The purpose of the research is to validate the model design of Community Learning Center (CLC) management in improving education services. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The results show that first, the conceptual model consists of rationalization, assumptions, objectives, components, indicators, and model procedures; second, validation of model is conducted through discussions with peer groups and expert judgment; third, implementation of model trials is described in learning activities in CLC. The learning steps include the process of planning, organizing, implementing and assessing in learning. The conclusions of the developed model show effective results with indicators: first, there are active involvements and positive responses of community members to the learning activities; second, learning outcomes of community members show there is an increase in the ability of knowledge, attitudes and skills.

This article we made with the title the influence of the management of educational facilities and infrastructure in schools on the effectiveness of supporting student learning. The problem that we discuss in this article is whether the influence of the management of educational facilities and infrastructure in schools on the effectiveness of supporting student learning. Because as we know that the standard educational facilities and infrastructure is one of the efforts to support learning outcomes in schools. Teachers must pay attention to the use of facilities and infrastructure to be useful in learning activities, and the use of facilities and infrastructure can be effective and efficient in accordance with educational objectives. Management of facilities and infrastructure in a school very much influence on the effectiveness of supporting student learning. Because if a school has good and adequate facilities and infrastructure then student learning will also run effectively and efficiently. This article uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach.

Community Learning Center (CLC) is a strategic place for various community learning activities that focus on potency empowerment to mobilize development in education, social, economy, and culture including HIV AIDS prevention. Unfortunately, a few CLCs carry out the prevention education of HIV AIDS. This article provides a guide for educational and non-educational personnels in CLC/PKBM to carry out the integration of HIV AIDS prevention education either into CLC’s activities or subject matters within courses and youth programs. They are expected to be able to improve their skills in integrating HIV AIDS education prevention and taking a part to combat stigma and discrimination.

The aim of community service is to assist in the formation of the PKBM (Community Learning Center) in the Mandi Angin Village, Rawas Ilir, Musi Rawas Utara. The method used is the method of socialization, training and practice. This PKBM is a mentoring activity that drects to the formation of the PKBM structure (The center of community learning activities). This is the concern of the PKBM team because in the Mandi Angin village has not yet formed a learning center for the community. PKBM assistance activities (the center of community learning activities) will increase SDM leading to SDM productivity in Mandi Angin village. The results of the PKBM (community learning activity center) activities in the Mandi Angin village of Rawas Ilir sub-district, kabupaten Musi Rawas Utara, including: 1) The implementation of STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau team with the village government, so that the activities took place safely and smoothly, 2) The implementation of the socialization of the PKBM structure (community learning activity center) and responded wel by the community, 3) the device and the community who were enthusiastic in bathing to support the formation of PKBM in the village, 4) The constrains faced were related to the difficulty in getting high competent communities, as part of the PKBM structure, and 5) The village government and the community demanded that the PKBM activities be carried out well, not just in the form of structuring their activities. In general the results of this PKBM are the formation of the PKBM structure which will be continued at the level of PKBM implementation.

The purpose of this research is to obtain empirical data on tutor’s performance in managing instructional activities of Package C Program at Community Learning Activities Center (CLAC). The research was conducted at a CLAC in North Jakarta. The method employed was descriptive method with qualitative approach. The researcher made direct observation to the CLAC where Package C program was being implemented. To obtain valid and reliable data and information, the researcher also conducted in-depth interview. Based on the available data and information, the research concluded that according to the respondents’ opinion all tutors have conducted instructional process in the line with the existing standard procedures. The tutors make a good preparation before instructional process and they are capable enough to perform their tasks professionally. They have a good mastery of the instructional materials and sound ability to use appropriate instructional media to improve participants’ learning achievement. For a better result in the future, the tutors are suggested to be more proactive to develop their knowledge and skills related to their job.

