Professional training of music teacher is a versatile and creative process. It includes numerous areas, such as instrumental and vocal training, studying pedagogical technologies for working with children, studying masterpieces of world music art, and, certainly, studying digital resources and technologies. Digital education space is a digital environment integrating opportunities of digital education resources, computer-aided music technologies and tools, which is the basis in training music teacher. The importance of skills of setting as interactive accompaniment and basic user accompaniment in the form of phonogram is also stipulated by the specificity of accompaniment activity of music teacher as one of the major constituents of professional readiness. Imagination of music teacher as a concertmaster (accompanist of children singing) exerts the influence on whether he would be able by means of expressive playing and keyboard technique to underline and to support the temper of children singing, to present clearly and to reproduce instrument features by piano. That is, a music teacher should be aware of organology, know features of instrument sounding and peculiarities of various instruments. This is sufficiently aided by sequencer software with embedded banks of virtual tunes on synthesizer. In digital education space, video is presented as teaching aid for transfer of learning information, that is, it is considered as video aid, video device used for organization of education. Under existing conditions of distance learning, the interaction between teacher–choirmaster, teacher–vocalist, concertmaster, and students is supported by information and communication technologies. Therefore, mastering means and resources of digital education space is aimed at improved of professional training of future music teacher being the basis of formation of personal capabilities and skills of student.

The report presents the author’s experience in integrating modern ICT technologies in the process of teaching and learning in school. The emphasis is on the use of mobile devices and the integration of cloud technologies in schools. As an ICT teacher, the author provides some practical guidelines on how to apply innovation. The generation of 7 screens does not know a world without digital technologies and mobile communications. The discrepancy between the expectations of the digital generation and the reality in our schools is in terms of the information and communication technologies (ICT) used in them and the didactic models. Adolescents, when they find themselves in an environment that does not meet their expectations, are demotivated and redirect their attention to other objects and goals and stop being active in class. The use of the so-called. „Cloud“ technologies will significantly increase the interest and retention of students. The modern approach to building information systems is focused on developing solutions in which the collection, input and output of information is carried out through WEB-based applications or platforms.

The paper analyzes up-to-date distance learning technologies used in European education system for ensuring overall organization of the educational process during the COVID-19 pandemic. Quarantine conditions have become a catalyst for development and practical testing of virtual learning tools and innovative pedagogical technologies, and application of the experience with them is a necessity of today and a strategy for the future. The article is focused on distance learning technologies in higher education. Institutions of England, Germany and France are chosen for the study due to their banner quality of educational service, like the University of Oxford, for example. The basis for successful conduct of all types of classes is employment of universities’ own specialized learning platforms. The learning model remains more similar to the traditional one. The main role continues to belong to communication between qualified teachers and students through various interactive web applications, while digital technologies create space for such interaction, filling it with learning materials. Students get access to all educational services using a single password to the university network. At the same time, some learning materials are available with open access, video lectures and podcasts are popular. Unlike other countries, education in Germany is governed by strict principles of information and data protection. In the contrary, in France many courses have been made available on network, and the education system has instantly adapted to work in virtual mode through the developed system of national distance learning platforms and the massive open online courses. The result of effective distance learning organization in Europe during the pandemic is that the introduction of digital technologies and transition to more flexible learning models become the education strategy at the state level, while pedagogy becomes an area of advanced development of information and communication technologies. Key words: distance education, online learning, information and communication technologies, educational platforms, quarantine, COVID-19.

The growth of e-learning, particularly distance learning via e-learning, is widely recognised as a significant factor influencing higher education in the 21st century. The rapid and ongoing uptake of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for teaching and learning, along with the recognition that increased student engagement can lead to more effective learning, is changing the way in which teaching and learning occurs in universities. This chapter suggests that the distance learner is frequently overlooked in the current climate when it comes to consideration of student needs and that current applications of ICT for distance learning raises questions about the quality of their learning experience. The chapter discusses the role of the student voice in understanding and addressing students’ needs in relation to the quality of their learning experience and suggests that greater attention needs to be paid to the distinct voice of the distance education student. The chapter provides some methodologies for collecting the student’s voice and gives consideration to how addressing the distance learners’ voice to enhance their learning experience might be most effectively accomplished.

Processes of IT development in modern society and closely related processes of IT development in all forms of educational activities are characterized by the process of improvement and mass distribution of up-to-date information and communication technologies (ICT). Similar technologies are used extensively for communication and collaboration between the teacher and the student in modern open and distance learning. A modern teacher must not only have knowledge of ICT but also must be an expert on their application in his/her professional activity. In this case, application of such technology is closely related to distance learning and e-learning. In this paper, we intend to simulate and show outcomes of the development of e-learning support systems on the example of Tomsk State Pedagogical University (TSPU).

In North America, aural skills (as) are usually taught to children during the instrumental music lessons. While learning musical dictation and sight-singing can be difficult for some learners, the use of appropriate technological tools could facilitate the process. However, the use of information and communication technologies (ict) by music teachers in aural skills instruction to children have not been documented. An online survey was conducted in the Province of Quebec (Canada) in order to answer the following questions: 1) To what extent do instrumental music teachers use ict when teaching as to children between 6 and 12 years old?; 2) Are the teachers’ socio-demographic characteristics, as training and perception of as teaching linked to the use and the frequency of use of ict? The results show that the use of ict to teach as is still relatively uncommon. Furthermore, it would be negatively correlated with age, competence felt during training and perceived competence to teach as. Finally, it appears that a smaller proportion of piano teachers and women use ict, or use them less often. A better understanding of the teachers’ perception of technology could help develop more adapted resources.
