Through education, it is hoped that future generations will have the skills, talents, and attitudes of quality that can respond to competition in the age of globalization. In order to increase the quality of learning, the innovative leadership of school principals has a significant role to play.The goal of this study was to explain the principal's vision of improving the standard of learning and the barriers to visionary leadership at SMA Negeri 1 BabatSupat. In this research, through questionnaire, evaluation and observation, using qualitative approaches and data collection techniques. Data analysis used data reduction, data presentation and vehicle analysis in this research Conclusion or verification. The authenticity of creditable, transferable, defensible and verifiable data the findings showed that : (1) The principal's vision of enhancing the standard of learning at SMA Negeri 1 BabatSupat is to realize: "The realization of Indonesian people with character, achievement, competitive and friendly insight" (2) Students succeed in academic and non-academic fields through the vision introduced by the principal. (3) The quality of learning through the leadership vision of the principal has guided school staff, especially educators, in the preparation of lesson plans according to the 2013 curriculum and the implementation of learning as a learning resource using current learning media in schools.(4) The challenges faced by the innovative leadership of the principal in enhancing the quality of learning in terms of the quality of teachers in learning are as follows: (1) lack of facilities for learning services that teachers can use in schools; (2) there are still some teachers who do not have teacher certificates, i.e. as many as 6 PNS teachers out of 17 current PNS teachers.

This study aims to determine the principal's leadership in improving the quality of SMP IT Nurul Fadhillah, the constraints of the principal's leadership in improving the quality of schools at SMP IT Nurul Fadhilah, and the principal's efforts to improve the quality of schools at SMP IT Nurul Fadhilah. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach and the techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study were the principal and teachers. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Ensuring the validity of research data uses credibility, transfibility, dependability and conformability. The results of this research are the principal's leadership in improving the quality of education by caring for subordinates, assertiveness, democracy, and supervision. The obstacles faced by school principals in improving the quality of schools are the lack of educational facilities and infrastructure. As for the efforts made by the principal in improving the quality of education, namely developing teacher competence, meeting the needs of school stakeholders and getting used to working together in overcoming problems.

The goals of this study are to; 1) analyze Madrasah principals' innovative leadership strategies in improving the quality of education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Abrar Makassar City and 2) assess the efficacy of Madrasah principals' visionary leadership in developing the quality of education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Abrar Makassar City. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Sources of research data are the principal, the head of the foundation and the Ibtidaiyah Al-Abrar teachers in Makassar City. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The approach taken is phenomenological. The data analysis of this study used qualitative methods, with data analysis carried out by steps, data reduction, data display, and 3) data verification. The data validity test is past due to source triangulation to test the validity of data. The results showed that the visionary leadership strategy of the headmaster of madrasah in developing the quality of education of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Abrar in Makassar City, includes a) Looking to the future seen in the vision initiated, b) Able to formulate a clear vision, seen in the vision elaboration that refers to the vision madrasah, c) Able to change the vision into action, seen in the formulation of the mission and the exemplary attitude of the principal of the madrasah performance.

The use of blended learning in foreign language instruction such as French has been widely practiced by teachers in many countries, including Indonesia. As French for Indonesian is somehow not an easy subject to learn, the blended learning has not been widely implemented. In this regard, the aim of this study was to investigate whether there could be an improvement in the quality of learning when blended learning in French Intermediate Grammar courses for Indonesian was applied. An embedded mixed method design consisting of quantitative and qualitative approaches was used to analyse the collected data in this research, where the main method was quasi-experiment using the pretest-posttest design.  This study was conducted in one semester in seven synchronization activities. Data were collected by tests, questionnaires and observation sheets from 37 students taking French intermediate grammar course as the research respondents. The tests were reliable (Alpha Cronbach = .925). Moreover, the results showed that there were significant improvements among students, thus suggesting that blended learning can maximize the quality of learning (sig. < .05). The qualitative data informs that students were more independent in developing their creativity, autonomy and innovation in managing blended learning, hence the learning outcome was achieved.

Education is one of the universal activities in human life, wherever there is society, there is education too. Many countries admit that the problem of education is a complicated problem, but all feel that education is a very important task of the State, a nation that wants to progress, build, and try to improve the condition of society and the world, of course, state that education is the key, and without the key their efforts will failed. The objectives of this research which are to be achieved are: (1) To determine the implementation of supervision techniques in an effort to improve teacher performance at SMP Negeri 2 Jerowaru . (2) To determine the impact of supervision to the improved performance tacher SMP Negeri 2 Jerowaru. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research methods , data collection techniques using interview techniques , observation, and documentation. To obtain data in the field , interviews were conducted with the supervisors and teachers of Jerowaru State Junior High School . The data analysis technique used is the Hubermen and Miells method, namely data reduction, data presentation, and verification or conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that in the implementation of the supervision technique, several methods are used, namely, individual techniques and group techniques . Based on these results, intensive coaching efforts are needed in increasing the competence of teachers, school principals, and school supervisors to achieve quality education, starting from improving the quality of the learning process which will ultimately improve the quality of graduates at all types and levels of education.

