he purpose of this study was to improve science learning outcomes on the structure and function of plant networks in class VIII students of MTsN 2 Aceh Besar in the 2017/2018 academic year. The learning model used in this study is the Mind Mapping Learning Model. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII MTsN 2 Aceh Besar with a total of 33 students consisting of 13 male students and 20 fe-male students. This research was conducted in the 2017/2018 Academic Year within a period of 3 months, namely from August 2017 to October 2017 in Odd Semester. The research methodology is Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles and each cycle consisting of two meetings. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The research procedure con-sisted of pre-research, planning cycle one, implementing action cycle one, observing cycle one, reflect-ing cycle one, planning cycle two, implementing action cycle two, observing cycle two and reflecting cycle two. The data collection technique is to collect test scores that are carried out at the end of each lesson in each cycle using a question instrument (written test). Observation data was carried out by look-ing at the activeness of teachers and students during the learning process. The learning outcome data were analyzed by means of percentage statistics, while the observation data were analyzed by means of a Likert scale. The results showed that there was an increase in the completeness of student learning outcomes from 39.39% in the pre-cycle increased to 60.60% in Cycle I and increased to 87.87% in Cy-cle II. Observation of teacher activity during PBM has increased from a total score of 88 good categories in Cycle I, increasing to a total score of 93 good categories in Cycle II. The application of the Mind Mapping learning model can improve science learning outcomes on the structure and function of plant tissue for class VIII students of MTsN 2 Aceh Besar for the 2017/2018 academic year.

The scope of learning material for social sciences (IPS) at Elementary School is very wide, while the time available is very limited. This has been an obstacle for elementary school teachers in achieving the learning objectives. This study aimed to determine whether the application of Mind Mapping learning model on the activities of students learning and the mastery of students learning of IPS. This action research was conducted with three cycles involving 30 students of the fifth grade of elementary school in Kabupaten Kudus. The findings were analyzed using the descriptive qualitative study. The data were collected by using a questionnaires, observation sheets, pretest, and posttest. The results showed that the Learning Model of Mind Mapping can improve the students activity. This indicated an increase in the average score of the class activity to 48.2% in the first cycle, to 56.1% in the second cycle, and to 62.2% in cycle III. The average of the student learning outcomes for IPS also increased from 64 in the first cycle, to 67 in the second cycle, and to 75 in cycles III.   Materi IPS di Sekolah Dasar memiliki cakupan materi yang sangat luas, sedangkan waktu yang tersedia sangat terbatas. Hal ini menjadi kendala bagi guru-guru Sekolah Dasar dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping dapat meningkatkan aktifitas siswa dalam belajar. Penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri atas 3 siklus dan sampelnya adalah siswa kelas V SD Kabupaten Kudus yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Hasil penelitian dianalisa secara deskriptif kualitatif. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara menggunakan angket, lembar observasi, pre-tes dan posttes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Model Pembelajaran Mind Mapping dapat meningkatkan aktifitas siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan skor rata-rata aktifitas kelas yaitu dari 48,2% pada siklus I, 56,1% pada siklus II, dan 62,2% pada siklus yang ke III. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa untuk mata pelajaran IPS juga meningkat dari 64 pada siklus I, menjadi 67 pada siklus II, dan 75 pada siklus ke III.

Abstract: This study aims to compare the Mind Mapping and ARIAS learning models (Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, Satisfaction) to the understanding of physics concepts in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Bukit Kemuning. This study is a Quasi Experiment Design with research villages using the Pretest-Posttest Design Control Group. The selection of samples using Purposive Sampling techniques. The research samples were experimental class I (VIII 4) which applied the Mind Mapping learning model and experimental class II (VIII 6) which applied the ARIAS learning model (Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, Satisfaction). Data collection instruments used were test instruments for understanding concepts (pretest and posttest) with essay questions. Based on the research results that have been calculated by the t-test with a significant level of α = 0.05 (5%) that tcount = 1.725 and ttable = 1.708 which indicates that tcount> ttable, to obtain conclusions Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected which means there is a comparison of models Mind Mapping and ARIAS on understanding the concepts of physics of students in SMP Negeri 1 Bukit KemuningAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping dan ARIAS(Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, Satisfaction) terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika pada peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Bukit Kemuning. Sampel penelitian yakni kelas eksperimen I (VIII 4) yang diterapkan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping dan kelas eksperimen II (VIII 6) yang diterapkan  model pembelajaran ARIAS(Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, Satisfaction). Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu instrumen tes untuk pemahaman konsep (pretest dan posttest) dengan bentuk soal essai. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dihitung dengan uji-t dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05 (5%) bahwa thitung = 1,725 dan ttabel = 1,708 yang menunjukkan bahwa thitung> ttabel , sehingga diperoleh kesimpulan Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak yang artinya terdapat perbandingan model Mind Mapping dan ARIAS terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika peserta didik di SMP Negeri 1 Bukit Kemuning

