This article reveals the process of forming the professional competence of university students. In conditions when the learning process becomes more and more formalized and depersonalized, the teacher should focus on clarifying the motivational sphere in order to form the most important cognitive motives in students. Motivational orientation influences not only the student's learning outcomes, but also changes the educational process itself. What is this influence - positive or negative, developing or standardizing, how universal and intense is it? The strength, effectiveness, form of influence, the predominance of certain functions are determined by the scientific and methodological guidance and management of the educational process by the teacher.

Distance education is essentially the basis for the development of educational institutions that provide innovative services, which cannot be obtained elsewhere. It is believed that distance education is a substitute for the traditional as part of simplifying and cheapening the learning process. At the same time, the leading global trends suggest the need for the development of elements of self-education and the expansion of the geographical nature of educational offers. The relevance of the study is that it is necessary to distinguish between the use of distance education methods in the traditional sphere and the sphere of training professionals. The paper presents the concept of the need to integrate elements of distance education in the process of preparing university teachers. The authors believe that teachers in drawing up courses and applying learning technologies use the same techniques as in distance learning. Therefore, the use of distance learning technologies can be shown as the basis for the development of advanced training programs and additional professional education. The authors proposed a study on the need and sufficiency of the use of distance education technologies and the possibilities for their integration into the process of postgraduate education. The practical significance of the work is determined by the fact that the possibilities of self-development of teachers are fully disclosed, not only as subjects of the educational process but also as subjects of training.

Most of the educational institutions in Ukraine were forced to switch to distance learning, which is why there arose the question about the availability of technical means to ensure the fullness of educational process. The article investigates modern systems of testing students' knowledge in the process of distance education. Currently, there are quite a few LMS (learning management systems) that can optimize the learning process of distance education. The works of scientists related to the problems of organizing effective learning and the complexity of the transition to distance learning are considered. This article assumes the method of testing not on-ly as a tool to assess the level and quality of learning, but also as a means to obtain recommen-dations for improving the learning process in the whole. Based on the results of the analysis, a comparative description was created and an assessment of the suitability for intermediate control of knowledge of primary and secondary school students, the most common at this stage of school distance learning online knowledge testing tools. Thus the advantages and disad-vantages of these tools are revealed. As a consequence the most universal systems that can fully provide the learning process in terms of distance education and the most convenient tools for assessing knowledge are identified.

The implementation of the round table in the training of vocational education teachers is a discussion process that speculates about a relevant topic requiring a comprehensive analysis. Modern conditions provide arrangements of round tables with their own specifics. The purpose of the article is to identify the effectiveness of holding round tables in students’ preparation in higher educational institutions. The article presents basic principles on which the technology of the round table is based, its ideas and essence, as well as the features of its holding. Education reform that follows the needs of all students, parents and employees in educational institutions would imply goal-oriented action. The practice that promotes a concept focused on the teaching content and which does not even announce the learning outcomes in the pedagogical records confirms that the student is not a subject of the educational process and that there is a possible gap between theory and practice. However, what if we see this realization as a possibility? If we started the analysis of the quality of practice orientations and “from the end,” we would determine the factual role of all those involved in the educational process without, possibly unnecessary, polar orientations “for and against”. The aim of this paper is to examine the orientation of the curriculum present in the practice of educational institutions in order to conclude about the pedagogical discourse as the basis for change. The paper first operationalizes the concepts with regard to the types of curriculum present in educational practice, and then empirically verifies the testing of the set hypotheses. The obtained research results show that all curriculum orientations are equally represented in educational practice; classroom and subject teachers do not differ in the implementation of the educational process according to the type of curriculum and the orientation to learning outcomes and teaching goals contribute to the explanation of the open and closed curriculum. The last part of the paper explains and critically discusses pedagogical discourse as an agent for changes in the field of educational practice quality based on initial reflections on the current focus on competencies as a pedagogical standard. The contribution to the research was given by 113 educators employed in primary schools by providing answers to the created e-Instrument for the purpose of the research.

Title: Communication Efficacy During Distance Learning Process (Online) The Coronavirus pandemic has been forcing us to avoid physical contact in the working field and educational institutions. We have to deal with many ostacles in this new learning and working environment, both technical and non-technical. Unstable internet connectivity and the financial challenge to provide online access for students at home are among the fundamental problems caused by this distance learning process. As a consequence of this study, material delivery and student’s comprehension are at risk. Based on these facts, lecturers and institutions must have proper/ better  planning strategies to increase learning outcomes in an academic program as a whole and each course for more aimed results. In an architecture department, studio courses are essential. One strategy example of dealing with today’s situation is a collaboration among 2-3 studio courses on the same level to enhance mutual achievement, creating better synergy between methods. This learning strategy’s objective is to make the learning process delivery more efficient and comprehensible to students.
