This research is motivated by the phenomenon that all parents want their children's education to be good, so they pay attention and optimize for his child's education. The existence of this need then humansare encouraged to fulfill it. This impulse is called motivation. In this case, of course the role of motivation is very important. How teachers make efforts to be able to grow and give motivation so students do goodlearning activities. The purpose of this study is (1) To find out whether there is an influence of learning motivation on student achievement in SMA 2 BURU. (2) To find out how much influence the motivation of learning on student achievement in SMA 2 BURU. This research uses a quantitative approach with adescriptive type. The population is at BURU 2 Senior High School, totaling 220 students. using purposive random sampling technique. The sample was 79 students. Research methods using questionnaire anddocumentation. All instruments have met the requirements as a measurement requirement, because they have tested so that it meets the validity test requirements using product correlation and reliability using Cronbach alpha, and has passed the test precondition. Data analysis using T-test and a large percentageof the influence using the coefficient of determination Adjuster R Square. The results showed that (1) there was a significant effect of Learning Motivation on Learning Achievement evidenced from the value ofTcount> Ttable namely 3.731> 1.9915 and Sig <0.05, namely 0.000 <0.05 (with a level of 5%). (2) The magnitude of the influence of the Adjusted R square determination coefficient of 35.9% so that the effect oflearning motivation (X), on learning achievement (Y) is weak positive means that if the variable X rises then the variable Y does not rise weakly or together all variables will rise significantly and the remaining65.1% is explained by other variables outside the variables used.KEYWORD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran komite sekolah dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan SMK negeri dan SMK swasta di Kabupaten Lamongan sebagai badan pertimbangan, badan pendukung, badan pengontrol, dan badan penghubung.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi. Populasi sebanyak 61 SMK (enam SMK negeri dan 55 SMK swasta). Sampel sebanyak 42 SMK (empat SMK negeri dan 38 SMK swasta) ditentukan dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala Likert. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Peran komite sekolah dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan SMK negeri secara keseluruhan termasuk dalam kategori baik. Peran yang paling tinggi adalah sebagai badan pertimbangan, kemudian sebagai badan pendukung, dan sebagai badan penghubung, sedangkan peran yang paling rendah adalah sebagai badan pengontrol. (2) Peran komite sekolah dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan SMK swasta secara keseluruhan termasuk dalam kategori baik. Peran yang paling tinggi adalah sebagai badan pendukung, kemudian sebagai badan penghubung, dan sebagai badan pertimbangan, sedangkan peran yang paling rendah adalah sebagai badan pengontrol. THE ROLESOF THE SCHOOL COMMITTEE IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN LAMONGAN REGENCY, EAST JAVAAbstractThis study is aimedat investigating the roles of the school committee in the implementation of state vocational high schools (VHS) and private VHSs in Lamongan Regency, as anadvisory agency, supporting agency, controlling agency, and mediator agency.This study isanevaluation. The population was 61 VHSs (six state VHSs and 55 private VHSs). A sample of 42 VHSs (four state VHSs and 48 private VHSs) was established using the proportional random sampling technique. The data collection used a questionnaire with Likert scale. The data analysis used the quantitative descriptive analysis.The results show as follows. (1) The overall role of the school committee in the implementation of state VHSs is in a good category. The highest is the role as the advisory agency, then the role as the supporting agency, and the role as the mediator agency, while the lowest is the role as the controlling agency. (2) The overall role of the school committee in the implementation of private VHSs is in a good category. The highest is the role as the supporting agency, then the role as the mediator agency, and the role as the advisory agency, while the lowest is the role as the controlling agency.

This research is motivated by the low learning achievement of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 6 Lubuk Basung, this is forgotten because the use of smartphones in students is not good. This study aims to describe the use of smartphones in class VIII students, describe student achievement in class VIII, and see the relationship between smartphone use and student achievement in class VIII at SMP Negeri 6 Lubuk Basung. This type of research is quantitative with correlational descriptive technique. The population was all class VIII students and the sample was taken using a sampling technique, namely cluster random sampling. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula and product moment correlation. The results showed that: the use of smartphones in students was classified as poor, student learning achievement was low, and there was a significant relationship between smartphone use and student achievement in class VIII. Furthermore, it is recommended for schools to apply strict rules regarding the use of smartphones in students so that they can affect student achievement. Hope for educators and parents to be able to monitor the use of smartphones on students to avoid negative things and decrease student achievement. For further researchers to see other variables related to student achievement.