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to describe the average poetry writing skills in students with the application of the Mind Mapping Learning model, the average poetry writing skills in students with the application of the Learning Learning Model.The theory used in this research is a mind mapping learning model and writing poetry. The method used is an experimental method with a form of research Quasi Experimental Design. The design used is the Two-Group pretest-Posttest Only. The population in this study is class VIII A, VIII B, and VIII C while the samples are Class VIII A and VIII B. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques, measurement techniques, and documentation techniques as well as data collection tools namely guidelines or observation sheets poetry skills tests and documents.The results of data analysis show that the average pre-test experimental class with a total score of 69.38 while the post-test 76.38 and the pre-test control class with a total score of 60.96 while the post-test 66.88 and there is influence with evidence scores 1.13 and 1.28.The results of this study are expected to be useful for readers, especially Indonesian Language teachers in Lumar 1 Junior High School, Bengkayang Regency, students and subsequent researchers who use mind mapping learning object models. For teachers this mind mapping learning model can be used as a reference for teaching in class, especially in learning to write poetry. Keywords: Mind Mapping, Writing Poetry

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif sebelum dengan setelah penggunaan model pembelajaran learning cycle engagement, exploration, evaluation, elaboration, dan evaluation (5E) disertai mind mapping pada peserta didik di SMAN 8 Bulukumba; (2) apakah ada pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran learning cycle engagement, exploration, evaluation, elaboration, dan evaluation (5E) disertai mind mapping terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada peserta didik di SMAN 8 Bulukumba. Jenis penelitian penelitian quasi eksperimen, dengan pretest posttes group design. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan lembar observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Data diolah menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial paired sample t-test. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan rata-rata skor kemampuan berpikir kreatif sesudah perlakuan lebih tinggi dibanding rata-rata skor kemampuan berpikir kreatif sebelum perlakuan. Hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan p sebesar 0,000, hal ini berarti terdapat perbedaan skor kemampuan berpikir kreatif sebelum dan setelah diberikan perlakuan. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik dapat ditingkatkan melalui pembelajaran model learning cycle 5E disertai mind mapping.Abstract. This research aims to understand: (1) The differences in creative thinking abilities of the students of SMAN 8 Bulukumba before and after using learning model of cycle engagement, exploration, evaluation, elaboration, and evaluation (5E) with mind mapping, (2) The effect of learning model of cycle engagement, exploration, evaluation, elaboration, and evaluation (5E) with mind mapping implementation towards students’ creative thinking abilities. This quasi experiment research done with pretest posttest group design. The Instruments used were creative thinking tests and learning implementation form. Data was analyzed descriptively and inferentially to paired sample t-test. Based on descriptive analysis, it showed the average score of creative thinking abilities of students after using the learning model was higher than the score before using the learning model. The inferential analysis showed the P value was 0,000 means there is a difference in score of creative thinking abilities before and after the implementation of the learning model. It can be concluded that the learning model of 5E with mind mapping might improve students’ creative thinking abilities.

