Social society and socio-culture cannot be separated from each other. Therefore, literature was born as a product of society and culture. From these literary works, literary teaching materials with social and cultural background can be made. This study explains the social identity and local wisdom contained in the collection of Celurit Hujan Panas short stories by Zainul Muttaqin. In this study, the method used is the quality desriptive method. The data used comes from quotes on a collection of short stories of Celurit Hujan Panas. This research used listening and note-taking techniques. Research data analysis started from presenting the data, reducing the data, and analyzing conclusions. The results of this study show that the social identity contained in the story are namely (1) social structure, (2) social behavior, and (3) ontological definitions. Moreover, the values of local wisdom contained in the story are (1) culture, (2) beliefs, and (3) social values. Sosial masyarakat dan sosial budaya tidak bisa dipisahkan satu sama lain. Karena itulah, sastra lahir sebagai produk dari sosial dan budaya. Dari karya sastra tersebut, dapat dibuat bahan ajar sastra berlatar sosial dan budaya. Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang identitas sosial dan kearifan lokal yang terkandung dalam kumpulan cerpen Celurit Hujan Panas karya Zainul Muttaqin. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deksriptif kualititatif. Data yang digunakan berasal dari kutipan pada kumpulan cerpen Celurit Hujan Panas. Penelitian menggunakan teknik simak dan catat. Analisis data penelitian dimulai dari menyajikan data, mereduksi data, dan kesimpulan analisis. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa identitas sosial yang terkandung yaitu (1) struktur sosial, (2) tingkah laku sosial, dan (3) definisi ontologis. Nilai kearifan lokal yang terkandung adalah (1) nilai budaya, (2) kepercayaan, dan (3) nilai sosial.

Feminist critics have identified the social constructedness of masculinity and have explored how male characters often find themselves caught up in a ceaseless quest to propagate and live up to an acceptable image of manliness. These critics have also explored how the effort to live up to the dictates of this social construct has often come at great cost to male protagonists. In this paper, we argue that August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and Joe Turner’s Come and Gone present the reader with a coterie of male characters who face the dual crisis of living up to a performed masculinity and the pitfalls that come with it, and what Mazrui has referred to as the phenomenon of “transclass man.” Mazrui uses the term transclass man to refer to characters whose socio-economic and socio-cultural experience displays a fluid degree of transitionality. We argue that the phenomenon of transclass man works together with the challenges of performed masculinity to create characters who, in an effort to adjust to and fit in with a new and patriarchal urban social milieu in America’s newly industrialised north, end up destroying themselves or failing to realise other possibilities that may be available to them. Using these two plays as illustrative examples, we further argue that staged masculinity and the crisis of transclass man in August Wilson’s plays create male protagonists who break ranks with the social values of a collectively shared destiny to pursue an individualistic personal trajectory, which only exacerbates their loss of social identity and a true sense of who they are.

ABSTRAK Lawakan komika Abdur pada acara Stand Up Comedy tersebut mengandung implikatur. Kajian pragmatik mengenai implikatur dalam lawakan komika Abdur pada acara Stand Up Comedy di dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori Grice dengan adanya 2 jenis implikatur, yakni: (1) implikatur konvensional dan (2) implikatur nonkonvensional atau implikatur percakapan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah tuturan komika Abdur pada acara Stand Up Comedy yang diperoleh melalui Youtube. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implikatur yang terdapat dalam lawakan komika Abdur pada acara Stand Up Comedy dan jenis implikatur yang terdapat dalam lawakan tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik simak dan catat, sedangkan analisis data melalui langkah identifikasi data, reduksi data, klasifikasi data, dan interpretasi data. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut. (1) terdapat implikatur dalam lawakan Abdur pada acara Stand Up Comedy dan (2) ada 11 implikatur konvensional dalam lawakan Abdur pada acara Stand Up Comedy dan tidak ada implikatur nonkonvensional dalam lawakan tersebut.Kata Kunci: Implikatur, lawakan, stand up comedy  ABSTRACT The Abdur’s jokes on the Stand Up Comedy show contains implicature. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The source of the research data is the Abdur’s speech on the Stand Up Comedy show obtained through YouTube. The purpose of this study is to describe the implicature of a comic Abdur’s jokes on Stand Up Comedy show. The data are collected by listening and note taking techniques. The data analysis steps include data identification, data reduction, data classification, and interpretation. The results of this study are as follows. (1) there are implicature of a comic Abdur’s Jokes on Stand Up Comedy Show and (2) there are 11 conventional implicature of a comic Abdur’s Jokes on Stand Up Comedy show and there is not non-conventional implicature.Keywords: Implicature, jokes, stand up comedy

