This study aims to describe spiritual experiences and happiness according to Nyai Hajah Masriyah Amva, a female cleric and caregiver at the Kebon Jambu Al-Islamy Islamic Boarding School in Ciwaringin, Cirebon, West Java. This research is included in library research using qualitative methods. The results of this study prove that the spiritual experience carried out by Nyai Hajah Masriyah Amva has led her to true happiness. The happiness that Masriyah Amva gets is an empirical process she goes through and then pushes her to do a 'hijrah' or self-transcendence that goes beyond the physical world or the real environment to the Supreme Reality, God. By making God the pinnacle of transcendence, Masriyah finds true happiness. With God, he feels that he is always near to Him and at the same time becomes his support so that he feels no longer alone anywhere and anytime.

Millennial Youth Empowerment Through the Program for Strengthening the Identity of Muslim Youth in the Community Home Education Based Akhlak and Talent. Youth with age characteristics who have a tempestuous spirit, the development of thinking power and the development of maximum maturity, in Islamic history have contributed a lot to world civilization. But today's youth seem to have started to lose their identity. Many young people are confused about the purpose of their lives, their life orientation is not directed to the good of the afterlife Therefore, it is important to have a youth empowerment program. The research approach uses a qualitative method with field research. The results of the study revealed that the Home Education Based Akhlak and Talent (HEBAT) community is one of the programs that empowers youth with the values of fitrah-based education (Insan Kamil). The program tries to apply a fitrah assessment model with a mentoring method to ignite the nature of youth so that they shine beautifully into youth who have an empowered paradigm that is not only seen from an economic perspective, but empowered which means freedom from serving other than Allah. Youth who can have an impact on community empowerment are youth who are integrated between mental and spiritual, transmit the spirit of monotheism in addition to the science and technology they master, and are adaptive to the times. The role of the youth is as a solution for the community and as proof of work as a provision for the afterlife.

This research is motivated by the phenomenon where modern humans experience inner anxiety. The condition of human happiness is not only the satisfaction of physical needs, but also the fulfillment of inner needs. In the perspective of Sufism, efforts to fulfill inner needs are carried out by getting closer to God. Efforts to get closer to God in the science of Sufism begin with repentance. From those studies this research's aim is to study the phenomenon of repentance in cultural actors (javanes culture). In the area around the researcher, one of the cultural actors community is Forsabda (Art and Culture Discussion Forum). This study aims to determine the meaning and application of repentance to Forsabda activists. This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological method. Data mining was carried out on Forsabda Tulungagung activists, to five participants with semi-structured interviews, participant observation and documentation methods. Participants were selected using a purposive sampling method with the following criteria: 1) Have a minimum age of 25 years, 2) Actively participate in Forsabda activities, 3) Willing to provide information.
This study aims to reveal that the Tarekat in organizational review will develop rapidly if it is led by a Mursyid who has a transformative modernist role. This qualitative research was conducted using a phenomenological approach, participant observation approach and descriptive analysis. The results of the study reveal that TQN Suryalaya has modernist Sufi figures, namely the first Mursyid of TQN Suryalaya Abah Sepuh (Shaykh Abdullah Mubarok Bin Nur Muhammad) then followed by the second Murshid Abah Anom (Shaykh Ahmad Shohibul Wafa Tajul 'Airifn). Through these two Mursyids, it was found that the form of modernization typical of Sufis apart from in the field of ritual worship which is of course the main key, but furthermore has a role in transforming the quality of society towards a better direction in three fields: First, the field of education in the form of formal institutions in the field of basic education, secondary, and college. Second, in the field of Economics in the form of collaboration between Islamic boarding schools and SMEs in the surrounding community. The third is in the field of the environment in the form of nature conservation, irrigation technology, and plantations.

Sufism has long been associated with tolerance because of its theological nature that focuses on inner peace. However, this view tends to overlook that Sufi movements are often involved in politics and nationalist discourse. This study explains the social movement logic of a tarekat movement in Indonesia in promoting tolerance and nationalism. JATMAN (Jam’iyyah Ahl al-Thariqot al-Mu’tabarah an-Nahdliyyah) is well-known as a Sufi group currently led by Habib Luthfi. This movement calls to Bela Negara (defending Indonesia) by the jargon ‘NKRI Harga Mati’ (the doctrine of love for the homeland) and Handarbeni (being proud to locality). This research employs multiple analysis methods to examine the factors that underpin the emergence of this movement. I analyzed Habib Luthfi bin Yahya’s lectures (Rais 'Amm JATMAN) from 2020-2021, scattered on several online media such as YouTube and Instagram. Besides, I conducted interviews with several kiai in Idarah 'Aliyah (the central administrator of JATMAN) and I analyzed dozens of events organized by JATMAN in online media. Drawing on social movement theory, I argue that various motivations are overshadowed by the emergence of JATMAN within nationalism. This movement may not only be driven by piety and theological doctrine (Sufism) but also by social movement logics such as political opportunity structure, resource mobilization, and cultural framing.

