In order to find common in the individual-personality features, 16-factor personal questionnaire by R. Cattell (16 PF (A)) was used. Due to the fact that the archetypal image represents an actual psychological problem, for the overcoming of which the person does not have enough conscious ways, the respondents studied the features of the coping behavior using the SACS questionnaire - "Strategies to overcome the stressful situation", which reveals features of behavioral strategies and patterns of overcoming behavior. To compare the samples and determine the significant differences in scores, the t-test of the Student was used. For each factor and coping strategies, the experimental group and control groups were compared. During the training sessions on personal self-development using the meditation-visualization "The Inner Animal" its diagnostic capabilities were revealed.

The article deals with the theoretical and methodological basis of the study of coping strategies in the student age. It is noted that the importance of coping behavior is to solve the following important tasks in stressful situations: to find the meaning of the situation, to confront the stressor, to maintain relations with those who could be a potential helper in solving the crisis, to maintain emotional balance, to maintain the image of self, social identity and self-belief. Emphasis is placed on the following coping behavior strategies: solving a problem, managing one’s emotions, avoiding a stressful situation. It is noted that the most responsive strategy is to solve the problem. The assumption is made that there is a relationship between the psychological characteristics of the personality structure and the person’s choice of a strategy for behavior in the stress. Such characteristics can be features of thinking (criticality and flexibility), organizational and communication skills, personal readiness to act in situations of uncertainty, readiness to resolve conflicts. It is argued that the choice of coping strategies and their implementation are filled with age-related psychological personality traits. Respectively, in the student-age determinants of coping behavior may be specific internal characteristics of the individual, which are important for the purposeful learning of students adaptive, effective coping. An empirical study of psychological determinants of coping strategies in a student environment is highlighted.

This article presents the results of a study of sociability of people with different levels of selfdevelopment. The problem of self-realization occupies an important place in the system of human sciences. Due to its relevance and significance in the search for an answer to the question of the disclosure of human potential, it is approached by representatives of various sciences. Self-realization as a psychological problem involves, above all, the study of the inner world of people with different levels of self-realization in the main spheres of life in relation to their individual and personal qualities, as well as the study of strategies to promote self-realization. The path to self-realization is a long and arduous process. Sociability is the means that can help a person on this path. Confirmation of the idea of the great importance of camaraderie for the development, self-development and self-realization of the individual can be found in various trends, theories and concepts of domestic and foreign psychological science. The sample consisted of 105 people - students of the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University and students of the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture. To diagnose the level of personality self-development S. B. Kuzikova's method "Dispositional characteristics of personality self-development" was used and O. P Sannikova's testquestionnaire "Formal-dynamic indicators of sociability" was used to study the peculiarities of the manifestation of sociability. Correlation analysis based on the primary results of each sample separately indicates the presence of a wide range of statistically significant relationships between most indicators of sociability and self-development. The next step, using the method of "aces" from the general sample of individuals were selected representatives with high and low levels of overall self-development. The analysis of the received profiles of sociability of persons with a high and low level of self-development testifies to differences on indicators of stability of communication, need for communication, expressiveness in communication. However, individuals in both groups are characterized by ease in unfamiliar situations, initiative in establishing contacts, making acquaintances, which often turn into friendly relations, the ability to engage in conversation with people on their own initiative and lead it in accordance with their own goals.

The problem of evolution of human personality’s resilience is revealed in this article. The author examines this problem in the context of the accessibility of personality’s raising in inter-subject interactions. The article presents the results of theoretical system analysis of scientific knowledge about the development of personality’s foundations of human viability. Proposed by the author integral model of formation of personality’s sanogenic potential discloses the psychological regularities of development of a person's ability to make decisions in favor of developing its resilience. The results of the study led to the conclusion that the effectiveness of psychological assistance to people in developing their viability depends on what model of interaction this assistance is provided. The study compared two models of inter-subject comunication: facilitation and expert. Based on the theoretical review, the author argues that just the process of interactions between communicators create developing or blocking effect on the development of the personality’s sanogenic potential. Personality’s growth through development of semantic contradictions is supported in facilitation communicative model. The opposite effect has an expert model of interaction, which provokes the rejection of person’s self-development. The expert interactional model blocks the process of person’s self-realization and self-identity because it is focused on promoting expert’s knowledge and does not support the activity of the individual to identify and resolve semantic contradictions. On the basis of the research the author comes to the conclusion that current domestic tendency to convert psychological assistants in to psychological education impedes the solution of problems of developing person’s resilience.

