In the process of employee recruitment, generally begins with the application process in order to get applicant information so that the company can select employee candidates according to the needs of the company. This process has a long flow and involves prospective employees or applicants, the HRD (Human Resources Department) and the division of each part to carry out the process of information exchange or often called a PIC (Person in Charge). Some of the obstacles that are often experienced are applicant files that are often swapped, lost or scattered, providing timetable information and the results of test evaluations to expensive and uncertain applicants and coordination with slow parts of PIC makes it difficult for companies to get the best candidates and lose the opportunity to save money. Online employee admission applications are offered by researchers as a solution to solve the problem. Functionally the application created can store data and applicant files in the form of softcopy, provide notifications via e-mail, save test results, provide facilities for coordinating schedules and results of PIC evaluations and schedule response facilities. The non-functional system is able to maintain file security, has a graphical interface and is responsive and error handling. In this study used the development of a prototyping system while the Software development used was the Unified process, while the implementation device used the CodeIgniter framework, the programming language PHP and MySQL as the DBMS.

The development of information technology is growing rapidly one of which involves natural resources (HR) employees at the company scope for example, employees at this time, felt increasingly required by each agency. One of the functions required in the processing of human resources in the processing of employee leave, the PT bermuda comunication engaged in appertising manufacturing services stickers, pins, posters, flyers, banners, x-banner, roll banner, one way vision, blocknot, every company must give entitlement to karyawanya. Problems that occur before the leave still use manual, so it is necessary to leave the computerized management process. In meeting these conditions, built a facility employee leave request system based SMS Gateway application. The system is built using Gammu software using PHP programming language as early as the lawyersubmitted data input is stored in a MySQL database, then connected with the concept of client-server suite in Osi layers, and output results utilizing sms gateway facilities. With a system of employee leave application for SMS-based Gateway is the employee leave theservice process becomes easier and faster. The process of filing, checking and decision making employee leave entitlements can be carried out systematically. In addition, the leave application process could be more transparent.

PT Karya Putra Sapta Manunggal is a company in the field of construction services based in Bekasi. In recruiting employees, PT Karya Putra Sapta Manunggal still uses conventional methods, namely that prospective employees usually send application files to the head office in Bekasi either by e-mail, post or by submitting applications directly to the Admin section. HRDs need to open e-mails and application files one by one which makes HRDs have to process applicants' data again, resulting in a high probability of errors. Therefore, it is necessary to create a new and effective system in order to facilitate the recruitment of employees using a system development methodology, namely the waterfall method. With the PHP programming language, codeigniter framework and mysql database, the employee recruitment website makes it easier for HRD to minimize time, costs and energy so that the recruitment process becomes more efficient. In addition, delivering clear and up-to-date information will improve the company's image.

BACKGROUND People experiencing homelessness are at risk for gaps in care after an emergency department (ED) or hospital visit, which leads to increased utilization, poor health outcomes, and high health care costs. The majority of homeless individuals have a cell phone of some type, which makes mobile health interventions a feasible way to connect a person experiencing homelessness with providers. OBJECTIVE To investigate the accuracy, acceptability, and preliminary outcomes of a global positioning system-enabled mobile health (GPS-mHealth) intervention designed to alert community health paramedics when people experiencing homelessness were in the ED or hospital. METHODS This was a pre-post design with baseline and 4-month post-enrollment assessments. A person experiencing homelessness taking at least two medications for chronic conditions who scored at least 10 on the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) and had at least two ED or hospital visits in the prior 6 months was eligible. Participants were issued a study smartphone with a GPS app programmed to alert a community health paramedic when a participant entered an ED or hospital. For each alert, community health paramedics followed up via telephone to assess care coordination needs. Participants also received a daily e-mail to assess medication adherence. GPS alerts were compared to ED and hospital data from the local health information exchange (HIE) to assess accuracy. Paired t-tests compared scores on the PHQ-9, Medical Outcomes Study Social Support Survey, and ASK-12 adherence survey at baseline and exit. Semi-structured exit interviews examined perceptions and benefits of the intervention. RESULTS Thirty participants enrolled; the mean age was 44.1 years (SD 9.7). Most were male (67%; n = 20), White (57%; n = 17), and not working (63%; n = 19). The GPS app showed limited accuracy in ED or hospital visit alerts. Only 18.8% of the alerts aligned with HIE data (3/16), mainly due to patients not having the phone with them during the visit, phone being off, and gaps in GPS technology. There was a significant difference in depressive symptoms between baseline (M=16.9, SD=5.8) and exit (M=12.7, SD=8.2); t(19)=2.9, p=.009 and a significant difference in adherence barriers between baseline (M=2.4, SD=1.4) and exit (M=1.5, SD =1.5); t(17)=2.47, p = .025). Participants agreed that the app was easy to use (M=4.4/5 with 5 = strongly agree (SA)) and indicated the e-mail helped them remember to take their medications (M=4.6/5). Qualitative data indicated that unlimited phone access allowed participants to meet social needs and maintain reliable contact with case managers, healthcare providers, family, and friends. CONCLUSIONS mHealth interventions are feasible for and acceptable to people experiencing homelessness. Objective data from the HIE provided more accurate ED and hospital visit information, but unlimited access to reliable communication provided benefits to participants beyond the study purpose of improving care coordination. Friction between the tow and tool surface normally happens during the tow production, fabric weaving, and application process and has an important influence on the quality of the woven fabric. Based on this fact, this paper studied the influence of tension and relative velocity on the three kinds of untwisted-glass-fiber tow-on-roller friction with a Capstan-based test setup. Furthermore, an improved nonlinear friction model taking both tension and velocity into account was proposed. According to statistical test results, firstly, the friction coefficient was found to be positively correlated with tension and relative velocity. Secondly, tension and velocity were complementary on the tow-on-roller friction behavior, with neither being superior to the other. Thirdly, an improved model was found to present well the nonlinear characteristics between friction coefficient and tension and velocity, and predicational results of the model were found to agree well with the observations from Capstan tests.

Laboratory testing on the confirmation of COVID-19 results is an essential component and without the expertise of trained laboratory technicians this is not possible. The aim of this study was to review the impacts of COVID-19 on medical laboratory staff. The literature search was done using Medline, Embase, Scopus, and Proquest databases, and relevant keywords were applied to find studies which have been conducted in the field of Medical Laboratory Science specifically looking at the impacts on staff caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. All the studies pertaining to the topic published in 2020 and 2021 in English language were reviewed and the main themes were identified. The results showed that impacts of COVID-19 were felt by the staff, as they were pushed to their limits causing stress and burnout. Apart from this laboratory staff were faced with issues such as; shortage in terms of human resources, consumables, testing kits and reagents. This was an added factor to delays in testing and disruption to the testing Turnaround time (TATs) and also contributed to the stress and burnout of staff. Laboratory professionals and other health care staffs were pushed to the limits to ensure patient care was not affected and each patient was attended too without delay. Laboratory personnel’s were pushed to their limits to ensure that test results were given on time.
