This research is a qualitative study describing the narrative structure of Ulat Entaduk story as one among the oral literature (fable) living in Malay society in Mempawah. The source of this research data are two native speakers from Mempawah with data in the form of fable stories. The Data was analyzed with a literary study using Greimas narrative structure theory. The results of this study showed that the acution and functional schemes of Ulat Entaduk story is  based off the inner conflict of the main character namely the mother and her childish adoptive son (blood-sucking worm) to torment the inner and physical mother. This happened because she too spoiled for her adoptive child that threatened her and family life. The most striking extrinsic element in the Caterpillar's story is self-immaturity and a family education that belongs to sex education. Readers are also taught to be thankful, respect for parents, and live independently as a key to the happiness of life. Keywords: Ulat Entaduk (caterpillar), Greimas narrative, Malay Mempawah

It appears to me that one of the implications of the Academy's statement on family life and sex education (Pediatrics, 42: 535, 1968) is that such programs are a form of immunization against the social health problems of today's society. If this is truly the feeling of the committees jointly represented, I would like to point out that there is no valid proof of this statement. In my experience, many practicing physicians, be they family physicians or pediatricians, are totally unprepared and are psychologically unable to effectively serve as the supportive link and catalyst for the instruction of parents and schools the Academy recommends.

This study aims to reveal heteronormativity in the Lovely Man movie by director Teddy Soeriaatmadja by using narrative structure theory from Tzvetan Todorov and the concept initiated by Judith Butler. Heteronormative values that appear in the film directed by Teddy Soeriaatmadja are seen through dialogue between characters in each scene that are divided into three; (1) equilibrium/plenitude, (2) disruption, disequilibrium/disrupting force, and (3) opposing force. This research uses qualitative method by using approach of narrative analysis of model Tzvetan Todorov. The data used for this research is the film of Lovely Man by director Teddy Soeriaatmadja itself. Human interaction involves a process of sharing experiences, telling stories, and retelling stories in a form of narration. While telling story, the narration is structured in a way to make sense to the audiences. This study examined the narrative structures in Kelantanese dialect used by young female native speakers. The participants were two (2) female Kelantanese students, aged 25 and 27 years old, who have completed their undergraduate studies in local universities. Audio recording and semi-structured interview were two types of instruments used for the data collection. Interview session of 1012 words was analyzed using a combination of the theory of Malay sentence classifications and the theory of narrative structure. The findings of this study reveal that the narration in Kelantanese dialect has a systematic structure which consists of title and elaboration. The title consists of the abstract and orientation, while elaboration includes the four stages of narrative structure which are complication, evaluation, resolution and coda. The findings show that the story is unfolded in a structural manner-which means it has the idea and the elaboration of the idea (the story).
