ABSTRACTThe problems in this study are 1) How to apply the direct instruction model to developthe ability to determine teacher credit points as an effort to increase the competence ofprospective professional history teachers 2) What are the results of improving studentabilities that have been achieved by applying the direct instruction model 3) What arethe obstacles faced and how to attempt to solve it. This research uses a qualitativeapproach. Data sources consist of documents and informants. Documents in the form ofbooks, magazines, journals, pretest and posttest results. Data were collected byrecording documents, observations, and interviews. The data validity was done by meansof data triangulation. Data analysis used interactive analysis with three stages ofanalysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Thisresearch results in the conclusion that 1) The direct instruction learning model canimprove understanding of the material, 2) Studying the material for teacher credit scoresmakes education study program students more creative and innovative in creating newideas, 3) The need for educational study program students to be equipped with the abilitymaterial for teacher credit scores so that later when they become teachers they becomeprofessional teachers with teacher professional rank lines.Keywords: Direct instruction learning model, teacher credit score

This meta-analysis aims to determine the effect of research characteristics on the effect size of the direct instruction learning model in the undergraduate thesis of the Physics Education Study Program FKIP UNTAN, published in 2016-2019. This type of research is a survey research with purposive sampling technique consisting of 6 theses. Data collection techniques in this research are documentary studies. The results of undergraduate thesis Physics Education study programs that use the direct instruction learning model obtained an average effect size of 1.00 which high effectiveness categories based on the John Hattie barometer. In this study, there are 2 characteristics of researchers examined, among others: the gender of the researcher and Grade Point Average (GPA) of the researcher. Based on the 2 characteristics of the researchers, it did not have a significant effect on the effect size of the undergraduate students' thesis in the Physics Education study program that uses the direct instruction learning model. In this study there were 13 characteristics of the methodology studied including: research location, school level, sample size, number of classes, number of meetings, material sub-fields, learning tools or media, test reliability coefficient, instrument validity, test forms, forms of research, designs experiments, and data collection tools. Of the 13 characteristics of the methodology, it did not have a significant effect on the effect size of the undergraduate students' thesis in the Physics Education study program that used the direct instruction learning model.Kata Kunci: Meta-analisis, Skripsi, Model Pembelajaran Direct Instruction

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh signifikan yang menggunakan active listening melalui story telling dengan anak yang menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung direct instruction terhadap kemampuan menyimak anak kelompok A di Taman Kanak-kanak Gugus II Kecamatan Buleleng Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Jenis peneltian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu, populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelompok A di gugus II Kecamatan Buleleng Tahun 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 248 anak. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu TK Shaiwa Dharma yang berjumlah 20 anak dan TK Kemala Bhayangkari yang berjumlah 20 anak. Data kemampuan menyimak dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode non tes yaitu dengan observasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial yaitu uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampua menyimak antara siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran actice listening dengan siswa yang tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran active listening dengan thit = 32,409 > ttab 2,042 ini berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil analsis data model pembelajaran active listening melalui story telling berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menyimak. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari skor rata-rata siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran active listening yaitu 27,85 dan skor rata-rata siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran direct instruction yaitu 16,15. Perbaikan dilakukan dalam proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran active listening untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak anak dalam mengatasi kendala-kendala dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Kata Kunci : bercerita, active listening, kemampuan menyimak This study aims to determine the significant influence using story telling method with children using direct instruction model to the ability of listening to group A children in Kugas II Buleleng District School of the School Year 2017/2018. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study, the population of this study is the entire group A in cluster II Buleleng District Year 2017/2018 which amounted to 248 children. The sample of this research is TK Shaiwa Dharma which amounted to 20 children and Kemala Bhayangkari Kindergarten which amounted to 20 children. The listening ability data was collected by using non test method with observation. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis technique, t-test. The result of research shows that there is difference of listening ability between students using actice listening learning model with students who do not use active listening learning model with thit = 32,409 > ttab 2,042 this means there is significant difference. Based on the results of analysis data model of active listening learning through story telling influence on the ability to listen. This can be seen from the average score of students using active listening learning model that is 27.85 and the average score of students using direct instruction model that is 16.15. Improvement is done in the learning process by using active listening learning model to improve the ability to listen to children in overcoming obstacles in the process of learning in class.keyword : story telling, listening ability, active listening

