Domestic Violence (DV) is defined as every act against a person, especially a woman, resulting in physical, sexual, psychological, or neglectful misery or suffering. In addition to alleviating problems through legal channels, other things that can be done is through guidance and counseling services. This research is a preliminary research in order to find the model of settlement of cases of domestic violence. The research method used is quantitative. The sample in this study was 63 women victims of violence. Data were collected through Indonesian Domestic Violence for Woman questionnaire. Data were analyzed descriptively to obtain a description of domestic violence experienced by women. Further data are analyzed with independent sample t test to see the difference of violence which is natural for woman based on marriage age. The results of the study showed that (1) the most frequent violence experienced by women was psychic violence, (2) there was a significant difference in violence experienced by women victims of domestic violence where the average of violence experienced by women with low marriage age (under 10 years) High compared with higher marriage age (above 10 years). Further discussed counseling and guidance services to help women victims of domestic violence.

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the number of students from non-intact families lacking self-confidence, thus causing him to be less able to see himself positively. The purpose of this study is to see the difference in self-concept of students from intact families and families not intact. This research is a quantitative type of research with a comparative descriptive method. The population in this study were all students of SMP 25 Padang in the 2018/2019 academic year, totaling 744 students. The total sample of 260 students (150 students from intact families and 110 students from non-intact families) was selected using the Stratified Random Sampling technique. The research instrument used was a Likert scale questionnaire. Data were analyzed by percentage formula technique and formula t test with the help of SPSS for Windows 16. 0. The results revealed that (1) self-concept of students from intact families were in the high category (2) self-concept of students from non-intact families in the category quite high, and (3) there is a significant difference between the self-concept of students from intact families and non-intact families with a significant level of 0,000. Based on the results of the study it was suggested to counselors to be able to provide guidance and counseling services, information services, individual counseling services, group guidance services and group counseling services to students from non-intact families, in order to help students realize positive self-concepts.

Current study aims to reveal the problems that pre-school teachers and parents face, in relation to guidance and counseling services, at schools without psychological counselors. The purpose of including pre-school teachers and parents in the current study was to find out both whether they considered the guidance and counseling services a need and whether their methods of intervention against the problems that they face were functional. The current research was designed with interview technique as a qualitative study method. Research data were collected through a semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher. The researcher met the participants individually and asked the questions on the interview form for the current research. The responses that the participants provided were recorded and later transferred onto computer environment. The study group, formed based on voluntary participation, included total 30 participants with 15 pre-school teachers and 15 parents of pre-school children. Pre-school teacher participants 10 females and 5 males, worked for five different preschools in Adiyaman. Total 15 parents in the study group included nine females and six males. An examination of pre-school teachers’ responses based on the current study findings indicated that majority of the teachers did not prepare an annual counseling and guidance plan. Another finding of the current study was that children of most parents and teachers experience adjustment problems in pre-school. Another finding of the current research is about children’s individual problems. Main individual problems that parents experienced with their children included self-care and social development.

Guidance and Counseling in schools is a service that is held as one of the support of teaching and learning activities in schools. In its day-to-day activities guidance and counseling is organized by Guidance and Counseling teachers to implement four areas of counseling, counseling services, support activities that all can assist students in learning in school and living everyday life as learners. Based on its activities a Guidance and Counseling teacher needs to master the governance of Guidance and Counseling services in school, because a teacher Guidance and Counseling is a manager and implementer of every Guidance and Counseling service in school. Guidance and Counseling Teachers should be able to design Guidance and Counseling programs, make measurements, archive all counseling data relating to students to the evaluation. All such activities are called governance of Guidance and Counseling services in schools. Thus a Guidance and Counseling teacher has a significant role in governance of counseling and guidance services for students at school. A significant role of teachers Guidance and Counseling can help students in developing personality and ultimately students can plan their future according to capabilities possessed. The purpose of education in kindergarten in general is to help the growth and development of physical and spiritual to have readiness in entering further education, develop personality and self-potential in accordance with the stage of development of learners and help lay the groundwork toward the development of attitude, knowledge, skills , and the creative power required by the students to adapt to their environment and to further growth and development. In an effort to achieve the goal of education, it is possible students have various psychological problems that require the existence of guidance and counseling services. For that, it needs a deep and thorough understanding of the implementation of guidance and counseling in kindergarten. This paper discusses the theoretical importance of counseling and guidance services in kindergarten, preparation and implementation and evaluation of guidance and counseling programs in kindergarten.

