POSITIVE AND SIGNIFICANT FACTORS INFLUENCING ON THE LECTURER'S TEACHING PERFORMANCE
Research objectives generally aim to identify and analyze the lecturer's competence in supporting courses, classroom management, and communication effectiveness between the lecturer and students in the lecture process that have positive and significant influence on the lecturer's performance. The population is the English Education Study Program students totaling 335 person with 110 respondents that have been determined using the Cohen formula. The sampling adopts the proportional stratified random sampling technique. The data collection is conducted using the questionnaire technique with Likert scale. The data analysis is examined quantitatively by applying descriptive statistics, simple correlation and two-tailed regression analysis with the significance level of 0.05. The analysis output shows that the competence in supporting the subject matter, classroom management, and the communication effectiveness in the learning process all are categorized as moderate. These influencing factors on the lecturer's teaching performance collectively have a positive and significant influence on the lecturer's performance.
