ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research was to improve the ability of public speaking’s student by using stand up comedy technique of grade sixth SDN Arca subdistrict Sukamakmur, Bogor. The subject consisted of 30 students, 12 males, 18 females. The problems in this research is the low ability of speaking’s student in therms linguistic factors or nonlingusitic factors. Besides that, the learning are not interesting, boring and the result of the learning have not reached minimum completenes criteria established by school. This study was classroom action research (CAR) it was conducted with two cycles, each cycle consisted of planning, conducting, observation, and reflection of Kemmis and Taggart Model. Related with the quality of student’s learning result by using stand up comedy technique, it showed that student’s abilities were improved. These abilities were regularity the delivery of ideas, sentence and word accuracy, fluency and naturalness, articulation and intonation, courage and trust, the precision of set up and punch line technique, the precision of one liner technique, and the precision of act out technique. The Results of research on learning cycle one, indicating that speech abilities of students through the techniques of stand up comedy has increased by 67% and the end of the second cycle of 90%. Based on data analysis, found an increased percentage of students in speech amounted to 23%. It can be concluded that learning through stand up comedy techniques to improve the ability of speech sixth grade students of SDN Arca Sukamakmur District of Bogor regency on the initial hypothesis can be accepted and proven. Key Words: Stand Up Comedy Technique, Speaking Ability of Student. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpidato melalui teknik stand up comedy pada siswa kelas VI SDN Arca Kecamatan Sukamakmur Kabupaten Bogor dengan subjek 30 siswa, terdiri atas 12 siswa laki-laki dan 18 siswi perempuan. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berbicara siswa dalam hal faktor-faktor kebahasaan maupun nonkebahasaan. Di samping itu, pembelajaran kurang menarik, membosankan, dan hasil pembelajaran belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yang ditetapkan oleh Sekolah. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi model Kemmis dan Taggart. Berkenaan dengan kualitas kemampuan berpidato anak dengan teknik stand up comedy menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa dapat meningkat. Kemampuan tersebut adalah keruntutan penyampaian gagasan, ketepatan kalimat dan kata, kelancaran dan kewajaran, artikulasi dan intonasi, keberanian dan percaya, ketepatan set up dan punch line, ketepatan teknik one liner, dan ketepatan teknik act out. Hasil penelitian pada pembelajaran siklus I, menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpidato siswa melalui teknik stand up comedy mengalami peningkatan sebesar 67% dan akhir siklus II sebesar 90%. Berdasarkan analisis data tersebut, ditemukan persentase peningkatan siswa dalam berpidato sebesar 23%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran melalui teknik stand up comedy untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpidato siswa kelas VI SDN Arca Kecamatan Sukamakmur Kabupaten Bogor pada hipotesis awal dapat diterima dan terbukti.  Kata kunci: Teknik Stand Up Comedy, Kemampuan Berpidato Siswa.

This research aimed to (1) develop character based big book as a media for teaching English at sixth grade students at SD Lab UNDIKSHA Singaraja, and (2) find out the quality of character based big book developed. The subject of this research was thirty-two students of sixth grade students of elementary school at SD Lab UNDIKSHA Singaraja. The data of this research were obtained by using observation sheet, interview guide, item of questionnaire, checklist, rubric, and notes. This research was R & D (research and development) which followed several procedures based on Sugiyono model namely identifying potency and problem, collecting data, designing product, validating design product, revising design product, trying-out product, and revising product. The result of this research showed that there were five kinds of character based big book developed with the theme seasons, tourism, direction, airport, and transportation. Each big book consisted of fourteen up to fifteen pages and inserted character education in its story. For the quality of the media, it was found that the character based big book developed was categorized as excellent media. Thus, it was proper to be used as a media for teaching English at sixth grade students.

This research is based on the learning result of social sciences of grade VI SD Negeri 008 Lubuk Siam ofKecamatan Siak Hulu which is still very low. This study aims to improve learning outcomes of social sciencesstudents. From the data analysis there is an increase both from teacher activity, student activity, and studentlearning result, that is student activity On cycle I, student activity percentage78,28 (good)% and teacher activitypercentage 92,5% (Very perfect); in cycle II to 86.85% (very good) to 97.5% (very perfect). Judging from the resultsof learning cycle I has increased compared to conventional learning. Early learning outcomes were an average of57.85 (moderate); in cycle I, learning outcomes reached an average of 64.49 or with Enough category; in cycle IIincreased compared to the first cycle to be an average of 78.69 (good). Completeness at first was 6 students(17.16%.); in cycle I 22 students (65,70%); and in cycle II 31 students (88,57%). It can be concluded that graphicmedia enhancement can improve the learning result of Social Sciences of the sixth grade students of SD Negeri 008Lubuk Siam of Kecamatan Siak Hulu.

To deal with all of business trends, the education institution has to prepare the students to be able to set up a business idenpendedntly through the subject of entrepeuneurship.  As it is regulated in Vision and Mision of study program and is also regulated in the curriculum of lectures. </em><em></em></p><p align="justify"><em>This research is aimed at to find out the correlation between the spirit of entrepeunership and motivation , Family background, and education level. Based on the research result, the finding showed that the spirit of entrepeneurship correlated with the motivation and family background. Based on the finding, it was also found that education level did not correlate with that the spirit of entrepeneurship. The aim of this research was to find out the validity and reliability of a teacher-made test in SMAN 6 Bengkulu. This research was a descriptive quantitative research. The subject of this research was an English teacher-made test for eleventh grade students of SMAN 6 Bengkulu. There were 40 items of the test consist of 35 multiple choice items and 5 essay items. There were two research instruments used in this research, observation checklist and documentation. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the  percentage of the validity score was 60% or 0.60. It means that the test was valid but in the intermediate category. The r-obtained for reliability test was 0.62 and it was considered to be reliable but was in the intermediate level of reliability.  From the research finding, it can be concluded that the test was valid and reliable but both were in the intermediate category. It means that the test still need some revision and improvement in order to be a good, valid, and reliable test. Key Words : Validity, Reliability, Teacher-made test

