<p><em>Teaching speaking should be oriented to the vocational purpose at SMK. In reality, many students get problem to speak English and get low learning motivation. This makes them unsuccessful to get the proper jobs. The purpose of this research was to test whether the game can improve students’ speaking skill and their learning motivation at grade one of SMK Negeri 2 Sawahlunto and to find out factors influence the improvement the speaking skill and learning motivation. This research is classified into classroom action research. Data were collected through assessment, observation, and interview. The assessment was used for assessing the speaking; the observation sheet was used for assessing students’ learning motivation and then interview and field note were used for having the further information. The findings of this research have answered the research questions, that the using English game can improve students’ speaking skill and learning motivation at SMKN 2 Sawahlunto. This technique is very useful to improve students’ speaking skill and learning motivation. This technique must be applied at SMKN 2 Sawahlunto, and it is suggested that school with poor speaking skill and low learning motivation to apply and develop this method to overcome their learning English problem.</em></p>

The problem in this research was fewer students’ motivation in learning English. This research aimed to increase students’ motivation in learning English by using the Total Physical Response (TPR) method. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The participants in this research were twenty-five students, twelve men and thirteen women in the sixth-grade of MI Sa'adah El-Islamiayah Tembilahan. The data were collected in each cycle from observation, questionnaire, and field notes. The findings of this research showed that the study by using the Total Physical Response (TPR) method has increased the students’ motivation in learning English in the sixth-grade of MI Sa'adah El-Islamiyah Tembilahan after two cycles have done. It can be seen from the result of the questionnaire, observation, and field note. In the first cycle, it was seen that there was a slight increase to the students’ motivation in learning English while in the second cycle; the students' motivation was more increased than the first cycle. Furthermore, the researchers concluded that using the Total Physical Response (TPR) method was able to increase the students’ motivation in learning English. As a recommendation, the method can be utilized to grade up the students’ better-learning motivation.

Learning Indonesian is directed to improve the ability of learners in communicating orally and in writing. Theability to communicate well and correctly is in accordance with the context of time, purpose and atmospherewhen communication is held. This research is a classroom action research by taking data on daily test I anddaily test II with assessment of three aspects, namely speaking intonation, pronunciation, and voice clarity.From the research result, the use of look and speech method was able to improve the speaking skill of children inclass I SDN 005 Koto Sentajo with very high category on daily test I with the number of students two peopleincreased to five people. In the high category of the number of eight students in the daily test II increased in thedaily test II with a total of seven students, while in the ample category in repeat I with the number of studentsfour people increased to two students in Repeat II. With an overview of the research data, the use of the methodcan be seen as effective in improving students' speaking skills in primary schools.

This study aims to increase student motivation in sociology subjects through the application of the Sosis-T game media. This research method used classroom action research methods with research subjects namely students of class XII IPS 2 MAN 1 East Lombok. The research instrument used observation and tests. The research data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative techniques. The results showed that the learning media Sosiology Shot Traditional (SOSIS-T) was more effective in increasing the learning motivation and grades of students in the classroom. Through the application of the Sosiology Shot Traditional (SOSIS-T) media it is very fun for students when used during learning. Students are very motivated and enthusiastic to follow it. Students actively move, ask, answer, and respond so that class conditions become more dynamic.

The background of research is students have less motivation in learning English and some students feel difficult in understand vocabularies that were pronounced. As a result, they did not know the word and its meaning. It happens because they couldn’t hear the articulation of the word clearly. The objective of this research is to find out is YouTube vlog can improve students’ listening skill of eighth grade at MTs DDI Tani Aman Loa Janan.  The design of this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) which researcher following Kemmis and McTaggart action research procedures. The subject of this research was students of VIIIB at MTs DDI Tani Aman were about 29 students. The instrument of this research is observation checklist, test, and field note. The result of this research indicates that there was improvement of the students’ listening skill. Most of the students gradually gained good scores at the second cycle. The score of Minimum Mastery Criterion (KKM) of English lesson was 75.00. In the preliminary study there were 2 students or 7.69% students who passed the KKM and mean score of preliminary study was 28.51. Next, the result of the first cycle showed that there were 9 students or 31.03% students who passed the KKM considering their mean score of the test gained 145.47%. next, the result of the second cycle shows that there were 27 students or 96.42% students who passed the KKM which their mean scores derived 88.21 and gained 209.40% of improvement. So, the final result is found that more than 75% students with individual score in listening skill passed the KKM.

