This study examined the level of expertise of Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) educators to use e-learning technologies for the delivery of TVET curriculum at higher levels of education. Gender influence on the TVET educators’ competencies to use the technologies for their educational duties was also examined. The descriptive survey research design was adopted. Two research questions and one hypothesis were posed to guide the study. A total of Ninety Three (93) TVET educators made up of 67(72%) male and 26 (28%) female drawn from the authors of articles and participants in panels at all the proceedings and workshops of the International Conferences on e-learning technologies for innovative education organized by the: Online Learning consortium (OLC); Association for Talent Development (ATD) and Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) between the periods of 2010 to 2019 were screened and used through convenience random and purposive sampling methods. The data collected through questionnaire were analyzed and tested using frequency count, percentage, mean, standard deviation and T-test. The instrument had face validity and reliability co-efficient of 0.81 obtained using Cronbach Alpha formulas. The findings revealed that TVET educators were highly competent users to the use of most of the studied e-learning technologies (such as: Use of Projectors and power point presentation; Using Online networking sites..; Utilizing Learning Objects; Creating/delivering web-based instruction; etc) with average mean score greater than 3.5.However, the study reported a low level of expertise by the TVET educators in the use of smart (electronic) Board to deliver instruction (31.2%) with average Mean score of 1.96.In addition to this, the study revealed a significant difference between the level of expertise/competence of male and female TVET educators on the use of e-learning technologies (t-calculated (12.702) > t-tabulated (1.960) at 0.05 level of significant).Conclusively, the study recommended that more customized e-learning technologies for the teaching and learning of TVET courses should be made available in the higher education and TVET educators be professionally trained on how to use them for their core business of teaching.

Introduction: Self-Directed Learning (SDL) skills are essential for medical graduates for enabling them to engage in continuous learning during their medical practice. Aim: To assess the impact of E-learning activity on SDL readiness among second year MBBS students. Materials and Methods: The single group pre-test/post-test experimental study was conducted at Andaman and Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences, Port Blair. The Self-Directed Learning Readiness Scale (SDLRS) was administered to 87 fifth semester MBBS students, after obtaining informed consent. The Google website- www.sites.google.com/view/e-learningpharmacology was created and an interactive Power Point presentation along with practice set was uploaded daily for six days. The students were instructed to visit the site daily and complete the practice questionnaire. Post-test and E-learning perception questionnaire was administered after completion of E-learning activity. The data analysed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 20 software. Results: Total 87students (60% female and 40% male) participated. There was a statistically significant difference between total SDLRS scores (p<0.05) and other subscales i.e., Critical Self Evaluation (CSE) (0.007), Learning Self Efficacy (LSE) (0.003) and Effective Organisation of Learning (0.001) of the pre and post-test scores. For E-learning activity perception questionnaire, mode was observed to be 4 for 5 out of six items. Conclusion: The results of the study showed that E-learning activity influences SDL readiness among students. The E-learning activity was well perceived by study participants.

Background: E-learning as a new paradigm in modern education, is an alternative learning model than just face to- face. As simply, e-learning is defined as learning to use the electronic media, which aims to increase knowledge and performance. Studying by using e-learning is important to build the education sector in Indonesia, particularly as an effort to improve equity and access in education, particularly in health domain. Implementing of e-learning in health education are very relevant to the concept of continuing medical /health education that leads to continuous professional education. However, the higher education in Indonesia is still slightly to implement learning-based electronic systems. Several studies have shown the enthusiasm of higher education in using e-learning. The benefits and differences of using e-learning need to be carefully evaluated, especially for health education. This study analyzed the use of e-learning for teaching and learning in health education. In addition, identifying the barriers of e-learning for students.Method: The study was conducted in Poltekkes Kemenkes Palembang involving second-year Nursing students. A quasi-experimental approach was used for two groups of students, 1) e-learning users (treatment) and 2) non e- learning users (control), who were taking the Health Promotion subject. The data were collected using a pre-post tests and questionnaires. Data was analysed quantitatively and qualitatively.Results: Pre-post test results showed a significant difference to the increasing of students’s knowledge who is participating in e-learning compared with conventional learning (p <0,05). There is a positive perception of the discussion, assignments, quizzes / exams, and the availability of teaching materials amongst the students who are participating in e-learning.Conclusion: Blended learning method provide a positive impact on teaching and learning in nursing students. This method should be considered as a complement to conventional learning.

