Pottery is a traditional product that is still being made and developed. But the existence of pottery today has begun to diminish its interest because it has to compete with modern products. Therefore, the need for empowerment of Small and Medium Industries, especially the pottery industry to be able to compete in the modern market. This paper aims to: (1) know the potential of proper local empowerment in Kampung Gerabah Bumi Jaya Serang Banten, (2) identify the right model of economic development and empowerment, (3) Analyze the usefulness and benefits of technology in the economy of the pottery industry through E-Martketplace on pottery craftsmen in Kampung Gerabah Desa Bumi Jaya Serang Banten. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach to obtain relevant data in community empowerment, especially empowerment in pottery craftsmen in Kampung Gerabah Bumi Jaya Serang Banten. The results showed that empowerment through e-Marketplace can be done on pottery craftsmen in Bumi Jaya Village. Pottery sales through e-marketplaces have a high opportunity if developed well and continuously and there are innovations in pottery products.

This study aims to determine how the implementation of government policies regarding the priority of the use of village funds for community empowerment and village development activities in the villages of Telaga Paca and Wangongira, North Halmahera district. This study use descriptive qualitative approach. Source of data used in this study uses primary and secondary data. And the results of the study can be concluded that what is mandated by the law is not in line with what is the reality in the field, whether it is development activities and community empowerment, because the village has village autonomy so that each village has the right to regulate and manage its own household according to the needs of the village

Muhammadiyah movement is known as the movement of enlightenment. The enlightenment movement has a role to return the people to the right guidelines of life namely the Al Qur'an and the Sunnah. Muhammadiyah is also known as a large movement and spread throughout Indonesia, therefore to facilitate the delivery of religious knowledge to the community some branches or branches take care and observe the condition of this movement in each region. The purpose of this research is to recognize and understand how the development of the enlightenment movement in the environment around us in carrying out their duties and their contribution to society through programs that have been made to return people to the right direction and still hold fast to the Qur'an and sunnah or how Muhammadiyah's role in empowering the surrounding community. The method used is descriptive qualitative through observation and interviews with figures in the membership structure of Muhammadiyah who are in branches. The results showed that several excellent programs have been carried out by Muhammadiyah branches that deal directly with the Muhammadiyah community in the area itself, and through this program, many positive things have been created to enlighten the people.

<p class="06IsiAbstrak">This paper aims to portray the role of Higher Education in mainstreaming Indonesian nationalism insight amid the dynamic issue of nationalism in society. It specifically focuses on the extent to which the insight is implemented in the Three Pillars of Higher Education or Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi at IAIN Pekalongan. The study used a descriptive-qualitative approach with data sourced from Renstra, academic instructional guideline, research and community service in 2017 and 2018, period that marks early years of IAIN Pekalongan after its conversion from STAIN. From data analysis, this reflective study argues that, first; the implementation of Indonesian nationalism insight in teaching has been effective only at the policy level. Second, its implementation in research is still limited, i.e. 11 of 134 studies (8.2%). Third, its implementation in community service has not been accommodated explicitly because the existing programs revolve around community empowerment in specific social and religious areas. The study also presents challenges analysis in the end of discussion.</p>

The purpose of this study was to identify and describe the role of the Village Community Empowerment Institution (LPMK) in accommodating and channeling community aspirations in development in Mamasa Village, Mamasa Regency and the role of the Village Community Empowerment Institution (LPMK) in increasing community participation in development in Mamasa Village, Mamasa Regency. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The results of the study indicate that the role of LPMK in accommodating and channeling community aspirations has not been maximized. LPMK does not schedule the right time to hold a meeting with each head of the environment, so it is not effective in conveying the aspirations of each head of the environment to LPMK.

Abstract Advertisements on the edge or around the street has become a common sight in the cities. Advertising by the private sector on the edge or around the street is permitted, but the advertisements and their structure erected on the certain locations in the street raises the question of how far the urban environment of these street is truly public. Focusing on this question, this paper examines it using framework based on model developed by scholar Lawrence Lessig that assess common across three layer: physical, code, and content. To do this, research needs to be done by using a descriptive qualitative approach. This study deploy the framework in a case of a road in the city of Bekasi. The result is that the framework proves a conceptual and operational means for analysing how advertisements reduce the right of street passers to safe, comfortable, meaningful public spaces.

The problems studied in this study are how the process of potential-based community empowerment through processing of cassava nugget product creations and how the results of community empowerment based on local potential through processing of cassava nugget product creations in Hamlet Binangun, Werdi village, Paninggaran district. The objectives of this study include (1) to determine the process of community empowerment based on local potential through the processing of cassava nugget product creations in Binangun hamlet, Werdi village, Paninggaran sub-district (2) to find out the results of community empowerment activities based on local potential through the processing of cassava nugget product creations in Binangun village hamlet. Werdi, Paninggaran sub-district. This service method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of research from community empowerment activities based on local potential through the processing of cassava nugget product creations are fostering an entrepreneurial spirit, utilizing existing natural potential, increasing skills by creating products that have selling value, and increasing family income or income.

This research deals with the relevance of Ali Hasjmy's thoughts on Islamic country of Islamic sharia implementation in Aceh. This research is conducted by using descriptive qualitative approach. Community empowerment takes a long time and an appropriate strategy to achieve success. Moreover, innovation delivered constitutes the regulations restricting the empowered community’s moving space. This research generally portraits pamali (taboo) strategy in conducting community empowerment and particularly aims to study local wisdom value in building the piety of Kampung Naga community. The research was conducted using phenomenological descriptive qualitative approach with an interactive technique of analysis. Data collection was carried out through interview, observation, and documentation. The result of research showed that innovation constituting local wisdom made by Kampung Naga community’s ancestor could build piety in three domains: spiritual, social, and environment. Through those three pieties, Kampung Naga community becomes a powerful Islam community in archipelago nuance and becomes Islam community that is rahmatan lil alamin.

The implementation of development must be carried out with good governance such as how the Deli Serdang Regency government applies good governance in the implementation of its development. Deli Serdang Regency has experienced rapid development in recent years, but on the other hand, corruption practices still occur and budget absorption in 2020 is still low, making this phenomenon contradictory and needs to be investigated. The purpose of this study is to analyze good governance in regional development in Deli Serdang Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate good governance in regional development in Deli Serdang Regency as a form of development control in achieving development goals, with the principle of the rule of law as the basis for the principles of participation, transparency and accountability in development in Deli Serdang Regency. The efforts that can be done in overcoming obstacles to the application of the principles of good governance are socialization of development with the right strategy, increasing community empowerment, and increasing human resources in order to improve competence. The Impact

Tourism is considered as one of the important elements in a country's economic growth. It is undeniable that tourism is the right sector to lift regional economic development growth and its promising prospects for the future. This study aims to: (1) analyze opportunities and constraints faced by society in a series of participation processes as a source of income for the citizens of Karangrejo Village (2) analyze public participation in empowering the tourism potential of Punthuk Setumbu. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with data sources obtained from interviews with informants and archives or documents relating to research. The results of this study note that the tourism potential in the Karangrejo tourism village is a natural potential, agro tourism potential, artistic and cultural potential. The potential is packaged and managed into a form of community empowerment through a tourism package managed by the Karangrejo Villager. The existing empowerment is able to influence the economic and socio-cultural sectors. The impact of the economic sector is able to increase community income and create jobs for the surrounding community. Through this research, it is able to enrich and give people understanding about tourism in Indonesian economy.