Ihya’ ‘Ulum al-Din is one of the most studied books in the pesantren, especially in the pesantren of Sidogiri. The main reason is because the book has been considered as a book of sufism with high values of moderation. This study aims to identify the moderation values of da'wah in the Ihya’ and examine its effect on the da'wah paradigm of pesantren of Sidogiri. This study uses Gadamer's hermeneutic approach to connect the theory in the ihya' and the reality of da'wah at the pesantren of Sidogiri. Data obtained through documentation, interviews and observations. This study shows that the concept of da'wah in the Ihya’ is full of high values of religious moderation. This can be understood from the concept of amr ma'ruf nahi munkar which al-Ghazali explained in his work. This research also shows that the moderation value in the Ihya’ affects the da’wah paradigm of pesantren of Sidogiri which is moderate and full of persuasive approaches.

Sholat is an obligation for Muslims. Sholat obligations are determined in a day are marked by a call, the name adzan. In Indonesia, with a majority Muslim population, the signs of sholat times are very easy to recognize. But not a few ignore it. The purpose of this study is to understand sholat as a behavior from the perspective of planned behavior. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, with data collection using an open-ended questionnaire and a pocket book as a daily sholat record that informants must fill in for 2 weeks. The informants were 72 under-graduate students, both male and female. The results of this study indicate that the attitude of continuing to sholat in the given timeframe, but not necessarily at the beginning of the sholat time because there are other tasks. The presence of a family is very important as an influential person who reminds him to immediately perform sholat (as a subjective norm). Other things that are 2 considered more important and must be done besides sholat strengthen the intention to postpone praying. The behavior of postponing sholat is very strong based on these findings, because it forms attitudes, family influences and activities, which are more importantly less controllable. Therefore, a positive attitude so that prayers on time need to be built, the presence of the family is very dominant and put other things for a while to be continued after the prayer needs to be removed so that the procrastination of sholat does not occur

When Nuruddin al-Raniri served as the mufti of the Kingdom, al-Fansuri’s wujudiyyah was labeled heretical, and his followers were considered zindiqs, even infidels. In that situation, Abdurraf al-Singkili appeared carefully not to go involved in the dispute between the two groups. This articles shows al-Singkili’s moderate thoughts in dealing with the polemic of sufisms-wujudiyyah thought above, beginning from his return from the Arabian peninsula until he served as the mufti. For this, research focuses on the al-Singkili’s ilmiyyah journey, the turmoil of Sufism in Aceh, and al-Singkili’s moderat policies. Data obtained through library research with documentation technique. The results show that al-Singkili’s moderate thought is influinced by the breadth of his knowledge. Al-Singkili was not only master in sufism, but also in fiqh. In his view, both of sufism and fiqh should be done in equal proportion.

Sufism and political expressions are often considered contradictory. Politics tends to be secular, hedonic and materialist as the reason for the Sufis to stay away from it. Politicians also view that Sufi life only curbs political creativity. Secularization in Turkey failed because it met with resistance from the Sufis spearheaded by Said Nursi. This research is limited to the four pillars of thought Sufism Said Nursi. This study aims to determine the four pillars of Said Nursi's Sufism thought and its influence on the political struggle of the Muslim community in Turkey in 1900-1960. This research is library research. Data sources consist of primary data sources, secondary data sources and tertiary data. The method used in analyzing the data is the content analysis method. The research results obtained the following findings; Through the neo-Sufism social movement, Nursi got a broad audience. His guidance for Turkish society and readers of Risalah al-Nur in particular influenced political change.

This paper aims to discuss Ibn Arabi's cosmological thinking in relation to the Covid-19 phenomenon. According to Ibn Arabi, the cosmological phenomenon is a reality that does not appear by itself but comes from God. Likewise, the phenomenon of the emergence of Covid-19. Therefore, in the pressure of both physical and psychological in the face of covid-19, awareness to see this phenomenon holistically needs to be done in order to produce the right thoughts and actions. The data collection method in this paper uses accurate reading and documentation techniques. This study resulted in three data findings; 1) Ibn Arabi's cosmological concept was built on the philosophical paradigm of Wahdat al-wujud, God's tajalli, and cosmological hierarchies, 2) Ibn Arabi's cosmological relation and Covid-19 were constructed in three relational patterns, namely causal-inherent relations, symbolic-philosophical relations, and prognosis-futuristic relation, 3) alternative solutions offered in Covid-19 mitigation, namely 1) increasing theological-normative awareness, 2) increasing normative-cosmological awareness, and 3) increasing multidimensional awareness
