In the effort of improving the learning process, teachers must try to apply learning models that are appropriate to the character of the subjects so that the students are more active and learning becomes more meaningful. Based on data taken from the results of the daily tests of class VII J, as many as 67.65% of the students scored below the passing grade, and the average daily tests were 67.73. Factors causing the low learning outcomes are learning models that are still teacher-centered, so students are less active. Therefore we need an effort to improve the students’ activities and learning outcomes. This study aims to improve the students’ activities and learning outcomes in the Organizational System of Life through Guided Discovery Learning Model. The subjects of this study were the students of class VII J of SMPN 2 Demak, totaling 34 people, consisting of 10 men and 24 women. This research is a Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles. The research is said to be successful if the average daily test minimum reaches passing grade (80), classical completeness is at least 80%, and the percentage of student activity is at least 75%. The data collection techniques are using student test results, observation sheets of teacher and student activities. The results showed an average grade of 82.0 in the first cycle and 90.9 in the second cycle. Completeness of classical learning outcomes reached 82.34% in the first cycle and 94.12% in the second cycle.

This research is entitled “ effors to improve learning Outcomes and Student Activity on Physycs through Learning Model Discovery Learning Practicum Methode class XI-IPA SMAN 106 Jakarta. “ This research as a breakthrough in increasing creativity of learning management, base on the curriculum 2013. The prosess is directed to produce Indonesian people who are productive, creative, innovative, affective through strengthening integrated attiude, skills and knowledge. Thus the educators must improve the creativity of teaching methodes so that students are not bored and motivate student learning. Base on this discription, it is hope that the teacher is able to play role as on innovator through learning. This study uses a qualitative approach to optain data and analysis through reflective, participatory and collaborative studies. Program development is base on data and information from students, teachers and social setting naturally through twoncycles off classroom research, each of which is planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. To enhance the learning outcomes and student activities in learning physycs of action research, this class(CAR) presents Learning Guided Discovery learning Model Practicum Methode. This research was conducted at SMAN 106 Jakarta with two cycles. In the first cycle, some student are not familiar with the learning condition that use Learning Guided Discovery Learning Model Practicum Mthode. In the second cycle, progress has been seen in the learning process and student beging to creat learning condition that lead to learning approach of Learning Guided Discovery Learning Model Practicum Methode. From observations student activities increased from 45,14 % in the pre-cycle to 74,69% in cycle1 and 76,74 % in cycle 2. While the learning outcomes or daily assessment experienced an average increase of 66 in the pre-cycle assessment(before using the learning Guided Discovery Learning Model Practicum Methode) to 80,25 in the first cycle an average 84,06 in the 2 cycle. From this implemtation of Classroom Action Research(CAR), the first cycle, the second cycle can be concluded thad the Guided Discovery LearningModel Practicum Methode can improve learning outcomes and student activity in Physics learning at SMAN 106 Jakarta.

This research aims to find out the application of discovery learning models in increasing students' interest and learning outcomes in harmonic vibrational materials in MAN 4 Aceh Besar. The method in this study is quasi-experimentation with the design of a pretest-posttest control group. The instruments used are questionnaires and problems. The results showed that the average N-gain of student learning interest in the experimental class was 0.79 high category and control class 0.28 low category. The results of each experimental class indicator included a very positive category while the category control class was positive. Based on the results of the analysis of both classes, it can be concluded that the average interest in student learning in the experimental class is more increased than in the control class, especially on indicators of student engagement. The average N-gain result of student learning outcomes in the experimental class obtained a score of 0.61 moderate categories, then in the control class obtained a score of 0.35 medium category. Based on the test results, the average of the two classes obtained significance scores of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that there was a difference in the average learning outcome of students in experimental classes and control classes. This proves that the discovery learning model's application can improve students' learning outcomes higher than the discovery learning model in the control class. This study concludes that the application of discovery learning models can increase students' interest and learning outcomes in harmonic vibrational materials in MAN 4 Aceh Besar

The research aims to determine the effectiveness of discovery learning models assisted by puzzle mind maps on the activities and learning outcomes of the Structure and Function of Animal Tissue Materials. This research was conducted at SMAN 13 Semarang in the Odd Semester Academic Year 2018/2019. This research is a Quasi Experiment study with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this research were all students of Class XI MIPA of SMAN 13 Semarang. The sample used was Class XI MIPA 1 and XI MIPA 2 which was taken by purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the learning outcomes showed that there were no significant differences between the learning outcomes of the control class and the experimental class (sig. ˃ 0.05). Data on student activity obtained by observation and filling in questionnaire sheets showed that 100% of the experimental class students entered very active and active category, while in the control class showed that 89.3% of students entered were very active and active category. This shows that the experimental class is able to surpass the indicator ≥ 90% in the student activity. The conclusion is the application of discovery learning models assisted by puzzle mind map of the Structure and Function of Animal Tissue Materials effectively applied to increase student activity but not to improve learning outcomes.

The results of student mathematics learning in Indonesia are still relatively low, both at national and international levels. This is because in the learning process the teacher still uses theapproach teacher-centered. So that students are not optimal in developing their knowledge. Therefore, one learning model that can observe this needs to be pursued in a form of learning that is able to increase student activity and learning outcomes is one of thelearning models Guided Discovery Learning. The objectives of this study are (1) To compare the learning outcomes of students taught withmodels Guided Discovery Learning with student learning outcomes taught with conventional learning, (2) To find out the improvement in student learning outcomes taught withlearning models Guided Discovery Learning and ( 3) To find out the response of students after taking part in learning with thelearning model Guided Discovery Learning for students at Bandar Baru Middle School. The research method used was a type of Quasi Experiment with the type of control group pre-test post-test design. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of Bandar Baru Junior High School andsamples were taken, Random namely class VIII3 as the experimental class and VIII6 as the control class. Data collection uses learning outcomes tests, and student response questionnaires. Analysis of student learning outcomes data used t-test and N-gain while analysis of student response data was carried out through analysis of average score criteria. From the results of data processing it can be concluded that the learning outcomes learned usinglearning models Guided Discovery Learning are better than student learning outcomes taught with conventional learning, learning models Guided Discovery Learning can improve student learning outcomes and student responses to learning models Guided Discovery Learning very positive.
