This study aims to explain the meaning of ornaments contained in the Jami Kajen Mosque and its contribution in strengthening character education of children in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a philosophical interpretative approach to find the meaning behind the mosque's ornaments then relate it to teaching material of PAI MI and find its contribution to the strengthening of the character education of MI students. The results showed, first, the ornaments contained in the Jami Kajen Mosque contained philosophical meaning in containing Islamic teachings and local wisdom conveyed by Shaykh Mutamakkin through art. Ornaments with symbolic meanings are found in the Jami Kajen Mosque, namely the sculpture of Kuntul Nucuk Bulan, Naga Aji Saka, Gajah-Trisula-Taman, Corresponding Board, and Mosque Sky Calligraphy. The teachings conveyed came from Islamic teachings sourced from the Qur'an and Hadith as well as teachings from Javanese tradition and culture. Second, ornaments with the meaning of the content of Islamic teachings and local culture in the Jami Kajen Mosque make a major contribution to the strengthening of the character of MI students through learning based on local wisdom of the Jami Kajen Mosque as a source of learning and learning media. Active learning and contextual learning to strengthen the character of MI students can be done by making the ornaments of the Jami Kajen Mosque as the basis of learning of PAI MI.

Character is an important aspect to human success in the future. Character education is now a major issue in education, apart from being part of the process of forming the morals of the nation's children, character education is also expected to be the main foundation in the success of Indonesia Gold 2025. This study aims to determine the application of local culture-based character education at SMAN 4 Enrekang and supporting and inhibiting factors of local culture-based character education and how the results of the application of local culture-based character education. This research was a qualitative descriptive study conducted at SMAN 4 Enrekang. Researcher collected data using interviews and documentation and analysis of data was qualitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that the students are less able to grasp the pattern of character education because of lack of discipline in their daily life habits and outside school, lack of awareness of students to respect their teachers so that the value of student character values decrease and lack of communication between teacher and students’ parents.

Lagu dolanan anak-anak merupakan salah satu bentuk warisan budaya bangsa yang perlu dipertahankan dan dilestarikan mulai dari sekarang. Hal ini mengingat semakin majunya peradapan di bidang alat-alat komunikasi yang mulai mengeser budaya lokal. Salah satunya media bermain anak-anak lewat syair lagu dolanan yang semakin langka. Lagu dolanan anak-anak merupakan salah satu media untuk membentuk karakter pendidikan pada anak-anak. Pembentukan karakter sangat diperlukan pada saat usia anak-anak karena akan mempengaruhi perkembangan jiwanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis aspek gramatikal, aspek leksikal, dan aspek kontekstual dalam lirik lagu Ayo Dolanan dan Kamit. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggali berbagai aspek gramatikal, leksikal, dan kontekstual dalam lirik lagu dolanan Ayo Dolanan dan Kamit.Children dolanan song is one of the nation's cultural heritage which needs to be maintained and preserved from now. This is due to the rapid advancement of civilization in the field of communication which began to shift the local culture. One of these children play media through the lyrics of dolanan song is increasingly scarce. Children dolanan song is one of the media to shape the character of the children's education. The formation of character is indispensable at the age of children because it will affect the development of his soul. This study aims to analyze aspects of grammatical, lexical aspectss, and contextual aspects in the lyrics of the song Ayo Dolanan and Kamit. This study uses a qualitative descriptive study to explore various aspects of the grammatical, lexical, and contextual in dolanan song lyrics Ayo Dolanan and Kamit.

AbstractThis research is motivated by the collapse of the value of character education that is being planted by students, especially high school students. The teenage age instability, students are easily influenced by the social environment; to avoid this they must get used to love reading, namely reading novels. Many life values can be taken from this novel, especially in the value of character education so it can motivate readers about the world of education that can be used as a model in behave. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The object of this research is the novel Sekolah Pohon by Eko Kusumawijaya. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques with assessment and description of the data that had been obtained. The method of data collection is done by conducting literature studies. The result of this study are: (1) the value of character education in the novel Sekolah Pohon by Eko Kusumawijaya uses a pragmatic approach which includes religious values, honesty, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, curiosity, democratic, appreciate achievement, friendly/communicative, love of peace, likes to read, environmental care, social care, and responsibility; and (2) the novel Sekolah Pohon by Eko Kusumawijaya has relevance as a literary teaching material in high school in accordance with the syllabus and lesson plans.Keywords: novel, value of character education, pragmatic approach, teaching     material

<p class="Abstrak"><strong>Abstract:</strong> This study aims to explore teaching material of Microbiology in the material "Role of Microbes in Life (Bioremediation)" for students of Biology Education S1 Tribhuwana Tunggadewi University. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques used is by distributing questionnaires. The results of the questionnaire showed that 84% stated that they needed to study more about the use of microbes in life (Bioremediation). 59% of students used teaching materials based on research results and 70% of students stated that teaching materials in the form of modules made it easier to understand biological material. 57% of students strongly agree if an <em>E-modul</em>e is developed. Based on these results it was concluded that teaching materials in the form of <em>E-modules</em> would be developed for Microbiology courses.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bahan ajar matakuliah Mikrobiologi pada materi “Peranan Mikroba dalam Kehidupan (Bioremediasi)” bagi mahasiswa S1 Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Tribhuwana Tunggadewi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan penyebaran angket. Hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa 84% menyatakan perlu mengkaji lebih dalam tentang pemanfaatan mikroba dalam kehidupan (Bioremediasi). 59% mahasiswa pernah menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis hasil penelitian dan 70% mahasiswa menyatakan bahwa bahan ajar berupa modul memudahkan dalam memahami materi Biologi. 57% mahasiswa sangat setuju jika dikembangkan <em>E-modul</em>. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut disimpulkan bahwa perlu dikembangkan bahan ajar berupa <em>E-modul</em> untuk matakuliah Mikrobiologi.

