The purpose of this research is to find out (1) the process of science learning at the kindergarten and (2) the improvement of science mastery of the kindergarten?óÔé¼Ôäós pupils after the process skills are conducted. This research was done at TK Islamic kindergarten of Annisa Bantar Gebang Bekasi, especially at The B Kindergarten with 21 pupils as the objects of research and 3 people as the observers.This research used the action research method of Kemmis MC Taggart with the four components, that is: a) planning, b) action, c) observation, d) reflection. The data was collected by means of interview, observation, and document analysis. The data was analysized qualitatively and quantitatively. The result of the research shows that by using the process skills in science learning. It?óÔé¼Ôäós improving the science mastery of early-aged children, mainly at the Kindergarten B, it was improved. It was showed by the result of t test (22,264) is higher than t critical two tail (2,086). It means the improvement of science mastery of early-aged children is significant.

This study describes the understanding of students in science learning about the form of objects and their properties using teaching aids. Subjects In this study were fourth grade students of SDN 2 Klayan Cirebon Regency which amounted to 47 students with details of the number of male students 27 and female 20. The research method used was classroom action research. The stages of the study consisted of (1) preparing a plan of action (planning), (2) implementing an action (acting), (3) observing (observing), and reflecting (reflecting). The results of the study showed that at the beginning of learning (prasiklus) only 17 students (36%) graduated and increased in the first cycle to 37 students (79%). While students who did not pass or get scores below the KKM in the pre cycle there were 30 (64%) students in the first cycle to 10 students (21%). The acquisition of the average value has increased, namely the average of 81 students in the first cycle and an increase of 23.44 from the initial data of students which is only 67.56. In the second cycle the average score of 92 students increased from the first cycle of only 81. In addition, the percentage of students who graduated experienced an increase from the first cycle of students who graduated 37 students (69%) in the second cycle 44 students (94%) graduated because there are only 3 students (6%) who have not graduated.   Keywords: , ,

This research aims to discover about how the use of nature of science model effects science learning. The research method used was an experimental method with one group pretest posttest design. The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS 20 software with t-dependent sample t-test. Based on the results of the analysis, obtained a significance value of 0.00, this value is smaller than the value of α = 0.05. This means that there are differences, applying the learning model of nature of science, science learning is also better and can increase the understanding of the nature of science indirectly. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Nature of Science terhadap pembelajaran sains. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest posttest. Data yang telah diperoleh, dianalisis dengan mengunakan software SPSS 20 dengan uji t- dependent sampel t-test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,00, nilai ini lebih kecil dari nilai α = 0,05. Hal ini berarti terdapat perbedaaan, dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran nature of science maka berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pembelajaran sains. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran IPA menggunakan metode eksperimen ditinjau dari keterampilan proses dan hasil belajar IPA, dan (2) mengetahui perbedaan keefektifan antara pembelajaran IPA menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan demonstrasi ditinjau dari keterampilan proses dan hasil belajar IPA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasinya adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Diponegoro Depok Sleman pada tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Sampelnya adalah satu kelompok eksperimen yang proses pembelajarannya menggunakan metode eksperimen dan satu kelompok kontrol yang proses pembelajarannya menggunakan metode demonstrasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pretest dan posttest untuk hasil belajar sedangkan untuk keterampilan proses diambil dari data kemampuan awal dan kemampuan akhir yang merupakan hasil observasi pada LKS. Untuk mengetahui efektif tidaknya metode eksperimen dilakukan uji one sample t-test. Kemudian untuk mengetahui perbedaan keefektifan metode eksperimen dan demonstrasi dilakukan uji multivariat dengan uji T2 Hotelling dan dilanjutkan analisis univariat dengan uji independent sample t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pembelajaran IPA menggunakan metode eksperimen efektif ditinjau dari keterampilan proses dan hasil belajar IPA, dan (2) pembelajaran IPA menggunakan metode eksperimen lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses dan hasil belajar IPA dibandingkan dengan metode demonstrasi.Kata kunci: Keefektifan, metode eksperimen, keterampilan proses, hasil belajar IPA. THE EFFECTIVENESS OF EXPERIMENT METHOD ON PROCESS SKILLS AND THE SCIENCE LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT OF GRADE VIII STUDENTS IN SMPAbstractThis study aimed to (1) find out the effectiveness of science teaching-learning using experiment method on the process skills and science learning achievement, and (2) find out the difference of effectiveness between science teaching-learning using experiment method with demonstration method on process skills and science learning achievement. This research was a quasi experiment research. The population of the research was all of students of SMP Diponegoro Depok Sleman grade VIII in the academic year of 2013/2014. The sample consisted of the experiment group that the teaching-learning process used experiment method and the control group that the teaching-learning process used demonstration method. A pretest and posttest were used to collect the data of the learning achievement, while the process skill was taken from the prior ability and the final ability which were the result of observation on the LKS (Students Worksheet). To obtain the effectiveness of the experiment method on each variable, the data were analyzed with one sample t-test. Then, to find the difference between the effectiveness of the experiment and demonstration method on all variables used multivariate technique with T2 Hotelling and followed by univariate analysis with independent sample t test. The results of the research showed that (1) the teaching-learning process of science using the experiment method was effective in terms of process skills and science learning achievement of the students, and (2) the teaching-learning process of science using experiment method was more effective in improving the process skills and science learning achievement than that using the demonstration method. In science learning, the material is not contextual, most teachers still carry out traditional learning, teacher centered learning, and explains the photos in the book without giving a real picture in the environment. The situation has the potential to cause boredom, reduce interest, motivation, and deep meaning of what students are learning. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in learning interest of eighth grade students of SMPN 2 Pematang Karau on plant movement material using mobile photo media. The research method uses action research which consists of 2 cycles. The results showed that learning on plant movement material with mobile photo media became more optimal and the learning outcomes of students increased in interest in learning, cognitive aspects, cheerfulness, enthusiasm, attention, and activities.

