An important goal of status determining of Matras Tourism Village in 2010 was in order more people took participate in development programs of the local tourism sector. The relevant  findings of previous research were that the socio-economic characteristics including knowledge and perceptions associated with participation. The purposes of the research were to study the socio-economic characteristics and perceptions, to study the shape and the level of participation, and to study the relationship between socio-economic characteristic and perception toward participation. The research was categorized as survey research that used purposive-snowball sampling. The data were analyzed by descriptive-qualitative, Scoring, Crosstabs, Chi-Square, and Spearman's Rank. Overall, 47,73% of respondents have moderate perception level. While, 38,64% of respondents have low participation level. All indicators were positively related to the participation, except for the age and the number of dependents (negatively). However, the relationship strength were different. The informal education, tourism knowledge, perception of institutional and funds budgeting were strongly related to participation (sig. 99%). While, the perception of planning product, object/attraction of tourism, support facilities, opportunity and competitiveness described sufficiently-strong relation to participation (sig. 95%).

The management of a protection forest often faces a dilemma between the importance of conservation and the importance of the needs of the local people in the area. Managing the area will on’t be so effective and disturbed if there is only minimal participation and insufficient support in interaction from the local people. Various factors of heterogeneous people will influence the form of interaction that occurs between the people and the area. The aim of this study is to know and measure the participation of the local people in managing the protection forest and to analyse the characteristics (both individual and organizational) that influence the level of participation collectively in preserving the protected forest area. This research is designed as a survey research having the character of a descriptive co-relationship between the variable dependent i.e. Community participation and the variable of individual and organizational characters as a heterogeneous factor in protection forest area. This research population is the active community who manage the land (dusung) around the protection forest area in Gunung Nona (HLGN) in Ambon. Data analyses used tests the technical Chi square and its participation level test the co-efficient of the contingency. Results show that the characteristics (both individual and organizational) that have a close connection and influenced the level of participation in preserving the HLGN area are their knowledge about the protection forest, the scope of the authority of dusung land, the status of ownership of the dusung, the period of involvement in the organization and the relationship between the organizer and the public members in the organization. People’s participation in managing the HLGN is based on the perceived benefits and how they manage the dusung depends on their own character or morale. The food industry is characterized by a constant increase in value. The purpose of this study is to identify the most popular marketing forms used by the analyzed enterprises, which were food producers selling online among the local community and identification of the correlation of the analyzed variables with the age of companies. The survey was carried out with the use of the CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing) method, and the research tool was a questionnaire. The Chi-square statistics was used to examine the dependencies of individual variables and V-Cramer coefficient was used to identify the strength of the correlation. The obtained results and their analysis enable to conclude that there is a strong relation between the number of encountered problems in conducting online sales and the period of the company’s existence. The relationship (with a moderate strength) between sources of marketing inspirations used in e-stores and the company’s age was also confirmed. Furthermore, it was noticed that the number of marketing tools increases with the period of the company’s existence. Sales promotion, social media marketing and website positioning were indicated among the most popular tools.

The Bandung Regency Spatial Plan for 2007-2027 regulates The Patuha Mountain Area as one of the regions that have a special role in the tourism sector. This research was conducted to find out the attractiveness value and motivation of tourists on tourist attractions as well as the relationship between them in The Patuha Mountain Area. Assessment of tourist attractiveness value was based on the completeness of attraction, tourist facilities, and accessibility. Meanwhile, tourist motivation was based on tourist preferences, tourist needs, and tourist travel status. The variables were analyzed using spatial analysis and chi-square test statistics. The results indicated that the high attractiveness value has a nodal destination system, while medium and low attractiveness value has a linear destination system. Tourist motivation was being dominated by flashpacker types. Tourists who visited The Patuha Mountain Area are not being influenced by the attractiveness value of tourist attractions. Although tourist attraction has complete tourist facilities, tourists only focus on the attraction compared to the tourist facilities and accessibility.

