Some studies reported that myopia especially high myopia has long axial length. This condition showed with higher intraocular pressure (IOP) and become one of the risk factor of primary open angle glaucoma. However, some other studies reported axial length and degree of myopia don’t have any correlation with intraocular pressure. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between the axial length of the eyeball and the degree of myopia with intraocular pressure at Sumatera Eye Center (SMEC), Samarinda. This study began on November to Desember 2019. This research method was analytic research with cross sectional design. The sample in this study was 91 eyes using a purposive sampling technique. Analyzes were performed with the Pearson Correlation test. The result showed the age of IOP increased at 31, 32, and 33 years old, respectively 1 eye. Pearson correlation test showed that IOP did not seem to have any correlation with the axial length, low myopia and high degree of myopia. But, IOP have correlation with moderate myopia (r=0,019).

(1) Background: The appearance and progression of carious lesions represent a complex phenomenon of interactions of microbial factors (the action of bacteria on the tooth), of the factors related to the host, to the diet, and to the time factor. Which hasan influence on the rate of microbismof the oral cavity on the installation of carious disease? (2) Methods: In order to correctly assess the cariogenic risk of an individual, it is recommended to perform twoor more tests based on different principles (microbiological, clinical, epidemiological). The representative data series for the investigation were analyzed statistically and by applying the Pearson correlation test considering the coefficient of determination R for all pairs of data series. (3) Results: Salivary tests played animportant role in establishing control sessions, in carrying out prophylactic caries therapy, and establishing prognosis. The existence of a statistical associationwas confirmed between the prevalence of dental caries and the results of salivary tests for the study group. (4) Conclusions: The results of the saliva tests can be used in oral health promotion.

Abstract. Buses are considered as an important type of feeder model for urban metro systems. It is important to understand the integration of buses and metro systems for promoting public transportation. Using smart card data generated by automatic fare collection systems, we aim at exploring the characteristics of bus-and-metro integration. Taking Shanghai as a case study, we first introduced a rule-based method to extract metro trips and bus-and-metro trips from the raw smart card records. Based on the identified trips, we conducted three analyses to explore the characteristics of bus-and-metro integration. The first analysis showed that 46% users have at least two times of using buses to access metro stations during five weekdays. By combining the ridership of metro and bus-and-metro, the second analysis examined how the share of buses as the feeder mode change across space and time. Results showed that the share of buses as the feeder mode in morning peak hours is much larger than in afternoon peak hours, and metro stations away from the city center tend to have a larger share. Pearson correlation test was employed in the third analysis to explore the factors associated with the ratios of bus-and-metro trips. The metro station density and access metro duration are positively associated with the ratios. The number of bus lines around 100 m to 400 m of metro stations all showed a negative association, and the coefficient for 200 m is the largest. In addition, the temporal differences of the coefficients also suggest the importance of a factor might change with respect to different times. These results enhanced our understanding of the integration of buses and metro systems.

It was researched on the application of Anoda Heel Effect (AHE) with a step wedge on the effect of Signal To Noise Ratio (SNR) on Computed Radiography (CR) has been carried out. This research was conducted on a 21 step wedge with two treatments, namely the application of AHE and without the application of AHE. This measurement is repeated three times on radiographs to obtain a total image of six images (without the application of AHE as many as three images and with the application of AHE as many as three images). The results of taking radiographs using AHE and without AHE were measured using the RadiAnt Dicom Viewer program. The SNR value on the step wedge image without the AHE application has an average of 26.89. The SNR value on the step wedge image using AHE is 60.54. The results of the correlation test (Pearson correlation test) on the SNR showed that there was a significant and very strong effect of the application of AHE on the step wedge on the SNR in CR (p-value <0.001 and the R-value ranging from 0.600 to 0.799).
