The problem of this study was concerned with British Parliamentary Debate Style Training to improve second semester students’ speaking ability at English Education Study Program at Baturaja University. The objective of this study was to find out whether it was significantly effective or not to implement British Parliamentary Debate Style Training to improve second semester students’ speaking ability at English Education Study Program at Baturaja University. This study used pre experimental design covered pre test before the treatment and post test after the treatment. The second semester students of English Education Study Program at Baturaja University were the population. The number of the population was 18 students. The researcher took class A as a sample by using cluster random sampling. Based on the calculation, the sample of the study was 12 students and the significance level (α = 0.05). The result of paired t test has value of ttest (5.033) was more than the value of ttabel (2.2009) with df = 12-1 = 11. The value of Sig. (2-tailed) was 0.000 lower than the value of significance level (α = 0.05). This result showed that the alternative Hypostudy (Ha) was accepted. It meant that British Parliamentary Debate Style Training could improve second semester students’ speaking ability of English Education Study Program. This research paper aims at finding whether the students’ ability in listening can be improved by activating students’ previous knowledge. The research was conducted at English education study program of faculty of IKIP Siliwangi Bandung. The research used random sampling class and test by giving pretest and post test. Two classes are experimental class and control class, when the experimental class  got a better score than control class.The experimental class was increased in listening ability. Most of the student’s of experimental class students’ stay in fair category.

This research aimed to analyze the relationship between students history mastery and historical conciousness. This study was an ex-postfacto research with correlational research design. The population of research was all students of History Education Study Program of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Metro Muhammadiyah University. The sample was taken using disproportionate stratified random sampling. The instruments used to collect the data were test and questionnare. Techniques of analyzing data used were correlation analysis, simple regressions at significance level of 5%. The result of research showed that the hypotheses there are was a positive significant relationship between students history mastery and historical consciousness.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap prestasi belajar kimia siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 1 Narmada Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan post test only control group design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling karena anggota populasi sudah homogen berdasarkan data nilai ujian semester ganjil siswa kelas XI IPA. Kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Post test digunakan sebagai instrumen utama penelitian, selain itu portofolio juga digunakan sebagai instrumen kedua penelitian ini. Hasil uji beda (uji-t) post test dengan taraf signifikan 5% menunjukkan thitung (4,105) > ttabel (2,000) sehingga H0 ditolak. Uji-t dilakukan juga pada hasil portofolio yang menunjukkan thitung (2,89) > ttabel (2,000). Berdasarkan kedua hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis proyek memberikan pengaruh yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model konvensional terhadap prestasi belajar kimia siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 1 Narmada Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014.Kata Kunci: Model pembelajaran berbasis proyek, prestasi belajar kimia Abstract: The objective of the research was to know the effect of Project-Based Learning towards the student’s chemistry learning achievement class XI IPA of SMAN 1 Narmada in 2013/2014 academic year. This research used a quasi-experimental research design with the design of post-test only control group design. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique because members of populations have homogeneous based on data value semester exams of class XI science students. Class XI IPA 1 as experimental group was threated by project-based learning model and class XI IPA 3 as control group was threated by conventional learning models. Post test is used as an basic instrument. In addition, the portofolio is as a second instrument of this research.. The results of post-test hypothesis test using a different test (t-test) with a significance level of 5% showed tacc (4.105)> ttable (2.000) so that H0 is rejected. Hypothesis testing is also performed on the results of portfolio show tacc (2.89)> ttable (2.000). Based on these results, we can conclude that project-based learning model provides give a better effect than the conventional models of the student’s chemistrylearning achievement class XI IPA of SMAN 1 Narmada in 2013/2014 academic year.Keywords:     project-based learning model, the students’s chemistry achievement learning

