Geometry is a branch of mathematics and is one of the subject matter in mathematics in elementary schools. Measurement of area is one of the fundamental topics in mathematics. In fact, with regard to broad measurement skills, most of the students have difficulty in describing the problem. the mistakes that students make in answering a problem or problem need to be identified, the information obtained about errors in answering math problems can be used in improving mathematics teaching and learning activities. The purpose of this study was to identify errors made in solving the broad problem of combining data shapes based on the Watson error category. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects used were 6 4th grade students of MI Nurul Huda with three different ability criteria. The selection is based on the advice of the math teacher and the daily test scores of the previous material. The results of the study show that the errors made by the research are missing conclusion errors, incorrect data errors, incorrect procedures, missing data error, and skill hierarchy problem

This study aimed to describe the errors made by students in working on math story problems on the subject of the matrix based on Watson's error criteria. This type of research was descriptive research with quantitative methods. This study's data collection techniques used the method of tests, interviews, and documentation, while the subjects in this study were 35 people. The test was carried out only once with many questions of 4 story questions. Then the data obtained were analyzed by data triangulation techniques. This study indicated that most errors made by students were incorrect data errors (inappropriate data / ID) with an error percentage of 20.39%. In comparison, the minor errors made by students were omitted data (OD) errors with an error percentage of 2.63%. For the omitted conclusion (OC) error, response level conflict (RLC), indirect manipulation (UM), skill hierarchy problem (SHP), and in addition to the seven errors (others/ O) with an error percentage range of 10%≤ P<25% and for inappropriate procedure errors (IP) with an error percentage range of P <10%. The causes of errors were lack of accuracy in reading and solving problems, errors in performing calculations, errors in using formulas, and lack of understanding of the material.

This paper discussed that mathematics is a valuable subject, as such, it is vital in inculcating good and acceptable behaviours and values among different categories of students in Nigeria. Since corruption is not an acceptable behaviour and there is the need to avoid and prevent it in the society, it was argued that with effective mathematics teaching and learning, students will acquire the knowledge and inherent values of mathematics towards cultivating good and acceptable behaviours. This will help Nigeria to produce well-behaved citizens and to develop in a healthy manner. Some vital concepts in mathematics through which good and acceptable behaviours and values can be inculcated into students discussed in this paper include the critical roles of formulas, logic and mathematical games. The paper concluded that, besides the acquisition of knowledge, mathematics is useful in cultivating good behaviours in students for good the society. It was thereof, recommended that all mathematics teacher should be encouraged to  teach the subject very well through the use of practical examples in order to make its  learning simple, realistic and interesting for the students. Also, in the course of teaching, they need to give examples of how specific aspects of mathematics could be used to help in moulding the behaviours of students positively

The sudden change caused by the global pandemics of COVID-19 leads to the classroom transformation from classical face-to-face meetings into virtual. The development of technology enables classroom variation by providing various applications that can be employed to facilitate learning activities. Nonetheless, not all situations suitable to use advanced technology during distance learning. Some students are living in remote areas with limited internet connection. This study aims to offer an alternative if most of the students were having difficulties with the internet and minimum devices to download heavy applications. The alternative is by using a chat group with an emphasis on the students’ interaction during the lesson. This descriptive study was conducted at a university in Mataram, Indonesia. The subject was 17 students in the Mathematics Education Study Program who follow the course of Abstract Algebra. The data were gathered from students’ observation during the lessons and students’ written work in the middle semester test. The data were analyzed by using descriptive qualitative method. From the analysis, it was found that the students’ activity during distance learning was 83.5%. Furthermore, 88.23% of students achieved the minimum score for the middle semester test (more than 56). The study showed that mathematics teaching and learning could be done with a secure and straightforward access application to gain good results.

The subject of alignment is not new to the world of education. Today however, it has come to mean different things and to have a heuristic value in education according to research in different areas, not least for neuroscience, and to attention to skills and to the alternation framework. This paper, after looking at the classic references that already attributed an important role to alignment in education processes, looks at the strategic role of alignment in the current context, outlining the shared construction processes and focusing on some of the ways in which this is put into effect.Alignment is part of a participatory, enactive approach that gives a central role to the interaction between teaching and learning, avoiding the limits of behaviourism, which has a greater bias towards teaching, and cognitivism/constructivism, which focus their attention on learning and in any case, on that which separates a teacher preparing the environment and a student working in it.

The purpose of this research is to know how to incerease the students’ learning achievement that has been applied learning contextual task-based learning model and to know the influence of contextual learning in  the task-based teaching model to improve achievemen and motivation to learn the material pe civis lesson.   This research is an action research by theree rounds. Each round consists of four phases. Design activities are observation, and revesion. The subject of the research is XI grade students of Bina Informatika Ternate accademic year 2015/2016. Data obtained in the form of a formative test results, observation sheet teaching and learning activities. The results of the research showed that students’ achivement increased from round I to III that the round 1, (70.00 % ), (92,50 %)  3 cycles, conclusions of this research is the method of cooperatif learning can be a positive influence on students motivation and achievement in material udaya politics in Indonesia. It means that this model can be used as one of the alternative learning for Pkn.            Kata  kunci: PKn, cooperative learning method

Amâlî (Imla) is a methodology used in studying Arabic language and literature that has a very wide scope. Amâlî (Imla) itself can be translated as: to dictate, to add, to fill in and etc. Amâlî (Imla) may also be interpreted further by the following narration: A teacher (ustadz) comes to a place like a mosque, an Islamic school or any learning space in general. In the process of teaching and learning, all that are spoken by the teacher is written down by the students on pieces of paper they had prepared earlier then be compiled into a book which will be preserved. This paper presents a brief summary of Amâlî (Imla) as a methodology which is discussed in many Amâlî (Imla) related literature works written from the beginning of 7th century until the 14th century. The subject Amâlî (Imla) is written in exceedingly diverse manner, unique to each of numerous known authors. This paper also discusses about various meaning of the word Amâlî (Imla) that has been interpreted differently among authors. In addition, the method of separating chapters and other minor distinct writing style that each of various groups of Amâlî (Imla) authors had developed was presented in this work. And lastly, this paper discusses the fact that Amâlî (Imla) related textbook authors were not only originated from the Middle East, but also from regions such as Iran (Huzistan) and Andalusia
