The paper first describes the main features of the project for vocational and educational guidance the author recently planned. The main aim of the project was to help students develop self guidance skills and overcome the difficulties they meet at school. The information system used in the project was based on the use of action research and social statistic strategies and calculations for the analysis of individual and population features. The paper then analyzes two recent events: a) the investigation the author carried out together with some teachers in Italian High Schools (Liceos) on an educational guidance action, and b) the elements of innovation introduced in the Italian School system by a recent Reform Law. Last, after a re-consideration of the initial project, the features of a new information system, to be used both for assessment and guidance (i.e., it includes an e-portfolio for skills and guidance), and the role that informing science can play in helping teachers, students and families are reported.

The study investigates the extent and characteristics of the phenomenon of Child Language Brokering (CLB) in the Italian school system, namely the linguistic mediation of foreign students for their relatives and the institutions of the host country. A questionnaire administrated to 347 students of 36 nationalities of two secondary high schools of Perugia, detected the characteristics of CLB, foreign students’ attitude towards their language and culture of origin and those of the host country, and their relationship with the mediation practices. After an introduction and an overview of the literature on CLB, paragraphs 3 and 4 describe the materials and methods used and the results obtained. Finally, conclusions concern the enhancement of CLB in an inclusive perspective.

The article discusses ways to obtain information about risk factors and the health status of the population. The article describes a new information system «labor Medicine», which allows to organize the collection of a wide range of data for further analysis and application in the activities of various Executive authorities, public organizations, foundations, legal entities and citizens. It is proposed to improve this system by expanding the types of information collected, creating a passport for health promotion organizations, as well as integration with systems that are being implemented in the Russian Federation for managing the health of the working-age population in the context of state policy in the field of Informatization.

The paper concentrates on researching the possibilities of using modern information technologies in animal production in order to monitor and identify behavior and well-being of cows. Having in mind the challenges related to managing dairy herds, and economic pressure put on breeders (as well as the broadly defined well-being of animals), an endeavor was made to create a new method, which would be competitive in comparison with the existing solutions. The proposed method of collecting data and data processing with beacon devices as well as data warehouse, allows—according to the authors—a more complete identification of behaviors and physiological condition of a dairy herd. It is also worth pointing out that this method is competitive in terms of price. By virtue of the multitude of data that were collected, a decision was made to resign from processing data on a local computer and use a cloud compute engine instead. The presented information system creates a sequence of components, which were subject to verification both on the level of creating and conducting research. Research results that were received were then compared with knowledge presented in the literature. A vital element of validation of the aforementioned methodology was comparing results that were achieved in the course of research work with the system making use of pedometer. The aim of the authors was to develop a new information technology solution, as well as a method based on beacons, which are rather universal devices, with the use of data warehouses, allowing the identification of behavior and physiological state of milk cattle, the method which would be competitive in comparison with the existing solutions, especially in terms of price. In the proposed solution, both information coming from microcomputers and weather forecast data coming from weather forecast stations, which make the above identification easy, were used as data sources.

Abstract: In the era of globalization, information systems are now increasingly developing and are very important and main things in helping the process of corporate performance, in the near future that will make competition in the performance process will be more updated and faster. Because of that the use of information technology and the design of making application programs using Visual Basic 6.0 as programing and MySQL as its database, regarding the analysis and design of information systems for inpatients in anal azimar maternity homes. Problems - problems faced by this company, namely the problem of data redundancy in inputting data, and not presented properly and lead to difficulties when manipulating, changing, and deleting data. Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the Integrated Management Information System Model, obstacles and strategies to overcome obstacles and to analyze their implementation in improving educational services in Vocational High Schools, Malang Regency. This study used a qualitative approach, data collection was carried out using interview, observation, and documentation techniques, the sampling method was purposive sampling, namely in three Vocational High Schools that had implemented an integrated management information system and research informants namely the principal, vice principal, head of governance business, teacher representatives and student representatives. The result of this research is an integrated management information system model in SMK Malang Regency using the Master-Web application which is implemented in the curriculum, student affairs, public relations, finance, workforce, and counseling sections. The information generated can be accessed by the principal and used as material for decision making to improve the quality of the school. The obstacles are some human resources who do not master IT, are not disciplined in inputting data, lack of care, lack of infrastructure, and weak system security. Keywords: Integrated management information system model; education services; SMK Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan Model Sistem Informasi Manajemen terpadu, hambatan dan strategi mengatasi hambatan serta menganalisis implementasinya dalam meningkatkan layanan pendidikan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, metode pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling, yaitu di tiga SMK yang telah mengimplementasikan sistem informasi manajemen terpadu dan informan penelitian yaitu kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, kepala tata usaha, perwakilan guru dan perwakilan siswa. Hasil penelitian adalah Model sistem informasi manajemen terpadu di SMK Kabupaten Malang menggunakan aplikasi Master-Web yang diimplementasikan di bagian kurikulum, kesiswaan, hubungan masyarakat, keuangan, ketenagaan, dan bimbingan konseling. Informasi yang dihasilkan dapat diakses oleh kepala sekolah dan digunakan sebagai bahan pengambilan keputusan untuk meningkatkan mutu sekolah. Hambatannya adalah beberapa SDM yang tidak menguasai IT, tidak disiplin dalam menginput data, kurang peduli, kurangnya sarana prasarana, dan lemahnya keamanan sistem.
