Household’s Food security during the Covid 19 pandemic, through the use of yards, can be conducted by the community independently such as hydroponic. However, people's understanding of hydroponic, especially in Pekanbaru, is still limited. Therefore, training for the community is needed as a community empowerment. These activities can be expanded through interesting educational videos. This community empowerment activity aims to increase community knowledge and skills regarding hydroponic technology during the pandemic, and is expected to become a post-pandemic household-scale economic enterprise. This community service activity is carried out by means of training and mentoring, as well as making a video to be widely disseminated through social media. The results of the community service activities show an increase in community knowledge and skills of hydroponic. After the training, the community independently has been aplicating hydroponic technology and biulding hydroponic group. This process is documented as educational video which is useful for the wider community in Pekanbaru City.

Cassava is a type of plant that is easy to grow in various types of soil, and its cultivation method is relatively easy. The stems, leaves, and tubers of cassava have various benefits for human life. Limited knowledge and skills regarding the diversification of cassava-based processed products are an obstacle for which solutions must be sought. The purpose of this service activity is to empower the community, especially partners/target groups, through training on processing cassava into raw materials for processed food products. Community service activities carried out using training/mentoring and demonstrations/practices are one of the solutions that can be carried out for community empowerment. The results of community service activities show that all participants (100%) can actively participate in receiving all the knowledge and skills transferred and are interested in doing it themselves at home (100%). Processed products in the form of cassava flour will be consumed by themselves (77%) and sold (23%) with processed food products of cassava lunkhead (89%) and cassava noodles (11%), which were of high interest. This data shows that community service activities carried out by Palangka Raya University can contribute and become a solution to overcome problems faced by the community.

Social entrepreneurship can be a solution or model of community empowerment, especially women, in the handicraft industry. The handicraft industry was chosen because it was indicated in demand by the Bogor community and potentially contributed to the absorption of Bogor manpower and investment.  Based on this, community service activities are conducted on two target communities / partners, consisting of Children of Putri Bunda Orphanage, Dramaga and Mothers of PKK Situ Ilir Village, Cibungbulang District with the aim of forming Social entrepreneurship as a model of women empowerment through making the accessories based on patchwor.  The activity is done through several stages, which begins with socialization, held the training, after the entrepreneur walk, conducted assistance. The result of this community service activity is the formation of entrepreneur or business to make accessories made from woven waste patchwork.  Social entrepreneurship can be a solution to the improvement of the economy through community empowerment, especially women.

The website can be a center of information and communication for them. It is accelerating the flow of information and communication on oil palm growers. The purpose of this service activity is to create an android-based KUD website which contains information about cooperatives and information about oil palm plantations. Community service activities are carried out in Bukit Lingkar Village, one of potential villages in oil palm. In this village, an oil palm village cooperative with the name KUD Milik Bersama has also been established which is a partner in this activity. Activities are integrated with the Student project. Implementation of training activities is socialization and discussion activities. then practice making websites, assistance and coaching. The technical implementation of the activity is a combination of offline and online meetings. It is because Covid 19 pandemic. The implementers in the field are students. The results of this activity include the formation of a cooperative website with the name http: //www.koperasi kudmilikbersama.com, increasing farmers' knowledge and skills regarding media use, including a website with information related to oil palm farming. The establishment of a website manager, which is equipped with a website module.

The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge and competence of the community, especially housewives in clean and healthy living behavior, namely about washing hands with soap, so as to prevent the transmission of the Covid-19 disease. The method used in this service is counseling and community empowerment. The procedure for implementing this activity begins with a pretest, counseling, demonstration, mentoring, distribution of pocket books and leaflets and ends with a posttest. The results of this service activity show that there is an increase in the knowledge of the Dorpedu Village community regarding the implementation of CTPS, important times for the implementation of CTPS and the community is motivated to be consistent in implementing it, besides that facilities for washing hands with soap are already available as an effort to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 . Overall, the group of housewives was enthusiastic in participating in each of these service activities.

Community service activities (CSA) have been carried out using lecture methods, discussions, and practices regarding innovations in making healthy noodles without preservatives to provide information, knowledge, and skills regarding innovations in making healthy food and encourage and increase entrepreneurship homemakers. The innovation of making healthy noodles with ingredients without preservatives is considered vital because it is beneficial for health and as a step to utilize natural ingredients obtained in the surrounding environment. This activity was attended by 20 housewives in Sidomulyo Village, Medan Tuntungan District, Medan City, North Sumatra Province with different knowledge backgrounds. The CSA training that has been carried out provides understanding and skills to homemakers in processing natural ingredients into healthy food and can increase the economy because it can be commercialized. This CSA training also received a positive response from participants because it could practice directly, and the team provided the freedom to express opinions and develop ideas during the activity. This service activity was considered very useful as much as 65% and use as much as 35% of the questionnaire results distributed during the implementation of the activity. Through this CSA activity, it is hoped that the active role of participants in distributing knowledge and skills to the community in the surrounding environment is expected.

