Research objectives generally aim to identify and analyze the lecturer's competence in supporting courses, classroom management, and communication effectiveness between the lecturer and students in the lecture process that have positive and significant influence on the lecturer's performance. The population is the English Education Study Program students totaling 335 person with 110 respondents that have been determined using the Cohen formula. The sampling adopts the proportional stratified random sampling technique. The data collection is conducted using the questionnaire technique with Likert scale. The data analysis is examined quantitatively by applying descriptive statistics, simple correlation and two-tailed regression analysis with the significance level of 0.05. The analysis output shows that the competence in supporting the subject matter, classroom management, and the communication effectiveness in the learning process all are categorized as moderate. These influencing factors on the lecturer's teaching performance collectively have a positive and significant influence on the lecturer's performance.

The results showed that the conduciveness (t = 2.992; p = .003), diversity acceptance (t = 3.243; p = .001), disciplines engagement (t = 3.968; p = .000), and corrective decision (t = 3.045; p = .003) partially contributed positive and significant influence towards lecturers’ 28.8% teaching performance, where F = 21.209; R² = .288; p < .000. The analysis discloses two-tailed regression with Y = 12.660 + .225X1 + .175X2 + .237X3 + .142X4.

This study was carried out to define the students’ perception of digital literacy competencies as learning sources held by the students of English Education Study Program of STKIP Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung as active users of internet pointed on the internet searching, hypertext navigation, content evaluation, and knowledge assembly by theory of Paul Gilster (1997). This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. Subjects in this research were 9 students determined using a purposive sampling technique, with the subject criteria is the students who are actively using the internet more than 4 hours a day to browse the internet as educational sources. The results of this research indicate that all of the respondents are not literate yet because they do not have all the indicators in digital literacy. But, only one of nine students answered all the indicators on digital literacy, the respondent has stated as well competencies in internet searching, hypertext navigation, content evaluation, and knowledge assembly. So, from the indicators of digital literacy competencies, it can be implied that only one of nine students who have a good perception of digital literacy as learning sources.

This study aims to determine; (i) whether there is a positive and significant influence on the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) model and classroom management on the learning motivation of students PPKn at SMP Negeri 8 Makassar, (ii) whether there is a positive and significant effect of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) model on the learning motivation of students PPKn at SMP Negeri 8 Makassar, (iii) whether there is a positive and significant influence of classroom management on the learning motivation of PPKn learners at SMP Negeri 8 Makassar. This type of research used in this research is quantitative with survey methods. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 8 Makassar, amounting to 440. The sampling technique was Simple Random Sampling technique with a total sample of 195. Data collection techniques used were collected through questionnaire, and documentation.The results of this study indicate that (i) there is a positive and significant influence on the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) model and classroom management on the learning motivation of students PPKn at SMP Negeri 8 Makassar. Shown with the Fcount value of 108.104 > Ftable 3.04. While the significance level is 0,000 < 0.05 and simultaneously there are 53% of the contribution of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) model and classroom management to the learning motivation of students PPKn at SMP Negeri 8 Makassar. (ii) there is a positive and significant influence between the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) learning model on the learning motivation of students PPKn at SMP Negeri 8 Makassar. Shown by the tcount 12, 749 > ttable 1.645 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. and (iii) there is a positive and significant effect between classroom management on students' learning motivation of PPKn at SMP Negeri 8 Makassar. Shown tcount 11, 365 > ttable 1.645 with a significance of 0,000 < 0.05

This study was aimed to identify the informality of request as politeness strategies used by the students of English Education study Program (English department) of Unrika Batam.The data was obtained from request spoken by the student of English department students. The data taken based on cluster sampling due the homogeneous data. The data was students of morning class of semester seven. This study concluded that The usage of bu, ma, mah (means mother)  five data and yah, pak, and pa (means father or daddy), the speaker respects to the hearer’s face by addressing her as mom. This considered her position is upper position; this does not threaten her face. This is used informally to her mother in relaxed situation. The usage of imperative sentences are four data when the hearer asks her young sister  to take the glass, then the subject asks her big sister to buy her dress, when she asks her young sister to take chilly and when the subject ask the money to pay rental house. This sentences forces her face’s hearer. This shows negative face. The last is speaker states “adek” young sister to her father means to soften request to her father due to the father will usually fulfill the young child.

This research aimed to find out the students’ access to ICT application and how far ICT application helps students in mastering English language skills faced by English students of English Education Study Program at the University of Bengkulu in the 2020/2021 academic year. This research was an explanatory sequential mixed methods design. The population of this research was English students of English Education Study Program at the University of Bengkulu. The sample of this research was selected by using purposive sampling technique, totaling 80 students for questionnaire and 24 students for interview. The data were collected by using questionnaire and interview. The instruments were consisted of 15 items adapted from Dang Hoang Tri and Nhung Hong Thi Nguyen (2014). This research used Microsoft Excel to analyze the data.  The result of this study showed that students access 15 ICT applications in English learning. Also, researcher found that the majority of students have positive perception towards ICT application can help students in mastering English language skills.

