Among them, there are about 11 (eleven) islands are stated as the residential:   P. Untung Jawa, P. Tidung Besar, P. Lancang Besar, P. Panggang, P. Pramuka, P. Kelapa I, P. Kelapa II, P. Harapan, P. Sebira. P. Payung dan P. Pari. P. Panggang and P. Kelapa I are the most populated. In relation to the clean water supply, specifically for drinking water/freshwater, mostly is got from the narrow well, rainfall and some water treatment installations that heve been owned by some islands. However, problem arises when the prolong dry season comes as the quality of water in the narrow well decreases significantly, the well water became brackish. In order to cope this problem, the avaibility of sufficient water treatment installations to process brackish water into freshwater is very important. The water treatment installation with reverse osmosis system is one of the most effective alternative in order to provide the freshwater for the people in the islands. The system has also been aplied sufficiently in several islands, such as P. Kelapa I, P. Tidung, P. Pramuka, P. Untung Jawa, P. Panggang dan P. Harapan Kata Kunci : Pengolahan Air payau, Osmosa balik, Air minum.

Many diseases nowadays require drugs and antibiotics to cure them. However, patients are sometimes not disciplined to take drugs and antibiotics. Lack of knowledge about the effects of drugs and antibiotic resistance can lead to a decline in the quality of public health. Every user must have knowledge about drugs and antibiotics so that everyone can choose and identify drugs, and in particular can be discipline and taking antibiotics. This activity was carried out at Junior High School 11 Jayapura in August 2019 which teach the students about drugs and antibiotics and then identified them by qualitatively. The method used in this service is to use an instrument in the form of a pre-test, education, and post-test questionnaire. The questionnaire were validated and tested reliability with a total sample of 30 people using SPSS program. The pre-test and post-test score data obtained in this community service activity are then processed and analysed. The pre and post score sample were sumed by the percentage of the number and entered into the objective criteria. The scoring includes: 81–100% in the very good category, 61–80% in the good, 41–60% in the fairly good, 21–40% in poor, and <20% for the poor. The results of the activity indicated that this activity had a benefit for students' knowledge about drugs and antibiotics after participating in the activity and at the end of the activity it was in the very good category. Furthermore, 95.7% of students get advantages from this and 67.5% were committed to helping others in disseminating important information that they got during this activity.

In Germany the application of procedures such as flocculation and filtration in the preparation of drinking water results in the annual production of an estimated 500,000 t of sediments and sludges. Some of these residues have a potential for being reused, for example in agriculture, forestry, brickworks or waste water treatment. To assess the microbiological quality of residues from waterworks methods for the detection of enterobacteria, Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Legionella, poliovirus, Ascaris suis eggs and Cryptosporidium have been evaluated regarding their detection limits and were applied to various residues from German waterworks. Results show that sediments and sludges may contain pathogenic bacteria, viruses and protista. When residues from waterworks are intended to be reused in agriculture or forestry the microbiological quality should therefore be considered.
