Objectives. A set of theoretical, methodological and practical approaches to the development of strategic planning of corporate activities in the transition to a digital technological system. Methods. The application of a comprehensive scientific approach is based on a combination of General scientific and special research methods: retrospective, system analysis and synthesis, comparison and generalization, and evolutionary. Results. As the analysis of existing approaches to the definition of the digital economy has shown, there is still no consensus on the definition and content of this term, which leads to problems in identifying the elements that are included in it. The development of strategic planning in the digital economy determines the specifics of the planning process, the choice of appropriate methods and their implementation. A model of the enterprise strategic planning digitalization platform is proposed, reflecting the most significant subsystems, which can be modified taking into account the specifics of the company's actions in the external environment, as well as based on the competitive advantages of the internal environment and the relationship of the leading structural elements. Conclusions and Relevance. Companies in the new business environment need new approaches to strategic planning that take into account current management aspects. The introduction of digital technologies will maximize the use of information technology resources in order to increase the productivity and financial performance of corporations. The process of managing the company's strategy using digital technologies allows you to conduct operational control over revenues and expenses, optimize inventory. The development of strategic planning of enterprises should be synchronized with the corresponding improvement of the regulatory framework. The identified features of the formation of indicators of companies ' competitiveness, as well as the scheme of digitalization of the platform for strategic planning of their activities can be recommended for use in the practice of corporate financial management, long- term financial planning and budgeting.

Subject. The article investigates the specifics of strategic financial planning of enterprise operations in conditions of digitalization processes, as well as the introduction of advanced technologies in all spheres of social and economic life. It determines unique opportunities for company development in the international market. Objectives. The study aims at reviewing a set of economic relations and problems emerging in the process of strategic financial planning of enterprise performance in the digital economy, and developing recommendations to improve the financial strategic planning of economic entities. Methods. We employ methods of economic analysis and synthesis, and comparison. The paper rests on works by academic economists on the problems of finance, financial management, and planning. Results. We investigated the most important features and problems of strategic financial planning of enterprises in the digital economy, and how the digital era increases the level of competition of participants for economic dominance. Identified features of financial strategic planning of the corporation's activities in the digital economy are recommended for use in the corporate management system of an industrial enterprise. Conclusions. Improving the strategic management process is a stage of transformations in the digital economy. Enterprises create new priorities through using management models. At the same time, the role of fixed assets is reduced, and intangible assets and information accelerate the business. The effectiveness of company operations is often determined by the availability of accurate and timely information that reflects the necessary aspects of financial and economic practice.

The article is devoted to the topical issue of the strategic development of the enterprise in the digital economy. The advantages of enterprises that use the results of the digital economy in their activities have been established. The main characteristics of the digital economy are determined, approaches to the definition of terms are investigated. The state of profitability of Ukrainian enterprises by industry is analyzed on the basis of statistical data. Based on the results of the analysis of statistical data, it was determined that in the conditions of the pandemic and quarantine of the last two years, most sectors of the economy suffered losses. Only those industries that were vital and those that use modern information and digital technologies had a positive financial result of their activities. These calculations showed that it is fundamentally important to introduce digital technologies at enterprises in various sectors of the economy. The article lists the main seven stages of introducing digital technologies into the management activities of enterprises. The above stages of introducing digital technologies into the activities of enterprises are used both for general strategic transformations at enterprises, and for individual management functions. It also reflects the main benefits of introducing digital technologies into strategic planning and profit management in enterprises. The main obstacles that may arise during the implementation of digital technologies are highlighted, among which the main one is associated with the human factor. It is also indicated in the article that almost all enterprises in their activities can start with the introduction of technologies for working with big data, which allow to efficiently process large volumes of information, analyze it and make management decisions based on the results. An analysis of modern research in the field of digital technologies implementation showed that digital technologies are necessary not only in the current activities of an enterprise, but also in strategic and management functions, especially in planning and managing the company's profit.