PurposeThis study mainly aimed to show that financial literacy is not always enough in explaining workers' individual pension plan ownership as financial literacy knowledge does not always result in financially literate decisions/actions, and in such cases perceived consumer risks can be used to explain the IPP ownership decision of workers.Design/methodology/approachThe data were collected via a questionnaire adapted from earlier questionnaires using convenience and snowball sampling methods with Internet based applications such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and WhatsApp. T-tests, ANOVA and Chi-Square tests were conducted to find out if there is a relation/interaction between individual pension plan (IPP) ownership and financial literacy, and perceived consumer risks (N = 651).FindingsIt is found out that financial literacy level does not have a statistically significant relation with individual pension system (IPS) involvement of workers in Turkey, but perceived consumer risks show differences based on IPP ownership.Originality/valueTo the best of authors’ knowledge, this study contributes to the literature being the first paper to study the relationship between financial literacy and workers' IPP ownership decisions in Turkey and it also shows that perceived consumer risks can be used for explaining workers' IPS involvement in cases where financial literacy knowledge does not translate into financially literate decisions.

ABSTRAK   Alexithymia ditandai dengan ketidakmampuan dalam mengenali dan mengekpresikan emosi serta pemikiran yang berorientasi eksternal sehingga mereka memiliki hubungan interpersonal yang buruk. Remaja dengan alexithymia cenderung menjadi kecanduan media sosial.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Alexithymia terhadap kecanduan media sosial pada remaja di Jakarta Selatan. Subjek penelitian adalah remaja yang berusia 13-19 tahun dan tinggal di Jakarta selatan. Pengambilan data menggunakan metode consecutive sampling dan snowball sampling dengan menyebar kuesioner menggunakan link googleform. Jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 207 orang (41 = laki-laki, 166 = perempuan). Skala yang digunakan adalah Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-20) dan Social Media Disorder (SMD). Analisa data menggunakan metode chi-square pada SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 85 orang mengalami alexithymia, 88 mengalami kecanduan dan 62 orang mengalami alexithymia dan kecanduan media sosial. p-value didapatkan 0,000. Hal ini berarti terdapat hubungan antara Alexithymia dengan Kecanduan Media Sosial pada remaja di Jakarta Selatan. Kata Kunci :Alexithymia, Kecanduan Media Sosial, Remaja     ABSTRACT   Alexithymia is characterized by an inability to recognize and express emotions and have external oriented thoughts so that they have poor interpersonal relationships. Teenagers with alexithymial tend to become addicted to social media. This study aims to determine the relationship between Alexithymia towards social media addiction in adolescents in South Jakarta. The research subjects were adolescents aged 13-19 years and lived in south Jakarta. Retrieval of the data was using consecutive sampling and snowball sampling method by distributing questionnaires using the googleform link. The number of research subjects was 207 people (41 = men, 166 = women). The scale was used is the Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-20) and Social Media Disorder (SMD). Data analysis using the chi-square method in SPSS 25. The results showed that 85 people had alexithymia, 88 were addicted and 62 people had alexithymia and were addicted to social media. p-value obtained is 0,000. This means that there is a relationship between Alexithymia and Social Media Addiction in adolescents in South Jakarta. Keyword : Adolescents, Alexithymia, Social Media Addiction

The well is one of the source water used for bathing, washing, and drinking by the citizens in Jiken Hamlet, Rarang Village, Terara Sub-District. Poor dug well construction conditions can affect the amount of coliform bacteria contained in the dug well water. The purpose of this study is to identify the construction of dug wells and the content of coliform bacteria in dug well water and determine the relationship between dug well construction and the content of coliform bacteria. This research is analytic with a cross sectional study design. The results were obtained from 11 samples of dug wells which were observed in construction and the coliform content was known that all samples did not requirements as good dug well construction. Coliform content test results showed that as many as 5 dug well water samples did not pass the clean water quality standards. The results of data analysis with the chi-square test variable construction of dug wells with coliform content variable  showed 0,172 > 0,05, then the concluded is the dug well not suitable to use by people in that area as a source of water for daily needs.