Community learning center (PKBM) tutors should have professional pedagogic, personal and social competencies. This study aimed at investigating whether the tutors in PKBM Miftahul Jannah, East Jakarta  have such competencies. This study also investigated the learners. achievement . A survey using questionnaire was conducted for that purpose. This study reveals that the tutors have such competencies whereas the learners' achievement vary. This study also provides suggestions to improve the tutors quality.

The research was conducted to evaluate the performance of Community Learning Activities Center (CLAC) as an educational institution in empowering community. The research which is an evaluative study using the Stakes‘s evaluation model, took place at CLACs in Bantul, Yogyakarta Province. The findings show, firstly, each function of the CLACs has been put into practices. However, the implementation is not done effectively based on the criteria. It indicates that the performance is not organized professionally. Secondly, the CLACs have been able to produce meaningful learning outcomes such as creating positive behavior changes of targeted individuals or communities. However, the CLACs do not assign a greater impact on broader and multidimensional context of community empowerment.. Thirdly, there are threats that give negative influences on the implementation of the CLACs in terms of structural, interactional, and cultural aspects resulted from both internal and external environment of the CLAC institution. Therefore, bases on the findings, in the future the development of the CLACs should be planned and oriented to create the community toward more developed and comprehensive aspects of lives accompanied with the continuous development of strong commitment from stakeholders.

<p><em>The</em><em> goal is that students are brave, accustomed to being able to speak in all functions according to proper pronunciation and intonation Data collection is carried out by tests, observations or observation sheets and other supporting instruments of research. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of classroom action research. The research subjects were first grade students of SDN. 08 Painan District IV Jurai. Based on the results of the study, the serial image media can improve students' speaking skills with three-stage learning activities, namely: (1) initial activities, (2) core activities, and (3) final activities. The result of the first cycle of research based on the implementation of the lesson plan is 76.8% and the recapitulation of student learning assessment is 74%. The results of the second cycle research based on the implementation of lesson plans were 83.9% and the recapitulation of the assessment process and student learning outcomes was 83%. From the results of observations and recapitulation of values obtained by students, it appears that students are active in the learning process.</em><em></em></p>

This research is done because the number of students of UNBAJA’s PPKn courses semester II and IV academic year 2017 - 2018 have low nationalism.. This was seen from the results of tests that showed that there were still many students of the UNBAJA’s PPKn courses in the second and fourth semester of the 2017-2018 academic year who did not memorize the Pancasila and Indonesian Raya, and did not understand the meaning of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. The purpose of this study was to determine the causes of the low sense of nationalism of students in the UNBAJA’s PPKn courses in the second and fourth semester of 2017 - 2018 academic year and to find out the role of lecturers of PPKn courses in increasing the nationalism feeling of students in the UNBAJA’s PPKn courses in the second and fourth semester of 2017 - 2018. This study uses a descriptive method of qualitative approach with data collection techniques using test techniques, observation and interviews. Subjects of this study are lecturers of UNBAJA’s PPKn courses and students of UNBAJA’s PPKn courses in second and fourth semester of academic year 2017 - 2018. The results of this study indicate that the role of the PPKn lecturer can increase the sense of nationalism of students in the PPKn UNBAJA courses in the second and fourth semester of the 2017 - 2018 academic year, such as before the teaching and learning activities are conducted in class, the lecturer always instructed everyone to pray.

The purpose of this research is to give further description how leadership factor and organizationalr cultural factor can contribute or related to the performance gained by the tutors in the organization by looking at (a) the relation between leadership style and tutor’s performance, (b) the relation between organizational culture and tutor’s performance, and (c) the relation between leadership style and organizational culture with tutor’s performance. This positivistic research employed survey method and conducted in Community Learning Center (SKB) Limboto, Gorontalo District, as from September through November 2014. The data were collected by distributing questionnaires to the tutors, interviewing informant, and studying the document and then analyzed using path analysis. The result of the study indicates (a) leadership style has significant relation with the tutor’s performance, (b) organization culture has significant relation with tutor’s performance, and (c) between leadership style and organizational culture simultaneously has significant relation with tutor’s performance.