The background of this study was that students were still weak in correct speaking, and students were inconsistent in pronouncing a vocabulary. This study aims to improve the speaking skills of students learning English through the use of invitation learning media for class VIII.A students of SMP Negeri 3 Muara Bungo. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The results showed that the use of invitation learning media (invitation) could improve students' speaking skills with an average speaking skill of students learning English in the first cycle was 66 and the second cycle was 78

The article was written to show how the task based language teaching as a language teaching method can improve students’ speaking skill at Mandalika University Of Education. The research was conducted by involving the first semester students of english department Mandalika University of education. The type of the research was classroom action research in which task based language teaching was a method adopted to improves the students’ speaking skill. Collecting the research data, the researcher used two kinds of research instruments. Speaking tests were used to measure the improvement on students’ speaking skill, meanwhile observation was conducted to define how the task based language teaching improves the students’’ speaking skill. The research was concluded to has some significant improvements on students’ speaking skill proved by deviation scores gained between first cycle and second cycles of the research in which the task cycles, interesting topics of discussion, and activities through the task based language teaching method were considered as factors which significantly affected students’ speaking skill improvement.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using youtube media based on various approaches in improving the learning motivation of English learners. This research is a classroom action research. Data collection techniques used in this study consisted of observations and questionnaires. The subjects in this study were 35 people. This research was carried out in two cycles, each meeting held two meetings. In the initial test, the average learning motivation was 33.74, in the first cycle was 41.25 and in the second cycle was 48.28. Therefore, if we compare it from the initial test to the second cycle test. There is an increase of 14.54. This shows that the use of youtube media has an effect on increasing students' motivation to learn English.

This Collaborative Classroom Action Research aimed at enhancing students’ speaking skill through the application of Circle Game. It was conducted in one cycle consisting of two meetings. The subject was the seventh of C class of SMPN 2 Alas Barat consisting of 22 students. The types of data were qualitative (acquiring observation during the learning process) and quantitative (speaking tests). The results qualitatively showed that the implementation of Circle Game enhanced the students’ speaking skills. Such improvement could be seen from their enthusiasm, their interesting feeling in various materials presented by the teacher, their active involvement. In the quantitative findings, the result also showed a higher value of the mean score of the post-test (77.34) rather than the pre-test (75.75). In conclusion, the use of Circle Game can improve students’ speaking skill.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak melalui Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah di kelas IX E MTsN Olak Kemang Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilakukan dua siklus yang terdiri dari: perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa kelas IX E MTsN Olak Kemang Jambi. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan lembar observasi dan catatan lapangan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa pembelajaran akidah akhlak dengan pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar di kelas IX E MTsN Olak Kemang Kota Jambi. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa untuk setiap indikator yang diteliti. Peningkatan aktivitas siswa yang dimaksud adalah terjadinya peningkatan aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Siswa aktif merespon pertanyaan guru, mengemukakan alasan, menjelaskan kepada teman, mempresentasikan hasil diskusi kelompok dan membuat kesimpulan Kata Kunci: Aktivitas Siswa, Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah, Akidah Akhlak Abstract [Tittle: Improving Student’ Activity In Akidah Akhlak Course Through Problem Based Learning Approach]. This research was aimed to improve students’ activity in Akidah Akhlak through Problem Based Learning (PBL)at MTsN Olak Kemang Jambi city.This was a classroom action research which was conducted in two cycles in which each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation and reflection. The subject of this research was the third year students of MTsN Olak Kemang Jambi that consisted of 32 students. In collecting the data, the researcher used observation sheet and field note. The data then was analyzed descriptively.The result of the research showed that the use of PBL approach could improve students’ activity in Akidah Akhlak at MTsN Olak Kemang Jambi. After applying PBL approach, the students had a willingness to answer teacher’s questions, give opinions and plain them to the peers, present the result of the discussion and take conclusion. This classroom action research aims to improve students' writing skill of class X4 SMA Negeri 3 Bulukumba. The subjects of the study were the students of class X SMA Negeri 3 Bulukumba as much as 42 people. The object of research is the technique of direct object and peer editing, as well as the skill of writing the description. The action is done in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation / evaluation, and reflection. The research data is the data writing skill descriptions collected through the guidelines of writing descriptions and observation skills. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitative. The result of research shows that firstly, the process of learning with direct object technique that can improve the writing skill of descriptive paragraph of X-4 students of SMA Negeri 3 Bulukumba is by applying direct object technique in cycle I through planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection phase. In the first cycle of learning to write a descriptive paragraph is considered less than the maximum so that learning is continued into cycle II by designing the learning using direct object engineering and peer editing techniques. Second, the learning result of descriptive paragraph writing skill with direct object and peer editing technique has increased the average score of students who in cycle I only 81.3 increased to 88.1. In addition, there is also a significant change in attitude in students.