Light is the material in science teaching and learning that uses a lot of laboratory activities and equipment. Learning is more effective if done through cooperative small groups. This study determines the effectiveness of science learning uses laboratory experimental methods for understanding concepts, science process skills, and scientific attitudes of students in SMP Negeri 2 Ende. This study used a non-randomized quasi-experimental design through the pretest-posttest control group. The sample amounted to 72 people consisting of 37 people in the experimental group and 35 in the control group. The research instrument used questions about understanding concepts, observation sheets, and scientific attitude questionnaires. Data obtained in the form of normalized gain and analyzed using Compare Mean - Independent Sample T Test. The results of the study showed that the laboratory experimental method was effective in improving understanding of concepts, science process skills, and scientific attitudes of students. The findings of this study, science learning is recommended to use laboratory experiment methods in which students communicate very intensively with each other and their teachers, use tools and materials, and influence students' scientific attitudes.Keywords: Laboratory Experimental Methods, Understanding Concepts, Science Process Skills, And Scientific AttitudesMateri cahaya adalah materi dalam sains yang menggunakan kegiatan dan peralatan laboratorium. Belajar lebih efektif jika dilakukan melalui kelompok kecil yang kooperatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan efektivitas pembelajaran sains menggunakan metode eksperimen laboratorium untuk memahami konsep, keterampilan proses sains, dan sikap ilmiah siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Ende. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Nonrandomized Control Group, Pretest–Posttest Design. Sampel berjumlah 72 orang yang terdiri dari 37 orang pada kelompok eksperimen dan 35 pada kelompok kontrol. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan pertanyaan tentang tes untuk pemahaman konsep, lembar observasi untuk keterampilan sains, dan angket untuk sikap ilmiah. Data diperoleh dalam bentuk gain ternormalisasi dan data dianalisis menggunakan perbandingan rerata gain (Compare Mean – Independent Sampel T Test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode eksperimen laboratorium efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, keterampilan proses sains, dan sikap ilmiah siswa. Temuan penelitian ini yaitu pembelajaran sains direkomendasikan untuk menggunakan metode percobaan laboratorium di mana siswa berkomunikasi sangat intensif satu sama lain dan guru mereka, menggunakan alat dan bahan, dan mempengaruhi sikap ilmiah siswa.Kata kunci: Metode Eksperimen, Pemahaman Konsep, Keterampilan Proses  Dan Sikap Ilmiah Peserta Didik

Integrated or thematic learning of science at the school level must continue to be improved. The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of science students in themes 6 and 7 on the topic of Biology through the use of video. The research method used in this study was classroom action research with 2 cycles. This research was conducted in January-February 2019 at State Elementary School 02 Jatimulya (SDN Jatimulya 02), Bekasi. The number of samples used was 36 students. Science learning outcomes of Biology topics after being given a learning video experienced an increase, although not large, while a gain score of 0.14 with a low gain score criteria. In conclusion, there was an increase in science learning outcomes on the topic of Biology after being given a learning video.

This research is based on the result of observation in the fourth grade students SDN Taman Kopo Indah. When learning activities take place, Researchers found the various problems. These problems lead to low comprehension of students. This study aims to determine Whether students' comprehension can improve After the implementation of model cooperative learning type picture to picture in social science learning. The research method used is Classroom Action Research Which refers to the Kemmis and Mc Taggart models. This research is done with the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This study was conducted in 3 action cycles. The results obtained are: The average percentage of students' complete mastery in the first cycle of 45%, In the second cycle increased by 35% to 80%, And cycle III increased by 5% to 85%. so, it is recommended for teachers to implement cooperative learning model type of picture to picture in the social science learning.

This study presents a research report on improving students’ Learning results on IPA through Video. The objective was to find out whether students’ learning result improved when they are taught by using Video. It was conducted using classroom action research method. The subject of the study was the Grade IV students of SDN 187/IV Kota Jambi which is located on Jln. Adi Sucipto RT 05 Kecamatan Jambi Selatan, and the number of the students were 21 persons. The instruments used were test. In analyzing the data, the mean of the students’ score for the on fisrt sycle was 65,4 (42,85%) and the mean on cycle two was 68,5 (37,15%) and the mean of the third cycle was 81,4 (100%). Then it can be concluded that the use of video on learning IPA can improve the students’ learning result. It is suggested that teachers should use video as one of the media to improve students’ learning result on IPA.Keywords : IPA, students’ learning result, video

Implementation of the 2013 curriculum is very different from the previous curriculum, there are still many obstacles that we know greatly affect the learning outcomes, both in terms of media used, the assessment in the 2013 curriculum is more complicated than the previous curriculum then the methods used to convey the learning materials that want to be taught not effective or even incompatible with the material to be conveyed. This research method is a classroom action research conducted in improving the learning process, with four meetings. The assessment taken in this study is an evaluation evaluation of each meeting in the form of attitudinal value, value of knowledge and skill value based on teacher's book on theme 4 "Healthy is Important" with sub theme 1 "Importance of Health and Environment". On the attitudes that appear attitude of self-confidence, curiosity and independence Already entrusted by 20.68% confidence, and curiosity while mandated 6.2% lower because students are still not familiar with the implementation of the curriculum 2013. Results of student knowledge seen the development in excellent value at the first meeting of 36.4%, at the second meeting decreased to 30.3%, while at the third meeting experienced a 52.25% increase again. While on the results of these students' skills on four meetings emerged every meeting with a very good category at the first meeting of 18.1%, at the second meeting increased to 27.3%, the third meeting decreased to 20.68%, while at the fourth meeting increased again by 65.62%.