Today feature of economic processes in Ukraine is the transition from “traditional” to the digital economy with the latest technology. The study of the current state of the digital economy indicates that most Ukrainian companies don’t have a clear vision of the process and quality examples of the transition to the use of digital technologies yet. This is significantly impedes the fulfillment of key priorities and directions for the implementation of state policy in the digital economy in Ukraine. Therefore, businesses need to develop strategies based digital transformation minimization of risks is not possible without ensuring digital security, based on functional components that determine the effectiveness and efficiency of management mechanism. The purpose of the article is to formulate the author’s approach to determining the digital security of the enterprise and priority areas of its implementation. The article defines the strategic approach of the features of digital transformation and the problematic issues that hinder the revision of the business strategy of most Ukrainian enterprises. A methodological approach to the definition of “digital enterprise security” is proposed – it is the security of the functional components of the enterprise in the course of economic activity in the conditions of digitalization and competition; measures and methods aimed at minimizing the external and internal risks of e-business, as well as ensuring the security of functional components. The main purpose of the enterprise digital security is to ensure the stable functioning of the business with further development in the future, which is based on the structure of its functional components. The mechanism for implementation of digital security of the enterprise is defined, which includes: regulatory legislation, basic principles, subjects of guarantee and mechanism of security, as well as objects. A mechanism for digital security has been created, which will allow to gradually develop effective management decisions in the enterprise development strategy. The main reasons hampering the process of digital transformation of Ukraine’s economy are: the undeveloped state regulatory framework for regulating the process of building the digital economy, uncertainty about the nature of interaction of participants in this process, as well as issues of development of digital technologies in order to increase the level of competitiveness, entrepreneurship and innovation. In view of the above, we consider it expedient to take the following measures in the conditions of digital transformation: to legally define the concept of “digital security of an enterprise”, its functional components, objects and entities involved in the mechanism of strategy implementation; to help encourage businesses to transition to new business models through collaborations in digital security. The development of the market economy at the present stage is characterized by the mass use of technologies of the fourth industrial revolution in key areas of activity of organizations and individual entrepreneurs. The article considers the impact of the digital economy on the development of industrial holdings in the Russian Federation. When implementing digital technologies, industrial holdings may face financial and production risks. To minimize these risks, the heads of industrial holdings need to carefully plan the process of digitalization of an industrial holding. The most promising method of planning is the system of corporate roadmaps of an industrial holding. Currently, roadmaps are actively used in all spheres of the economy. Road mapping technologies can be used to solve various tasks of an industrial holding. The paper provides an overview of the existing approaches of Russian and foreign economists to understanding the roadmap. The author’s definition of the industrial holding’s roadmap is proposed, taking into account the main provisions of the digital economy. The main functions and goals of roadmaps in Russian industrial holdings are systematized. The study describes the existing types of road maps. The main advantages of using the roadmap by industrial holdings of the Russian Federation are determined. The key disadvantages of using road maps are identified on the basis of the graph method. The object of the study is the industrial holdings of the Russian Federation. The subject of the research is the development of an algorithm for the roadmap for the introduction of digital technologies into the activities of an industrial holding. The methodological features of the algorithm for creating the roadmap of an industrial holding are determined. The research methods used include analysis and synthesis, the method of logic, description and modeling.

Subject. The article examines the laws regulating insider trading. Objectives. The study outlines recommendations for refining Law On Countering the Illegal Use of Insider Information and Market Manipulation and Amendments to Some Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation, № 224-ФЗ of July 27, 2010. Methods. The methodological framework includes a general dialectical method, analysis and synthesis, induction and deductions, and some specific methods, such as comparative and formal logic analysis to specify the definition of insider information, structural logic and functional analysis to improve the mechanism for countering insider trading and market manipulation. Results. We discovered key drawbacks to be addressed so as to improve the business environment in Russia. Although the Russia laws mainly mirror the U.S. laws, they present a more extended list of terms concerning the insider information. I believe the legislative perfection should be continued. Conclusions and Relevance. The study helps apply the findings to outline a new legislative regulation or amend the existing ones, add a new mention on the course of financial markets to students’ books, develop new methods for detecting and countering and improving the existing ones. If all parties to insider relationships use the findings, they will prevent insider trading crimes in financial markets and (or) reduce the negative impact of such crimes on the parties.

