The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parental guidance and emotional intelligence on student learning achievement in social science. The research method was a descriptive survey method. Data collection was done by questionnaires. Data analysis involved descriptive statistical method to find partial and multiple correlation coefficient with ttest. The result showed: 1) there was a significant effect of parental guidance and emotional intelligence together on student learning achievement in social science. Parental guidance and emotional intelligence contributed 64.2% to the student learning achievement in social science; 2) there was a significant effect of parental guidance on student learning achievement in social sciences. This is evidenced by the acquisition of sig= 0.037<0.05 and tcount=2.114; 3) There is a significant effect of emotional intelligence on learning achievement in social sciences. This is evidenced by the p<0.05 and tcount of 6.336.

<p align="center"><strong><em>ABSTRACT</em></strong><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p><em>The general objectives of this research are 1) to know whether or not the influence of students' perceptions on the environment and learning habits on student learning achievement of Social Sciences. 2) Knowing whether or not the influence of students' perceptions of the environment on the learning achievement of Social Sciences students. 3) Knowing whether or not the influence of learning habits on learning achievement Social Science students. The research method used is descriptive survey method. The number of samples taken as many as 3 classes from 3 schools is SMPN 4, SMPN 7 and SMPN 13. The results show that: 1) There is a significant influence of students' perceptions of the environment and learning habits together on learning achievement Social Science junior high school students Country in the City of Bekasi. 2) There is a significant influence of students' perceptions on the environment on the learning achievement of Social Sciences students of SMP Negeri in Kota Bekasi. 3) There is a significant influence of learning habits on learning achievement Social Science students in SMP Negeri Bekasi</em></p><p><em>Keywords: Learning Environment, Learning Achievement, Learning Habit</em></p><p><em><br /></em></p><p align="center"><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p><p>Tujuan umum dari penelitian ini adalah untuk 1) Mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh persepsi siswa atas lingkungan dan kebiasaan belajar terhadap prestasi belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial siswa. 2) Mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh persepsi siswa atas lingkungan terhadap prestasi belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial siswa. 3) Mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh kebiasaan belajar terhadap prestasi belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey deskriptif. Jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 3 kelas dari 3 sekolah yaitu: SMPN 4, SMPN 7 dan SMPN 13. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Terdapat pengaruh  signifikan persepsi siswa atas lingkungan dan kebiasaan belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial siswa SMP Negeri di Kota Bekasi. 2) Terdapat pengaruh  signifikan persepsi siswa atas lingkungnan terhadap prestasi belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial siswa SMP Negeri di Kota Bekasi. 3) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kebiasaan belajar terhadap prestasi belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial siswa SMP Negeri di Kota Bekasi</p><p> Kata kunci : Lingkungan Belajar, Prestasi Belajar, Kebiasaan Belajar </p>

This study aims to determine the effect of curriculum competence and motivation on the achievement of learning outcomes of Islamic Faculty students. The form of survey research is quantitative, namely research carried out to look for the influence of curriculum, lecturer competency and motivation on the achievement of student learning outcomes in the Faculty of Islam Tarbiyah Department Laa Roiba Islamic High School, Bogor Regency. The research method used in this study is the survey method. This study is correlational because research seeks to investigate the relationship between several research variables namely competency variables, curriculum and motivation towards learning achievement. This correlation study will use correlation and regression analysis. In this study there are three independent variables, namely competence (X1), Curriculum (X2), and motivation (X3) on the dependentvariable, namely learning achievement (Y). The three independent variables (X1, X2, and X3) are associated with the dependent variable (Y). The results of the study show that there is a positive influence between lecturer competencies (X1) on learning achievement (Y). This is indicated by the correlation coefficient of 0.921 with the significance of the tcount correlation coefficient of 3.967 and the significance of the regression coefficient F count of 51.930 which is very significant at α = 0.05. for curriculum (X2) on learning achievement (Y). There is a positive influence. This is indicated by the correlation coefficient of 0.914 with the significance of the tcount correlation coefficient of 8.547 and the significance of the regression coefficient Fcount of 51.930 which is very significant at α = 0.05, and for motivation (X3) for achievement of learning outcomes (Y). This is indicated by the correlation coefficient of 0.940with the significance of the tcount correlation coefficient of 3.189 and the significance of the regression coefficient F is 51.930 which is very significant at α = 0.05, while the results of the lecturer competency analysis (X1), curriculum (X2), and motivation (X3) are together towards the achievement of learning outcomes (Y) has a significant multiple correlation coefficient with a value of 0.858 with the significance of the multiple regression coefficient F 51.930. In this study shows the importance of variable competence of lecturers, curriculum and motivation in an effort to improve student learning achievement and it can be concluded that as an educator must have competence, understand the curriculum and provide motivation to students, student achievement will increase and vice versa if as an educator do not have good competence, do not understand the curriculum and provide less motivation to students, the achievement of learning outcomes will decrease.