Teaching and learning process is a very complex process. In order for the learning process to achieve results that are in accordance with the objectives, teachers need to consider and choose effective teaching strategies. There are still many Physical Education teachers who have not used the Direct Instruction and Project Based Learning models in Physical Education subjects because they do not understand, are lazy, and do not want to try, are busy, low learning outcomes do not reach the Minimum completeness Criteria and the teacher does not like this teaching style. This study aims to determine the difference in influence between the direct instruction model and the project based learning model on the improvement of backhand learning outcomes for fourth grade students at Cipaku Elementary School The method that will be used by the writer is an experimental method. Then the design used in this study is the Randomize Pretest-Posttest Control Goup Design. The population of this research is all fourth grade students of Cipaku Public Elementary School. The results obtained in accordance with the hypothesis that the authors propose obtained an answer that there are differences in the effect between the direct instruction model and the project based learning model on the improvement of backhand learning outcomes in fourth grade students at Cipaku Elementary School

<p><strong>Abstract: </strong>The aim of this research was to reveal the effect of TGT cooperative learning model with talking chips technique, TGT cooperative learning model, and direct learning model to the mathematics achievement in polyhedron subject viewed from mathematics communication ability. The type of this research was a quasi-experimental by 3x3 factorial design. The population was the eighth grade of Junior High School students at Wonogiri regency on academic year 2013/2014. The sample was taken by using stratified cluster random sampling technique. The instruments used for collecting data were mathematics achievement test and mathematics communication ability test. Analysis of the data used was unbalanced two-way analysis of variance. The conclusion of this research shows that TGT cooperative learning model with talking chips technique gives the same achievement as TGT cooperative learning model, but gives better achievement than direct instruction model, and TGT cooperative learning model gives better achievement than direct instruction model. It shows the same result in each categories of mathematics communication ability. Another conclusion shows that students with high mathematics communication ability have the same achievement as students with middle mathematics communication ability but they have better achievement than students with low mathematics communication ability, and students with middle mathematics communication ability have better achievement than students with low mathematics communication ability. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar pada konsep momentum dan impuls antara siswa yang diajar dengan model Quantum Learning dan siswa yang diajarkan dengan model Direct Instruction. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling, kelas X MIPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X MIPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengambilan data penelitian dengan menggunakan tes pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar berupa soal uraian pada konsep momentum dan impuls. Analisis data menggunakan Uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep dengan model Quantum Learning dengan rata-rata 80,45 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran Direct Instruction dengan rata-rata 60,12 dan t hitung pemahaman konsep 9,71 yang lebih besar dari t tabel yaitu 1,67155 dan hasil belajar dengan model Quantum Learning menggunakan nilai rata-ratanya 80,61 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata 57,29 dengan t hitung  hasil belajar 8.68 yang lebih besar dari t tabel pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar model Quantum Learning dengan model Direct Instruction sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh model Quantum Learning terhadap pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X. Kata Kunci: Quantum Learning, Pemahaman Konsep, Hasil Belajar ABSTRACT This research was to determine if there is or not an effect of understanding concepts and learning outcomes on the concepts of momentum and impulses between students taught with Quantum Learning Model and students taught with the Direct Instruction Model. Retrieval of research data used tests of understanding concepts and learning outcomes in the form of questions describing the concepts of momentum and impulses. Data analysis used t-test. The results showed that understanding the concept with the Quantum Learning Model with an average of 80.45 was higher than that of students who took part in the Direct Instruction Model with an average of 60.12 and t calculated the understanding of the concept of 9.71 which was greater than ttable namely 1.67155 and learning outcomes with the Quantum Learning Model with an average value of 80.61 higher than the control class with an average of 57.29. Value of tcalculated of learning outcomes was 8.68 which greater than ttable at the confidence level of 95%. The results showed that there were differences in the understanding of the concepts and learning outcomes of the Quantum Learning model and the Direct Instruction model which meant that there was an effect of Quantum Learning Model on understanding of concepts and learning outcomes of tenth grade students. Keywords: Quantum Learning, Understanding of Concepts, Learning Outcomes