The study is aimed to determine the values of Pasang ri Kajang in building the youth character of environmental love in Tana Toa Village, Kajang District, Bulukumba Regency. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study with intercultural communication as the approach of study. The data are obtained from Ammatoa with its traditional stakeholders, the Ammatoa youth community as well as community leaders who have concerned with Ammatoa community members. Data are analyzed using semiotics analysis. The results of the Pasang believed to be the will of Turiek Akrakna, which is handed down to Ammatoa I, and passed onto his successor, Ammatoa, is a source of values that govern the world life in its journey towards a life in the days to come. The noble values that can be implemented into conservation character education from the local wisdom of the Ammatoa indigenous people are about 1) Love to Almighty God and His universe; 2) Be responsibility, discipline, and independence; 3) Be honest, 4) Be scrupulous; 5) Work hard in preserving nature; 6) Do justice; 7) Be Modesty; and 8) Love for peace and unity. These values are very suitable to be implemented in building the character of children to love the environment, especially the forest environment.كان الغرض من هذه الدراسة هو تحديد قيم Pasang ri Kajang في بناء شخصية الشباب في الحب البيئي في قريةTana Toa ، منطقةKajang ، محافظة Bulukumba  هذا النوع من البحث هو دراسة وصفية نوعية مع نهج تواصل بين الثقافات. تم الحصول على مصادر البيانات منAmmatoa  مع أصحاب المصلحة التقليديين وأفراد المجتمع (الشباب) ، وكذلك قادة المجتمع الذين لديهم قلق لأفراد مجتمع Keammatoaan .تم تحليل البيانات باستخدام تحليل السيميائية. كانت نتائج الأزواج، التي يعتقد أنها إرادةTuriek Akrakna ، والتي تم تسليمها إلىAmmatoa I ، وتم نقلها إلىAmmatoa ، خليفته، مصدرًا للقيم التي حكمت حياة العالم في رحلته إلى الحياة في الأيام القادمة. القيم النبيلة التي يمكن تنفيذها في الحفاظ على تعليم الشخصية من الحكمة المحلية لسكان أماتوا الأصليين هي 1) حب الله والكون ومحتوياته، 2) المسؤولية والانضباط والاستقلالية، 3) صادق، 4) شامل، 5 ) العمل الشاق في الحفاظ على الطبيعة، 6) العدل، 7) البساطة، 8) حب السلام والوحدة. هذه القيم مناسبة جدًا ليتم تنفيذها في بناء شخصية الأطفال الذين يحبون البيئة، وخاصة بيئة الغابات. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai Pasang ri Kajang dalam membangun karakter pemuda cinta lingkungan di Desa Tana Toa Kecamatan Kajang Kabupaten Bulukumba. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan komunikasi antarbudaya. Sumber data diperoleh dari Ammatoa dengan para pemangku adatnya, Warga masyarakat (pemuda), serta tokoh masyarakat yang mempunyai kepedulian terhadap warga masyarakat Keammatoaan. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis semiotika. Hasil penelitian Pasang yang diyakini sebagai kehendak dari Turiek Akrakna yang diturunkan kepada Ammatoa I, dan diteruskan kepada Ammatoa penerusnya, merupakan sumber nilai-nilai yang mengatur kehidupan dunia dalam perjalanannya menuju kehidupan di hari kemudian. Nilai-nilai luhur yang dapat diimplementasikan ke dalam pendidikan karakter konservasi dari kearifan lokal masyarakat adat Ammatoa adalah: 1) cinta kepada Tuhan dan alam semesta beserta isinya, 2) tanggung jawab, disiplin, dan mandiri, 3) jujur, 4) teliti, 5) kerja keras dalam pelestarian alam, 6) keadilan, 7) Kesederhanan , 8) cinta damai dan persatuan. Nilai-nilai tersebut sangat cocok diimplementasikan dalam membangun karakter anak akan cinta lingkungan terutama lingkungan hutan.

This study aims to identify items of character values ​​and methods of their internalization in learning ‘ilm al-ashwat in the Arabic Education Department of UNSIQ Wonosobo. It is a qualitative-descriptive study where data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation from the lecturer of ‘ilm al-ashwat, lecturer of character education, head of sub-section of academic and student affairs, and some students from semesters 3 and 5 who have taken the course. Participants of this research include the first semester students. Findings of this study show that there are some character values ​​ internalized in students when learning ‘ilm al-ashwat. The values ​​are classified into two categories. The first is those that are ​​implied in the learning method such as self-confidence, responsibility, reading interest, achievement-motivated quality, and curiosity. The second is those ​​that are implied in the teaching material of ‘ilm al-ashwat such as honesty, self-discipline, communicative attitude, and religiosity. Meanwhile, the internalization itself is done by role-modeling, prioritizing, and reflection.