This research aims to get information about how big the effect adversity quotient toward Student’s Learning Motivation in Economics at the Sttate Senior High School of 2 Siak Hulu. The background of the research were some student cheated in doing their tasks, they did not submit their assignment on time, they did not bring their economics textbooks, and they did not study seriously. This was a quantitative research. The subject of this research was the eleventh grade students whose major were sosial science. The object of this research was the effect adversity quotient to word students’s learning motivation. The number of sample of this research were 127 students. The research used random sampling technique. The data collection technique used was questionares and documentations. This technique of analysis used to examine the hypothesis was simple linier regression. Based on the result of the research and data analysis, it was found that ro (observasi) 0,688 bigger than rt (tabel) with the level of sifnificance 5% (0,1743) and 1% (0,2278) at (0,1743<0,688>0,2278) or that there is a significant effect of adversity quotient toword students’ learning motivation in economics at the State Senior High School of 2 Siak Hulu. The percentage of adversity quotient effect toward students’ learning motivation was 47,3% while the rest 52,7% was influenced by other variables which were not included in this research.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parents' attention on learning achievement in English, the effect of learning motivation on learning achievement in English and to determine the effect of parents' attention and motivation to learn on learning achievement in English simultaneously. The research method used was a survey. The sample size was 52 students; with the sampling technique used was random sampling. Hypothesis testing uses 2-way ANOVA test. The results showed that there was a significant influence of parents' attention and motivation to learn together on students' English learning achievement at MTsN 6 East Jakarta, as evidenced by the value of Sig = 0,000 < 0.05 and F count = 26.255. There was a significant influence of parents’ attention on students' English learning achievement at MTsN 6 East Jakarta, as evidenced by the value of Sig = 0.001 < 0.05 and t arithmetic = 3.380. There was a significant influence of learning motivation on students' English learning achievement in MTsN 6 East Jakarta, as evidenced by the value of Sig = 0.004 < 0.05. Parental attention and learning motivation had a significant effect on learning achievement.

This study aimed to examine emotional intelligence significantly influence students’ economic learning achievement and stimulatingly examine the effect of intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence on student’s economic learning achievement in SMA Negeri 1 Soppeng. Afterward, this study included as descriptive quantitative study. Population the study was all students of SMA Negeri 1 Soppeng which is 955 students. 90 students were chosen as sample, using simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used questionnaire and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive analysis, analysis test requirements, and data analysis used SPSS 21 program. Result of this study showed that intellectual intelligence variable significantly influence on economic learning achievement of students; emotional intelligence variable significantly influences the economic learning achievement of students; spiritual intelligence variable significantly effects the economic learning achievement of students; and There was significant variables of intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence on the economic learning achievement. Determination coefficient of X1, X2, and X3 to Y (r2Y.123) was 0,153 which showed that intellectual, emotional, spiritual intelligence factors have contribution to influence economic learning achievement of students in SMA Negeri 1 Soppeng that was 15,3%, while 84,7% was influenced by another variable that was not analyzed.

The low student achievement is indicated because it is influenced by the level of game online and students learning motivation. The purposes of this study are 1) to determine the effect of online game addiction and learning motivation on learning achievement. 2) what is the percentage of the effect of online game addiction and learning motivation on learning achievement. Amounted 132 students with a sample 100 students who were determined by taking Non-Probability Sampling with the Accidental Sampling technique. To collect the data used questionnaire. Data analysis using regression test. The results of this study indicate that online game addiction and learning motivation contribute to student achievement by 65.1%. This means that 65.1% of the factors that effect student achievement are game addiction and learning motivation. The results obtained in this study can be used as input for BK teachers in an effort to reduce online game addiction and learning motivation with student achievement.

One of the efforts taken by the company to improve morale is to meet the promotion appropriately, because when promotions are met then the employee will contribute optimum morale. The purpose of this study is to investigate the implementation of a promotion, the condition of employee morale and job promotion role in improving employee morale at PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Persero) Branch Garut Retail.The analytical method used in this research is descriptive and verification method. Descriptive method used to determine the implementation of promotion and conditions of employee morale at PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Persero) branch of Garut Retail, the verification method used to determine the role of promotion in improving employee morale at the office of PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Persero) branch Retail Garut.The method used is survey explanation. The process of sampling carried out by random sampling technique. The sample size is 65 people. The data collection was conducted using questionnaires, interviews, and literature.These results indicate that the promotion included in the category of good, as well as morale is also high. It is seen that the coefficient of determination variable X amounted to 16.56%, and the remaining 83.44% is the influence of other factors. Spearman Rank Correlation promotion variables play a role in improving employee morale with a yield of 0,407 and have a relationship and the variables that are significant
