance is employed to compute the similarity within each pair of a whole data set. The cluster analysis examines is performed. The clusters are created by means of the mutual distances of the districts. The data is collected from the database of the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic for all the districts of the Slovak Republic. The covered time span begins in the year 1996 and ends in the year 2015. RESULTS: The most substantial point is that the Slovak Republic possesses the regional disparities in a field of mortality expressed by the standardised mortality rate computed particularly for the diagnoses assigned to the alcohol and drug addictions at a considerably high level. However, the female sex and the male sex have the different outcome. The Bratislava III District keeps absolutely the most extreme position. It forms an own cluster for the both sexes too. The Topoľčany District bears a similar extreme position from a point of view of the male sex. All the Bratislava districts keep their mutual notable dissimilarity. Contrariwise, evaluation of a development of the regional disparities among the districts looks like notably heterogeneously. CONCLUSIONS: There are considerable regional discrepancies throughout the districts of the Slovak Republic. Hence, it is necessary to create a common platform how to proceed with the solution of this issue.

The negative and persistent impact of the human factor on the statistics of aviation accidents and serious incidents makes proactive studies of the attitude of “front line” aviation operators (air traffic controllers, flight crewmembers) to dangerous actions or professional conditions as a key component of the current paradigm of ICAO safety concept. This “attitude” is determined through the indicators of the influence of the human factor on decision-making, which also include the systems of preferences of air traffic controllers on the indicators and characteristics of professional activity, illustrating both the individual perception of potential risks and dangers, and the peculiarities of generalized group thinking that have developed in a particular society. Preference systems are an ordered (ranked) series of n = 21 errors: from the most dangerous to the least dangerous and characterize only the danger preference of one error over another. The degree of this preference is determined only by the difference in the ranks of the errors and does not answer the question of how much time one error is more dangerous in relation to another. The differential method for identifying the comparative danger of errors, as well as the multistep technology for identifying and filtering out marginal opinions were applied. From the initial sample of m = 37 professional air traffic controllers, two subgroups mB=20 and mG=7 people were identified with statisti-cally significant at a high level of significance within the group consistency of opinions a = 1%. Nonpara-metric optimization of the corresponding group preference systems resulted in Kemeny’s medians, in which the related (middle) ranks were missing. Based on these medians, weighted coefficients of error hazards were determined by the mathematical prioritization method. It is substantiated that with the ac-cepted accuracy of calculations, the results obtained at the second iteration of this method are more ac-ceptable. The values of the error hazard coefficients, together with their ranks established in the preference systems, allow a more complete quantitative and qualitative analysis of the attitude of both individual air traffic controllers and their professional groups to hazardous actions or conditions.
