The standard yield model recommended for land assessment and certification of land according to the degree of suitability for agricultural use is based on the assessment of agro-ecological potential (AP) as characteristics of the territory 's water and thermal resources. The quality check of the model according to the data of the class testing areas for the period 2007-2018 showed an overestimation of the standard grain yield for the conditions of the Saratov region by 1.2-1.5 times. The error is due to the use of the most available agro climatic parameters in the model, which establish their connection with productivity at the interregional level, but do not meet the conditions of adequate differentiation of conditions of moisture supply of crops at the regional level. Correction of the AP model, when using the parameters of water and thermal resources provision by the coefficients of annual moistening and the sum of biologically active temperatures, is achieved by reducing the AP level by 1.2 times and fixing the standard value of the climate continental index - 187. A new version of estimated zoning is proposed based on the corrected model of AP, at which the number of agro climatic subzones is reduced from 9 to 6. The adequacy of the assessment of land productivity is ensured by the use of AP parameters that are individual for municipal areas rather than medium-sized ones.

The analysis of the current state of processing of secondary raw materials of wine-making in Ukraine is given. It is proved that the latter is a rich source of biologically active compounds, including phenolic ones, which makes it possible to use it for the production of a wide range of products (raccoon, polyphenol extracts, tartaric acid, beverages, fertilizers, grape oil, cake, vitamin D, animal feed, food powder, abrasives) with high consumer value for various industries: food, pharmaceutical, perfume and cosmetics, chemical, feed, etc. In the light of modern research, the role of phenolic compounds as essential nutrition factors that cannot remain out of the field of view of physiologists, pharmacologists, and food hygiene specialists is shown. However, currently in Ukraine there are no specialized enterprises for complex processing of secondary raw materials of winemaking; traditional technologies are not effective from a technological, economic and environmental point of view, which indicates not rational use of resources and loss of material resources; there are no systematic studies on physical and chemical, microbiological, Toxicological composition in order to determine the optimal direction of its use. A limiting factor is also the lack of comparative analysis of innovative domestic and foreign technologies for processing secondary raw materials of winemaking. In the vast majority of cases, in particular, combs and pomace are taken out of control to agricultural land without special treatment, which leads to acid soil erosion and pollution of the environment with metabolites of micromycetes, increasing one of the global problems of mankind-environmental. At the present stage of technological development, there are a number of innovative developments in the field of processing secondary raw materials, in particular grape pomace, in order to obtain biologically active additives, the limiting factor for the introduction of which is the lack of domestic and expensive imported equipment. A promising way to solve the existing problems is to create a mechanism that will unite the interests of wineries (producers of secondary raw materials of winemaking), processing enterprises (producers of products from secondary raw materials of winemaking), scientists and potential consumers of innovative products. Consolidation of the above-mentioned institutions and enterprises is possible by creating clusters for the development and implementation of innovative technologies and equipment

Abstrak. Seiring terjadinya penyimpangan penggunaan lahan sangat sering terjadi terhadap rencana tata ruang wilayah (RTRW). Daerah pinggiran kota merupakan wilayah yang banyak mengalami perubahan penggunaan lahan terutama perubahan penggunaan lahan pertanian menjadi non pertanian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perubahan penggunaan lahan pertanian di Kabupaten Aceh Selatan tahun 2013 dengan tahun 2017 dan menganalisis keselarasan penggunaan lahan pertanian eksisting tahun 2017 dengan pola ruang Kabupaten Aceh Selatan tahun 2013-2033. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan teknik survai. Sedangkan analisis data spasial menggunakan SIG dengan konsep extract, overlay dan intersect. Hasil kajian menunjukkan hasil koreksi pada pengunaan lahan pertanian tahun 2013 dengan tahun 2017 didapatlah luas penggunaan lahan pertanian yang telah beralih fungsi seluas 8.041,56 ha, yang mana pada lahan sawah seluas 3.680,30 ha dan pada pertanian lahan kering seluas 4.361,26 ha. Penggunaan lahan pertanian yang telah beralih fungsi tersebut telah menjadi berbagai macam penggunaan lahan lainnya yang tersebar di seluruh Kabupaten Aceh Selatan, penggunaan lahan pertanian yang selaras dengan rencana pola ruang memiliki luas 36.293,85 ha (91,30%), penggunaan lahan yang tidak selaras yaitu Penggunaan lahan eksisting tidak selaras dengan rencana pola ruang seluas 1.513,53 ha (3,81%), dan belum terlaksana atau belum terealisasi terhadap lahan pertanian yang direncanakan terhadap pola ruang atau masih dapat berubah sesuai dengan rencana pola ruang seluas 6.711,08  ha (14,44 %). Analysis of Functional Land Distribution of Agriculture in District Aceh SelatanAbstract. Absorption of deviation of land use is very frequent to spatial planning (RTRW). Suburban areas are areas that have undergone many changes in land use due to changes in agricultural land use to non-agricultural use. This research was conducted for 2013 with 2017 and analysis of existing agricultural land use in 2017 with South Aceh Regency spatial pattern year 2013-2033. The method used in this research is descriptive method with survey technique. While spatial data analysis using GIS concept with overlay and intersect concept. The results showed that agricultural land in 2013 with the year 2017 obtained the wide use of agricultural land that has a function conversion of 8,041.56 ha, which in the rice field area of 3,680.30 ha and on dry land of 4,361.26 ha. The use of converted agricultural land into various land uses scattered throughout the District of South Aceh, different use of agricultural land with plans of wide spatial pattern 36,29,85 ha (91,30%), land use that is not aligned Land use the existing is not aligned with the plan of the pattern of the space of 1,513.53 ha (3.81%), and has not been realized or not yet realized on agricultural land that allows the pattern of space can be changed in accordance with the Plan of Space Pattern covering 6,711,08 ha (14,44%).

