The coronavirus pandemic has made significant adjustments to the educational process, including the higher education system. The purpose of the study: to study the features of the daily routine, motor activity and nutrition, to assess the psycho-emotional indicators, including the level of depression, anxiety in junior students of various specialties during distance learning. Materials and methods: the survey involved 133 respondents (84.6 % female, 15.4 % male) aged 17 to 22 years (M = 18.89; SD = 1.52). The data was collected remotely between November and December 2020. The following methods were used: the author’s questionnaire aimed at studying the regime moments, eating habits and physical activity of students, as well as the assessment of the academic load, the questionnaire «Well-being, activity, mood», the Beck Depression Inventory, the Spielberger — Hanin anxiety scale (STAI). The results obtained showed that within the framework of distance learning in self-isolation, such deviations from the recommended hygienic parameters were revealed in junior students, such as an unbalanced diet, a reduced level of physical activity, an increase in school time and sleep deprivation. Conclusion: a close relationship between the physical and emotional states of students is revealed. At the same time, it is the nature of physical activity that is a parameter that combines the physical and emotional well-being of students. The lack of formation of psychohygienic attitudes among students actualizes measures aimed at better coordination of the educational process, activation of curatorial support for students, as well as the development and communication of recommendations to students on the organization of regime moments during distance learning.

The forced transition to distance learning during the pandemic has determined the development of new models of university teachers’ professional activity. The results of the “first wave” show that the community of teachers was not prepared for distance learning not only due to the lack of necessary competencies and skills of working in the online environment but also psychologically. In particular, the psychological unpreparedness of teachers for the transition from traditional formats of interaction to the remote ones, the collapse of the familiar “live” models of communication with students and colleagues turned up to be a major difficulty. Based on the results of research, the key problems of the organization of teachers’ remote work are determined and the socio-psychological consequences of remote employment are revealed. The main groups of risks faced by teachers due to the forced transition to remote employment are also identified. The impact of remote formats on the professional activities of teachers cannot be assessed unequivocally. On the one hand, in the time of remote work, teachers have developed new skills and competencies, mastered innovative online technologies, managed to overcome numerous psychological struggles, etc. On the other hand, teachers are aware that the necessary process of transformation of education will not only substantially change their professional activity but will also lead to the emergence of fundamentally new social roles and models of professional behavior. There is a growing sense of unease and confusion in the teaching community and negative expectations associated with uncertainty in the professional labor market are developing.

The digitalization of higher education is a long-term trend that gained a new impetus for further development because of the forced transition to distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of the article is to analyze the impact of digital transformation on the educational process in universities and to describe the risks through the students’ eyes. The analysis is based on the results of a survey conducted by the authors in 2020 among students of two universities - Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) and the Institute of the Trade Union Movement of the General Confederation of Labor of Vietnam (IPLV).The article describes the methodology of the online survey. The attitude towards distance learning is interpreted as a three-level attitude with emotional, cognitive and behavioral aspects. It is suggested that students’ readiness to switch to distance learning is determined by a set of macro and micro factors. Among the macro factors are the national specifics of the educational system, traditions in the field of higher education, infrastructure, the national educational policy, and the mobilization potential of the population. Among the micro factors are the cognitive and other psychological characteristics of the students, the socio-psychological openness to innovation.According to the survey results, there is certain similarity in the way Russian and Vietnamese students assess their experience of distance learning. At the same time, significant differences in the perception of the outcome of the digital transformation of education have been revealed. For MGIMO students, major risks are associated with dehumanization, the severing of social ties, and the possible loss of student status. For Vietnamese students the most significant risks are mainly associated with the fears of the decreasing quality of education. It is therefore concluded that distance learning is both the field of opportunities and possible source of individual and institutional risks.

This article proposes a research vision of the problem of using CLIL training in the context of distance education in schools and universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The relevance of the study is due to the lack of the research devoted to the content analysis of the integration of CLIL learning and distance learning technologies, as well as the need to identify the features and universal problems, characteristic of the practice of CLIL learning in distance learning format. The diagnosis of this problem was carried out through an online survey of school teachers and university teachers acting as experts on the implementation of CLIL training in educational institutions of the Republic. To develop a methodology and tools for online survey of teachers scientific works in the field of CLIL training and distance education technologies on the creation of educational resources and a virtual learning environment and on the sociology of education were studied. When processing the results of the survey, we used statistical and descriptive research methods. The results of the online survey confirmed the hypothesis of the study that the main problem of using CLIL technology is the problem of resource provision of the CLIL training program in the context of distance education, as well as the level of methodological and IT-training of school teachers and university teachers. Other features of using CLIL technology in a distance format are as follows: the school teachers and university teachers have an appropriate set of basic competencies of a teacher practicing CLIL training, and, at the same time, their insufficiency for the implementation of the educational process in the context of distance education and, accordingly, the need to acquire additional competencies required by the teacher for the application of CLIL technology in a distance format

In modern conditions of functioning of the higher education system, the goal of introducing distance learning is to organize a high-quality educational process “at a distance” using the latest information and communication tools and open access to educational resources. It is this form of training that can quickly adapt to the requirements of the information society and prepare the future specialist for the challenges of the digital environment. In combination with traditional forms, distance education in a higher educational institution can provide a wide range of educational services for both applicants and students to acquire the necessary skills for future professional activities, and for teachers to improve their skills. At the moment, the main problems in introducing high-quality free educational space is the lack of technical and financial support, the legislative basis of distance learning, and this is a leading factor in curbing the development of technology at the university. There are no qualified teachers specially prepared for working in remote mode. However, given the willingness of universities to train teachers to work remotely, the negative impact of this factor in the near future can be eliminated. Subject to the solution of the above problems, an effective distance learning will be created that will comprehensively reveal the student’s potential, taking into account both individual and universal needs.

The main direction of improving the process of professional development of doctors at the stage of postgraduate training is the gradual introduction of modern forms of education. Internship is the first step to independent work of a doctor, so it is important from this stage to direct the efforts of a young specialist to self-improvement. Traditional methods of training interns are primarily aimed at obtaining and deepening knowledge through the transfer of information with subsequent implementation in specific professional activities with recognized algorithms. However, this method of teaching does not contribute to the development of independent cognitive activity of young colleagues, although it is on this postulate the concept of distance learning is based as a new form of postgraduate education. The article characterizes the modern system of training of interns-ophthalmologists. The use of distance learning, clinical analysis of patients’ data, stage test control, situational tasks in the educational process is substantiated. This work is devoted to the analysis of the digital tools that a modern teacher should possess to implement the educational process using distance learning technologies. Based on the conducted research, the main competencies that a teacher should have to conduct professional activities from the point of view of students were established. Digital tools are urgently needed to implement these competencies. In this paper, we will show our view on the algorithm for using digital tools in the educational process. A teacher should have a wide arsenal of digital tools: be able to use office programs, be able to search, to select, to analyze and to interpret information. To be able to create a teacher’s website, record digital audio and video content, to be able to place it for easy access for students, and, of course, be able to use the University’s learning management system.
