Abstract: The paper attempts to investigate the meaning of the dhammah vowel in the Holy Quran through a deductive descriptive method. The researchers had managed to conclude that this particular vowel mark with both its types: long and short comes from the extreme palate. Sounds which originate from this particular place normally need a particular effort to push it out to be articulated. This has resulted in a strong and firm sound; a character that is perhaps the reason of its usage in most of the Quranic verses which contain the message of warning and promises. It is observed as well that it’s presence is more noticeable in the verses which contain resentment and anger or in ordaining a certain harsh judgment or punishment. It is also present in verses containing instructions and prohibitions with both its types. The reason behind this is that the other vowel such as the fathah normally indicate joy and relaxation unlike the dhammah which indicates retraction, constriction, restlessness and emotion. It is like the sound of a rock smashing on a small body from a high place resulting in pain and torture. The study concluded that among the characteristics of the dhammah is to cast out doubt, to relief and express firmness and strength. Its presence indicates the strength in voice and expression. It also normally comes in a phrase form attached to a noun.Key words: Meaning– Dhommah– Phoneme– Vowels– Phrase. This research tackles two chapters from the Holy Quran, the sura of Prophet Yusuf, and the sura of the Cave (al-Kahf) to find out whether the theories of Leech (1983) and Brown and Levinson (1987) can be applied to find out the positive and negative politeness strategies and the politeness maxims. The Leech’s model (1983) consists of six maxims, and for Brown and Levinson (1987), consists of two major politeness strategies. It consists of two principles of politeness, where one of them is positive, and the other is negative politeness. This study deals with the Quranic treatment of extremism in terms of extremisms concept and semantics, types, causes, images,  and the Quranic approach in its treatment, and we try to link the Muslim to the Quran approach in the treatment of extremism as a problem which the individual and the old and new society suffer; Because extremism can be transformed from mere idea to apparent behavior while demonstrating that extremism in fact transcends the rules of law and divine orders, it is excessive in the commitment to religion on the one hand or negligence in adhering to it, on the other hand, it is not always concerned with bringing the matter but also enters into relinquishing. In addition to the need to be warned that extremism is a method of religiosity and not religion itself, and Islam with its centrist approach rejects such practices and seeks to address them through the curriculum of the Holy Quran

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the semantic issues and problems related to nouns that some translators in their translation of the Holy Quran, couldn't translate it successfully such as Abdullah Yusuf and Souleymane Kanté. Although they did a great effort and their translation is successful but they fail to convey the meaning to some nouns. The researcher tried to introduce some suggestions to improve translation of nouns in the Holy Quran by explaining some of these issues, and not to undermine these translations. As the terminology of the Quran reflects the history of the rise of a monotheistic religion in Arabia, the terminology of its translation into Maninka reflects the long history of islamization of the Manding-speaking peoples, Souleymane Kanté's translation as an example.  On the other hand, some Arabic translations to English are also available, Abdullah Yusuf's translation as an example. The researcher investigated troubles these two translators face in translating the Holy Quran by providing some examples. It was clear that Yusufs' translation based on finding equivalent of nouns of the Quran in the target culture which is not always available, while Kante's translation based on that there are many words in the target language which can stand for any noun in the Holy Quran. The researcher concludes that Kante's translation is better and more professional because languages develops and translators must always find equivalent words in the target culture to convey the meaning they are seeking to explain.

Paradise Lost has been treated as a controversial epic in misrepresenting characters among some religious writers. In this wonderful epic or out of that, the Satan’s story is a world of ambiguity and bewilderment for human beings, it still continues being obscure. The interpretation of holy scripts causes some misconceptions, overstating and exaggeration especially about Satan. Satan was expelled from the God’s mercy and from His forbearance. He continued to justify his disobedience, he was considered to be very arrogant. This research is going to survey or investigate the comparative and contrastive points of the Holy Quran and the Paradise Lost about Satan. Christian religion is issuing from Heaven and so is Islam. As well as the Paradise Lost was inspired from biblical verses. Hence some matters in case of Satan can be traced and surveyed looking to Quranic text and Miltonic text in this paper. Muslims believe and respect Jesus Christ’s Prophecy. Islam and Christianity both can be celestial religions with the same roots but some differences. In Paradise Lost Satan is presented as magnitude leading character, but from the other side Holy Quran presented Satan is a very wicked and outcast character. Milton attempted to draw God as a passive character and from the other side he also drew Satan as a so active character in his epic poem. Therefore, the similarities and some differences in favor of Satan would be discussed in this scholarly research paper.

In his contribution to psychoanalysis, Jacques Lacan introduces three orders according to which every psychoanalytic phenomenon can be described. These three orders are the imaginary, the symbolic and the real. The imaginary is the order in which the subject thinks of everything as his/her own. For the subject there is no distinction between the other and the subject itself. In the symbolic order the subject comes to realise that there is a gap between him/her and the other. S/he, then, starts to feel a lack which for the rest of his/her life the subject tries to fill in. The real is considered as the most important order in which the subject tears away from the symbolic and tries to experience, once again, the unity it had in the imaginary order. It is in this phase that the subject experiences what is known as jouissance or the 'pleasure in pain'. The present study tries to look at the eighteenth chapter of the Holy Quran, al-Kahf (The Cave), in the light of psychoanalysis studies and Lacan's theories in order to analyse the mystical experience that the Men of the Cave go through to reach their final jouissance.

A View Of The Origin Of Race And Languages According To The Qur'an (In The Context Of 22nd Verse Of Surah Rum) After Almighty Allah has made the earth livable, He has announced that He will create a human being there. Then the angels expressed their displeasure, but the Prophet. He created Adam and his wife as the first ancestor of men. Subsequently, they took them to a preparatory camp, equipped them with the necessary knowledge and skills for possible situations, and made them available through a language-like communication to express their feelings and thoughts. In addition to these features, it also granted the possibility to share the divine and human data in written or verbal form. Hz. Adam and his wife were then sent to earth and the divine program began to work for the proliferation of prophets.