Setiap manusia yang ada di dunia memiliki keyakinan yang dianut. Spiritual  adalah dasar dari kehidupan manusia dalam aktivitas kehidupan di dunia. Salah satu peristiwa yang terjadi dalam kehidupan adalah hubungan sosial antar manusia.  Perkembangan manusia dimulai dari bayi, balita, anak-anak, remaja, dewasa sampai lanjut usia. Masa remaja adalah fase transisi yang berada diantara fase anak - anakmenuju fase dewasa. Setiap fase perkembangan manusia dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya adalah faktor lingkungankeluarga dan spiritual. Abad 21 memberikan potensi adanya pergeseran nilai emosional dan sosial remaja ke arah negatif, seperti pergaulan bebas yang dilakukan oleh remaja. Data diambil  melalui PubMed, ProQuest, dan Google Cendekia menggunakan kata kunci: spiritual, sikap spiritual orang tua, perilaku sosial dan seksual remaja. Hasil dari delapan artikel yang diperoleh, diidentifikasi sebanyak empat tema, yaitu Spiritual dalam hubungan sosial, spiritual dalam perilaku dan kesehatan mental remaja, perilaku seksual berdasarkan budaya dan yang terkahir yaitu kontrol spiritual dalam perilaku dan pendidikan seksual. Hakekat dari nilai yang sosial yang terkandung dalam spiritual mampu memberikan dampak bagi kehidupan sosial remaja. Peran tingkat pengetahuan dan aplikasi nilai spiritual oleh orang tua dan lingkungan remaja tinggal mampu memberikan dampak bagi perilaku sosial remaja.  Perilaku sosial remaja yang didalamnya terdapat perilaku untuk memenuhi kebutuhan biologisnya yaitu perilaku seksual.  Remaja yang pengalaman hidupnya belum banyak, maka berisiko salah dalam mengambil keputusan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dalam kehidupannya termasuk hubungan sosialnya. Meningkatnya pemahaman nilai spiritual akan mampu mengontrol perilaku yang dilakukan oleh remaja untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sosialnya. Kata kunci: peran spiritual, perilaku sosial dan seksual, remaja SPIRITUAL ROLE DEALING WITH SOCIAL AND SEXUAL BEHAVIOR OF YOUTH ABSTRACTEvery human being in the world have adopted beliefs. Spirituality is the foundation of human life in the world's life activity. One of the events that happen in life is the social relationships between people. Human development begins from infants, toddlers, children, teenagers, adults to elderly. Adolescence is a transitional phase that is between phases of a child - the child towards the adult phase. Each phase of human development is influenced by several factors, one of which is a spiritual family and environmental factors. The 21st century provides the potential for a shift in adolescent emotional and social values in the negative direction, such as promiscuity conducted by adolescents. Data retrieved via PubMed, ProQuest, and Google Scholar using keywords: spiritual, spiritual attitudes of parents, social behavior and sexual. Results from the eight articles obtained, four themes were identified, namely spiritual in social relationships, spiritual behavior and mental health of adolescents, sexual behavior based on culture and finally spiritual control in sexual behavior and education. The nature of the social values contained in the spiritual can provide an impact on the social life of adolescents. The role of the level of knowledge and application of spiritual values by parents and the environment of adolescents living is able to have an impact on adolescent social behavior. Adolescent social behavior in which there is behavior to meet biological needs, namely sexual behavior. Teenagers, whose life experiences are not many, then risk making the wrong decision to meet the needs in their lives, including social relationships. Increased understanding of spiritual values will be able to control the behavior carried out by adolescents to meet their social needs. Keywords: spiritual behavior, adolescents, adolescent sexual behavior

