The development of teaching materials is important to create a learning process that suits the needs of STIM Shanti Bhuana. The Entrepreneurship Study Program of STIM Shanti Bhuana has not yet possessed teaching materials that represent the characteristics of the institution, i.e. national resilience and <em>Amare</em> culture. Therefore, needed the development of a valid teaching material that can improve students' learning outcomes, and has characteristics that can be used. Borg and Gall’s model of development is employed in this study which is summarized into three major steps to ease the study. The steps include the study of introduction, product development, and product validation. This study shows that this developed teaching material is valid. The result is obtained through the analysis upon the validation forms. From 9 validations, the score of 4.49 is obtained. The value means that the teaching material is appropriate and can be used. The analysis result on the learning mastery, after the students attend the classes integrating the teaching material, is 75%. Through the N-gain exam, it is known that there is an improvement between the pre-test and post-test with a value of 0.40. The percentage value of the improvement is 33.33%. The characteristics of the development of the National Resilience and <em>Amare</em> Culture-Based Entrepreneurship Education, based on the questionnaire, shows that the developed teaching material provides a good effect on the students. Through the measurement on the score from the questionnaire, it is gained the value of 83.8. Therefore, it can be concluded that the developed teaching materials are valid, can improve students' learning outcomes, and are easily used by the students.

Abstract: The development of thematic teaching materials for comic-based picture stories is one of the tools to help students understand learning. Facts in the field indicate that the learning process has not proceeded as desired, this is because the teacher and students only hold on the textbooks (student books and teacher books) provided by the teacher without being accompanied by supporting media when the teaching and learning process takes place so that children feel bored, unhappy, sleepy and lazy because there are no exciting media to support thematic learning in which there are several subjects. The purpose of this development is to produce products in the form of fun comic-based teaching materials making it easier for students to deepen the understanding of the environment around my home. The kind of research used by researchers is descriptive with qualitative and quantitative data analysis. This type of research is Research and Development, which refers to the Dick and Carrey model. The results of the research development of thematic teaching materials based on pictorial stories meet interesting criteria with the results of the content expert tests reaching 86% eligibility level, design experts reaching 92.5%, linguists reaching 80%, learning practitioners reaching 86%, and the results of field trials reaching 93 %, student learning outcomes on average post-test scores 72.68 and pre-test scores 97. From the explanation above, there are significant differences in student learning outcomes using thematic materials based on comic-based pictorial stories and those who do not use thematic-based thematic teaching materials pictorial. This shows that the product being developed has appropriateness of qualification because the concepts are in accordance with the characteristics of the child. Hence, the teaching material is suitable for use in learning.

Teaching materials in the learning process plays a very important. If the teacher can utilize the teaching materials as well, then the faculty can share the role with teaching materials. Besides lecturers using appropriate teaching materials can save time in teaching and lecturers can change the role of a teacher becomes a facilitator, and to improve the learning process becomes more effective and interactive. For students, teaching materials can help learners become independent and can be used to measure the competence that has been owned by students. The local culture course is programmed elective courses in the sixth semester of 2017 and listed on the curriculum of Study Program of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teacher education courses. Teaching materials that have been used in the learning activities is a simple teaching material prepared by the lecturer by using a reference from the internet and books are minimal. The purpose of this study was to determine the needs of students to instructional materials subject to local culture. The research subject was a student from 2017, amounting to 25 data was collected using observation sheets and questionnaires lectures open to students. Observations show that the obstacles encountered in the course of learning the local culture is not teaching materials that can be used as a handle in the learning process. The results of the questionnaire analysis needs of students to instructional materials show that the teaching materials needed by the students is in the form of modules and textbooks.

This study examines performance model of Kulcapi Karo as a teaching material in guitar learning classes at Music Art Study Program in Unimed. To obtain maximum learning outcomes in the learning process, creative strategies and methods are created in utilizing local music culture as a capital in improving music playing skills. Efforts are made in various ways to maximize learning by reviewing and analyzing matters related to the learning process such as; analyze learning objectives, teaching material, strategies or learning methods, including local cultural material as a learning resource that can be adapted to the development and needs of the community in the world of education that continues to grow. Based on this, it is very important if Kulcapi's musical instrument culture as local culture can be packaged and used as teaching material in learning guitar music instruments. This is intended to further enrich students' understanding of theoretical concepts and the practice of playing stringed musical instruments is not only limited to popular knowledge, but also on things that are more specifically including traditional ones. With the effort to study and understand the Kulcapi instrument as teaching material, students must absolutely understand the organology structure and the technique of playing Kulcapi to be able to be developed to the level of being able to play better musical instruments. The technique of playing Kulcapi instrument as a capital in developing students' abilities in guitar courses seems to be more able to improve the achievement of better quality learning outcomes

The objectives of this research are to know the practicality and the effectiveness of the development of teaching material and ICT-based media toward learning outcome on material of quadratic equations and function. Research subjects are mathematics education students of FKIP Muhammadiyah University of Metro. Experimental design uses a before-after or one group pretest-posttest technique. The technique of collecting data uses the questionnaires and tests. Data analysis uses paired sample t-test. The results obtained by the value of sig. = 0.000 where the value of α = 0.05 and the value of t = 6807> ttable = 2,015, so it can be concluded that the value of the pre-test and post-test was very significantly different. The marginal average was known that post-test value was greater than that of the pre-test, so it can be concluded that there was a significant effect of teaching materials and ICT-based media toward learning outcomes. In other words, the teaching materials and ICT-based media are very effective for teaching and learning. Keywords: teaching material and media, ICT, quadratic equations and function.

The learning process that is currently taking place in the rhythmic gymnastics course in the Health and Recreation Physical Education study program at the University of Nahdlatul Ulama Lampung is still using the printed module. This is still considered ineffective and inefficient, which causes student learning outcomes in low rhythm gymnastics courses. This study aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes between before and after being given an electronic module in rhythmic gymnastics courses. The method used in this study was one group pre-test post-test design. In this study, a pre-test and post-test were conducted to determine the increase in student learning outcomes. The increase in student learning outcomes is expressed by the N-Gain score. The results showed that the applied electronic module teaching materials could improve student learning outcomes in rhythmic gymnastics courses. Where the average N-Gain score was 56.75% with the category quite effective. Thus the application of electronic module teaching materials can improve student learning outcomes in rhythmic gymnastics courses.

Linguistics Description of English is a new subject in the curriculum of English Education Study Program in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education in Jambi University. Hence, the material for this subject is not yet available. Therefore, this research aims at developing a prototype of teaching materials for Linguistics Description of English course. By designing the prototype of teaching materials for this course, the researchers expected that lecturers who will teach this subject will not find difficulties in teaching this course. Besides, the use of materials which have been designed based on students’ need and linguistic lecturers’ discussion is anticipated to be able to encourage students to be more active in teaching and learning process. Thus, the choice of the topics is suited to the characteristics of the students and drew from the result of the need analysis questionnaire and forum group discussion (FGD) with the lecturers. This research utilized research and development design, based on the theory developed by Borg and Gall (1983). The result of the research is the prototype of the teaching materials for Linguistics Description of English course.
