Fauvism is an art form in the beginning of modernism art era with focusing on color implementation that doesn’t have to represent the reality, showing the strong bond of the artist with the atmosphere he drew. Fauvism color implementation will be implemented to the short animation film with limited animation technique, “We Are Different, yet We Are The Same”. In the making, the writer uses qualitative research method. Data that gathered used as a base for the writer on character designing in limited animation “We Are Different, yet We Are The Same” with fauvism style

This research is to serve the information on the role of productive zakat empowerment that affects the success of mustahik efforts by IZI LAZ Surabaya. This research uses the qualitative research method, which is narrative descriptive with a study case research technique. This research object is the alms empowerment program by IZI LAZ Surabaya. It is located in Kalipare village, Malang, Jawa Timur. The result of this research shows that the empowerment by IZI affects mustahik’s development. In the beginning, the mustahik in Kalipare, Malang are lack of employment. With the shuttlecock industry that is empowered by IZI LAZ Surabaya, they managed to lure the people and open new employments for mustahik in Kalipare.Keyword: Empowerment, Productive zakat, Mustahik

The values of power possessed by traditional holders or ninik mamak in the Bungo Malay community can be seen from their position in the tuo house. Tuo's house is one of the cultural relics of ancient Malay, Jambi's house is synonymous with Old Malay customs. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method which is a case study. Research informants were selected by purposive sampling method. The results of the study found that the values of power in the carving of the tuo house in Kampung Baruh Village, Tabir District, Merangin Regency, can be seen from the carvings on the tuo house ornaments, including: Carving of Keluk Paku (Pakis Wood) means that every development actor (leader) must be able to protect the The function and role it carries, Tampuk Manggis Carving means that the inner tribe shows politeness, sweet-faced hospitality to any guests who come. Carved Rope Philosophy of a strong bond and close kinship in the family, Carving Mensinding Gulung Paku (Pakis) showing the boundaries between mamak grandmothers, traditional elders, religious leaders with family and guest rooms, Carving Roots related to inner tribes if married their children from elements (matched) from their own family or from the same tribe. The efforts of the Merangin Regency Government in preserving the existence of tuo houses in Kampung Baruh Village, Tabir District, Merangin Regency, include making the area attractive, improving facilities and infrastructure and increasing accessibility.

Timorese culture is patriarchal in that men are more dominant than women. As if women were not considered in traditional rituals so that an understanding was built that valued women lower than men. However, in contrast to the article to be studied, this would like to see the priority of women’s roles in traditional marriages in Belle village, South Central Timor. The role of women wiil be seen from giving awards to their parents called puah mnasi manu mnasi. This paper aims to look at the meaning of the rituals of puah mnasi maun mnasi and the role and strengths that women have in traditional marriage rituals in the village of Belle, South Central Timor. The method used for this research is a qualitative research method using interview techniques with a number of people in the Belle Villa community and literature study to strengthen this writing. Based on the data obtained this paper shows that the adat rituals of puah mnasi manu mnasi provide a value that can be learned, namely respect for women, togetherness between the two families, and brotherhood that is intertwined due to customary marital affrairs.

The purpose of applying education to instill tolerance in society is to form citizens who can realize a common civilization in the life of nation and state, and able to create Indonesian people as a whole. Education is one way to instill tolerant. As for efforts education to instill tolerant attitude in society through: 1) multicultural education and character; 2) education with national insight; and 3) professional education management. The method used in this writing is a qualitative research method descriptive library studi. Expected with education so the community can respect the diversity and eliminate suspicion and discrimination so that the creation of a tolerant society.

AbstractTeacher self-efficacy has been abundantly studied. However, it seems that the consequences of teachers’ self-efficacy have not been appropriately explored yet. The research objective was to investigate the consequences of teachers’ teaching self-efficacy. The researchers used a qualitative research method. They collected the data through semi-structured interviews with 20 EFL teachers who were selected through purposive sampling. The interviews were content analyzed thematically. Findings showed that self-efficacy has different consequences: pedagogical, learner-related, and psychological. Each consequence has several sub-categories. It is concluded that high self-efficacy affects teachers’ teaching practices, learners’ motivation, and achievement. It also affects teachers’ burn-out status, psychological being, as well as their job satisfaction. The findings can be theoretically and pedagogically important to EFL teachers, teacher-trainers, and administrators of educational settings.

