UKM (small and medium enterprises) in the Tembesi Tower, Tembesi sub-district, are not developing well. This is indicated by the low turnover obtained by each UKM (small and medium enterprise) in 1 month. customer expectations. New products must be made so that these small and medium businesses can survive and continue to exist. The new product must have a distinctive and good quality so that the product positioning is clearer and able to compete with other products on the market. This service activity aims to provide a solution to this by creating a new product in the form of a dab soap that is safe for health and environmentally friendly. Some soaps circulating in the market only prioritize cleaning power, but the chemical content in the soap is harmful to health and the environment. The impact of conventional soap on health is irritation of the skin which, if left for a long time, the irritation will turn into eczema. In addition, conventional soap also harms the environment because the raw material for soap comes from petroleum which is difficult to be broken down by bacteria. Community service activities are carried out in the form of coaching. The service team expects to increase the income and advantages of UKM (small and medium businesses) in the Tembesi Tower and to be able to create jobs or open a business with a revolutionary cream soap product design.

The article examines the existing problems of the current state of management and development of micro, small and medium enterprises in Ukraine and in the world, in particular, in the field of services. Statistical and scientific sources on the specified problems are analyzed. The important social and economic role, competitive advantages of small and medium enterprises in comparison with big business and the reasons of their insufficient efficiency are emphasized. The share of value added in the gross domestic product produced by micro and small enterprises in Ukraine in comparison with the EU countries is singled out and the main reasons for the lag are identified. The analysis of the effectiveness of the simplified system of taxation of microbusiness, in particular, individual entrepreneurs working in the fields of services, trade, catering and IT, revealed tax evasion and the existence of unequal conditions for paying taxes by different categories of taxpayers. These calculations show that significant amounts of income of simplistic entrepreneurs working in the field of information technology are not taxed at all. The international and domestic experience on the issue of removing microbusiness from the shadows by introducing the mandatory use of registrars of settlement operations has been studied. It was emphasized that, in the context of decentralization, the crucial role in overcoming the shortcomings of the simplified taxation system should be played by local authorities, which are interested in establishing clear rules for fiscalization of individual entrepreneurs to fill local budgets with taxes. In order to find common economically sound solutions that are acceptable to all parties, it is proposed to create working groups of representatives of local authorities and microbusiness. In order to increase the efficiency of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises at the local community level, a number of measures are recommended that will increase the number of entrepreneurs and jobs, increase revenues to local budgets and improve the well-being of community residents. The government should create investment infrastructure for micro, small and medium-sized businesses with favorable conditions, and entrepreneurs should pay taxes politely.

Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) brass foundry in Ngawen Sidokarto, District of Godean, Sleman, Yogyakarta mostly produced cow necklace accessories (klonthong) and jathilan accessories (klinthing). Te industry and business management are arranged within the scope of family. Te products are relatively low in quality and its market share is limited and tend to be traditional. Tis condition is caused by the weak knowledge of the management and the method of casting metals and metal science. Brass casting methode, that was used at IKM partner, is casting with mold of sand or soil. Tis process requires the making process of sand molds, that is removed afer the brass solidify. For large quantities products, this process is inefcient and takes a long time. It would require a more efcient and faster method in the production process. Method of sand casting and ceramics have been used by SMEs cast brass in Yogyakarta, however it  has many disadvantages in terms of increased productivity and quality as well as the expansion of product applications. Te permanent mold casting of iron is a casting method which has many advantages over other methods, but the use for SMEs has not been applied in the SME of cast brass. Te permanen mold casting methods was introduced to SME partners. Tis replaces the sand mold materials and molding sand. It is expected the casting process is faster because the mold can be used for a large number of products. Te results show that the application of the technology results in products with precision and consistent in shape and size. Community Service of UGM with Appropriate Technology has also collaborated with  Industry and Trade service of Yogyakarta donation of production machinery for making permanent mold. It can be concluded that the application of permanen mold in the brass foundry industry improve the product precision and the speed of produsction.

The analysis and evaluation of risks are a decisive part of risk assessment in the risk management framework. Based on the results of the analysis and risk evaluation we can classify the risks as acceptable and unacceptable ones and subsequently manage them. The small and medium enterprises pay the analysis and risk evaluation the lowest attention. In our opinion this is linked with failing to utilise exact methods which seem to be complicated for their practical utilisation. They are not used especially for analysing and evaluating the risks which have their basis in epistemic uncertainty. The professional community has been discussing epistemic uncertainty for a long time. This assumption is valid mainly in the SMEs which have no competent person on the one hand and a shortage of information concerning the area assessed on the other hand. The main goal of this article is to assess the current state of implementing the process of analysing and evaluating the risk in the SMEs and to define the main problems from a questionnaire research carried out in 2017 in which 485 SMEs working in Slovakia took part. On the base of the conducted research, we can state that in spite of the fact that only high-quality risk assessment leads the companies to take suitable measures for risk reduction, the companies pay unadequate attention to the analysis and risk evaluation.
