An obligatory part of the quality management system of educational institutions is pedagogical control of digestion of the learning material by students, which should be considered as an important component of the diagnosis and monitoring of training. The analysis of research and methodological functions of the current knowledge control on the basics of paleontology, general stratigraphy and historical geology, performed with the help of test tasks, was conducted from the spring semester of 2014 to the spring semester of 2019 inclusive. It has confirmed that the test system of the current control allowed carrying out effective diagnostics of higher education, making more systematic and effective carrying out of lessons, organization of the self-control over the digestion of some topics of the course and correction lecture material in order to increase the efficiency of the training. The consequence of methodically correct organization of systematic test control is the formation of holistic natural science world view by students, as well as the culture of educational process by students — concentration, responsibility, accuracy, ability to develop internal and external self-organization and self-control. The reasons for the low results of testings are analyzed. It has been proved that the analysis of the results of the current control of knowledge can determine creativity and a clear vocation for the research activities of students. Data on the results of the test control of educational work should be fully used for timely adjustment of educational trajectories of students at all stages of training. They will be necessary for the development of initiatives in mastering the future profession, creative abilities, the ability to plan and predict the results of their independent actions and to solve non-standard tasks.

The possibilities of using test tasks of various forms for the current control of the objective assessment of students knowledge of historical geology have been clarified. Brief information about the essence of pedagogical control and tests has been given. The value of control maps for the analysis and statistical processing of test results has been considered. The effectiveness of the test verification system for the organization of self-control over the course of assimilation and consolidation of the acquired knowledge, as well as the implementation of self-management training activities of students, has been proved. It has been concluded that the educational material that affects the history of the Earth in the Precambrian is the most difficult (10,0% of the correct answers), as well as the various aspects of the evolution of the organic world (10,1%), and alsothe information about minerals (11,5%). Students showed the best knowledge in the field of stratigraphic division of the studied intervals of geological history of the Earth (50,4%), features of the Paleozoic stage (42,4%) and various historical aspects (37,3%). It has been established that the maximal difficulties, regardless of the content, cause the tasks requiring systematic knowledge for compliance (9,4%). A small positive dynamics of students performance indicators has been revealed in the study of the material relating to different ages and different types of tectonic structures, as well as in the work with tests to establish compliance. It has been proved that the test control system makes it possible to make more systematic and effective conduct of classes, organize a self-control over the course for mastering individual topics and adjust the lecture material to improve the efficiency of training. Data on the results of the test control of educational work should be fully used for timely adjustment of educational trajectories of students at all stages of training in historical geology. They will be necessary for the development of initiatives in mastering the future profession, creative abilities, the ability to plan and predict the results of their independent actions and to solve non-standard tasks.

The author of article analyzes the peculiarities of the professional training of future teachers of Ukrainian language and literature on the base of interdisciplinary integration. Lilik O. O. explores the problem of the definition of integration in scientific literature, she describes different levels and ways of interdisciplinary integration in vocation training. The author of the article considers interdisciplinary integration within the framework of professional training of future teachers of Ukrainian language and literature at three levels, namely: as integration of content (level of separate disciplines (historical-literary and theoretical-literary, as well as pedagogical and methodical) and educational material); as an integration of methods of activity (ability and skills to operate with material during training, as well as further professional activity); as an integration of values and worldviews (the level of personal and professional worldview of students), the result of which are formed general and professional competencies. The first way is interdisciplinary integration within the classroom (lectures, practical, and laboratory). The second way is integration within the independent work of students. The third way for interdisciplinary integration is the research activities of students, including the writing of term papers and qualifications, which can be performed at the intersection of several scientific and educational disciplines. The fourth way of implementing interdisciplinary integration is the students’ participation in additional forms of organization of the educational process - special seminars, trainings, workshops, master classes, round tables, which can be held within grant activities or be a form of self-education of future vocabulary teachers. The fifth way is educational work at the faculty or the university in general, which involves the organization of various activities. On the basis of the conducted researches Lilik O. О. comes to the conclusion that interdisciplinary integration can be a catalyst for the educational process in higher education, provide comprehensive and thorough training of future teachers of Ukrainian language and literature for professional activities, as it covers a wide range of issues: from theoretical knowledge and practical skills to their personal and professional worldview.

