The article presents the results of the "risk pyramids" analysis of commercial aviation for their adequacy to the current state of the aviation transport system of Russia. The necessity of annual updating of "risk pyramids" is shown, as the aviation transport system (ATS) of Russia is dynamic and the ATS state changes faster than the accident rate statistical indicators characterizing this state. The method of linear weighted moving average for the synthesis and annual correction of the "risk pyramids" parameters with an optimized averaging coefficient – 7 years is substantiated and proposed. The optimization of the averaging coefficient is performed by the criterion of the minimum mismatch between the averaged values of the "risk pyramids" parameters and the current (annual) values determined by the statistical data of an aviation events. The general and private "risk pyramids" of commercial aviation of Russia synthesized by results of the statistical factorial analysis of aviation events for 2009–2016 are presented. The synthesis of "risk pyramids" is made in accordance with the classification of aviation events in the civil aviation of Russia, separately by causative factors: "Human", "Aircraft", "Environment". The parameters of the "risk pyramids" reflect the conditional probability of an aviation event of great severity (for example, a catastrophe), if there were aviation events of less severity (for example, incidents).  The parameters of the presented pyramids are intended for inclusion into the algorithms of indirect estimation of probability of aviation accidents for any airline and any period of flight work (from a month or more).

This study aims to forecast air passenger and cargo demand of the Indian aviation industry using the autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) and Bayesian structural time series (BSTS) models. We utilized 10 years’ (2009–2018) air passenger and cargo data obtained from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA-India) website. The study assessed both ARIMA and BSTS models’ ability to incorporate uncertainty under dynamic settings. Findings inferred that, along with ARIMA, BSTS is also suitable for short-term forecasting of all four (international passenger, domestic passenger, international air cargo, and domestic air cargo) commercial aviation sectors. Recommendations and directions for further research in medium-term and long-term forecasting of the Indian airline industry were also summarized.

Purpose. The aim of the work is to consider the novelties of the legislative work, which provide for the concept and classification of criminal offenses in accordance with the current edition of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and the draft of the new Code developed by the working group and put up for public discussion. Point out the gaps in the current legislation and the need to revise individual rules of the project in this aspect. The methodology. The methodology includes a comprehensive analysis and generalization of the available scientific and theoretical material and the formulation of appropriate conclusions and recommendations. During the research, the following methods of scientific knowledge were used: terminological, logical-semantic, system-structural, logical-normative, comparative-historical. Results In the course of the study, it was determined that despite the fact that the amendments to the Criminal Code of Ukraine came into force in July of this year, their perfection, in terms of legal technology, raises many objections. On the basis of a comparative study, it was determined that the Draft Criminal Code of Ukraine needs further revision taking into account the opinions of experts in the process of public discussion. Originality. In the course of the study, it was established that the classification of criminal offenses proposed in the new edition of the Criminal Code of Ukraine does not stand up to criticism, since other elements of the classification appear in subsequent articles, which are not covered by the existing one. The draft Code, using a qualitatively new approach to this issue, retains the elements of the previous classification and has no practical significance in law enforcement. Practical significance. The results of the study can be used in law-making activities to improve the norms of the current Criminal Code, to classify criminal offenses, as well as to further improve the draft Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The submitted study addresses the topic of the current state of the opinion journalism and its genres in the Slovak periodical press. The author draws attention to the question of classification of the opinion journalism of a rational and emotional type from the genre categorization point of view and, simultaneously, reflects on its application in the present journalistic practice. This brings a certain rate of confrontation between the defined theoretical premises and their subsequent practical (non-)implementation. The main objective of the study is to clarify the presence of genres of analytical and literary opinion journalism stated by media theory in the environment of the Slovak periodicals. Presentation of the basic terminological axis and the related explication of journalism genres included in the opinion journalism constitute the secondary objectives of the paper. For the purposes of achieving the set objectives, the author uses methods of logical analysis of text in combination with discourse analysis. Similarly, she predicts the evident presence of the phenomenon of hybridization in the Slovak journalistic practice.

