Low back pain can be caused by a variety of musculosceletal diseases, psychological disorders and mobilization. Patients who performed MRI examinations were mostly caused by indications of Low Back Pain (LBP). LBP became an important problem in the United States, in Indonesia an estimated 40% of the population of Central Java aged over 65 years have suffered from low back pain, the prevalence in men is 18.2% and in women is 13.6%.  In recent years, Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has been used widely, including for diagnosis of LBP. This study aims to identify factors that affect the suffered of low back pain in patients undergoing an MRI examination which consists of personal factors covering : age, habits, smoking  exercise habits, height, obesity, and work factors (tenure, work duration). The research categorize as a quantitative research with cross-sectional design. This study used a sample of all cases of MRI examination with complaints of low back pain as many as 60 patients. Statistical tests using chi square and non-parametric Mann Whitney tests. From the results of the study found that those who suffer  of LBP are mostly from personal factors covering :  men, have jobs that have more burden (weight), more at the age of ≥ 35 years, no smoking, no exercise, height ≥ 163 cm, overweight / obesity, with tenure of ≥ 10 years, with a work duration ≥ 8 hours a day, and type of LBP suffered in the chronic categorized. The factors that caused LBP in this study were personal factors in the most dominant sequence is caused by age, smoking habits, exercise habits, height, BMI, tenure and work duration and type of LBP chronik.

Low back pain (LBP) is one of the most common health complaints in the community. About 80 percent of adults have experienced this condition. This research is a quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The study was conducted at the Ulos Sianipar Gallery onAugust 2021. The population in this study were all weavers who worked at the Ulos Sianipar Gallery Medan as many as 54 people by using the slovin formula obtained sample of 48 people. Data was collected through a questionnaire, specifically for work attitudes with the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method, carried out with the help of cameras, bows and worksheets. The results showed that individual factors: age (p=0.003), body mass index (p=0.044) and length of work (p=0.022); work environment factors: work duration (p=0.020) and rest time (p=0.018); and work factors: workload (p=0.001) and work attitude (p=0.001) have a relationship with LBP on weavers at Galeri Ulos Sianipar Medan. It is recommended for business owners to adjust the position of the thread on the weaving machine to the sitting position of the worker so that it does not require the worker to raise his hand higher, the weaver is advised to reduce or avoid awkward postures such as bending over which can cause muscle fatigue due to frequent or repetitive weaving.

The incidence of Low Back Pain was reviewed based on patient visits to several hospitals in Indonesia ranging from 3-17%. Low Back Pain also ranks second which is often complained by people after headaches. In the United States more than 80% of the population have complained of Low Back Pain while in Indonesia around 15 million people suffer from Low Back Pain in various hospitals in Makassar obtained 10% of patients experience Low Back Pain. This study aims to determine the relationship between the degree of spondylolisthesis with the degree of pain in patients with Low Back Pain at the Ibnu Sina Hospital in Makassar. This research uses analytic correlation design with cross sectional approach. The sample in this study were all Low Back Pain patients diagnosed as spondylolisthesis in Ibnu Sina Makassar Hospital as many as 51 people who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Sampling technique is total sampling, this study uses secondary data in the form of medical records. The results of the study there is a relationship between the degree of spondylolisthesis and the degree of pain in patients with Low Back Pain at the Ibnu Sina Hospital in Makassar. So it can be concluded that the degree of pain based on Visual Analog Scale which is most commonly found is the degree of pain 3 and the degree of spondylolisthesis based on Meyerding Grading which is most commonly found is spondylolisthesis grade25%

Paving block workers are included in the informal sector and have a risk of lower back pain. Documenting the workers’ health status in the informal sector has not been done well so that workers do not get protection from the government. Heavy physical work puts pressure on the spine associated with repeated body twisting. This study aims to determine work attitude, length of employment, and exercise habits related to low back pain in Pontianak paving block workers in 2018. This type of research is observational with a cross-sectional approach. Sampling uses total sampling. The research sample of 56 paving block workers in the city of Pontianak, West Kalimantan. Data is processed with a computer program. Data analysis was performed univariate and bivariate and tested using the Chi-square test, with α = 5%. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the length of the work (p = 0.013), work attitude (p-value = 0.038), and exercise habits (p = 0.003) with low back pain.

Low Back Pain (LBP) is pain in the waist or lower spine that can be felt up to the buttocks and thighs. Many workers experience illness. Results The study was conducted on 9,482 workers in 12 regencies and cities in Indonesia, the disease experienced by workers was Musculoskeletal Disorder as much as 16% including Low Back Pain. This study aims to determine the relationship between work duration and work posture with complaints of Low Back Pain at Nagari Simpang Kapuak tailors, Lima Puluh Kota Regency. This research is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. Collecting data through a census of 43 tailors with interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis with univariate, bivariate and Chi-Square statistical test. The results of the study found that 58.1% of tailors experienced severe complaints of low back pain. 72.1% are classified as risky age, 74.1% are female, 58.1% have a BMI at risk, 67.4% work with risky work duration, 69.8% work with risky work postures. There is a relationship between age (p = 0.017), BMI (p = 0.013), work duration (p = 0.002), and body posture (p = 0.006) with complaints of Low Back Pain. To reduce the risk of Low Back Pain, tailors should relax and rest by stretching muscles, exercising based on the age of the worker, consuming foods that contain calcium, working with a balanced working time and doing an ergonomic work system.

Abstract Objective Low back pain (LBP) is a leading cause of pain and disability. Substance use complicates the management of LBP, and potential risks increase with aging. Despite implications for an aging, diverse U.S. population, substance use and LBP comorbidity remain poorly defined. The objective of this study was to characterize LBP and substance use diagnoses in older U.S. adults by age, gender, and race. Design Cross-sectional study of a random national sample. Subjects Older adults including 1,477,594 U.S. Medicare Part B beneficiaries. Methods Bayesian analysis of 37,634,210 claims, with 10,775,869 administrative and 92,903,649 diagnostic code assignments. Results LBP was diagnosed in 14.8±0.06% of those more than 65 years of age, more in females than in males (15.8±0.08% vs. 13.4±0.09%), and slightly less in those more than 85 years of age (13.3±0.2%). Substance use diagnosis varied by substance: nicotine, 9.6±0.02%; opioid, 2.8±0.01%; and alcohol, 1.3±0.01%. Substance use diagnosis declined with advancing age cohort. Opioid use diagnosis was markedly higher for those in whom LBP was diagnosed (10.5%) than for those not diagnosed with LBP (1.5%). Most older adults (54.9%) with an opioid diagnosis were diagnosed with LBP. Gender differences were modest. Relative rates of substance use diagnoses in LBP were modest for nicotine and alcohol. Conclusions Older adults with LBP have high relative rates of opioid diagnoses, irrespective of gender or age. Most older adults with opioid-related diagnoses have LBP, compared with a minority of those not opioid diagnosed. In caring for older adults with LBP or opioid-related diagnoses, health systems must anticipate complexity and support clinicians, patients, and caregivers in managing pain comorbidities. Older adults may benefit from proactive incorporation of non-opioid pain treatments. Further study is needed.
