Nutritional statusof students were determined by body mass index (BMI), and categorized as severeunderweight, underweight, healthyweight, overweight, and obese. Results: Forty-five stools samples were collected from elementary students inMandangin island and 55 stools samples in Mojo village. Prevalence of Giardialamblia infection without symptoms was higher in elementary students in Mandanginisland than Mojo village (28,9%, 13/45 and 1,8%, 1/55, respectively). Giardiasisprevalence in Mandangin island was significantly difference with Mojo village(p<0.0001, chi square-test). Nutritional status of students in both study sites showeddominant healthy-weight that were 73.3% (34/55) in Mandangin island and 61.8%(33/45) in Mojo village. Giardiasis was commonly observed in students with healthy-weight and it was higher in Mandangin island (8/33, 24.2%) than Mojo village (1/34,2.9%).Conclusion: Asymptomatic giardiasis was highly found in elementary students inMandangin island and commonly observed in students with healthy-weight from both 3 regions. The result indicate that factors influencing the risk of depression in the elderly is functional impairment were settled with p value= 0,000. Conclusion of the elderly who have other diseases besides DM settle a vulnerable population at risk of depression. The most dominant factor is the functional disturbances persist after controlling the variable of age, live event s and other diseases (other than DM) with OR=39. Degenerative processes can decrease the endurance in elderly that leads to health problem such as gout. Gout is a metabolic disorder, which is indicated by an increase uric acid in bloodstream (hyperuricemia). Factors affecting high level of uric acid are purine intake, physical activity and nutritional status. The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between consumption pattern of purine source food, nutritional status and physical activity with uric acid level in elderly. The study design was cross sectional. The sample consisted of 100 subyekts at Puskesmas Kecamatan Makasar. The analytical used chi square. Patterns of food consumption of purine sources were measured using FFQ questionnaires which was then cut off into into 2 categories: low-moderate purine category with score <55 and high purine category with a score of ≥55 physical activity and nutritional status were measured using questionnaires, uric acid levels was obtained by looking at laboratory results or from patients' medical records. There was 10% of subyekts withlo- moderate uric acid levels and 90% of subyekts with high purine consumption pattern. Based on the results of chi square test there was a significant difference (p <0.05) between the consumption pattern of purine source food with normal uric acid and high uric acid. There was a relationship between consumption pattern of purine food source with uric acid level in elderly.

Preeclampsia is a multisystem complication that occurs after 20 weeks of gestation. In recent years there has been no significant decrease in the incidence of preeclampsia, even in developed countries it is still the main cause of maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. This study aims to analyze differences in individual characteristics, lifestyle (physical activity), nutritional status and diet in pregnant women with a history of preeclampsia. This research design is descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. Samples were obtained from 55 pregnant women with consecutive sampling who met the inclusion criteria. Data analysis used chi-square test and spearman correlation test. The results showed a relationship between physical activity with systolic blood pressure (p value 0.001, r = 0.449) and diastolic (p value 0.43, r = 0.273), there was also a relationship between diet and risk factors for preeclampsia through blood pressure measurements as evidenced by increase in blood pressure (p value 0.000) in pregnant women in the working area of Puskesmas Kedungkandang Malang. The results of this study are expected to be used as a reference in intervening pregnant women at risk of preeclampsia, so that the disease does not develop more severely so that it does not endanger the lives of the mother and the fetus she is carrying