The purpose of this work was to investigate the detection of the pesticide residual (profenofos) in tomatoes by using visible/near-infrared spectroscopy. Therefore, the experiments were performed on 180 tomato samples with different percentages of profenofos pesticide (higher and lower values than the maximum residual limit (MRL)) as compared to the control (no pesticide). VIS/near infrared (NIR) spectral data from pesticide solution and non-pesticide tomato samples (used as control treatment) impregnated with different concentrations of pesticide in the range of 400 to 1050 nm were recorded by a spectrometer. For classification of tomatoes with pesticide content at lower and higher levels of MRL as healthy and unhealthy samples, we used different spectral pre-processing methods with partial least squares discriminant analysis (PLS-DA) models. The Smoothing Moving Average pre-processing method with the standard error of cross validation (SECV) = 4.2767 was selected as the best model for this study. In addition, in the calibration and prediction sets, the percentages of total correctly classified samples were 90 and 91.66%, respectively. Therefore, it can be concluded that reflective spectroscopy (VIS/NIR) can be used as a non-destructive, low-cost, and rapid technique to control the health of tomatoes impregnated with profenofos pesticide.

As a functional food, honey is a food product that is exposed to the risk of food fraud. To mitigate this, the establishment of an authentication system for honey is very important in order to protect both producers and consumers from possible economic losses. This research presents a simple analytical method for the authentication and classification of Indonesian honeys according to their botanical, entomological, and geographical origins using ultraviolet (UV) spectroscopy and SIMCA (soft independent modeling of class analogy). The spectral data of a total of 1040 samples, representing six types of Indonesian honey of different botanical, entomological, and geographical origins, were acquired using a benchtop UV-visible spectrometer (190–400 nm). Three different pre-processing algorithms were simultaneously evaluated; namely an 11-point moving average smoothing, mean normalization, and Savitzky–Golay first derivative with 11 points and second-order polynomial fitting (ordo 2), in order to improve the original spectral data. Chemometrics methods, including exploratory analysis of PCA and SIMCA classification method, was used to classify the honey samples. A clear separation of the six different Indonesian honeys, based on botanical, entomological, and geographical origins, was obtained using PCA calculated from pre-processed spectra from 250–400 nm. The SIMCA classification method provided satisfactory results in classifying honey samples according to their botanical, entomological, and geographical origins and achieved 100% accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity. Several wavelengths were identified (266, 270, 280, 290, 300, 335, and 360 nm) as the most sensitive for discriminating between the different Indonesian honey samples.

The article describes the current state of development of beer tourism in Ukraine. In particular, the theoretical aspects of the development of beer tourism are studied: the ambiguity of approaches to the interpretation of the concept of beer tourism is pointed out; the subspecies of beer tourism are singled out and the main components of the beer tour are indicated in terms of their difference from other types of tours. The main variants of classifications of types of beer as the main product of beer tourism on the following signs are described: according to GOST 29018−91; GOST 3473-78, depending on the mass fraction of dry matter in the initial wort and the method of fermentation (the so-called international classification of beer). According to opinion polls, the key parameters of a typical portrait of the average beer consumer, and, consequently, a potential customer of a beer tour are given − gender, age, place of residence, consumer wealth, volume and location of consumption, preferences on type, price and packaging of beer. The economic indicators of the beer industry in Ukraine in the last decade are characterized: the causes and consequences of the beer crisis in Ukraine in 2013-2014, the activities and portfolios of beer brands of key players in the beer market of Ukraine − corporations SUN InBev Ukraine, Carlsberg Ukraine (Carlsberg Ukraine), Oasis CIS («First Private Brewery») and Obolon. The possibilities of craft brewing in Ukraine are analyzed, a brief description of the key craft breweries of Ukraine (VARVAR, PRAVDA Beer Theater, Collider, Tsypa Brewery, Bierwille, White Rabbit, Andrii’s Craft Brewery, K&F Brewery) is given. The information on top locations of beer tourism by regions and the main beer festivals and events of the country is systematized. Problems and perspective directions of development of domestic beer tourism are defined. It was found that the scale of beer tours in Ukraine is not well studied, however, with proper organizational work, beer tourism and, accordingly, beer tours in the country can significantly replenish the amount of tax revenues to local and state budgets, which will lead to effective policy and business revival. activity that will affect the national economy.