This community service activity aims to: (1) empower the community by assisting the making of cloth masks for PKK women in Balongbesuk Village, Diwek Jombang. (2) creating entrepreneurial value by producing cloth masks for the market. This activity was carried out for 7 meetings using three main methods, namely program socialization, provision of materials, training and mentoring. This research involved 15 PKK mothers in Balongbesuk Diwek Jombang Village. The results of this assistance to community service activities are (1) community empowerment goes well because PKK women are enthusiastic about participating in this activity (2) PKK women in Balongbesuk Diwek Jombang village are able to produce 200 pcs of cloth masks in good categories for their own consumption and the rest to be marketed.

The scope of exclusive breastfeeding has not met the set targets. One of the benefits of papaya leaves is ASI Booster (ASI booster), because it can increase milk production and protein levels. The purpose of this community service activity is to improve knowledge and skills about ASI and the technique of instant papaya leaves. The design is the pre test and post test level of knowledge and skills. The material is delivered by lecture and demonstration methods. The evaluation was carried out after the practice of instant making of papaya leaves by carrying out a post test and evaluating the establishment of a banner on the description of instant papaya leaf products and their benefits as ASI smoothers and meeting forums in the village to check information desemination. Community service activities were conducted in 3 meetings. The first meeting was the delivery of material about ASI, ASI smoothing, the benefits of papaya leaves, the technique of instant papaya leaves. The second meeting was the training of instant papaya leaves in the Semarang Department of Health's Health Polytechnic Department, which was attended by 3 cadres of Karangjati Village. The third meeting was carried out to socialize and practice the instant making of papaya leaves in Karangjati Village to the people of Karangjati village. The participants who participated in the community service activities were 30 residents of Karangjati Village, Blora Based on the paired t-test, the Sig. (2-tailed) knowledge of 0,000 (<0,05) and skills of 0,000 (<0,05), then there is the effect of training on instant making of papaya leaves as breast milk booster to the level of knowledge and skills.This community service provides many benefits for participants, namely for cadres and community members. The real form is the increasing knowledge of breast milk and ASI smoothers with the instant making of papaya leaves.

The purpose of this study is to provide knowledge and skills in the optimization of social media as a means of product marketing for Tsaqofi Community. This activity has been done with the e-learning method through the utilization of the WhatsApp group. This activity was held for a month involving nine participants. After participating in this activity, participants have understood the benefit of social media to develop their business. Participants also have practiced the theory given, so that they felt the positive advantage of community service activities.

Handicraft SMEs are one of the sectors affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The implementation of this community service activity aims to offer the right expansion strategy for MSMEs affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The scope of community service activities is limited to the Sukolilo Surabaya Handicraft SMEs. Some MSMEs have managed to survive and some have been less fortunate. The method of activity is to provide recommendations through virtual assistance activities through zoom and WhatsApp social media related to strategies to increase business and manage finances during the new normal era. The results of this community service activity include several MSMEs responding by diversifying their products and businesses. Second, partners with marketing problems have created accounts through the Instagram and Facebook applications and have participated in the exhibition agenda. Third, partners with financial problems have carried out simple financial management manually and using the SME Accounting application.

Mangrove ecosystems in Tanjung Rejo Village, Percut Sei Tuan Sub-district, Deli Serdang experienced a lot of land conversion in the form of residential, agricultural and plantation lands. This causes abrasion in this region because there is no protection from waves and sea waves in this region. Land conversion and abrasion caused many mangrove trees to die. Mangrove trees that died were only used on the trunk, twigs and leaves by local residents. Many parts of the dead mangrove roots are not utilized. This community service activity aims to provide information and skills to partner groups about the making of MAROCA. Through this activity, partners will gain knowledge and skills in making MAROCA so that materials that are not initially valuable like dead mangrove roots become useful. Based on the description of the problem and the purpose of this community service activity, the activities that have been carried out are counseling about the manufacturing of MAROCA, giving leaflets for the procedures for making and providing tools and materials. The results obtained are increased knowledge and skills of partners about the benefits of dead mangrove roots as economically valuable handicrafts.