This research was aimed to know how far the students’ understanding of digital literacy, to know how high the students’ writing originality, and to know the correlation between students’ understanding of digital literacy and students’ writing originality. Digital literacy is someone’s capability to use the digital device, receive, communicate process, evaluate, and share the information cognitively and technically. Originality is emphasized in writing because it is used as the measurement of the writers’ idea and creativity in writing. This research used correlational study to check the correlation between variable. The population of this research was the 2015th generation of English Education Department Students of IAIN Salatiga. It used cluster random sampling to decide the sample of this research. Class A was used as the sample of the research that consisted of 32 students. The data that was collected was analyzed using SPSS 20. Based on the data analysis, it resulted that r(count) 0.83 > r (table) 0.349. From the result, it can be concluded that there was positive perfect correlation between digital literacy understandings with student’s writing originality

Abstract. The aim of this study was to see the learning outcomes of Civic Education subjects by using the Blended Learning model that based on Edmodo at the Faculty of Education of the Islamic University of North Sumatra. The population in this study amounted to 156 students and a sample of 59 students in the school year 2017/2018. The sample was taken using cluster random sampling technique and selected a total of 32 students from the History Education study program and 27 students of the Pancasila and Civic Education study program. Hypothesis testing is done by using one-way analysis of variance (Anava) at a 0.05 level of significance using the SPSS 24.0 for Windows program. Test the hypothesis in this study using an independent T test. Based on the T test results obtained a significance value of 0.032 with a significant value of 0.032 <0.05 which rejects H0 and accepts H1. Based on the hypothesis test, it can be concluded that there are differences in learning outcomes of Citizenship Education courses for History Education students and students of the Pancasila and Civic Education Study program. Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat hasil belajar Mata Kuliah Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran blended Learning berbasis Edmodo di Fakultas Kependidikan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 156 mahasiswa dan sampelnya berjumlah 59 mahasiswa pada tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling dan terpilih program studi Pendidkan Sejarah berjumlah 32 mahasiswa dan program studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan berjumlah 27 mahasiswa. Uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis varians (Anava) one way pada taraf signifikansi 0.05 dengan menggunakan program SPSS 24.0 for Windows. Uji hipotesis pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji T independen. Berdasarkan hasil uji T diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,032 dan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,032<0,05 yang menolak H0 dan menerima H1. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar matakuliah PKn pada mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Sejarah dan mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan.

<p><em>This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using blended learning flipped classroom model on learning outcomes for Japanese conversation.  The method used in this study is pre-experimental, with one group pre-test post-test design. The population in this study were students of the Japanese Language Education Study Program, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2019/2020 academic year with a sample of 22 students of Kaiwa III. The instrument used were tests, in the form of a pretest-posttest, and questionnaire. From the statistical data calculation based on the results of the pretest and the posttest show that the t<sub>table</sub> value at the 5% significance level is 2.018, while the t<sub>calculate</sub> value in this study is 4.08. Since the t<sub>calculate</sub> is higher that the t<sub>table</sub> , it shows that the hypothesis alternative (Ha) of this study is accepted, which proved the using of flipped classroom model on learning outcomes for Japanese conversation is effective.</em></p>

To write an ‘attention grabbing’ paragraph, the students should do a lot of practices in writing. However, the fact showed that writing skill was frightening and boring skill to learn as lecturers applied boring and monotonous teaching technique. Thus, the present research was mainly intended to answer the following questions: how effective is simultaneous roundtable in improving the students’ genre-based paragraph writing ability? and how do the students respond the application of simultaneous roundtable in teaching genre-based paragraph writing? The subjects of this research were two classes of the second semester students of English Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Mahasaraswati Denpasar University which consisted of 62 students altogether. The design of the present study was classroom action research which were carried out in three cycles. The progressing results of the pre-test, post-test 1, 2 and 3 confirmed that simultaneous roundtable was effective in improving genre-based paragraph writing ability. In addition, the results of the questionnaire showed that most of the subjects agreed on the application of simultaneous roundtable in teaching genre-based paragraph writing.

