The paper considers the concept of innovation and its importance and impact on modern social life. Budget and extra-budgetary forms of its financing are given: state financing, joint-stock, bank credits, venture financing, leasing, business angels, mixed form of financing and crowdfunding. In particular, the form of crowdfunding financing is considered. The purpose of this paper is to study and analyze the forms of crowdfunding financing, as well as to identify its role in the development of innovation. For this purpose, such research methods as analysis, study and evaluation of information were used. The concept of crowdfunding and the mechanism of financing projects through crowdfunding are considered. The sites of Internet sites that perform the function of fundraising by crowdfunding are considered – the site acts as a third party, is not responsible to anyone, only helping to cover the project and managing the funds raised. Any of the site visitors, who are usually not professional financiers, can transfer any amount to the account of the author of the project. The volumes and growth rates of crowdfunding in the world for 2014 are presented. The analysis and comparison of domestic and foreign crowdfunding platforms is carried out. The classification of crowdfunding by the method of reward (namely: “reward crowdfunding”, “equity crowdfunding” and “debt crowdfunding”), and by the method of fundraising (“all or nothing”, “leave everything”, “turning point”, “free” price”, "perpetual financing" and "subscription"). The paper also analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of this method of raising funds, its impact on the development of innovation. The conclusion states that despite all the disadvantages, no other method of financing can provide such advantages resale, market research, sponsorship advertising at no additional cost. Other sources of funding have disadvantages, which are limited public information, high risks of investment in projects. However, in crowdfunding through communication with sponsors, obtaining market reviews from them opens unknown previously ways to reduce these risks.

The article considers the role of trust in the economy, the mechanisms of its accumulation and the possibility of using it as one of the growth factors in the future. The advantages and disadvantages of measuring the level of generalized trust using two alternative questions — about trusting people in general and trusting strangers — are analyzed. The results of the analysis of dynamics of the level of generalized trust among Russian youth, obtained within the study of the Institute for National Projects in 10 regions of Russia, are presented. It is shown that there are no significant changes in trust in people in general during the study at university. At the same time, the level of trust in strangers falls, which can negatively affect the level of trust in the country as a whole, and as a result have negative effects on the development of the economy in the future. Possible causes of the observed trends and the role of universities are discussed. Also the question about the connection between the level of education and generalized trust in countries with different quality of the institutional environment is raised.

Some studies suggest that the benefits of antilock brake systems (ABS) may be offset through behavioral adaptation, such as driving faster or following closer. Whether preconditions for behavioral adaptation exist was examined by investigating driver knowledge and beliefs about ABS. Telephone interviews were conducted throughout Quebec early in 1999 with principal drivers of a stratified random sample of 404 drivers with currently registered light-duty vehicles, registered to the same person for at least 18 months. The response rate was 82 percent of 492 reached. Only medium-range and high-end 1990-1995 vehicles, for which ABS was either standard equipment or unavailable, were selected. The protocol involved mostly open questions that encouraged respondents to reveal their knowledge and beliefs with minimal prompting. The results indicated an important lack of understanding, on the part of a majority of drivers, regarding the functioning and use of ABS. This varied from an inability to identify conditions in which ABS is favorable or unfavorable to serious misconceptions; about 25 percent were wrong about whether their vehicle was ABS equipped. Cognitive preconditions for behavioral adaptations—sometimes increased prudence—were found for a minority of this sample, and there may be a relationship between a low level of knowledge and the perceived possibility of driving faster with these brakes. There appears to be a case for improved public and dealer-delivered information on the advantages and disadvantages of ABS in different driving conditions, which if balanced should not increase unsafe behavioral adaptation.

IIntroduction: Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumours (p-NETs) are an important disease entity and comprise of peptide-secreting tumours often with a functional syndrome. : Accounting for a small percentage of all pancreatic tumours, they have a good overall survival rate when diagnosed early, with surgery being curative. The role of nuclear medicine in the diagnosis and treatment of these tumours is evident. However, the vast majority of patients will require extensive imaging in the form of conventional radiological techniques. It is important for clinicians to have a fundamental understanding of the p-NET appearances to aid prompt identification and to help direct management through neoplastic staging. Methods: This article will review the advantages and disadvantages of conventional radiological techniques in the context of p-NETs and highlight features that these tumours exhibit. Conclusion: Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours are a unique collection of neoplasms that have markedly disparate clinical features but similar imaging characteristics. Most p-NETs are small and welldefined with homogenous enhancement following contrast administration, although larger and less welldifferentiated tumours can demonstrate areas of necrosis and cystic architecture with heterogeneous enhancement characteristics. : Prognosis is generally favourable for these tumours with various treatment options available. However, conventional radiological techniques will remain the foundation for the initial diagnosis and staging of these tumours, and a grasp of these modalities is extremely important for physicians.