This research aims to know: (1) the effect of Mind Mapping learning model to the concept understanding students (2) the effect of Contextual Teaching and Learning model to concept understanding students (3) which is better between of Mind Mapping Learning Model and Contextual Teaching and LearningModel to concept understanding students.This research a quasi-experimental research with population covering all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Pulung that is consisted of five classes. From five classes, classes VIIC and VIIE were randomly choosen as the sample. Then two classes were taken randomly to determine the type of treatment to be given. Class VIIC was taught by using the Mind Mapping Learning Model and class VIIE was taught by Contextual Teaching and Learning Model. The data collection techniques were a test while the instrument used to collect understanding concept test.The data collection techniques to know is there any understanding concept students is given of treatment Mind Mapping Learning Model betterthan understanding concept students is given of treatment Contextual Teaching and Learning Model  by t-test.The result show that at the significance level of 0.05, concept understanding students more taught by using the Mind Mapping Learning Model was better  than Contextual Teaching and Learning Model.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji keefektifan model Pembelajaran Mind Mapping berbantuan Media Display terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD N Gugus KH.Samanhudi Kendal.Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas IV SD N Sendangdawuhan 02 sebanyak 26 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen, kelas IV SD N Bulak 02 sebanyak 28 siswa.Data hasil belajar dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t untuk menguji perbedaan rata-rata kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Hasil perhitungan menggunakan Independent Sample T-Test menujukan jika nilai (2-tailed) < 0,05 ,karena hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kolom (2- tailed) yaitu sebesar 0,000 yang berarti lebih kecil dari 0.05. Simpulannya bahwa model pembelajaran Mind Mapping  berbantuan media display efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPS . Saran guru dan siswa diharapkan untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping berbantuan media display dalam pembelajaran di kelas dan untuk model mencatat sehari-hari agar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sehingga mutu sekolah dapat meningkat. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of the Mind Mapping Learning Model assisted by Display Media in the fourth grade students' learning outcomes at KH. Samanhudi Cluster Elementary School, Kendal Regency. This study used a quantitative method and quasi-experimental type of research. The samples in this study were the fourth grade students at Sendangdawuhan 02 Elementary School in the number of 26 students as the experimental class, the fourth grade students at Bulak 02 Elementary School in the number of 28 students. The learning outcomes were analyzed using t-test to test the average difference of the control class and the experimental class. The result of calculations using the Independent Sample T-Test addressed if the value (2-tailed) <0.05, because the results of the study showed that the column (2- tailed) was equal to 0,000 which means it was smaller than 0.05. The conclusion was the Mind Mapping learning model assisted by display media was effectively used in social studies learning. It was suggested for the teachers and the students to apply Mind Mapping learning model assisted by display media in the classroom and for note-writing in order to improve students' learning outcomes so that the school quality could also improve.

Background: The success of the learning process requires the motivation in the students themselves to be able to encourage them to do activities in the learning activities. In the implementation, appropriate learning model is needed that can generate student motivation to learn. The use of the right teaching model is to use the Mind Mapping learning model. Method: The type of research used in this study is a quasi-experimental study or Quasi experiment. The design of this study is non-equivalent pretest-posttest consisting of mind mapping class and conventional class. The population in this study is all students of grade X SMA Negeri Waeputih, which consists of 3 classes of 72 students. The sample in this study were students of class X-1 and X-3 with each student 21 people. Sampling is done randomly. Result: The result of the research used the learning model of Mind Mapping and Conventional average student value in Mind Mapping class 100% higher than the average value of conventional class of 80%. Conclusion: There is a difference of students' learning outcomes proven on the result of t-test analysis where thitung 5.14> ttabel 1.01. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk mengetahui hasil belajar keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran mind mapping lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung, (2) untuk mengetahui hasil belajar keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab siswa yang memiliki motivasi intrinsik tinggi lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang memiliki motivasi intrinsik rendah, (3) untuk mengetahui interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan motivasi intrinsik terhadap hasil belajar keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian faktorial 2 x 2. Teknik analisis data menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur pada taraf signifikan  = 0,05. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) hasil belajar keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran mind mapping lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran langsung dengan  = 6,08 >  = 3,97, (2) hasil belajar keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab siswa yang memiliki motivasi intrinsik tinggi lebih tinggi dari siswa yang memiliki motivasi intrinsik rendah dengan  = 60,34 >  = 3,97, (3) terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan motivasi intrinsik terhadap hasil belajar keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab, dengan  = 28,92 >  = 3,97.  Kata Kunci: model pembelajaran, motivasi intrinsic, keterampilan membaca bahasa arab Abstract: This study aims (1) to determine the learning outcomes of Arabic reading skills students who are taught using mind mapping learning models are higher than students who are taught using direct learning models, (2) to find out the learning outcomes of Arabic reading skills students who have higher intrinsic motivation than students who have low intrinsic motivation, (3) to find out the interaction between learning models and intrinsic motivation on the learning outcomes of Arabic reading skills. This research is a quasi-experimental research with 2 x 2 factorial research design. Data analysis techniques using two-way ANAVA at a significant level = 0.05. Research findings indicate that; (1) the learning outcomes of Arabic reading skills students taught with mind mapping learning models are higher than the learning outcomes of students taught with direct learning models with F count = 6.08 > F table = 3.97, (2) learning outcomes of students' Arabic reading skills those who have high intrinsic motivation are higher than students who have low intrinsic motivation with F count = 60.34 > F table = 3.97, (3) there is an interaction between the learning model and intrinsic motivation towards the learning outcomes of Arabic reading skills, with F count = 28.92> F table = 3.97. Keywords: learning model, intrinsic motivation, Arabic reading skills
