The main purpose of this study was to develop a reliable and valid measurement tool to assess the project in primary school mathematics course. Totally 839 fifth and sixth grade students participated to the study from different public primary schools which are located in Adana district. While developing the scale, the reliability; content validity; construct validity tests and, correlation analysis were all carried out respectively. In line with these analyses, it has been derived a 18 item scale including "Thinking Skill", "The Impact of the Procedure on Individual" and "The Environmental Support for Learning Mathematics" sub factors. Cronbach Alpha internal consistency coefficients of these three sub factors that explain 52,04 % of the total variance were calculated .89, .90 and .84 respectively. Finally, considering the results of the analyses, It can be said that the Project Evaluation Scale is a reliable and valid tool that can be applied in 5th and 6th mathematics courses.

This study was designed to (1) test the feasibility of teaching topics in probability and statistics to a class of sixth-grade students and (2) construct a set of instructional materials and procedures in probability and statistics for sixth-grade students. From a content outline and task analysis, the behavioral objectives for the unit of instruction and the order in which objectives would be taught were decided upon. An instructional analysis of the unit was then undertaken. Using results from a pilot, a set of lessons were developed and used in teaching a class of 25 sixth-grade students. By employing the results from a pre- and post-criterion-referenced test, the feasibility of teaching the unit was demonstrated.

The objective was to estimate the prevalence of school bullying and identify the emotions of students involved. In this cross-sectional and descriptive study, a questionnaire was applied to 232 sixth-grade students of a public school. The results show a large number of students involved in bullying (39.6%): 22.2% were victims and 17.4% were aggressors. Anger was the most frequent emotion experienced by the victims when suffering aggression, while most aggressors reported that no emotions were experienced when abusing their peers. The high prevalence of bullying, its characteristics and the negative consequences that arise make it a public health problem. This study covers the importance of identifying emotions associated with school bullying, a subject seldom explored, which can contribute to the development of integral healthcare delivered to students.