Thailand is located between 5°30' and 20°30'N latitudes and between 97°30' and 105°30'E longitudes. Geographically, the country can be divided into northern, northeastern, central, and southern regions. Most of the country experiences distinct wet and dry climates, except some parts of the southern region, which experience a wet and humid climate. Of the country’s total area (514,000 km2), 41% is under agricultural use (Office of Agricultural Economics, 1999) with 92% of it being rainfed. Drought normally occurs during the hot season (March–April) and sometimes during dry season (November–April) due to inadequate rains. In recent times, the occurrence of drought has increased in Thailand, threatening sustainability of agricultural production. According to Department of Local Administration (1998), droughts of varying intensity occur in 67 out of 76 provinces of Thailand almost every year. During the period from 1987 to 1997, drought impacted a total of 5.44 million ha of agricultural land, causing $1.4 billion in losses. Droughts of varying intensity or severity occur in different regions of Thailand. A drought is categorized as severe, moderate, slight, or none drought using a radiative index (RI) determined during the rainy season (May– October). The RI for a region is determined using the number of rainy days, percentage of irrigated area, groundwater availability, topography, land use, soil, drainage density, and watershed size. If RI ranges from 1.0 to 1.2 for 15 consecutive days for a region or area, the region is said to be affected by slight drought. If RI exceeds 1.2 for 30 consecutive days, the region is considered to be affected by moderate drought, and if RI exceeds 1.0 for more than 30 consecutive days, severe drought is said to have occurred in the region. Using these criteria, the percentage of area affected by different drought categories has been determined in Thailand. It can be observed from table 25.1 that the northeastern region is the most droughtprone in Thailand. A drought index, D, is also used to monitor drought conditions in Thailand.

Nearly every village in Central and Eastern European countries with heavily collectivized agriculture has its collective farm premises that encompass substantial parts of the village area, were built in the sixties, and now are unable to be used in former ways. The aim of the paper is to identify indicators that are relevant for spatial disparities in the utilization of agricultural premises thirty years after the fall of the Iron Curtain. The location and its area of all pre-1989 rural farm premises within two NUTS 3 regions of the Czech Republic with its current uses were identified, and differences in present uses were tested against agri-natural and socio-economic characteristics (of the municipalities where rural farm premises are located) obtained from national databases. From a global point of view, socio-economic characteristics of municipalities were found to be exceedingly more important than agri-natural—thus, changing of uses is rather dependent on socio-economic context than on geographical preconditions of agriculture. Surprisingly, agricultural use or re-use can be primarily found in municipalities not suitable for intensive agriculture located in the fodder crops and potatoes areas of agricultural production with the highest shares of permanent grassland on agricultural land. On the other hand, areas with the best preconditions for agriculture tend to re-use former farm premises for non-agricultural production.

A use-value assessment tax requires a system by which agricultural land values may be established. Land value in agricultural use can in principle be determined from the land's income-generating ability. The value of agricultural land can be based upon the capitalized income stream, which implies that net income attributable to land resource, or more theoretically, its value of the marginal product, can be capitalized into economic value. A major weakness in the process of determining net returns to land is the requirement that returns to other production inputs can be determined accurately. To be exact, the marginal productivity of every input must be known.