ABSTRAK            Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah  kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Fan-N-Pick berbantuan video pembelajaran lebih tinggi dari kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan post-test only group design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja pada semester II tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Uji kesetaraan sampel menggunakan uji-t. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas VIII A1 dan Kelas VIII A5 sebagai kelompok eksperimen serta siswa Kelas VIII A9 dan Kelas VIII A4 sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data tentang kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa diperoleh melalui tes uraian kemampuan koneksi matematis. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t satu ekor (ekor kanan) pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Pada kelas unggulan hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa thitung = 3.862 dengan taraf signifikansi 5% diperoleh ttabel = 1.671 dan pada kelas non unggulan hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa thitung = 6.054 dengan taraf signifikansi 5% diperoleh ttabel = 1.671  . Ini artinya, kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Fan-N-Pick berbantuan video pembelajaran lebih tinggi dari kemampuan matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajran konvensional. Kata Kunci :     Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Fan-N-Pick Berbantuan Video Pembelajaran, Pembelajaran Konvensional, Kemampuan Koneksi Matematis Siswa.ABSTRACT               This research aims to determine whether the students’ mathematical connection ability which learn with model cooperative learning type Fan-N-Pick aided learning video was higher than the students’ mathematical connection ability that learn by conventional learning. This research is a quasi-experiment research with post-test only group design. The population in this research was the students of SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja in the second semester of academic year 2017/2018. The sample of this research was determined by cluster random sampling technique. The process of equaliting the sampel was done by using t-test. The sample in this research was the  students of Class VIII A1 and Class VIII A5 as experimental group and students of Class VIII A9 and Class VIII A4 as control group. Data on students' mathematical connection capability was obtained through a mathematical connection capability test. Data were analyzed by using t-test of one tail (right tail) at 5% significance level. In the superior class, the result of analysis shows that tcount = 3.862 with significance level of 5% obtained ttable = 1.671 and in non-superior class analysis result show that tcount = 6,054 with significance level 5% obtained ttable = 1.671. This means that the students' mathematical connection ability which were taught with model cooperative learning type Fan-N-Pick aided learning video was higher than the students’ mathematical connection ability that learn by conventional learning.Keywords  :      Model Cooperative Learning Type Fan-N-Pick Aided Learning Video, Conventional Learning, Students’ Mathematical Connection Ability.

Pendahuluan : Osteoarthritis (OA) merupakan penyakit kronik progresif yang sering dialami oleh lansia. Kerusakan jaringan tulang rawan pada daerah sendi mengakibatkan rasa nyeri kronis yang kemudian menyebabkan gangguan pergerakan. Hambatan ini menyebabkan lansia membatasi aktivitas yang dikemudian hari akan mengarah pada penurunan mobilitas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi pengaruh pemberian masase jahe merah terhadap nyeri pada lansia dengan osteoarthritis. Metode : Jenis penelitian ini adalah true eksperimental dengan rancangan randomized control group pre-test post-test design. Responden akan terbagi dalam dua kelompok yakni kelompok dengan masase jahe merah dan kontrol. Teknik sampling menggunakan cluster random sampling sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 62 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah WOMAC. Uji statistik menggunakan paired t test, dan MANCOVA. Hasil : Dari 62 responden yang terdaftar, hanya 60 responden yang menyelesaikan penelitian. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa masase jahe merah berpengaruh terhadap penurunan respon nyeri (p = 0,001). Diskusi : Kombinasi intervensi masase dengan penggunaan minyak atsiri jahe merah secara simultan memberikan pengaruh yang baik terhadap penurunan nyeri pada lansia dengan osteoarthritis. Saran : Masase jahe merah dapat diterapkan sebagai perawatan komplementer untuk membantu menurunkan tingkat nyeri selain penggunaan obat-obatan standar pelayanan pada penyakit osteoarthritis.

This research was aimed to know  and to analyze how English students in University of Bengkulu, English Education Study program class A and B, academic year 2015/2016 pronounced English consonants /?/ and /ð/. The instrument used for collecting the data was recording. This research used qualitative and quantitative method. The result of this research showed most of English students pronounced English consonants /?/ and /ð/ incorrectly. It showed that the students were not good at pronouncing English consonants /?/ and /ð/ when they were located at the middle or at the final of the words. Based on the findings, the study concluded that the errors were caused by several reasons such as the sound of /?/ and /ð/ which did not exist in Bahasa Indonesia, the influence of similar sound with Bahasa Inonesia consonants /t/ and /d/, and also the carelessness