The low interest of students in counseling and guidance services can be seen from the lack of students who come by themselves in the room for guidance and counseling. The problem examined in this study is how the active role of teacher guidance and counseling on the interest of guidance and counseling services in class VIII D of SMP Negeri 3 Banjarbaru. So the purpose of this study is to find out how much the active role of teachers is guidance and counseling on the interest of counseling and counseling services for class VIII D of SMP Negeri 3 Banjarbaru. This research method is to use Qualitative methods. The research subjects in this study amounted to ten students of class VIII D. Data collection methods in this study used, observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that class VIII D students in SMP Negeri 3 Banjarbaru have a pretty good interest in counseling and guidance services carried out in their schools, but these students do not take advantage of existing services because of lack of motivation or self-desire to use the service. So that the active role of teacher guidance and counseling in handling this is to provide motivation to students so that the guidance given to students has an impact on good change. This research is based on phenomena that occur in the Bhakti Bangsa Vocational School which shows that many students commit violations and school rules. The purpose of this research is to overcome school undisciplined behavior through counseling with contractual engineering behavioral approaches.The type of research used is handling cases. Research focus is behavior that often violates discipline. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used is data reduction, data review and description. Research subjects are students who have undisciplined behavior problems.The results showed that the fourth counseling before counseling had undisciplined behavior in school. There are students caught storing indecent videos so that they are embarrassed and do not want to go to school for a few days, often do not go to class without explanation, often skip school because they like to play online games at the cafe, often go home sooner before the school bell rings. After being given counseling services with behavioral contractual behavioral approach, counselees begin to understand the importance of school.Overall counseling conclusions on counselees who have undisciplined behavior can be overcome through individual counseling with a contractual behavioral approach. It is proven that there are behavioral changes that are not disciplined to be more disciplined. School counselors are expected to be able to overcome the problem of students through counseling and guidance services, especially counseling with a contractual behavioral approach to address undisciplined behavior, accompanying, motivating and always monitoring the counselee's progress in order to continue to commit to no more school discipline violations. The headmaster is expected to be able to facilitate the counselor in the implementation of guidance and counseling services and supervise the development of problematic students. Keywords: Discipline, Behavior Approach, Guidance and Counseling Teachers

<p>One of the problems faced by juvenile inmates is excessive fear experienced when interacting with new people when they are free to undergo a sentence or also called social anxiety, which requires guidance and counseling services. Guidance and counseling services are one strategy that can be used in alleviating social anxiety faced by prisoners. This article discusses counseling and guidance services that can be done to help alleviate social anxiety of juvenile inmates, which includes Social Anxiety for adolescent inmates and counseling and guidance services, including individual counseling services, group counseling, group counseling. With this service can be given optimal service to adolescent inmates in alleviating the problems faced.</p>

This research is aimed at describing the condition of both male and female students’ self-efficacy and identifying the difference. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive-comparative. The samples included 221 students. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics normal curve by determining the mean (average); calculating the percentage that exists in a particular category and analyzing t-test. The findings of the research showed 42.7% of male students’ self-efficacy are at moderate category of and 47.2% of female students are at high category. This research also revealed a significant difference of both female and male students’ self-efficacy. The implication of the research is it is expected that counselors provide guidance and counseling services to improve and develop self-efficacy, especially towards male students as self-efficacy of male students is lower than female students.

Students often exert an excessive emotional reaction to a problem, thus often acting irrationally. Therefore, students need adequate emotional regulation ability. Factors that affect emotional regulation one of them is culture. This research aimed atdescribing differences in emotional regulation between students of Bugis and Malay cultural background and the implications of counseling services. This research used quantitative method of comparative descriptive type. The sample of this research is students of Bugis and Malay background of RiauUniversityconsisting of 168 students. Purposive sampling was used as the sample technique. The instrument used was an emotional regulation questionnaire with Likert scale model. The results of students' emotional regulation reliability of 0.880. Data were analyzed using t-test technique. The results of the data analysis showed that the students' emotional regulation in terms of cultural background was clasdified into high category; there is no significant difference which means that no difference between student emotional regulation of Bugis and Malay cultural background