<p>Innovative, sustainable and cost-effective coastal protection solutions are required to adapt to environmental change and enhance ecosystem functioning. Managed realignment is an example of an ecosystem engineering coastal management approach motivated by concerns about biological conservation and sea-level rise. It involves relocating the line of defense landward, thereby mimicking what would normally happen with marine environments during a period of sea-level rise. The retreat allows new salt marshes to develop offering a range of ecosystem services. Despite the ongoing execution of managed realignment projects in, amongst others, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Spain, it remains unclear whether management realignment is able to deliver on the expected socio-economic and environmental benefits.</p><p>Here we report on the short-term (0-4 years) development of physical and ecological processes of the Perkpolder managed realignment area in the Scheldt estuary, the Netherlands, following tidal restoration in 2015. The overarching goal of the Perkpolder project was to realize 75 hectares of low-dynamic tidal nature contributing to Natura2000 conservation goals for the Western Scheldt estuary as well as serving as a compensation measure for the extension of the navigation channel for the Antwerp harbor.</p><p>The Perkpolder managed realignment is considered a unique opportunity to monitor and study the biotic and abiotic changes in an area transforming from a freshwater agricultural area to a tidal saline natural area. An interdisciplinary monitoring framework was set up to record the abiotic and biotic developments of the Perkpolder realignment area, particularly focusing on morphological changes, colonization of the new tidal area by benthic macrofauna and vegetation, and its function as foraging area for water birds. Also the groundwater system is studied and its effect on the surrounding agricultural land.</p><p>A mitigation measure, called ‘SeepCat’, was installed on the border of the new tidal area and the agricultural land to protect the freshwater lens used by farmers for irrigation. The lens was expected to shrink by this local sea level rise. From the groundwater measurements, it was concluded that the SeepCat system was functioning well enough to compensate for the effects of the new tidal area.</p><p>Using a Delft3D numerical model simulation, it was shown that the design of the morphological template has a large impact on the rates of morphological change. Additionally, the sediment import, estimated from SPM concentration and discharge measurements, varied strongly in time, and sediment was also being exported for a number of tides. Controlled laboratory experiments show that seedlings of pioneer marsh plant species survive best in a well-drained soil without sediment dynamics. Yet, seedlings can tolerate some moderate sediment dynamics. From a benthic community perspective, the development of the managed realignment Perkpolder is encouraging. A biologically active intertidal area has formed within a short time frame. Within 3 years, the benthic macroinfaunal community shows a development towards a community found on natural tidal mudflats and is expected to reach a stable community in years rather than decades. The area is also frequently visited by birds, which forage during low tide and rest on the surrounding dikes during high tide.</p>

The research of forest cover development on agricultural lands in the Perm Prikamye was carried the example of taiga and forest-steppe types of landscapes. The Babkinsko-Yugovskoy and Irensko-Kungursky landscapes were select for research. Received information about the geosystem condition in different years using remote sensing data. All landscape changes were record during the formed stable snow cover. As a result, was divide into two classes - forested and treeless areas. Established, the main natural factors of land differentiation by an areas and a pace of withdrawal from agricultural use are the small contours of agricultural land and differences in soil fertility. The growth pace of forest geosystems within the forest-steppe landscape was 2.5 times higher than of the taiga. The research of the dynamics of forest cover showed that in the Perm Prikamye in the forest-steppe landscape substitution of anthropogenic geosystems with natural-anthropogenic ("wild") accompanied by the development of forest biogeocenosis, not steppe.

Abstract The aim of this paper was to analyze reasons and a range of changes in agricultural land areas due to allocation them for non-agricultural purposes across a period of 1990-2015 in Poland. This phenomena has not been sufficiently considered till now. Lack of this knowledge does not allow effective reduction of the decline of agricultural land by appropriate legislation and administrative action, especially on urban areas. In Poland, a significant proportion of agricultural land is allocated annually for non-agricultural purposes, which is connected with their permanent withdrawal from agricultural production. The permanent decline in the area of agricultural land in the country has been observed since the beginning of the systemic transformation. The dominant direction of the land withdrawal for non-agricultural purposes is their allocation to housing construction. In 1995 the Law on the protection of agricultural and forest land was introduced. This law includes strengthened economic tools for the protection of agricultural land in the form of mandatory charges for the withdrawal of agricultural land showing the best soil quality. This has led to a significant reduction in agricultural land use withdrawal. However, accelerated regional development following the accession of Poland to the EU and, then, the need to expand technical infrastructure resulted in several amendments to the 1995 Act, significantly weakened the protection of agricultural and forest land. It seems that the land as the unrepeatable good should be strictly covered by more respect and protection than ever before, especially in areas with the highest production value.

In the context of the state policy of import substitution and the development of the export potential of the domestic agro-industrial complex, the importance of agricultural land is increasing. In Russia, it is possible to increase their area due to the involvement in the active economic turnover of unused agricultural land. The scientific study had analysed the quantity of agricultural land, the causes of crises in land management and the views of scientists on how to overcome the crisis, and an assessment of State action to return land to agricultural use. It was concluded that it is necessary to identify and implement the most effective forms and methods of state support, as well as strengthen regional financial support for agricultural producers involved in the involvement of unused land in agricultural turnover. An analysis of federal targeted programs to preserve agricultural land and increase its productivity has shown a high level of effectiveness. In order to make informed decisions on the involvement of land in turnover and to predict the improvement of its condition and use, the creation of a single digital platform combining disparate data of different departments on the state of land, their quality characteristics, legal status is important.