This study aims to improve their learning achievement after using the adaptation of the learning model to make a match and talking stick in a Social Sciences subject at SMP Negeri 15 Dumai. This research is collaborative classroom action research with stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 15 Dumai with research subjects of class VIII students with a total of 26 students. The results showed that the adaptation of the learning model make a match and talking stick was able to increase the average student learning, indicated by the fact that in the first cycle the implementation of learning reached 78.08 and in Cycle II it was achieved. 87.31 increase student learning activeness, indicated by the fact that in Cycle I 60.23%, and in cycle II 94.32% and improve student learning achievement, indicated by the fact that in the pre-cycle the percentage of students who attained mastery level was 34, 62% (9 students) and students who did not reach the mastery level were 65.38% (17 students); in the first cycle the percentage of students who reached the mastery level was 73.08% (19 students) and students who did not reach the mastery level were 26.92% (7 students); in Cycle II the percentage of students who reached the mastery level was 88.46% (23 students) and students who did not reach the mastery level were 11.54% (3 students). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the adaptation of the learning model make a match and talking stick is able to improve the learning achievement of social subjects in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 15 Dumai.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the intensity of parental guidance and infrastructure to the students' motivation and their implications for student achievement Smk Ulil Albab Cirebon Depok. The purpose of this study are: 1) To find a picture of student achievement, the intensity of parental guidance, facilities and students' motivation to learn; 2) To determine the effect intensity of parental guidance and infrastructure to student motivation and its implications on learning achievement. The method used is descriptive survey method verification. Data collected through questionnaires. In this study were used as the student population is Smk Ulil Albab Cirebon Depok many as 1556 people. The sample was 318 people. By using a sampling technique that is proportional random sampling. Based on the calculation and analysis of data, it can be concluded that: 1) Overview of learning achievement Students medium category, the intensity of parental guidance category is, the infrastructure category is, and student motivation sedang.2 category) there is a positive influence on the intensity of parental guidance and infrastructure on the students motivation. 3) There is no positive effect of the intensity of parental guidance on motivation to learn. 4) There is a positive effect of infrastructure study on motivation to learn. 5) There is no positive effect of the intensity of parental guidance, infrastructure and learning motivation on learning achievement. 6) There is no positive effect of the intensity of parental guidance on learning achievement. 7) There is no positive effect of infrastructure on student achievement. 8) There is no positive effect of learning motivation on student achievement.

The study aimed to identify the emotional intelligence of a sample of students of the Faculty of Education, Bakht Al-Ruda University – Sudan. and to find out any statistically significant differences between the means of the sample members due to these variables: gender, specialization and academic level. To achieve this objective, the researcher used the descriptive survey method on a sample which consisted of (115) students who were randomly selected. The researcher used the emotional intelligence questionnaire developed by Al-Alwan (2011). The final version consisted of (31) items. The study results revealed that the degree of emotional intelligence for students of the Faculty of Education University of Bakht Al-Ruda was high. There were also no significant differences in the mean of students' responses that can attributed to these variables: gender, specialization and study level. Abstract : This study aims to examine whether or not there is a meaningful relationship between textbooks and the school environment with the results of learning social science both one by one and together. This research was conducted at the junior high school (SMP) which is located in the Bekasi City environment. The time of implementation this research is carried out from November to February 2019. For the independent variables, namely the use of textbooks and the school environment, the data was collected using questioner. The measuring instrument uses a likert scale, while the final variable is the result of learning social science  whose instruments use a multiple choice test. The research method used to explain the relationship between the research variables is the survey method. Testing the validity of the textbook  and school environment using the product moment formula and the reliability calculation using the Alpha formula of Social Sciences using the biserial point correlation formula and reliability calculation using the KR-20 formula. Data analysis techniques using statistical tests in the form of correlation and simple linear regression and multiple correlations and regression. Hypothesis testing is carried out at a significant level.This research produces three main conclusions, namely:(1) There is a positive and significant relationship between the use of textbooks and learning outcomes of Social Sciences (IPS). (2) There is a positive and significant relationship between the school environment and the learning outcomes of Social Sciences (IPS). (3) There is a positive and significant relationship between the relationship between the use of textbooks and the school environment together with the learning outcomes of Social Sciences (IPS).

This research is motivated by the importance of student success in learning that is measured through learning outcomes. The reality shows that student learning outcomes in Islamic Education subjects are still low. Learning outcomes can be influenced by several factors, one of which is emotional intelligence. This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on student learning outcomes in Islamic Education subjects. This research is a quantitative approach by survey method. The population in this study was 40 students of the fifth grade at Sekolah Indonesia Johor Bahru, Malaysia that was selected by total sampling technique. The instrument in this research consisted of an emotional intelligence questionnaire and a learning outcome test. The data were analyzed using a simple linear regression test. Based on data analysis, it was found that emotional intelligence has a significant effect on student learning outcomes in Islamic Education subjects. Therefore, emotional intelligence needs to be honed from an early age because emotional intelligence is one of the axes of individual success in various aspects of life.