Background: Tuberculosis (TB) and diabetes mellitus (DM) prevalence rates are increasing rapidly, especially in developing countries like Indonesia. There is a relationship between TB and DM that are very prominent, which is the prevalence of pulmonary TB with DM increased by 20 times compared with pulmonary TB without diabetes. Chest X-ray picture of TB patients with DM is atypical lesion. However, there are contradictories of pulmonary TB lesion on chest radiograph of DM patients. Nutritional status has a close relationship with the morbidity of DM, as well as TB.Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the lesions of TB on the chest radiograph of patients who su?er from DM with their Body Mass Index (BMI) in Hasan Sadikin Hospital Bandung.Material and Methods: The study was conducted in Department of Radiology RSHS Bandung between October 2014 - February 2015. We did a consecutive sampling of chest radiograph and IMT of DM patients with clinical diagnosis of TB, then the data was analysed by Chi Square test to determine the relationship between degree of lesions on chest radiograph of pulmonary TB on patients who have DM with their BMI.Results: The results showed that adult patients with active pulmonary TB with DM mostly in the range of age 51-70 years old, equal to 62.22%, with the highest gender in men, equal to 60%. Chest radiograph of TB in patients with DM are mostly seen in people who are obese, which is 40% and the vast majority of lesions are minimal lesions that is equal to 40%.Conclusions: There is a signifcant association between pulmonary TB lesion degree with BMI, with p = 0.03

Objective of this research; 1) determine the perception of ranchers against the properties and behavior of the leadership of the companion in the Society of Al-Awwaliyah 2) analyze the relationship between productivity breeder with productivity of livestock in the Society of Al-Awwaliyah 3) identify the relationship perceptions of ranchers against the leadership companion with productivity of livestock in the Society of Al-Awwaliyah , The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from questionnaires which stem from ranchers while secondary data sourced from literature in the form of books and articles. Data processing was performed using Chi-square analysis using SPSS software version 21. One of the factors relating to the productivity of ranchers is the perception of ranchers against the leadership of their companion. Leadership companion views of the nature and behavior of which is owned by a companion. Productivity ranchers indirectly related to the productivity of the cattle business. Characteristics breeder visits of age, years of education, experience ranchers, and businesses in addition to ranchers. The results of data analysis showed that there is a significant relationship between business other than ranchers with ranchers productivity. The relationship between the perception of the nature of the companion breeder with productivity ranchers produce Pearson Chi-Square value is 9.751 and Asymp. Sig. (2-sided) of 0.002. This is due to interest ranchers against leadership qualities possessed by a companion who produce prolific ranchers. Ranchers consider that a companion of his leadership qualities are ideal as a companion.

Gonado-somatic index and fecundity are tools for measuring the sexual maturity and ability of animals to reproduce.  This study investigates the reproduction of Trichiurus lepturus. Specifically, this aimed to determine the sex ratio, the GSI, the relationship between fecundity and total length, fecundity and total weight, fecundity and ovary weight. The Descriptive Method of research was used.  Percentage and chi-square was utilized in determining the percentage of occurrence and sex ratio respectively.   Pearson r Product Moment Coefficient of Correlation was used to determine the relationships of the parameters. The study revealed that females outnumbered males and the sex ratio for different month showed significant difference.  Spawning season was observed to occur in November and December as revealed in its GSI values and it synchronized with the full and new moon phases.  Fecundity is positively correlated with body weight, body size, and ovary weight where ovary weight is observed to be the best index for fecundity.  The results of this study could be used further for formal stock assessment of cutlassfish fishery.

An increasing demand for Islamic tourism has driven the concept of a ‘Halal’ (or permissible) friendly hotel into another level of business insight within the consumers’ travel market. The concept via its unique value proposition has rapidly become very attractive not only to Muslim tourists, but also to non-Muslim tourists globally. This study aims to examine the relationship linking ‘Halal’ friendly hotel attributes and customer satisfaction. Using purposive sampling, a total of 410 survey questionnaires were distributed to targeted respondents with only 323 usable feedbacks and used for data analysis. Regression results revealed that four main “Halal-friendly hotel” attributes have significant relationships with customer satisfaction. These include prayer facilities, Halal food, Islamic dress code and general Islamic morality. Of these four attributes, prayer facilities proved to have the most significant impact on customer satisfaction. Findings and managerial implications were further discussed in this article.