This study aims to determine the steps of character education through the Al Qur`an SDIT Salsabila 8 Sleman tahfidz program, to identify the character values of Salsabila 8 Sleman SDIT students through the Al Quran tahfidz program, and to determine the evaluation of character education through the Al Quran tahfidz program. This study uses a qualitative descriptive study with data triagulation analysis techniques. To obtain information the researchers used interview, observation and documentation techniques with the subject of the teacher and the principal. Based on the results obtained: Steps in character education through learning the Koran tahfidz at SDIT Salsabila; 1) Preparing the teaching staff, 2) mapping the levels of students, 3) Grouping, 4) Making a schedule, 5) implementation. Implementation of character values that are applied through learning Tahfidz Al Qur'an at SDIT Salsabila 8 Sleman there are 18 characters, but there are 7 dominant character values that appear including: 1) Religion, 2) honest, 3) hard work, 4) fond of reading, 5) creative, 6) responsible, and 7) discipline. Evaluation of character learning through Al Quran tahfidz education at SDIT Salsabila 8 Sleman has been going well where students will be evaluated daily and at the end of the semester by examiners and controlled through achievement books.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter budi pekerti di SMPN 1 Tanggul Jember. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan beberapa teknik, seperti observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik triangulasi dilakukan dengan cara triangulasi metode, yaitu dengan mengecek ulang informasi hasil wawancara dengan dokumentasi dan observasi. Hasil pembahasan implementasi karakter budi pekerti terdapat 4 poin yang dihasilkan dari pembiasaan (kultur), yaitu: (1) kultur sekolah yang meliputi wawasan mutu untuk peserta didik dalam kegiatan akademik dan nonakademik; (2) kultur budaya sekolah kerohanian yang meliputi: pengajian Jum’at pagi, sholat Dzuhur berjamaah, pengkajian kerohanian sesuai dengan agama masing-masing peserta didik; (3) kultur budaya disiplin, baik untuk pendidik (guru) dan peserta didik; dan (4) kultur budaya sopan santun (tatakrama), menghargai yang lebih tua dan menyayangi yang lebih muda. Kata Kunci : pendidikan karakter, karakter budi pekerti, kultur sekolah THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CHARACTER OF MANNERS DEVELOPMENT IN SMP NEGERI 1 TANGGUL JEMBER Abstract: This study aimed at describing the implementation of the character of manners development in SMPN 1 Tanggul Jember. This research was a qualitative descriptive study. Data were collected by the techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. Method triangulation was employed to crosscheck the information from the interview with the documentation and observation. The results of the discussion of the implementation of the character of manners showed there were 4 points resulting from habit formation (culture), namely: (1) the school culture that included insight into the quality of the students in academic and non-academic activities; (2) school spiritual culture which included Friday morning religioud study, midday prayers in congregation, spiritual study in accordance with the religion of each learner; (3) discipline culture both for educators (teachers) and students; and (4) culture of manners, respecting the elders and loving the younger. Humans, nature, culture, and creators have an inseparable relationship. In Javanese culture, gratitude is realized through cultural events, such as Bersih Desa (village clean-ups ceremony). A puppet play of Sri Mulih is performed as an expression of gratitude. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The data source is a video of Wayang Purwa play of Sri Mulih. First, the data are reduced and analyzed by discussing the problem. Finally, the data are assessed by using triangulation techniques to obtain data validity. This study found that the religious value within the play is related to the ceremony of Bersih Desa in the Purworejo district. The finding provides a picture of the acculturation of local culture and Islamic teachings because wayang plays are adapted according to the Javanese culture.Manusia, alam, budaya, dan pencipta memiliki hubungan yang tidak bisa dipisahkan. Dalam budaya masyarakat Jawa, rasa syukur diwujudkan dengan acara-acara kebudayaan seperti halnya bersih desa. Lakon wayang kulit Sri Mulih yang dipentaskan sebagai perwujudan rasa syukur masyarakat Jawa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan keyakinan religi masyarakat hubungannya dengan kepercayaan bersih desa menggunakan sarana pertunjukan wayang kulit purwa dengan lakon Sri Mulih. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan tiga tahapan penelitian, yaitu reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah video pertunjukan wayang purwa lakon Sri Mulih. Data-data dalam sumber data utama direduksi dan dianalisis dengan pembahasan masalah. Terakhir data-data yang diperoleh diuji dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi untuk mendapat suatu derajat validitas data. Hasil dalam penelitian ini, ditemukan nilai religius dalam lakon tersebut terkait prosesi bersih desa di kabupaten Purworejo. Hasil ini memberikan gambaran akulturasi budaya lokal dan ajaran Islam karena lakon wayang telah diadaptasi sesuai dengan kultur busaya masyarakat Jawa.