Consumer orientation is an important aspect of creating and functioning of quality management system of the educational establishment. However, monitoring of consumer satisfaction in the system of the additional adult education requires certain conceptual and technological development projects. A synthesizing of existing approaches for monitoring allowed us to make the model approximation of monitoring consumer satisfaction of educational services of the Institute for Professional Skills Upgrading and Retraining. It determines aim and functions of the monitoring, its object and subjects, the content, structure, etc. Then content monitoring is determined on the basis of several criteria and indicators for evaluating consumer satisfaction, characterizing consumer perception of the Institute. Monitoring of listeners of training satisfaction, courses for skills upgrading for managers and professionals, the training courses (including working trades), as well as employers is included to the structure. Diagnostic materials are developed for each type of monitoring. Questionnaires contain questions assessed by nominal and point scale. We have identified six stages in the developed technology of monitoring and consumer satisfaction evaluations of educational services of the Institute: organizational-preparatory, questionnaires, and analysis of incoming documents, data processing, analytical, synthesis, reflective. The automation of the procedure of monitoring has allowed to reduce time and efforts. The program «Questionnaire» was developed using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008. The examples of the analysis of monitoring results (dynamics of motives, reasons for satisfaction specialty retraining, choice of the most effective forms of organization of educational work and other; 2005-2011; 826 respondents) reflect the possible impact of monitoring on the management of educational process in the system of additional adult education. Key words: adult education, educational services, monitoring of consumer satisfaction, con-tent monitoring, technology of monitoring, analysis of monitoring results.

Arguments of expediency of effective ways of formation of competitiveness of future teachers in the conditions of school practice are resulted. During the formation of practical skills, future professionals gain experience working with students, teaching staff, parents. The ability to identify acute issues, to organize correctional classes on the problems of student education, to act as a class teacher for future teachers is an important aspect of becoming a professional. The urgency of the problem is primarily determined by the task of reforming the content and forms of training of future teachers, which requires appropriate adjustments in the process of mastering practical professional competencies. The authors present the comments of stakeholders, which are analyzed and the corresponding conclusions are made. In particular, the introduction into the curriculum of the educational component “Theory and methods of educational work in educational institutions”. The practice of industrial (pedagogical) practice shows that the quality of performance indicators increases significantly in accordance with the success of higher education seekers in self-realization during practice.Among the leading competencies that are formed during practice are the development of skills to analyze educational activities, skills of self-control and self-assessment of the process and outcome of pedagogical activities and the ability to analyze difficulties in pedagogical activities and solve them. Stakeholders noted an insufficient level of self-management skills, which should be noted by the organizers of industrial practice. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the significant contribution of industrial practice in the formation of professionalism of future teachers.Research methods. During the study of the organization of psychological and pedagogical practice we used such general scientific methods as theoretical, empirical (analysis, synthesis, observation, comparison, systematization, generalization).Key words: psychological and pedagogical component of educational process, pedagogical (production) practice, influence of practice on quality of future profession.

Traditionally, the transition from elementary to secondary school is regarded as a boundary separating childhood from adolescence. It is usually characterized by the fact that the inevitable adaptation to new social conditions happens amid motivational crisis and, in general, becomes a time of serious change in children’s psyche. The purpose of the study was to determine the dynamics of the intellectual potential development, motivation and personal qualities of students during their transition from the 4th to the 5th grade. We examined three transition periods from the 4th to the 5th grade since 2016 to 2020. Each transition period involved three classes marked A, B and C. In total, the article presents the results for 261 students. The study was conducted using the Amthauer test (IST), the 16PF test by R. Cattell modified by L. Yasyukova, and the diagnosing method for the school motivation type by E. Lepesheva. The results obtained allow us to draw the following conclusions. 1 During the transition, children experience a period of adaptation, which is generally successful. 2. Students experience a distinct motivational crisis during their 5th grade. Further studies are necessary to understand the reasons of it. At this point, we are able to give several explanations for the results. These are: a) Loss of interest in learning indicates the onset of an age crisis in younger adolescents; during the 5th grade, the crisis grows and matures (according to the views of L. S. Vygotsky). The analysis of motives to educational activities indicates the absence of a clearly expressed leading activity during this period. We can assume that learning loses its significance as a leading activity in the 5th grade because it gives way to communication with other children. b) The reasons for losing the motivation to educational activities are the limits and gaps in the educational system of primary school (possibly, secondary school too), which does not take into account the features and logic of value and motivational mechanisms in educational activities of students. 3. New learning system has a positive effect on the cognitive development of 5th-graders. There is an increase in independent thinking and conceptual thinking. The teacher’s role is very important as well as organization of educational process. 4. Fifth grade is a time of self-awareness development. Changes in the personality of 5th-graders begin with the development of self-criticism and promptness. At the same time, the development of thinking, although it determines this process, does not guarantee its immediate start. There is no connection between the development of thinking in the classroom and personal changes. The organization of educational work in the classroom becomes a crucial link. 5. A relationship between motivation for educational activities and personal characteristics of students was found. The main role in it plays a strong-willed self-control and carelessness of younger teenagers. The development of these qualities is able to raise different types of the motives in training activities.
