This research aims to analyzed (1) the difference between students the learning outcomes of students who were taught physics using Discovery Learning Model with multimedia and Direct Instruction Model. (2) The difference between physics students learning outcomes in the group that have low and high creativity. (3) Interaction creativity level who were taught using Discovery Learning Model with multimedia and Direct Instruction Model on learning outcomes of physics. This research was a quasi experiment. The population of this research was a student os class X MIA SMAN 5 Medan of the academic year 2013/2014. Sampling technique using a cluster random sampling consisting of two classes with 46 samples for the control class and 45 samples for the experiment class. The instrument of this research is in form of test learning result and creativity test. The technique used to analyze the data is the two way Varian of analysis. Based on the results of data processing, concluded that (1) there was a significant difference between the student achievement taught with discovery learning model with multimedia and those were taught with direct instruction model. (2) There was a significant difference between student achievement that has high creativity and low creativity. (3) There was a significant interaction between discovery learning model and direct instruction with the creativity level toward students’ achievement of physics.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh signifikan yang menggunakan active listening melalui story telling dengan anak yang menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung direct instruction terhadap kemampuan menyimak anak kelompok A di Taman Kanak-kanak Gugus II Kecamatan Buleleng Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Jenis peneltian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu, populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelompok A di gugus II Kecamatan Buleleng Tahun 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 248 anak. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu TK Shaiwa Dharma yang berjumlah 20 anak dan TK Kemala Bhayangkari yang berjumlah 20 anak. Data kemampuan menyimak dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode non tes yaitu dengan observasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial yaitu uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampua menyimak antara siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran actice listening dengan siswa yang tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran active listening dengan thit = 32,409 > ttab 2,042 ini berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil analsis data model pembelajaran active listening melalui story telling berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menyimak. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari skor rata-rata siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran active listening yaitu 27,85 dan skor rata-rata siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran direct instruction yaitu 16,15. Perbaikan dilakukan dalam proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran active listening untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak anak dalam mengatasi kendala-kendala dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Kata Kunci : bercerita, active listening, kemampuan menyimak This study aims to determine the significant influence using story telling method with children using direct instruction model to the ability of listening to group A children in Kugas II Buleleng District School of the School Year 2017/2018. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study, the population of this study is the entire group A in cluster II Buleleng District Year 2017/2018 which amounted to 248 children. The sample of this research is TK Shaiwa Dharma which amounted to 20 children and Kemala Bhayangkari Kindergarten which amounted to 20 children. The listening ability data was collected by using non test method with observation. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis technique, t-test. The result of research shows that there is difference of listening ability between students using actice listening learning model with students who do not use active listening learning model with thit = 32,409 > ttab 2,042 this means there is significant difference. Based on the results of analysis data model of active listening learning through story telling influence on the ability to listen. This can be seen from the average score of students using active listening learning model that is 27.85 and the average score of students using direct instruction model that is 16.15. Improvement is done in the learning process by using active listening learning model to improve the ability to listen to children in overcoming obstacles in the process of learning in class.keyword : story telling, listening ability, active listening

This research is a quasi-experimental that aimed to find out the effect of discovery learning model toward interests and learning outcomes of students in class XI MIA SMAN 3 Pinrang. Independent variable in the research is discovery learning model and direct instruction and dependent variables is areinterest and learning outcomes of acid-base. The population in this research is all students class XI MIA SMAN 3 Pinrang that consist of six classes. Class XI MIA5 as an experiment group that consist of 31 students and class XI MIA2 as a control group that consist of 33 students. The result data of the research was obtained by interest questionnaires and learning outcomes test on acid-base topic for post test. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of hypothesis testing for interest using t-test values obtained at tcount = 3,025 and significance level α = 0,05 with df = 3 and ttable = 1,66 because tcount > ttable  it indscate that H0 failed. So the are is effect learning model effect learning model to learning interets of students class XI  MIA SMAN 3 Pinrang. While for testing the learning outcomes using Mann-Whitney test obtained at Zcount  = 3,48 and significance level α = 0,05 with df = 3 and ztable= 1,64. It shows that there is the effect of discovery learning model toward learning outcomes of students in class XI MIA SMAN 3 Pinrang. Testing correlation for experiment group is obtained rcount  = 0,618 on significance level  α = 0,05 and rtable = 0,355, so it can be concluded that there is positive correlation interests with learning outcomes in discovery learning model. While testing correlation for control group is obtained rcount = 0,488 on significance level α = 0,05 and rtable = 0,344, so it can be concluded that there is positive correlation interests and learning outcomes in direct instruction.

ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat efektivitas dari beberapa model pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep fisika siswa SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian meta-analisis yang menggambarkan effect size dari penelitian-penelitian pendidikan mengenai pengaruh model-model pembelajaran terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika siswa SMA. Model pembelajaran yang di bandingkan dalam penelitian meta-analisis ini adalah model pembelajaran Discovery Learning, Inkuiri, Kooperatif, Direct Instruction, dan Problem Based Learning. Model pembelajaran yang memiliki efektivitas tertinggi adalah model pembelajaran Langsung (Direct Instruction) dengan nilai rata-rata effect size 1.43 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Model pembelajaran lain yang juga memiliki nilai rata-rata effect size yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi adalah model pembelajaran Inkuiri dengan nilai rata-rata effect size 1.39, model pembelajaran Kooperatif dengan nilai rata-rata effect size 1.11, model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dengan nilai rata-rata effect size 0.96, serta model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan nilai rata-rata effect size 0.92. Kata kunci: Meta-Analisis; Discovery Learning; Inkuiri; Kooperatif; Direct Instruction; Problem Based Learning; Pemahaman Konsep; Fisika ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to see the effectiveness of several learning models in improving the understanding of physics concepts for high school students. This research is a meta-analysis that describes the effect size of educational studies regarding the influence of learning models on the understanding of physics concepts for high school students. The learning models compared in this meta-analysis are the Discovery Learning, Inquiry, Cooperative, Direct Instruction, and Problem Based Learning learning models. The learning model that has the highest effectiveness is the Direct Instruction model with an average effect size value of 1.43 which is included in the high category. Teaching and learning process is a very complex process. In order for the learning process to achieve results that are in accordance with the objectives, teachers need to consider and choose effective teaching strategies. There are still many Physical Education teachers who have not used the Direct Instruction and Project Based Learning models in Physical Education subjects because they do not understand, are lazy, and do not want to try, are busy, low learning outcomes do not reach the Minimum completeness Criteria and the teacher does not like this teaching style. This study aims to determine the difference in influence between the direct instruction model and the project based learning model on the improvement of backhand learning outcomes for fourth grade students at Cipaku Elementary School The method that will be used by the writer is an experimental method. Then the design used in this study is the Randomize Pretest-Posttest Control Goup Design. The population of this research is all fourth grade students of Cipaku Public Elementary School. The results obtained in accordance with the hypothesis that the authors propose obtained an answer that there are differences in the effect between the direct instruction model and the project based learning model on the improvement of backhand learning outcomes in fourth grade students at Cipaku Elementary School

ABSTRACTThe problems in this study are 1) How to apply the direct instruction model to developthe ability to determine teacher credit points as an effort to increase the competence ofprospective professional history teachers 2) What are the results of improving studentabilities that have been achieved by applying the direct instruction model 3) What arethe obstacles faced and how to attempt to solve it. This research uses a qualitativeapproach. Data sources consist of documents and informants. Documents in the form ofbooks, magazines, journals, pretest and posttest results. Data were collected byrecording documents, observations, and interviews. The data validity was done by meansof data triangulation. Data analysis used interactive analysis with three stages ofanalysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Thisresearch results in the conclusion that 1) The direct instruction learning model canimprove understanding of the material, 2) Studying the material for teacher credit scoresmakes education study program students more creative and innovative in creating newideas, 3) The need for educational study program students to be equipped with the abilitymaterial for teacher credit scores so that later when they become teachers they becomeprofessional teachers with teacher professional rank lines.Keywords: Direct instruction learning model, teacher credit score