This study exposes about society changes when the formation and development of Trans Village program from isolation to acculturation. Its purpose is to identify how the community change from isolated to acculturated and changes then forms a social identity in Trans Village. The Theory used in this field is Henri Taifel’s social identity theory that stated the individual concept forms by their experience in the group by acknowledging and applied the social values, participate, and develops their sense of care and pride of their group. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. This study also uses data analysis techniques by reducing data, displaying data and drawing conclusions. The number of informants used is 9 people filtered through purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that the process from isolation to community acculturation occurred at the time of the formation and development of the Trans Village in Kurau Village. At first, the transmigrant communities are isolated from the local community so there are no interactions. Then by the time being, Trans Village leads to the transformation of social identity. Social identity is formed starting from the awareness, relationships, collaboration and harmonization among the people. People who were initially isolated have now become acculturated in Kampung Trans. This condition can be seen from the merging of the community, namely the local community and transmigrants in Trans Village which caused mixing between cultures so that new cultures are formed while still preserving old cultures. People live mingled by promoting the values ​​and rules that exist in Kampung Trans.

During 250 years the evolution of such features as the abundance or absence of enjambments, the use of constrained or loose iambs, and some others corresponds to the changes in the architecture of the theaters, the social structure of the audience, the manners of declamation, the complexity of poetic language, and the types of characters and plots the playwrights used.

This study aims to express the trust and hegemony in the "Broker" short story by Sri Lima R.N. This research is motivated by the idea that language in fiction or short stories is meaningful and indicated not to be neutral.  The language in the short story, became the media for sending message content to the author as a reflection of the social community referred to. The approach used in this study is the sociology of literature, specific to the study of Gramsci hegemony. The research method used is descriptive qualitative.  Research data obtained from text, words, phrases, sentences, contained in short stories related to trust and hegemony. The research data is then described and expressed based on the approach used. The results of the study show that there was a change in the characteristics of Handoko's character as a broker who was initially good, become opportunist. Brokerage profession is used as a tool to hegemony the public to get profits. Community trust in brokers and people who are considered smart also grow. However, Handoko's figure was eventually protested by people who had used their services and failed. Handoko or brokers run away from the protests and demands of the people.

The article analyzes research on the spread of extremist ideology in prisons and uses the theory of social identity to understand the mechanism of radicalization in conditions of isolation. The urgency of addressing this problem is explained by the fact that since the events of September 11, 2001, it is the radicalization in prisons that has turned into a serious threat to the security of different countries. In addition measures to counter terrorism necessarily rely on knowledge of the psychological laws by which radicalization occurs; equally, like the development of preventive measures aimed at convicts as well as the creation of deradicalization programs, are based on an understanding of the mechanisms of social behavior. The focus of the work is on the concept of modern terrorism proposed by J. Baudrillard, the problem of radicalization and the spread of the ideology of extremism in prisons is studied, the importance of social identity in connection with the process of radicalization in a situation of isolation is demonstrated. A special role is given to the ideas of M. Hogg’s theory of uncertainty-identity (the motivational direction of the approach of social identity). According to her, experiencing uncertainty, people become inclined to the division of radical ideas and membership in the corresponding groups, because in this way they receive direct and unambiguous answers to their questions. The way to reduce uncertainty is belonging to a group, since the latter is the basis for self-determination, that is, individuals in it acquire the desired social identity, receive norms and rules of behavior, direction of thoughts and feelings. In conclusion the possibilities of the social identity approach for diagnosing persons vulnerable to involvement in terrorist activities are explained.

