Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) in early childhood is a learning program to introduce and instill the principles of clean and healthy living from an early age. This study aims to prepare children to form new habitual behaviors by familiarizing themselves with clean and healthy daily living behaviors from an early age in order to implement health protocols so that children avoid the risk of transmission of various diseases including Covid-19. To teach PHBS to early childhood, teachers use the storytelling method, which is a method used by teachers to provide teaching experiences for children through oral. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a qualitative research approach. The time of this research was carried out in August 2021. The subjects of this study were 10 group A children of TK ABA Bendan and all of them were 4-5 years old. The object of this research is clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS). Data collection techniques were carried out by observation (observation), interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study uses qualitative data analysis, from the data that has been collected or collected it will be analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques with percentages. Based on the results in the observations, it was found that there was an increase in the clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) of children aged 4-6 years through the storytelling method which can be seen from the number of percentages with the criteria for developing well. In the initial conditions before the action of 0% in the first cycle increased to 50% and in the second cycle to 80%. The impact of developing PHBS with the storytelling method is that children will imitate the activity so that they gain experience about a learning activity from what they see, hear, and experience about an event.

Learning in Early Childhood Education (ECE) today should adjust the 21st century competency framework. In this case, learning innovation is needed to actualize a generation that is creative, innovative, critical thinking, able to communicate and collaborate. STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Mathematics) - based ECE learning is currently seen as an approach that aims to stimulate creativity and prepare children in a world of work that is full of innovation and invention. Research shows that there is a positive relationship between STEAM experience at early age and school success in the future. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of STEAM-based ECE learning in Semarang City. Three ECE schools that have implemented STEAM-based learning in Semarang City were included as research subjects. The research methods used were qualitative with observation, interview and documentation as a data collection technique. The research focus of the research results include: 1) Story times in STEAM class, 2) STEAM Processes in learning, 3) STEAM activities in class. Data analysis results show that the implementation of STEAM-based learning is not fully integrated, so assistance by expert teams is needed and there is no comprehensive learning media tool.

Children’s right to participate in all matters and decisions affecting them has gained recognition in society. Its promotion is recommended from an early age – namely, in early childhood education settings – and it is described as benefiting children, adults and the community in general. Given the complex and polysemic meaning of participation, different conceptualizations, models and perspectives have emerged. In this article, the authors provide a theoretical overview, describing relevant models, concepts and contributions from distinct perspectives and fields of knowledge – sociological, educational, developmental and sociocultural – as well as contributions from social policy. This overview is particularly relevant to inform research and practice about children’s participation in early childhood education.

This study aims to get an overview of empirical data information on the Independence of Children 5-6 Years in Early Childhood Education Institutions in the Dayak Kanayant Culture in Nanga Kelampai Village, Tumbang Titi District, Ketapang Regency, West Kalimantan Province. This research is a qualitative research with ethnographic research. Data analysis is Spradley. The data of this study were obtained from observations, interviews and documentation. The findings of the study indicate that the independence of children aged 5-6 years in early childhood education institutions in Kanayant Dayak tribal culture is shaped by the roles and attitudes of parents and teachers and the role of the environment. The conclusion of the research shows that independent children are not formed by themselves. Parents need to equip children from an early age to be able to do their own activities without having to rely on parents.

The skills that must be mastered in the 21st century were creativity, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration. This was in line with Bloom's theory that creativity was the highest ability in aspects of cognitive development. Therefore important creativity was given to Early Childhood Education. Early childhood learning to stimulate creativity was done through various approaches. The approach applied didn’t yet refer to the needed analysis that was in accordance with the standards of early childhood learning. The approach to stimulating the creativity of early childhood needed to be refined by referring to the stages of the child, namely learning through play. Playing must be able to stimulate the goals to be achieved. The application of playing based on reggio emilia’s approach to stimulate the development of early childhood creativity. The method used was literature study by conducting a study of books and journals. The results of the analysis of theoretical studies state that playing based on reggio emillia’s approach could help stimulated children's creativity after an early age. This was because the aplication of playing based on reggio emillia’s approach prioritizes children's freedom in exploring the surrounding environment. This exploration activity will actively foster children's imagination. Playing based on reggio emilia’s approach involves an active role in early childhood. Creativity requires space to move and playing based on the reggio emillia approach as the right link to help stimulated early childhood creativity.
