Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh signifikan yang menggunakan active listening melalui story telling dengan anak yang menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung direct instruction terhadap kemampuan menyimak anak kelompok A di Taman Kanak-kanak Gugus II Kecamatan Buleleng Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Jenis peneltian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu, populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelompok A di gugus II Kecamatan Buleleng Tahun 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 248 anak. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu TK Shaiwa Dharma yang berjumlah 20 anak dan TK Kemala Bhayangkari yang berjumlah 20 anak. Data kemampuan menyimak dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode non tes yaitu dengan observasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial yaitu uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampua menyimak antara siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran actice listening dengan siswa yang tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran active listening dengan thit = 32,409 > ttab 2,042 ini berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil analsis data model pembelajaran active listening melalui story telling berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menyimak. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari skor rata-rata siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran active listening yaitu 27,85 dan skor rata-rata siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran direct instruction yaitu 16,15. Perbaikan dilakukan dalam proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran active listening untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak anak dalam mengatasi kendala-kendala dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Kata Kunci : bercerita, active listening, kemampuan menyimak This study aims to determine the significant influence using story telling method with children using direct instruction model to the ability of listening to group A children in Kugas II Buleleng District School of the School Year 2017/2018. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study, the population of this study is the entire group A in cluster II Buleleng District Year 2017/2018 which amounted to 248 children. The sample of this research is TK Shaiwa Dharma which amounted to 20 children and Kemala Bhayangkari Kindergarten which amounted to 20 children. The listening ability data was collected by using non test method with observation. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis technique, t-test. The result of research shows that there is difference of listening ability between students using actice listening learning model with students who do not use active listening learning model with thit = 32,409 > ttab 2,042 this means there is significant difference. Based on the results of analysis data model of active listening learning through story telling influence on the ability to listen. This can be seen from the average score of students using active listening learning model that is 27.85 and the average score of students using direct instruction model that is 16.15. Improvement is done in the learning process by using active listening learning model to improve the ability to listen to children in overcoming obstacles in the process of learning in class.keyword : story telling, listening ability, active listening

This study aims to know the improvement of mathematics learning outcomes by applying the concrete media-based inquiry learning model in the third grade students of SD N 4 Kaliuntu in the academic year 2017/2018. This type of research was Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was implemented in two cycles. The subjects of this study were 39 students in the third grade of SD N 4 Kaliuntu in the academic year of 2017/2018. The objects of this research were the concrete media-based inquiry learning model and the learning result of Mathematics. The data in this study were collected by the test method. Data were analyzed by quantitative and qualitative analysis method. The results showed that there was an increase on the students' mathematics learning outcomes. Based on the observation result, the average value of teacher activity was 23 with good category and the average score of student activity was 51 with enough category in cycle I and there was improvement in cycle II with the average of teacher activity iof 27,5 with very category good and average student activity score of 78,5 with very good category. In addition, based on data analysis, the average percentage of students' learning achievement in cycle I was 66,67% (medium category), increasing to 85% (high category) in cycle II. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the implementation of inquiry learning model in concrete media can improve the learning outcomes of Mathematics students of third grade in SD N 4 Kaliuntu in the academic year of 2017/2018.

<p>this research is meant to:1) see the difference influence of Cooperative Script Model with the help of mind mapping with Direct Instructional teaching model to students’ creativity skill; 2) to prove the affectivity of Cooperative Script model implementation with the help of Mind Mapping in in improving Student’s creativity in applying basic teaching skill in Micro Teaching simulation activity; 3) to prove the implementation of Direct Instruction model in improving students’ creativity in applying basic teaching skill in micro teaching simulation. This research uses experimental method with two groups pre-test post-test. The result shows that: (1) the implementation of cooperative script model with the help of mind mapping is proven to be effective in improving student’s creativity in applying basic teaching skills in simulation activity can be seen from the experiment group where 11 skills (indicator formulation skill, apperception skill, opening skill, questioning skill, using variation skill, class management skill, discussion guidance skill, individual teaching skill, material mastery skill, class mastery skill and media usage skill) are showing the average score of more than 80, (2) the implementation of direct instruction model can improve student’s creativity in applying basic teaching skills where 6 basic skills (indicator formulation skill, giving apperception skill, lesson opening skill, questioning skill, class management skill and individual teaching skill) are able to achieve average scores of more than 80, and (3) the misconception done by students can be categorized as basic mathematical misconception which is caused by apperception mistake and understanding.</p>Keywords:

<em>The goal to be achieved in this research is to improve understanding of the concept of the food chain through the Direct Instruction learning model for grade V students of SD Negeri 2 Muruh in the academic year 2020/2021. This research is a classroom action research (PTK). The research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were students of class V SD Negeri 2 Muruh with 16 students. Data collection techniques using documentation, observation, and tests. The data analysis technique used is a comparative descriptive model, which is to compare the value of students' understanding of the food chain concept from the initial conditions, cycle I, to cycle II. The results showed an increase in the class average score and the number of students who completed learning in each cycle. In the initial conditions, the class average score was only 67.93 with the number of students who completed as many as 8 students or 50%. The class average score in the first cycle increased to 71.68 with 10 students who completed or 62.5%. Then in cycle II the class average score became 80.62 with 14 students or 87.5% of the total students who completed. The conclusion of this research is that the application of the direct instruction learning model can improve the understanding of the concept of the food chain in grade V SD Negeri 2 Muruh in the academic year 2020/2021</em>

The background of this research is the low learning motivation of students of SMK Negeri 1 Ngawen. This is indicated by the lack of ability to ask questions, thoroughness in doing questions, still cheating, the desire to find learning resources and so on. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of the scramble learning model to increase motivation to learn physics in students of SMK Negeri 1 Ngawen for the 2019/2020 academic year. This type of research is classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles. The subjects in this study were 31 students of class X TAB B of SMK Negeri 1 Ngawen in the 2019/2020 academic year, consisting of 16 female students and 15 male students. The data were collected using the observation method, the test method, the questionnaire method and the documentation method. After the data was obtained, it was analyzed using a percentage scale. The results of the study can be concluded that through the use of scramble learning models in learning physics can increase the learning motivation of students of SMK Negeri 1 Ngawen. This can be seen from the observation data of student learning motivation increased from 46.94% in the pre-cycle to 60.81% in the first cycle and increased again to 73.39% in the second cycle. The percentage of students' motivation questionnaire increased 58.06% in the pre-cycle to 72.90% in the first cycle and to 81.29% in the second cycle. This increase in learning motivation has an effect on improving learning outcomes. This is indicated by the increase in the average score of students. The mean score of students increased from 59.98 with completeness 38.71% in the pre-cycle to 77.66 with 80.69% completeness in cycle I and increased again to 85.97 with completeness of 93.97% in cycle II.

<p>The purpose of this research is to determine (1) the effectiveness of the use of learning media based on android Arithmetic Digital with discovery-based learning model to learning achievement of computer system grade X of multimedia class at vocational high school 6 Surakarta, (2) the differences in students’ achievement between the control class and experimental class were given the action of using Android learning media with discovery-based learning model. The population of this research is students of grade X of Multimedia class at Vocational high school 6 Surakarta. This study uses an experimental quasi-approach. The techniques of data collection in this study using the test method to determine the results of pretest and post-test. The observation method is to know the difference of student activity of control class and experiment class. Data analysis used was non-parametric test by using Mann Whitney test and Wilcoxon rank test.</p><p>Based on the research, it can be concluded that the Android-based learning media with discovery-based learning model more effective in improving learning achievement compared with the conventional model. This is evidenced by the Wilcoxon sign rank test which gives a result of the significance of 0.000 &lt; 0.005, which means there is a difference in mean values between the two classes. The experimental class got a higher average score that is 84.14 and the control class is 67.59. The result of this research is also reinforced by student gain index analysis, with gain of experimental class that is 0,70 which mean inclination category of high learning achievement while the gain’s improvement of control class is equal to 0,40 which means inclusive category of improvement in learning achievement, this matter because in the model of discovery-based learning able to improve student activeness in learning as well as to develop student's way of learning by finding their own, and self-investigate. And combined with the right learning media such as Android, will increasingly foster student interest in learning.</p>

Teaching and learning process is a very complex process. In order for the learning process to achieve results that are in accordance with the objectives, teachers need to consider and choose effective teaching strategies. There are still many Physical Education teachers who have not used the Direct Instruction and Project Based Learning models in Physical Education subjects because they do not understand, are lazy, and do not want to try, are busy, low learning outcomes do not reach the Minimum completeness Criteria and the teacher does not like this teaching style. This study aims to determine the difference in influence between the direct instruction model and the project based learning model on the improvement of backhand learning outcomes for fourth grade students at Cipaku Elementary School The method that will be used by the writer is an experimental method. Then the design used in this study is the Randomize Pretest-Posttest Control Goup Design. The population of this research is all fourth grade students of Cipaku Public Elementary School. The results obtained in accordance with the hypothesis that the authors propose obtained an answer that there are differences in the effect between the direct instruction model and the project based learning model on the improvement of backhand learning outcomes in fourth grade students at Cipaku Elementary School