  Abstrak Latar belakang penelitian ini untuk memberikan pemahaman terhadap nilai-nilai sosial yang ada dalam kumpulan Cerita Rakyat Bangka Belitung kepada pembaca agar dijadikan rujukan dan mengenalkan kembali cerita rakyat di masa modern ini kepada pembaca. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai-nilai sosial apa saja yang terkandung dalam kumpulan cerita rakyat Bangka Belitung? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai sosial yang terkandung dalam kumpulan cerita rakyat Bangka Belitung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif adalah metode penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan secara utuh dan mendalam tentang realitas sosial dan berbagai fenomena yang terjadi dimasyarakat yang menjadi subjek penelitian sehingga tergambarkan ciri, karakter, sifat, dan model dari fenomena tersebut. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan sosiologi sastra, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis karya. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) Nilai kasih sayang yang terdiri dari: pengabdian, tolong menolong, kekeluargaan, kesetiaan, dan kepedulian. 2) Nilai tanggung jawab yang terdiri dari:rasa memiliki, disiplin, dan empati. 3) Nilai keserasian hidup yang terdiri dari: keadilan, toleransi, kerja sama, dan demokrasi. Buku Cerita Rakyat Bangka Belitung karya Maulana Syamsuri sangat baik untuk dibaca bagi masyarakat, karena di dalam buku ini banyak mengajarkan nilai-nilai sosial yang baik untuk dijadikan contoh.   Kata kunci : nilai sosial, cerita rakyat Abstract The background of this research is to provide an understanding of social values that are in the collection of the folklore of Bangka Belitung to the reader in order to be used as a reference and reintroduced the folklore in modern times is to the reader. Problems in the research of social values is what is contained in the collection of the folklore of Bangka Belitung? This research aims to know and describe the social values that are contained in the collection of the folklore of Bangka Belitung. The methods used in this research is descriptive qualitative method is a method of research that aims to describe completely and insightful about the social reality and the various phenomena that occurred dimasyarakat which became the subject of the research so that breakfast buffet characteristics, character, nature, and the model of the phenomenon. The approach used is the approach to the sociology of literature, while data analysis techniques using analytical techniques paper. The results of this study are as follows. 1) value of affectionate Devotion: (1), (2) Please help, (3), (4) familial loyalty, and (5) concern. 2) value of responsibility: (1) a sense of belonging, (2) discipline, and (3) empathy. 3) the value of the harmony of life: (1) justice, (2) (3) tolerance, cooperation, and (4) democracy. The book Folktales of Bangka Belitung works of Maulana Syamsuri very good to read for people, because in this book many teach social values are good to be used as an example.

Dharmasraya regency is once the destination of transmigration for Suamtera region. Some of them is Timpeh. The pattern of transmigration in Timpeh is general transmigration and local transmigration. Dharmasraya is of the most successful transmigration destination in Indonesia withTransmigration Award “Makarti Nayomata from the Indonesian minister of Transmigration in 2012 as indicator. This study conducted with qualitative research. Data collected through document study, interviews and observation. Result is the Dharmasraya transmigration program succesfull aired on nation TV station once year after. Transmigration program bring the changes on the social life of Timpeh. Transmigration conducted the new social identity, new culture and the pattern of economic development in Timpeh.  Kabupaten Dharmasraya adalah salah satu daerah tujuan transmigrasi untuk wilayah Sumatera. Di antara beberapa daerah yang berada dalam Kabupaten Dharmasraya yang menjadi daerah tujuan transmigrasi adalah Timpeh. Pola transmigrasi yang berlangsung di kecamatan Timpeh adalah Transmigrasi Umum (TU) dan Transmigrasi Lokal. Dalam menjalankan program transmigrasi yang diadakan oleh pemerintah, kabupaten Dharmasraya adalah contoh daerah tujuan transmigrasi yang paling berhasil di Indonesia, hal ini dibuktikan dengan penghargaan Transmigration Award “Makarti Nayomata” dari Mentri Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Republik Indonesia yang diraih oleh kabupaten Dharmasraya pada tahun 2012. Atas prestasi ini, maka tahun selanjutnya keberhasilan program transmigrasi di Kabupaten Dharmasraya juga ditayangkan di stasiun televisi nasional. Penelitian dilakukan secara qualitatif di nagari kecamatan Timpeh. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi dokumen, wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Program transmigrasi ternyata telah membawa banyak perubahan dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan masyarakat kecamatan Timpeh. Transmigrasi membentuk identitas baru sosial, budaya masyarakat serta pola pembangunan ekonomi.
