Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model pendidikan karakter di Komunitas Belajar Qaryah Tayyibah (KBQT) yang berlokasi di Desa Kalibening, Kecamatan Tingkir, Kabupaten Slatiga, Propinsi Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif-deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan pemeriksaan kebasahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1)Kurikulum pembelajaran Komunitas Belajar Qoryah Thayyibah diserahkan kepada siswa, mereka bebas untuk menentukan apa yang ingin mereka pelajari, (2)Penentuan jam belajar di Komunitas Belajar Qoryah Thayyibah betul-betul diserahkan sepenuhnya kepada murid, (3)Kegiatan penting dan rutin dilakukan oleh para siswa adalah Tawasi, (4)Melakukan MOS di desa dan lingkungan dimana sekolah berada, (5)Kegiatan yang dibarengkan dengan masa otientasi siswa (MOS) pada awal tahun pembelajaran ketika siswa baru pertamakali masuk sekolah adalah salah satnya membersihkan sampah di lingkungan luar sekolah, (6) Dalam konteks dakwah bil hal Komunitas Belajar Qoryah Thayyibah juga dengan dengan demikian telah berkontribusi positif terhadap penyadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya memelihara dan berinteraksi dengan lingkungan. Kata kunci : Pendidikan karakter, Komunitas belajar, Tawasi Abstract [Model of Character Education At Qaryah Thayyibah Learning Community]. This study aims at finding the model of character education model in Qaryah Tayyibah Learning Community (KBQT) located in Kalibening Village, Tingkir Subdistrict, Slatiga Regency, Central Java Province. This research used qualitative-descriptive method, where the study employed interview, observation, and documentation as data collecting techniques, and well as using triangulation as data trustworthiness technique. The results of the study are: (1) The learning curriculum of Qoryah Thayyibah Learning Community is given to the students, they are free to decide what they want to study, (2) The determination of study hours in Qoryah Thayyibah Learning Community is really left entirely to the students, (3) important and routine done by the students is Tawasi, (4) Conducting MOS in the village and the environment where the school is located, (5) The activity that is accompanied by the student's otientation (MOS) at the beginning of the learning year when the new student first enters school is one of the cleaning (6) In the context of dakwah bil the Community Learning Qoryah Thayyibah also thereby has contributed positively to the awareness of the community about the importance of maintaining and interacting with the environment. This study is motivated the identification of policies issued by the regional Governmentof Rokan Hulu in the form of Regulatory region number 1 by 2015 on the determination of thevillage and Indigenous Village. Political dynamics based on various interests against themanufacture of, and decision-making in the process of formation of the corresponding localregulations determination of Indigenous Villages in the Rokan Hulu is impacted to a verysignificantamount of changes from the initial draft of the number i.e. 21 (twenty one) the villagebecame Customary 89 (eighty-nine) the Indigenous Villages who have passed. Type of thisresearch is a qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The research aims to describe theState of the real situation in a systematic and accurate fact analysis unit or related research, aswell as observations of the field based on the data (information). Method of data collectionwas done with interviews, documentation, and observations through fieldwork (field research).The results of the research on the process of discussion of the draft local regulations andmutual agreement about Designation of Indigenous Villages in the Rokan Hulu is, showed thatthe political dynamics that occur due to the presence of various political interests, rejectionorally by Villagers who were judged to have met the requirements of Draft Regulations to beformulated and the area for the set to be Indigenous Villages, and also there is a desire fromsome villages in the yet to Draft local regulations in order to set the Indigenous village , there isa wide range of interests of these aspects influenced the agreement to assign the entire localVillage which is in the Rokan Hulu become Indigenous village, and the village of Transmigrationinto administrative Villages where the initiator of the changes in the number of IndigenousVillages in the Rokan Hulu it is the desire of the local Government of its own.