ABSTRACTThe problems in this study are 1) How to apply the direct instruction model to developthe ability to determine teacher credit points as an effort to increase the competence ofprospective professional history teachers 2) What are the results of improving studentabilities that have been achieved by applying the direct instruction model 3) What arethe obstacles faced and how to attempt to solve it. This research uses a qualitativeapproach. Data sources consist of documents and informants. Documents in the form ofbooks, magazines, journals, pretest and posttest results. Data were collected byrecording documents, observations, and interviews. The data validity was done by meansof data triangulation. Data analysis used interactive analysis with three stages ofanalysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Thisresearch results in the conclusion that 1) The direct instruction learning model canimprove understanding of the material, 2) Studying the material for teacher credit scoresmakes education study program students more creative and innovative in creating newideas, 3) The need for educational study program students to be equipped with the abilitymaterial for teacher credit scores so that later when they become teachers they becomeprofessional teachers with teacher professional rank lines.Keywords: Direct instruction learning model, teacher credit score

<p><strong>Abstract: </strong>The aim of this research was to reveal the effect of TGT cooperative learning model with talking chips technique, TGT cooperative learning model, and direct learning model to the mathematics achievement in polyhedron subject viewed from mathematics communication ability. The type of this research was a quasi-experimental by 3x3 factorial design. The population was the eighth grade of Junior High School students at Wonogiri regency on academic year 2013/2014. The sample was taken by using stratified cluster random sampling technique. The instruments used for collecting data were mathematics achievement test and mathematics communication ability test. Analysis of the data used was unbalanced two-way analysis of variance. The conclusion of this research shows that TGT cooperative learning model with talking chips technique gives the same achievement as TGT cooperative learning model, but gives better achievement than direct instruction model, and TGT cooperative learning model gives better achievement than direct instruction model. It shows the same result in each categories of mathematics communication ability. Another conclusion shows that students with high mathematics communication ability have the same achievement as students with middle mathematics communication ability but they have better achievement than students with low mathematics communication ability, and students with middle mathematics communication ability have better achievement than students with low mathematics communication ability. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar pada konsep momentum dan impuls antara siswa yang diajar dengan model Quantum Learning dan siswa yang diajarkan dengan model Direct Instruction. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling, kelas X MIPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X MIPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengambilan data penelitian dengan menggunakan tes pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar berupa soal uraian pada konsep momentum dan impuls. Analisis data menggunakan Uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep dengan model Quantum Learning dengan rata-rata 80,45 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran Direct Instruction dengan rata-rata 60,12 dan t hitung pemahaman konsep 9,71 yang lebih besar dari t tabel yaitu 1,67155 dan hasil belajar dengan model Quantum Learning menggunakan nilai rata-ratanya 80,61 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata 57,29 dengan t hitung  hasil belajar 8.68 yang lebih besar dari t tabel pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar model Quantum Learning dengan model Direct Instruction sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh model Quantum Learning terhadap pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X. Kata Kunci: Quantum Learning, Pemahaman Konsep, Hasil Belajar ABSTRACT This research was to determine if there is or not an effect of understanding concepts and learning outcomes on the concepts of momentum and impulses between students taught with Quantum Learning Model and students taught with the Direct Instruction Model. This research was a quasi-experimental. The research sample was taken by purposive sampling technique, class of X MIPA 2 as the experimental class and class of X MIPA 3 as the control class. Retrieval of research data used tests of understanding concepts and learning outcomes in the form of questions describing the concepts of momentum and impulses. Data analysis used t-test. The results showed that understanding the concept with the Quantum Learning Model with an average of 80.45 was higher than that of students who took part in the Direct Instruction Model with an average of 60.12 and t calculated the understanding of the concept of 9.71 which was greater than ttable namely 1.67155 and learning outcomes with the Quantum Learning Model with an average value of 80.61 higher than the control class with an average of 57.29. Value of tcalculated of learning outcomes was 8.68 which greater than ttable at the confidence level of 95%. The results showed that there were differences in the understanding of the concepts and learning outcomes of the Quantum Learning model and the Direct Instruction model which meant that there was an effect of Quantum Learning Model on understanding of concepts and learning outcomes of tenth grade students. Keywords: Quantum Learning, Understanding of Concepts, Learning Outcomes