The purpose of this research is to develop students' creativity through the application of problem based learning model in physical education in review of adversity quotient. The research method used is experimental method with 2x2 factorial designs. The population in this study are the students of 10th grade in SMK 1 Cipanas Cianjur Regency consists of 10th grade as many as 8 classes with a total of 375 students. The sample in this research is as many as 60 students, consists of 30 students with high adversity quotient skills and 30 students with low adversity quotient skills. The sampling using cluster random sampling technique. The instrument used is a questionnaire to measure the level of adversity quotient by Stolz (2000) and the creativity by Guilford (1950). The result of data analysis Two Way Anova showed that: (1) the development of students' creativity through problem based learning model is higher than direct instruction model. (2) There are differences of creativity between students who are given problem-based learning model and direct instruction model in groups of students who have high adversity quotient ability.(3)There are differences of creativity between students who are given problem-based learning model and direct instruction model in groups of students' who have low adversity quotient ability. (4) There are interactions between the learning model and the adversity quotient on students' creativity. The findings of this study confirmed that learning with problem based learning model gives more effective impact and can be applied by physical education teachers in an effort to develop student' creativity.

The learning model is basically a form of learning which is illustrated from the opening to the closing that is typically presented by teachers or lecturers. While the method of learning is the way used to implement the plan that has been prepared in the real activity for the objectives that have been compiled achieved optimally.Direct instruction model can encourage students' skill to build their own knowledge through learning activities. The learning activities provided are by giving the exercises directly. Giving the tasks directly by providing a problem that must be solved by students so that students are expected to be active to deepen the material provided.The implementation of direct instructioncan improve students' creative thinking skill. This is evident from the the students’ skill in presenting the results of observations that they have done. They have broader thoughts and insights because they have learned from the firsthand. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 8 Bulukumba studi pada materi pokok reaksi oksidasi-reduksi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitian menggunakan “pretest posttest design”. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 8 Bulukumba yang terdiri dari lima kelas. Dari populasi diambil sampel secara acak sehingga terpilih kelas X MIA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X MIA 5 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah peserta didik masing- masing 34 orang. Kelas eksperimen dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI sedangkan kelas kontrol dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung. Variabel bebas pada penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI dan model pembelajaran langsung, serta variabel terikatnya yaitu hasil belajar. Pengambilan data hasil belajar dilakukan dengan pemberian pretest dan posttest. Data hasil belajar yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen pada pretest dan posttest berturut-turut yaitu 28,56 dan 73,21 dengan rata-rata N-Gain 0,6250. Kelas kontrol yaitu 27,14 dan 67,5 dengan rata-rata N-Gain 0,5536. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t diperoleh nilai thitung = 4,059 pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dan diperoleh ttabel = 1,668. Oleh karena thitung > ttabel menunjukkan bahwa H0 ditolak atau H1 diterima. Ada pengaruh signifikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 8 Bulukumba pada materi pokok Reaksi Oksidasi- Reduksi. Experiment class learned using cooperative learning model type of TAI and the control class learned using direct instruction model. The independent variable in this research are cooperative learning model type TAI and direct instruction model. The dependent variable is the learning outcomes. Gathering data of learning outcomes is conducted by giving a pretest and posttest. Learning outcome data are analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The average students learning outcomes in the experiment class at pretest and posttest are 28.56 and 73.21, respectively and average N-Gain is 0.6250. The average students learning outcomes in the control class at pretest and posttest are 27,14 and 67.5, respectively and average N-Gain is 0.5536. The results of hypothesis testing using t-test obtained tcount = 4.059 at level α = 0.05 significance and obtained ttable = 1.668. Therefore, tcount > ttable that show H0 is rejected or H1 is accepted. There are significance effect of cooperative learning model type Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) toward Learning Outcomes of Students Class X MIA at SMA Negeri 8 Bulukumba on oxidation-reduction reaction. The purposes of this research were to analyze the different between physic resolving problem ability by using problem based learning model and direct instruction model, the different of physic resolving problem ability between the students that have critical thinking ability upper the average and the students that have critical thinking ability under the average, and the interaction of problem based learning model toward critical thinking ability and students’ physic resolving problem ability. This research was quasy experimental research that use critical thinking ability tests and physic resolving problem ability tests as the instruments. Result of the research showed that the students’ physic resolving problem ability by using problem based learning model was better than by using direct instruction model, students’ physic resolving problem ability and critical thinking ability upper the average showed better different and result than students’ critical thinking ability under the average, besides there was an interaction between problem based learning model and critical thinking ability in improving students’ physic resolving problem ability.