Education in the 21 century requires educators to be more creative, but there are still many educators who use monotonous learning methods so that students tend to get bored and ignore learning. Purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of multiple intelligence learning methods when applied in learning Akidah Akhlak. This study uses a qualitative research method with a phenemonological approach. The phenemonological approach used is the Schutz approach. Data analysis is an inductive analysis. The subjects that became the focus of this study were the Akidah Akhlak education teachers, seventh grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah one Jember. The results of the research of the Multiple Intelligences method are effective in learning because it can provide learning motivation to students and are able to hone the intelligence of each student.

The purpose of this study was to examine the opinions of engineering students from various departments regarding the progress tracking and digital badge features applied in courses in the Learning Management System (LMS). The phenomenological design which is a qualitative research method is used in this study. Online forms with close and open questions were used to collect data. The study was conducted with a total of 226 students, who studied in 5 different departments. The data is subject to content analysis. According to the research results, students stated that the features tested triggered motivation to complete assignments and develop other students. As for the opinion of some students that these features should be held in every course in the LMS. Despite the general view of an LMS equipped with these features (Moodle), their general view of the features, especially the progress tracking feature and digital badges is quite good. What needs to be questioned is the willingness of lecturers and policymakers to apply it consistently in the campus environment.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memahami dan menjelaskan setiap tahap proses revitalisasi yang dilakukan oleh sanggar Selayar Art untuk menghidupkan kembali tari Pakarena Laiyolo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan pendekatan interaksi analisis. Hasil penelitian yaitu memaparkan hasil kajian berupa proses yang dilakukan oleh Sanggar Selayar Art dalam upaya melestarikan tari Pakarena Laiyolo.</p><p><br />Kata kunci: Sanggar Selayar Art, tari Pakarena Laiyolo.</p><p><br />ABSTRACT</p><p><br />This article is the result of a study that focuses on the subject matter of how the process of revitalization of Pakarena Laiyolo dance is by Sanggar Selayar Art. The research method used is qualitative research method with an interaction analysis approach. This study aims to describe the process of Islamization of Gresik in the 14th century brought by Shaykh Maulana Malik Ibrahim and recorded in the Babad Gresik I. This study uses the qualitative research method based on the study of literature of Babad Gresik I manuscript which has been in the form of Indonesian translation book written by Soekarman (1990). The results of this study are (1) The profile of Shaykh Maulana Malik Ibrahim, including: (a) The arrival of Shaykh Maulana Malik Ibrahim in Gresik region recorded in Babad Gresik I and (b) The death of Shaykh Maulana Malik Ibrahim recorded in Babad Gresik I as well as (2) The methods of da'wah conducted by Shaykh Maulana Malik Ibrahim in the process of Islamization of Gresik in the 14th century including two methods, namely: (a) Da'wah methods through the trade/commerce routes recorded in Babad Gresik I and (2) Da'wah methods through education Islamic boarding schools recorded in Babad Gresik I. Overall, it can be seen that there were some contributions of Syaykh Maulana Malik Ibrahim in the process of Islamization in the 14th  century in Gresik that was recorded in Babad Gresik I.

Kakawin Arjunawiwaha is the first milestone of literature in East Java, in which there is a perfection of life as explained in other stories of wayang. Arjuna as the most handsome puppet play is an ideal illustration of Javanese culture about the image of a knight. This study aims to find out the story of Kakawin Arjuna Wiwaha in the Javanese puppet play of Arjuna Wiwaha. This study uses a qualitative research method based on a literature review of Kakawin Arjuna Wiwaha Wiryamartana (1987) which has been translated into Indonesian. The results of the study include: (1) Describing the story of Kakawin Arjuna Wiwaha in the Javanese puppet story Arjuna Wiwaha, (2) The characters in Kakawin Arjuna Wiwaha used in Javanese puppets of Kakawin Arjuna Wiwaha, (3) The response of the Javanese community towards Javanese puppets Arjuna Wiwaha adapted from the story of Kakawin Arjuna Wiwaha, especially on the characteristics of Arjuna as a person who is knighted, powerful and exemplary. Overall, it can be seen that there is a connection between the story of Kakawin Arjuna Wiwaha and the Javanese puppet play of Arjuna Wiwaha.