As a result, e-learning and distance learning technologies have accelerated tremendously during the last decade. e-learning necessitates changes in development and delivery of instructional content, including altered instructional methods and the expansion of support services for e-learning activities. These new information technologies significantly influence most aspects of higher education, both globally and locally. Changes in teaching and learning have impacted everyone associated with applying technology to the global delivery of learning services. E-learning has increasingly become the vehicle of choice for many higher education institutions and corporate clients who are actively engaged in creating diverse international markets for their goods and services.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembuatan aplikasi android menggunakan iSpring sebagai alternatif desain dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran daring. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode Library Research atau Kajian Kepustakaan. Ispring Presenter merupakan salah satu tool yang mengubah file presentasi yang kompatibel dengan Power Point untuk menjadikan bentuk Flash. Pembelajaran e-learning mengguakan iSpring membantu peserta didik dalam memanfaatkan teknologi dengan cerdas. Proses pembelajaran menggunakan iSpring, akan membantu peserta didik belajar sesuai dengan gaya belajar setiap peserta didik serta mendapatkan kebebasan saat belajar tampa keterbatasan waktu dan lokasi. Proses belajar mengajar lebih menarik, sehingga dapat memotivasi dan materi yang disampaikan dalam desain aplikasi iSpring lebih dapat dipahami. Kata kunci: ispring, media pembelajaran, teknologi This study aims to determine the making of android applications using iSpring as an alternative design in making online learning media. This research method uses the Library Research method or literature review. Ispring Presenter is a tool that converts PowerPoint compatible presentation files to Flash format. E-learning learning using iSpring helps students to use technology smartly. The learning process using iSpring, will help students learn in accordance with the learning style of each student and get freedom when learning without the limitations of time and location. The teaching and learning process is more interesting, so that it can motivate and the material presented in the iSpring application design is more understandable. <p><em>E-learning during covid-19 pandemic gives positive and negative effects on students’ psychology. One of the effects of E-Learning is students whose negative and positive perception towards the process of E-Learning. The objectives of the study are to know (1)  The difference perception between male and female EFL post-graduate students of the use of online learning platforms? (2). Impacts psychologically of E-learning during Covid-19 to female and male EFL students in higher education. The method of the study is mixed research with the explanatory sequential design. The participants were 31 EFL postgraduate students in PGRI Indraprasta University. The data collection technique of the study was questionnaires with a Likert scale and an open interview. The data analysis technique of the study is an independent sample t-test with SPSS 22.0 version and collection, reduction, display, and conclusion. The results of the study are: (1) There is no significant difference perception between male and female EFL postgraduate students of the use of online learning platform because the significance value (0.695) which is bigger than 0.05. (2)  E-learning during the Covid-19 pandemic did not  give anxiety, fear, fatigue, and saturation to female and male EFL students in higher education. Implication of this research is University must develop LMS (Learning Management System) for teaching EFL students</em></p>

O nosso trabalho pretende descrever o processo de desenho e implementação de objetos de aprendizagem orientados para o desenvolvimento de estratégias de resolução de problemas, numa escola superior do ensino politécnico português. Com a apresentação de um caso prático, demonstramos a utilização de um objeto de aprendizagem elaborado no âmbito de uma unidade curricular de Informática e Sistemas de Informação de um curso de licenciatura na área da Saúde, cuja metodologia de implementação se baseou na Problem Based Learning. Enquadrados num modelo de ensino-aprendizagem sustentado na participação ativa dos estudantes e orientado para a resolução de problemas por meio das TIC, o recurso ao método dos 3E permitiu o desenvolvimento de objetos de aprendizagem diversificados e consonantes com o processamento diferencial de informação dos estudantes, garantindo os resultados de aprendizagem definidos.Palavras-chave: Tecnologias da informação e da comunicação, Metodologias de ensino, Objetos de aprendizagem, Ensino superior.? The Information and Communication Technologies and the Development of Problem Based Learning Strategies on Higher Education in the Health AreaAbstractOur work aims to describe the process of design and implementation of Learning Objects to develop strategies for solving problems in a higher education Portuguese institution. This is an empirical investigation considering how the Knowledge Transfer Openness Matrix (KTOM) could facilitate accessibility and Knowledge Transfer (KT) for the UK Higher Education (HE) Management Education Teaching when utilising learning technologies. Its focus is where learning technologies applications currently assist the KT process and support accessibility for the HE teacher and learner. It considers the philosophy of openness, focusing on its usefulness to support accessibility within UK HE Management Education Teaching. It discusses how the openness philosophy may assist the KT process for the HE teacher and learners using learning technologies. In particular, the potential to support accessibility within HE Management Education Teaching environments is appraised. There appear several implications for both teachers and learners. These are characterized in the proposed KTOM. The matrix organises KT events based on the principles of the openness philosophy. The role of learning technologies in events is illustrated with regard to teaching and learning accessibility.