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengungkapkan: (1) nilai-nilai semboyan maja labo dahu dalam pendidikan karakter;  (2) implementasi semboyan maja labo dahu dalam pendidikan karakter;  (3) efektivitas implementasi semboyan maja labo dahu dalam pendidikan karakter di MTs Negeri 1 Kota Bima. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Penentuan  subjek penelitian yang dilakukan dengan teknik purposive. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif model interaktif dengan langkah-langkah: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Nilai-nilai semboyan maja labo dahu sesuai dengan nilai-nilai dalam pendidikan karakter, yaitu: nilai religius, jujur, disiplin, mandiri, menghargai prestasi, dan cinta tanah air. (2) Implementasi semboyan maja labo dahu belum dirumuskan secara eksplisit atau dibakukan sebagai materi pelajaran. (3). Semboyan  maja labo dahu telah efektif memberikan pengetahuan moral tentang nilai-nilai semboyan maja labo dahu kepada siswa. Kata Kunci:   semboyan,  maja labo dahu,  pendidikan karakter MAJA LABO DAHU SLOGAN IN CHARACTER EDUCATION Abstract: The purpose of this research was to reveal: (1) ) the values of the maja labo dahu slogan in character education; (2)  the implementation of   maja labo dahu  slogan  in character education; (3) the effectiveness of the implementation  of maja labo dahu  slogan in character education in Public MTs 1 Bima City. This research is a qualitative descriptive research using case study approach in Public MTs 1 Bima City. Informants in this study were principals, teachers, and students of Public MTs 1 Bima City. Determination of research was subjects conducted with purposive techniques. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that: (1) The values of maja labo dahu slogan were in accordance with the values in character education, namely: religious values, honest, disciplined, independent, appreciating achievement and loving the homeland. (2) the implementation of maja labo dahu slogan in Public MTs 1 Bima City was not formulated explicitly or standardized as subject matter. (3) The slogan maja labo dahu has effectively provided moral knowledge about the values of maja labo dahu  to learners. Keywords: Maja labo dahu slogan,,  character education

Folklore is a story that originated in society and developed in society in the past which played an important role in the development of children's character learning in the form of moral values. The purpose of this study was to explain the moral values contained in folklore to improve character education. This study used a qualitative descriptive research design. Where all the data collected is based on books and other supporting document data. From the discussion of the Timun Mas folklore, there are eight prominent moral values, namely religious values, independent values, curiosity values, hard work values, responsibility values, honesty values, creativity, the value of the spirit of hard work. And from the research results, it can be concluded that the folklore of Timun Mas has many moral values that can be applied in the world of Education to shape character.

<em>Natural phenomena formed on earth such as the formation of mountains can be used as a means for humans to always think and increase curiosity. In the world of education, natural phenomena can be used as a medium for learning. This study aims to analyze and study the legend of Gunung Wurung as a teaching material based on local wisdom and strengthening the character education in elementary school. The legend of Gunung Wurung is one of the folklore located Karangsambung area, Kebumen, Central Java. This research is a descriptive research. The research data was obtained from the results of observations and interviews with residents around the Karangsambung area and the results of the teacher perception questionnaire SDN 02 Kuwayuhan. Data analysis techniques used a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the analysis show that: 1) The legend of Gunung Wurung turned out to be less well known to residents around the Karangsambung area; 2) The legend of Gunung Wurung can be used as an alternative material in thematic learning in elementary schools based on local wisdom; 2) Character education values in the legend of Gunung Wurung include religious character, respect and obedience, cooperation, hard work, social care, patience, and commitment.</em>

This article intends to know and understand the development of concepts, objectives, methods, results and evaluation of internalization of BVSA in IPMAFA Pati. Today’s global world moves by bringing change more quickly and competitively, various fields experience shifts and challenges, including moral and moral crises in higher education institutions. Character education comes as a solution to the problem of morality, which we often encounter in various boarding schools. The Mathali’ul Falah Pati Boarding School in Central Java is an Islamic tertiary institution that synergizes with Ma‘had al-Jāmi‘ah. It has the concept of the Basic Values of Sālih Akram (BVSA) as an effort to prepare generations who have good professionalism and morality. This article was prepared using a qualitative-descriptive approach. Data collection methods used is field observations, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that the BVSA concept is values derived from Islamic boarding schools, which are being developed by IPMAFA Pati and become a scientific paradigm. The internalization of BVSA in IPMAFA Pati and Ma‘had al-Jāmi‘ah is Integration, Interconnection, and Insertion by taking into account the ten principles of BVSA. The results of BVSA internalization in IPMAFA Pati are that students are the regulations made by IPMAFA Pati, which influence them to be aware and understand how to become a generation that has good morals. Evaluation of BVSA internalization of IPMAFA students is based on an assessment of the cognitive and affective domains that appear in the Study Plan Card and Study Result Card.