The problem of this study was concerned with British Parliamentary Debate Style Training to improve second semester students’ speaking ability at English Education Study Program at Baturaja University. The objective of this study was to find out whether it was significantly effective or not to implement British Parliamentary Debate Style Training to improve second semester students’ speaking ability at English Education Study Program at Baturaja University. This study used pre experimental design covered pre test before the treatment and post test after the treatment. The second semester students of English Education Study Program at Baturaja University were the population. The number of the population was 18 students. The researcher took class A as a sample by using cluster random sampling. Based on the calculation, the sample of the study was 12 students and the significance level (α = 0.05). The result of paired t test has value of ttest (5.033) was more than the value of ttabel (2.2009) with df = 12-1 = 11. The value of Sig. (2-tailed) was 0.000 lower than the value of significance level (α = 0.05). This result showed that the alternative Hypostudy (Ha) was accepted. It meant that British Parliamentary Debate Style Training could improve second semester students’ speaking ability of English Education Study Program. This study aims to determine whether the impact of Yongmoodo military martial sports on the self-confidence of TNI-AD members. The method used is the ex post facto method which is a research method used to solve or answer the problems faced in the current situation. The population in this study were members of the Indonesian Armed Forces in the Army Pangalengan. The sample used amounted to 27 people selected through simple random sampling technique. The instrument used was in the form of a questionnaire with the number of questions used 35 questions with instrument reliability 0.893. The results of the test of significance level indicate that the value of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0,000 smaller than <0.05, which means that there is a significant influence of Yongmoodo martial arts on the confidence of members of the Army. The results of processing the confidence percentage data were 91.78%, with sub-variables of confidence in self-ability 92.59%, optimistic 82.96%, objective 90.33%, and responsible 91.85%, rational and realistic 89, 38%. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant influence on the yongmoodo military martial arts against the confidence of members of the TNI-AD SECATA, Pangalengan.

The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of listening murottal Quran to reduce insomnia level in student. The research subjects were chosen by purposive sampling technique. The subject of this research were 5 students who experienced insomnia and measured using insomnia severity index. This research using one group pretest-posttest design experiment.  Murottal Quran, Surah Ar-Rahman, was heard using MP3 player, with duration of 16.00 minutes for 8 days before bedtime. The results of data testing using Wilcoxon test find a significance level of 0.031 (p <0.05), pretest mean is 17.6, and posttest mean is 11.6. The results show that listening to murottal Quran is effective in reduced insomnia levels in students.

Salah satu modal menjadi guru yang profesional adalah menguasai keterampilan dasar mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat penguasan keterampilan dasar mengajar mahasiswa pendidikan matematika Universitas pasir pengaraian pada praktek micro teaching. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan ex post facto yaitu mengungkapkan fakta yang terjadi tanpa ada manipulasi variabel atau menciptakan kondisi tertentu. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika yang mengambil mata kuliah micro teaching pada tahun akademik 2015/2016 sebanyak 23 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode dokumentasi dan observasi. Instrument penelitian adalah angket yang telah divalidasi oleh pakar yaitu dosen pengampu micro teaching. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif untuk menggambarkan tingkat penguasaan keterampilan dasar mengajar mahasiswa berdasarkan tabel kecenderungan dengan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Melalui Penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan membimbing diskusi berada pada kategori sangat terampil. Keterampilan menjelaskan, keterampilan bertanya, keterampilan memberi penguatan dan keterampilan membuat variasi dalam pembelajaran berada pada kategori terampil. Keterampilan mengelola kelas berada pada kategori cukup terampil sedangkan keterampilan membuka dan menutup pembelajaran termasuk ke dalam kriteria tidak terampil. Kata Kunci: keterampilan dasar mengajar, micro teaching, ex post facto One of basic skills to be a professional teacher is how to be a master in basic teaching skill. This research aimed to have valid information about basic teaching skill of Educational Mathematics Study Program at University of Pasir Pengaraian by practicing it in micro teaching subject. This is description quantitative research by using ex post facto method that revelaled the fact in the field without any manipulation of variable or making a good condition. The subject of this research is the student of Educational Mathematics Study Program who took a micro teaching subject in academic years 2015/2016 those were 23 sudents. The data were collected by documentation and observation. The instrument of research is questionnaire which was validated by expert of micro teachings. The data were analized by description technique that can describe level basic of teaching skill of the students that can be seen in willingness table that has been decided. The result of this research concluced that guiding discussion skill was at exellence category, the explaning skill, question skill, reinforcement skill and make the variation stimulus skill were all in good ability category. Classroom management skill was categorized low ability. The opening and closing class skills were catgeorized poor ability. Keywords: basic teaching skill, micro teaching
