AbstractThis article sheds light on the relationship between politicians and the voting public to establish the grounds on which the electorate build their legitimate expectations that both members of the legislative authorities and government ministers should act in the public interest in order to fulfill their fiduciary duty. Both members of parliaments and ministers in government are expected to promote the interests of their constituents in parliaments and to serve the political interests of their parties when joining the government. They should comply with the principles of ‘Public Duty’ and ‘Duty as a Representative’, that is, they should act on behalf of their electorate and also in accordance with the public trust placed in them. This underlying duty could be elevated to a ‘fiduciary duty’ on elected members and ministers to act in the interests of their constituents, the beneficiaries, as an underscore of all models of representation, and as an emphasis of the ethical decision-making, which includes impartiality, accountability and integrity.

Abstract The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has become a super institution with extraordinary restraint. With the new Corruption Eradication Commission Law, some people think that the KPK has been weakened, which has been an institution loved by the public, even though the government denies that the new KPK Law has not weakened the KPK at all. One of the new things is the formation of the KPK Supervisory Body, one of which has the authority to grant permission to the KPK to conduct searches, which in fact has an impact on the problems at hand. The method used is a normative legal research method. The approach used is a statutory approach. The data used are secondary data obtained by literature study and primary data obtained by conducting interviews with related party respondents. There has been a shift in the meaning of Barriers to Justice as stated in Article 221 of the Criminal Code with Article 221 of the Corruption Eradication Law where Article 221 of the Criminal Code views Obstruction of Justice as a material offense while for Article 21 of the Corruption Eradication Law, Judicial Obstruction is seen as a formal offense. On the other hand, the actions of the Supervisory Board in granting licenses for searches, confiscation, etc. are not automatically considered a disturbance of justice unless it can be proven that the elements of wrongdoing committed by the Supervisory Board can be proven.   Keywords : Corruption, Authority, Obstruction Of Justice.

The number of Covid-19 cases continues to increase, including in Indonesia. One of the efforts made by the Indonesian government to prevent a pandemic is to create and implement a Covid-19 vaccination program for the community. Therefore, the government is trying to urge the public to be willing to carry out a Covid-19 vaccine. This study was conducted to the willingness of the Indonesian public to the vaccination program as an effort to prevent Covid-19. The research method used is a qualitative approach by analyzing subjectively through the literature review method from PubMed, Clinical Key, Google Scholar, and Google Engine in Indonesian or English. The results showed that most Indonesians were willing to be vaccinated. However, there are also Indonesians who refuse to be vaccinated. The reason people refuse to be vaccinated against Covid-19 may be that they have different beliefs about the Covid-19 vaccine because of limited information about the type of vaccine, the availability of the vaccine, and the safety of the vaccine itself. the conclusion is that quite a lot of Indonesian people are willing to receive vaccinations but the government still needs to provide information, knowledge, and education about vaccination programs by involving all parties, both directly and the media so that Indonesian people who refuse or receive vaccines have the same perception or views as people who are willing received the Covid-19 vaccine.