This research aims to identify the difficulties of science learning among sixth grade students as determined and estimated by science teachers and students. To achieve the aims of this research, the researcher depends on the analysis descriptive approach. It identifies the percentages of the difficulty aspects included in questionnaires. For this purpose, the researcher designed two templates of questionnaires. First questionnaire consists of 20 items regarding the difficulties of science learning from students' perspective. Second questionnaire consists of 22 items regarding impediments of science learning from teachers' perspective. The validity and reliability of questionnaires were established. A random sample of 24 science teachers and 295 sixth grade students was used in Mubarak Al-kabeer area. The study was conducted in the second semester of the academic year 2018-2019.The findings reveal that there are no significant differences in the responses of students in different schools about the difficulties of science learning listed in the questionnaires such as the required topics quantity that forms a common difficulty for the student and the teacher in the same time , and some topics that needs longer time more than the given time in the lesson plans to explain and simplify them for the students. In light of the findings of the research were presented a number of recommendations and proposals, including: the need for attention to quantity and quality of academic content, where suitable for students in the sixth grade level and the specificity of the stage they are going through, the need to use teaching methods, activities and teaching aids, and to train in-service teachers on modern trends in science education.

<p>The background of this study is the lack of students activity in the conventional learning on desktopbased<br />visual programming subjects. As a result, many students do not understand the material provided by the<br />teacher. The purpose of this study is to determine the enhancement in the learning activity of student by<br />utilizing props inventory application program for students of SMK Negeri 5 Surakarta.<br />The research was conducted by using class action research with 2 cycles. The subject of study taken is<br />the class XI RPL A in SMK Negeri 5 Surakarta. The research object is the quality of the learning process, ie the<br />activity of learning. The experiment was conducted on 2nd semester academic year 2013/2014. The data<br />collection techniques used were observation and interviews. The Data analysis technique using the qualitative<br />analysis refers to the analysis model Miles and Huberman.<br />Based on the result of the research , we can conclude that an increase in the learning activity of precycle<br />student learning is 34,43%, in cycle 1 is 71,65%, and increased to 77,04% in cycle 2. It is proved that the<br />props inventory application program helps students to increase the learning activity on a desktop-based visual<br />programming subject .</p>

Abstract. The purpose of this research was to examine the relation between democratic-parenting and self confidence with independent new college student. The subject of the study were 131 new  college student of faculty preaching the state islamic institute sunan ampel surabaya. Data were collected by scale of democratic-parenting, self confidence and independent scale. The data analysis used multiple regression analysis showed that the democratic-parenting anda self confidence have a significant relation with independent new  college student. The result of correlation analysis between either democratic-parenting or self confidence with independent showed a positive correlation signifycantly. Variables of democratic parenting and self confidence give effecttive contribution toward independent new college student about 51,3%.Key words : Democratic-Parenting, Self Confidence, Independent New College Student.

Research the act of this class carried out of date 01 February 2018 – 08 March 2018aims to (1) enhance the capacity of ask a student to lose their; (2) increase yields of of students to study, declaration of relinquishing his her to see liveliness of teachers and students in the process of learning to promote disorder to. A subject in this research is a student X MIPA 1 SMAN 09 city Bengkulu school year 2017/2018 on the subject of redox reactions, which amounted to 28 students. The research results show that the implementation of learning cooperative type time token can improve the ability ask students, improve learning outcomes students, and improving liveliness teachers and students in learning in subject matter reaction redoks the result of which have be completed in cycle 3rd. On the ability of cycle I ask students 75 % rate of C1, 15 % rate of C2, 10 % rate of C3 and 28,57 % student learning. Cycle II ask students 65,22 % rate of C1, 21,74 % rate of C2, 13.04 % rate of C3 with 64,29 % student learning. The cycle III ask student 4,35 % rate of C1, 78,26 % rate of C2, and 17,39 % rate of C3, with 89,29 % student learning (who has achieved indicators of the quality of the success of research and KKM). To liveliness teachers from the cycle I, II, and III each 25, 27, and 30, while liveliness students in each 21, 24, and 28

This study aims at studying the national examination conducted by “Phytagoras” Mathematics Course. This research is a descriptive study conducted to test the national examination of elementary school, specifically in its mathematics subject. The data used in this research is the results of Indonesian national exam simulation test conducted by “Phytagoras” mathematics course in 2017. The data of this study are obtained from 919 sixth-grade students who had accomplished mathematical tutoring in “Phytagoras” mathematics course. The results of the data analysis showed that there are 5 out of 40 mathematical test items that need to be evaluated due to its level of difficulty. Those five items are suggested to be reformatted and revised for the improvements of the next national exam simulation test.

The purpose of the study is to see the effectiveness of the concept of gamification that is applied in the learning process of the subject of Renewal of Economic Education Learning. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. Subjects in this study are students of class 06PIEE001 FKIP Pamulang University. In this study adopted Marczewski's Gamification Framework concept which consists of 8 questions: 1) what is being gamified; 2) why is it being gamified; 3) who are the users; 4) how is it being gamified; 5) analytics are set up; 6) tested with users; 7) acted on feedback; and 8) released the solution. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that 1) the learning process in the course of Renewal of Economic Education Learning can be done with the concept of gamification by combining face-to-face learning in the classroom with online learning learning; 2) student response in learning process with gamification concept mostly interested because it is new for them; 3) there is a nurturant effect for as long as the concept of gamification is applied in the class
