The development of teaching materials is important to create a learning process that suits the needs of STIM Shanti Bhuana. The Entrepreneurship Study Program of STIM Shanti Bhuana has not yet possessed teaching materials that represent the characteristics of the institution, i.e. national resilience and Amare culture. Therefore, needed the development of a valid teaching material that can improve students' learning outcomes, and has characteristics that can be used. Borg and Gall’s model of development is employed in this study which is summarized into three major steps to ease the study. The steps include the study of introduction, product development, and product validation. This study shows that this developed teaching material is valid. The result is obtained through the analysis upon the validation forms. From 9 validations, the score of 4.49 is obtained. The value means that the teaching material is appropriate and can be used. The analysis result on the learning mastery, after the students attend the classes integrating the teaching material, is 75%. Through the N-gain exam, it is known that there is an improvement between the pre-test and post-test with a value of 0.40. The percentage value of the improvement is 33.33%. The characteristics of the development of the National Resilience and Amare Culture-Based Entrepreneurship Education, based on the questionnaire, shows that the developed teaching material provides a good effect on the students. Through the measurement on the score from the questionnaire, it is gained the value of 83.8. Therefore, it can be concluded that the developed teaching materials are valid, can improve students' learning outcomes, and are easily used by the students.

In the elementary school curriculum know 2013 revision 2017 now the process of teaching and learning is based on themes, namely a teaching and learning process that has teaching materials related to the problem, and local needs that are used as themes or titles in the learning process in study groups. As a leading Islamic school SD Muhammadiyah 8 Tulangan Sidoarjo in every teaching and learning process teachers are required to always associate all teaching material with the Qur'an. The problem is that the support of open tools that can quickly find references to verses of the Qur'an related to a particular theme does not yet exist, so that the teaching and learning process becomes ineffective. To overcome this problem the author provides a program solution. This program will provide solutions that are expected to solve partner problems. The main method used is to use a tool in the form of a web-based thematic application, which is an application that can find references to Ayat Al-Qur'an related to a particular theme. In this application, users simply enter the theme to be discussed, the reference letters and verses and their meanings will appear. With this application, it is expected that teachers can quickly find references to each theme in each teaching material while making time efficiency.

In accordance with the paradigm of 21st century education, teachers are required to facilitate students with the learning process which addresses the improvement of students’ higher thinking skill. The community service which was conducted in MTs Al Ikhlas Soe, East Nusa Tenggara was aimed at: 1) culturing as well as developing students’ literacy in school; 2) improving students’ capacity in literacy; 3) managing students’ knowledge and higher thinking skill, as considerable as 4) elevating teachers’ professionalism so that learning process can be more effective and efficient. The methods used were lecture, discussion, brainstorming, simulation, and assignment. The materials delivered were about the arrangement and development of literacy-oriented teaching materials. The product produced from the training was implemented in learning process on VII graders. This was aimed to observe whether there was an improvement gained after the training given. The participants of this community service were 13 teachers and 34 students of MTs Al Ikhlas Soe. The results showed that teachers’ skill in arranging teaching materials has been improved. Furthermore, students’ understanding about the concept or their knowledge related to the materials has been upgraded after experiencing the implementation of literacy-oriented learning.

This study aims to produce teaching materials by using VAK (Visual Auditory Kinestethic) on fantasy story material for 7th grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Medan. The research method used is Research and Development which refers to Borg and Gall model. The stages of development are the initial study phase, initial product development, and product trials. The results showed that the results of material validation included content eligibility with an average of 82% with a very good category, Eligibility for Presentation with an average of 87.5% with a very good category, and an assessment of language aspects with an average of 82.2% with a category very good. For the assessment of graphics by design experts obtained an average of 87% with the category "very good". Product trials are carried out in three stages: individual testing, small group trials, and limited field trials. Individual trials with an average of 86% with very good categories, small group trials with an average of 87.4% with very good categories, and limited field trials with an average of 88.3% with very good categories. The effectiveness of teaching materials is obtained through student learning outcomes in the pretest and posttest. Average score at pretest is 52 and at posttest is 76. This proves that the teaching material of fantasy story by using VAK (Visual Auditory Kinestethic) is feasible, easy, and effective for use in 7th grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Medan. This research has implications for Indonesian language learning process, which is teaching material by using VAK (Visual Auditory Kinestethic) which is developed to provide practical contributions, especially in the implementation of the learning process for teachers, teaching materials in the form of this module can be additional teaching materials to provide convenience in conveying fantasy story material taught, enriching and increasing students' knowledge about fantasy story so that learning will be more interesting and motivate students, trains students to learn independently.