<p><strong>Abstract: </strong>The aim of this research was to reveal the effect of TGT cooperative learning model with talking chips technique, TGT cooperative learning model, and direct learning model to the mathematics achievement in polyhedron subject viewed from mathematics communication ability. The type of this research was a quasi-experimental by 3x3 factorial design. The population was the eighth grade of Junior High School students at Wonogiri regency on academic year 2013/2014. The sample was taken by using stratified cluster random sampling technique. The instruments used for collecting data were mathematics achievement test and mathematics communication ability test. Analysis of the data used was unbalanced two-way analysis of variance. The conclusion of this research shows that TGT cooperative learning model with talking chips technique gives the same achievement as TGT cooperative learning model, but gives better achievement than direct instruction model, and TGT cooperative learning model gives better achievement than direct instruction model. It shows the same result in each categories of mathematics communication ability. Another conclusion shows that students with high mathematics communication ability have the same achievement as students with middle mathematics communication ability but they have better achievement than students with low mathematics communication ability, and students with middle mathematics communication ability have better achievement than students with low mathematics communication ability. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar pada konsep momentum dan impuls antara siswa yang diajar dengan model Quantum Learning dan siswa yang diajarkan dengan model Direct Instruction. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling, kelas X MIPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X MIPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengambilan data penelitian dengan menggunakan tes pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar berupa soal uraian pada konsep momentum dan impuls. Analisis data menggunakan Uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep dengan model Quantum Learning dengan rata-rata 80,45 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran Direct Instruction dengan rata-rata 60,12 dan t hitung pemahaman konsep 9,71 yang lebih besar dari t tabel yaitu 1,67155 dan hasil belajar dengan model Quantum Learning menggunakan nilai rata-ratanya 80,61 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata 57,29 dengan t hitung  hasil belajar 8.68 yang lebih besar dari t tabel pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar model Quantum Learning dengan model Direct Instruction sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh model Quantum Learning terhadap pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X. Kata Kunci: Quantum Learning, Pemahaman Konsep, Hasil Belajar ABSTRACT This research was to determine if there is or not an effect of understanding concepts and learning outcomes on the concepts of momentum and impulses between students taught with Quantum Learning Model and students taught with the Direct Instruction Model. This research was a quasi-experimental. The research sample was taken by purposive sampling technique, class of X MIPA 2 as the experimental class and class of X MIPA 3 as the control class. Retrieval of research data used tests of understanding concepts and learning outcomes in the form of questions describing the concepts of momentum and impulses. Data analysis used t-test. The results showed that understanding the concept with the Quantum Learning Model with an average of 80.45 was higher than that of students who took part in the Direct Instruction Model with an average of 60.12 and t calculated the understanding of the concept of 9.71 which was greater than ttable namely 1.67155 and learning outcomes with the Quantum Learning Model with an average value of 80.61 higher than the control class with an average of 57.29. Value of tcalculated of learning outcomes was 8.68 which greater than ttable at the confidence level of 95%. The results showed that there were differences in the understanding of the concepts and learning outcomes of the Quantum Learning model and the Direct Instruction model which meant that there was an effect of Quantum Learning Model on understanding of concepts and learning outcomes of tenth grade students. Keywords: Quantum Learning, Understanding of Concepts, Learning Outcomes

The purpose of this research is to develop students' creativity through the application of problem based learning model in physical education in review of adversity quotient. The research method used is experimental method with 2x2 factorial designs. The population in this study are the students of 10th grade in SMK 1 Cipanas Cianjur Regency consists of 10th grade as many as 8 classes with a total of 375 students. The sample in this research is as many as 60 students, consists of 30 students with high adversity quotient skills and 30 students with low adversity quotient skills. The sampling using cluster random sampling technique. The instrument used is a questionnaire to measure the level of adversity quotient by Stolz (2000) and the creativity by Guilford (1950). The result of data analysis Two Way Anova showed that: (1) the development of students' creativity through problem based learning model is higher than direct instruction model. (2) There are differences of creativity between students who are given problem-based learning model and direct instruction model in groups of students who have high adversity quotient ability.(3)There are differences of creativity between students who are given problem-based learning model and direct instruction model in groups of students' who have low adversity quotient ability. (4) There are interactions between the learning model and the adversity quotient on students' creativity. The findings of this study confirmed that learning with problem based learning model gives more effective impact and can be applied by physical education teachers in an effort to develop student' creativity.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran  discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar matematika ditinjau dari minat belajar siswa. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain 2x2 faktorial. Tempat penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri di Kota Rantepao, tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Populasi penelitian adalah semua siswa kelas tujuh SMP Negeri Rantepao dan sampel diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling dengan jumlah anggota sampel sebanyak 78 siswa.  Model pembelajaran sebagai variabel bebas, minat belajar sebagai variabel intervening, dan hasil belajar matematika siswa sebagai variabel respon. Model pembelajaran discovery learning digunakan pada kelompok perlakuan, dan model pembelajaran langsung digunakan pada kelompok pembanding. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes hasil belajar matematika dan skala minat belajar dan digunakan ANAVA dua jalan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) model pembelajaran dan minat belajar mempunyai pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa, dan (2) model pembelajaran discovery learning lebih baik daripada model pembelajaran langsung. Kata kunci: model discovery learning, model langsung, minat belajar, hasil belajar matematika siswa. ABSTRACT The major objective of this research was to investigate the effects of applying discovery learning on mathematics achievement in terms of student's learning interest. The research methodology was a quasi-experimental and the design of the research was a 2x2 factorial. The research was conducted in SMP Negeri in Rantepao City in academic year 2014/2015. The population of research was made up of all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri Rantepao from where a sample of 78 students was obtained by using cluster random sampling technique. Learning model as the independent variable, student's learning interest as intervening variable, and mathematics achievement of student as response variable. The treatment class group taught by using Discovery learning model. While the comparison group was taught by Direct Instruction. The data were collected using the mathematics learning test instrument and learning interest scale. The data collected were analyzed with two way ANOVA. The findings showed that: (1) learning model and interest in learning have an effect on student learning outcomes, and (2) Discovery learning model is better than Direct Instruction.