This study aims to determine the effect of school committee performance on improving the quality of educational learning and principal leadership on Islamic learning. This study uses quantitative methods because the research data is in the form of numbers and the analysis uses statistics. The variables in this study are the contribution of the school committee's performance, the leadership of the school principal and the improvement of the quality of learning Islamic religious education. The data were processed using SPSS version 21. The results showed that there was a significant influence between the performance of the school committee and the improvement of the learning quality of Islamic religious education by 37.8% and the remaining 62.2% was influenced by other factors outside the research. This data shows that the higher the influence of the school committee's performance, the higher the increase in the quality of learning. In other words, the school committee is an institution that is located in each educational unit, and is an independent body that does not have a hierarchical relationship with government institutions that are in the middle between parents, students, teachers, and the local community. Furthermore, there is the influence of the principal's leadership on improving the quality of Islamic religious education learning by 66.4% and the difference of 33.6% is influenced by other factors outside the research. This data shows that the higher the influence of the principal's leadership, the higher the increase in the quality of learning.

Capacity building is part of improving the quality of performance. This research aimed at determining the effect of capacity building and leadership of school principals on teachers’ performance in Primary School of Pulau Rimau. The population and sample in this study were teachers who taught at Primary School of Pulau Rimau, sampling was conducted using purposive sampling techniques. The results obtained there is positive and significant effect of capacity building on the performance of teachers; there is positive and significant influence of school leadership on the performance of teachers; and there is positive and significant influence of capacity building and leadership of school principals on the performance of teachers.

This study aimed to determine whether the supervision activities by supervisors in Subject Teacher Organization (or MGMP) could improve teachers' abilities to implement the active, creative, effective, and fun learning (or PAKEM). To obtain the data needed, this study involved 34 teachers of SMA Negeri 1 Tasifeto Barat and was carried out in three months, starting from 18 August 2019 to 13 October 2019. The results of this study indicated that the teachers’ ability to prepare PAKEM model increased after coaching was carried out by supervisors in the MGMP. The increase was proved by an increase in the average percentage of lesson plan (RPP) preparation, that was 61.19% in cycle I and 67.77% in cycle II as well as the teachers’ ability to compile learning scenarios and components in designing classroom management by determining the types of learning activities that provided opportunities to involve students with detailed and challenging steps for improvement. Therefore, it was suggested that supervisors and school principals took the advantage of the school MGMP forum as a target for teacher training to improve their quality of learning activities and teachers could actively participate in MGMP activities, as one of the forums for improving their quality.

Learning outcomes are the results achieved in the form of numbers or scores after being given a test of learning outcomes at the end of each meeting. The quality of learning outcomes itself is influenced by several factors; the principal's leadership style, professional competence and school climate. This research aims to know the contribution of (1) principal’s leadership style, (2) professional competence, and (3) school climate on the quality of learning outcomes at Vocational High School (SMK) in Padang. This research used a quantitative method. The data were collected by using questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using multiple linear regressions using LISREL. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between the principal leadership style and the teachers’ professional competence on the quality of learning outcomes at several vocational schools in Padang. There was a positive and significant relationship between the principal leadership style and professional competence through the school climate on the quality of learning outcomes at several vocational schools in Padang.

This study aimed at determining the role of teachers and principals in improving the quality of learning in elementary school of Pulau Rimau. The sample in this study were 40 teachers from Pulau Rimau. The data were collected using 1) interviews, 2) observations, and 3) documentation. Research data analysis techniques include 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation, and 3) data verification. The results showed that teachers and principals have a role in improving the quality of education of SD Negeri in Pulau Rimau.

The leadership role of the principal in improving the quality of learning at SDN 3 Makarti Jaya, Banyuasin Regency can be said to have played a role in improving the quality of learning.As educators, school principals guide teachers how to deliver effective and efficient learning materials, as managers of principals able to optimize educational facilities, as administrators able to compile programs,as a supervisor able to compile an educational supervision program, as a headmaster leader Understand the condition of the school community, as an innovator able to implement reform (change for the better),as a motivator to be able to regulate the work / learning atmosphere, as an intreprenuer of the principal together with the school committee to work together to work creatively in extracting sources of empowerment to improve teacher professionalism,especially with regard to teachers to attend professionalism education and training as well as sending teachers to attend seminars.