This paper aims to describe the shift in the circumcision tradition of girls in Kudus, Central Java. The focus of this shift discussion was mainly on the shift of circumcision done by Dukun Bayi (Traditional Midwife) to that done by a professional midwife, and the prevailing cultural shift is also illustrated. The data were collected through interviews with mothers of the circumcised girls through random sampling. This research is categorized as a case study. The collected data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the study revealed that the tradition of girl circumcision is a result of following a tradition that has been done for ages, the understanding of fiqh experts plays a role in the circumcision of girls. As the village midwife is serving childbirth, the circumcision that was initially done by a dukun now is done by professional midwives. The dukun played as a massage therapist to mothers with old pregnancy, also to the postpartum mothers and their babies. The knowledge that girls circumcision needs to be done by medical staff (midwives) will be more optimal if the village government facilitates the role of village midwives in Kudus.   Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pergeseran tradisi khitan anak perempuan di Kudus, Jawa Tengah. Faktor utama perubahan tersebut adalah munculnya pengkhitan bidan desa—yang sebelumnya dilakukan oleh dukun bayi—dan menggambarkan perubahan budayanya. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan ibu dari anak perempuan yang dikhitan secara random sampling. Riset ini kategori studi kasus, data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa tertradisinya mengkhitan akibat mengikuti tradisi, yakni pemahaman ahli fikih tentang khitan pada anak perempuan. Seiring adanya bidan desa yang melayani persalinan warga, maka pengkhitan yang semula dukun bayi ada yang dialihkan pada bidan desa. Dukun bayi diperankan sebagai tukang pijet pada ibu yang usia kandungannya menua dan memijat ibu pascamelahirkan beserta bayinya. Hal yang perlu dipahami agar mengkhitan anak perempuan dilakukan oleh tenaga medis (bidan) makin optimal bila peran bidan desa difasilitasi oleh pemerintah desa di Kudus.

Art shop in Tegallalang is one of the businesses that were built by the community with a small capital as well as the livelihoods of local communities. The expansion of the art shop in Tegallalang causing the large number of tourists visiting Tegallalang, it is also supported by the presence of a tourism destination with the beauty of rice fields across the village that is known for its slender stones. This research uses qualitative descriptive method, i.e. by doing interviews, observation, documentation, library studies and questionnaires. The technique of determination of informants used is purposive sampling technique and determination of the sample using the quota sampling and accidental sampling. The result of this study show a marketing strategy that can be used by traders to face competition that is creating cultural tourism atttractions activities, introducing product manufacturing techniques to consumer, improving the ability in technologi, providing parking lots and transit places, providing facilities that can facilitate employes in work, improving quality or multiplaying product models, working with other in buying raw materials, make arrangement of prices agreement with other art shop and angage in English training.  Keywords: Businesses, local Art shop, marketing strategies, and competitiveness

<p class="06IsiAbstrak"><span lang="EN-GB">This article was written to describe the trigger factors of social estrangement between the followers of the ayahadatian dan nahdliyin in Banteng Mati Village, Mijen District, Demak Regency, Central Java. The writer uses interviews and observations with a qualitative descriptive approach to get the description of the trigger factors of social estrangement between those comunities. Asy-Syahadatain was founded in the early of 19th century by Sayyed Umar bin Ismail. Its arrived in Banteng Mati, when the village was headed by H. Yasin in 1947, as a member. The social estrangement happen as a result of each group who feels right with thir opinion the others aren’t right, the tarekat syahadatain is not muktabarah because the missing link of murshids sanad is only from the Prophet SAW directly to Syarif Hidayatullah (Sunan Gunung Djati) and Habib Umar (declarator), some practice of worship is different in daily prayers from nahdliyin, syahadatain tawasul early in the morning outloud from the mosque their fanaticism towards the Murshid Syahadatain Syahadatain believing to observe Islam kaffah because the Tarekat Syahadatain sworn in oath of the Prophet SAW. </span></p>

Poverty is a social problem that is multidimensional, and therefore requires a comprehensive treatment. Central Java Governor gives a high priority to the problem of handling poverty reduction, according to RPJMD Central Java in 2013-2018. In March 2014 the number of poor people reached 4.836 million (14.46%) with distribution in rural areas as much as 2,891 million (59.78%) and in urban areas as many as 1.945 million people (40.22%). Given the number of poor people in rural areas more than urban areas, and therefore poverty reduction in rural areas needs to be addressed and handled more conceptual, systematic and sustainable. In accordance with the Regulation of the Central Java Governor Number 11 in 2015 on the Financial Aid To the Village Administration To Pioneer Village Model Berdikari In Central Java province Year 20015, then to tackle poverty in Rural Blora been appointed village: Temulus, Sumberejo and Pilang subdistrict of Randublatung as Pilot Model Village Berdikari. Types of Activities chosen to reducing poverty is a goat farm, paving and batik printing. The purpose of this study to determine the extent of the implementation of poverty reduction policies through Pioneer Village Model Berdikari. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive model. In     analyzing the data obtained in the field by using the theory of Van Meter and Van Horn. Results of this study, that the implementation of the policy of program Pioneer Village Model of Self-reliance can run well, while necessary improvements in terms of regulation, implementation, coordination, communication, synchronization and synergy program between Central Java Provincial Government and District Blora.