This article represents the results of a theoretical analysis of the problems of psychological resources of a personality. They are viewed and considered as individually-psychological traits and characteristics of a person, which provide her with successful acquirement and implementation of activities, state and experience of a psychological well-being. It is a systemic formation that includes physiological, personal, social and performing levels. The main and therefore basic function of psychological resources of the individual is to provide him with the opportunities through which he will be able to overcome a difficult life situation, sometimes even traumatic, and also to realize his or her life plans, to achieve own goal, thanks to which will originate self-development and acquisition of a certain level of a personal maturity. The question of resources is considered in psychological science as a means of subsistence, the capabilities of people and society, as physical and spiritual qualities of an individual and as well as a set of personal qualities that give a person the inner strength needed to overcome life crises. The level of conscious attitude of the individual to their capabilities, abilities, experience ensures the appropriate use of their own resources, by that meaning the ability of a person to consciously store, use, acquire, exchange and lose resources in the process of their lives. Through stable psychological resources, a person not only meets external conditions, but also creates such conditions under which his self-development and self-improvement take place. The study of psychological resources of the individual should be based on a systematic approach, according to which they should be understood as a system that is constantly replenished or devastated, so that the individual can overcome difficulties and function in full force. The interpretation of psychological resources as a system means that compensatory mechanisms can be included, thanks to which they are stored, exchanged and redistributed. Key words: psychological resources, personal resources, stress, overcoming of stress, coping strategies, personal maturity.

The article proves that the main form of overcoming stress is coping behavior, which is understood as a purposeful social and neurophysiologically determined behavior that allows a person to cope with stress in ways that meet the characteristics of the individual and the situation. Coping behavior is considered a synonym for stress-coping behavior, which is expressed in the use of coping strategies by the individual. Personal characteristics and situational factors determine the choice of coping behavior strategies. The article aims to resolve the contradictions of multimodal approaches to the problem in question in the post-Soviet countries and group theories that include not only external social but also neurophysiological factors. The article shows that the choice of coping strategies mostly depends on personal and neurophysiological factors. These include neurophysiological reflexive or instinctive and higher ones: adequate self-concept, positive self-esteem, personality anxiety, cognitive style, and energy resources, which include endurance and temperament characteristics, intelligence, creativity, and locus of personality control. Overcoming a stressful situation is impossible without cognitive "processing," which becomes available through reflection. The influence of reflection on the choice of coping strategy of the individual is that reflective individuals choose more adaptive and effective strategies. The international relevance of the article lies in discovering neuroscientific aspects of the problem in question in the post-Soviet countries, which will allow these countries to contribute to the global scientific interdisciplinary discourse.

The author's approach to the empirical study of the peculiarities of self-development of a person has been  considered. The criteria of self-development as a subject activity have been characterized. Its indicators have been  given.  The  psychological  resources  of  personal  self-development  have  been  singled  out:  the  need  for  self- development as its source and determinant; conditions that ensure its success; mechanisms as functional means and  conditions  for  its  implementation.  Their  essence  has  been  revealed.  The  need  for  self-development  has  been  determined by the actualization of the characteristics of self-development (self-activity, vital activity, development of  self-consciousness) and has been occurred when the content structure of the individual consciousness and the  transformation of semantic entities changed. Conditions of self-development has been defined by mature I of  personality, openness, tolerance to the new, the presence of a conscious goal of self-realization and active life  strategy. Reflection, self-regulation and feedback have been considered as mechanisms of self-development. The  methodical approaches and means of studying the peculiarities and factors of the development of the subject of self- development in adolescence in the process of professional training have been offered, and the results of their  integrated empirical research have been highlighted. Particular attention has been paid to the analysis of the level  of actualization of self-development resources among students, discovered with the author's diagnostic method  "DCPSD" (Dispositional Characteristic of Personality of Self-development). It has been proved that psychological  resources as a set of possibilities of development already exist in the psychological reality of a person. It has been  shown that the dominance of the level of self-development resources’ actualization of the individual (and their  combination) can be correlated with the dimensions of the individual psychological space, indicating the individual  peculiarity of the personal self-development organization. It has been noted that, at the same time, actualization,  strengthening and harmonization of all psychological resources of a person self-development, enrichment of its  relations with the environment and other people, and increasing spirituality is necessary for the implementation of  progressive conscious personal self-development. The relevance of the study of individual psychological characteristics of employees of criminal investigation departments in transport in the North-Western Federal district of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia (hereinafter referred to as the NWFD) in relation to indicators of professional deformation is due to the specific features of their official activities. Despite a significant amount of research on the phenomenon of professional deformity of police officers, there are few thoroughly developed and completed works on the prevention of professional deformities of police officers. The purpose of our research was to study the individual psychological characteristics of employees of criminal investigation departments in connection with the risk of professional deformation. The results of the empirical study were processed by correlation and factor analysis (49 parameters). The results of the initial analysis showed that the overall assessment of job satisfaction among employees of the studied departments is average with a downward trend. The results of the study on «professional burnout» revealed that a number of employees surveyed are close to emotional exhaustion. It is established that empathic abilities, social intelligence, and constructive coping strategies play an important role in the structure of individual psychological characteristics of police officers. Low ability of employees to learn behavior determines non-constructive strategies and models for coping with stressful situations, which leads to deformation of relationships with other people, i.e. to professional deformation. The obtained data can be used as the basis for the program of psychoprophylaxis of professional deformation of criminal investigation units in transport in the northwestern Federal district.