The paper examines various approaches to the definition of the term «digital economy» in the scientific and business environment along with factors and forms of its development in different countries taking into account the specifics of the current stage of the Russian economy, which is a matter of particular importance in seeking new sources of the world economy growth. The subject of the research is opportunities and threats inherent in the process of digitalization of economies and their impact on the operation of international and national markets as well as the development of the world economy as a whole. The purpose of the paper was to analyze the practical experience in the formation and development of the digital economy in foreign countries and Russia and identify the changes it brings to the activities of state institutions and business structures, established rules of market exchange, the process of promotion and use of innovations. All the above made it possible to determine the country-level specifics of the digital economy evolution reveal the contradictory nature of its manifestations and justify the necessity for active participation of the state in stimulation and support of potentially promising digital innovations in various sectors of the economy. It is concluded that the level of the digital economy development depends on the real-sector performance, the maturity of markets, the state of the national economy. It is highlighted that the criteria for a comprehensive assessment of the results of the economy digitalization must be developed.

This paper discusses the implementation of digital technologies in the production sector and business processes of agricultural enterprises in Russia. Implementation of digitalization into the economic entities’ business activity is necessary in order not only to increase the speed of their functioning several times, but also to open up new, broader opportunities for their development in the future. Currently, in the Russian Federation, the main leaders in the development of digital technologies are, first of all, IT companies, as well as organizations operating in the field of media, finance and insurance. The level of digitalization in the real sector of the economy is significantly lower, while the agricultural sector is in last place for this indicator. This article reflects the prerequisites for the development of the digital economy in the world, which include the automation of production technologies and business processes, as well as penetration into the social sphere of the countries of the global Internet and mobile communications. The author considered a number of interpretations of the concept of “digital economy”, of which, in her opinion, the most rational version of the definition of the term under consideration was selected. Within the framework of the study, the prerequisites for the effective implementation of innovative technologies in the economic and social spheres of enterprises’ activities were determined, and the main factors and conditions for the developing digital system of a particular country were established. In the presented work, the author identified a number of modern key problems that significantly impede the introduction of digital technologies in the production and economic activities of economic entities of Russia, especially in the field of agriculture. At the same time, quite popular and widespread advanced technologies are indicated, which are currently being successfully implemented in promising agricultural organizations of the country. With regard to the branches of agriculture in Russia, namely crop and livestock breeding, the most expedient areas for the introduction of advanced digital technologies into the business processes of agricultural enterprises are presented.

The main stages of creative career of professor of Saint Petersburg State University Valery Viktorovich Kovalev (1948–2020), who restored the national school of accounting study which treated the balance sheet as a financial model of the company, are shown. The paper characterizes the specifics of the Soviet school of analysis of economic activities of enterprises formed by the start of Perestroika in the USSR. The scope of the methodological tasks placed before accountant theorists by new business environment in the conditions of the development of post-Soviet economy in Russia is shown. The paper reveals the methodological basis of the methods, suggested by V.V. Kovalev, of analysis of accounting reporting of legally independent business entity in the conditions of market economy, as synthesis of the developments of national accountants of the early 20th century and conceptual framework of English-American school of corporate finance of the late 20th century. The relation of the content of the works by Kovalev to the provisions made by A.P. Rudanovsky (1863–1931) is characterized. The paper presents the influence of several personal qualities of professor Kovalev as a researcher on the development of his ideas ranging from the set of indicators of dynamic analysis of accounting reporting to a new national school of financial management which united the concepts of the Continental European and English-American accounting traditions for the first time. The paper characterizes educational activities of V.V. Kovalev in the 1990s and reveals the content of his works regarding the history of financial science. The success of Kovalev as a propagandist of accounting as science is explained.

Rational strategic planning has long been used as an instrument to improve financial performance. With the increasing complexity of the business environment, this positive impact has decreased. As a result, there have been several calls for more work focusing on investigating and understanding the strategic planning process and how it affects financial performance. Many recent studies suggest that a rational approach to strategic planning should be combined with an adaptive approach to build a hybrid approach that is better suited to the current dynamic and complex environment. The purpose of this research is to examine how a strategic planning process that combines rational characteristics and adaptive characteristics improves financial performance. To this end, this study develops and empirically tests a conceptual model, using a quantitative study of 335 European organizations. A combined strategic planning process has a positive impact on financial performance, through the mediators of employee strategic alignment and organizational capabilities.
