Pengembangan Modul Pembelajaran Kimia menggunakan Pendekatan Ilmiah

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pengajaran Kimia berbasis Ilmiah untuk Hidrolisis Garam. Modul ini dibuat dengan menggunakan langkah-langkah pendekatan ilmiah yang terdiri dari mengamati, mempertanyakan, mengumpulkan data, bergaul dan berkomunikasi. Pendekatan model Ploomp digunakan dalam penelitian ini yang terdiri dari Define; Desain; Mengembangkan; dan Diseminasi. Modul ini divalidasi oleh delapan validator, dan dicicipi oleh tiga guru kimia dan siswa kelas XI IPA di tiga sekolah. Hasil analisis validitas data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa modul yang dihasilkan memenuhi kriteria valid dilihat dari aspek konten, grafik, konstruk, dan bahasa. Hasil kepraktisan modul dari siswa dan guru terlihat dari waktu penggunaan dan kemudahan implementasi. Efektivitas modul ini dapat dilihat dari aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa, aktivitas siswa dari ketiga sekolah tersebut selama proses Pembelajaran sangat efektif. Hasil belajar dari ketiga sekolah di kelas eksperimen menggunakan modul ini lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol yang tidak kita modul. Hasil belajar diuji dengan pengujian hipotesis dari analisis data diperoleh bahwa that thitung > ttabel, di SMA Negeri 1 Gunung Talang dengan thitung bernilai 4,29 dan ttabel bernilai 1,68,  di SMA Negeri 1 Kubung, thitung 2,27 dan  ttabel 1,68 serta di SMA Negeri 1 Bukit Sundi, thitung  4,24 dan thitung 1,67 sehingga asumsi H0 tidak diterima dan H1 diterima pada tingkat kepercayaan 0,05. Ini membuktikan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan dalam hasil belajar siswa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Modul Pembelajaran Kimia berdasarkan pendekatan ilmiah dalam pelajaran hidrolisis garam kelas XI SMA / MA yang dihasilkan dapat dinyatakan sebagai praktik yang valid dan efektif.   This research was aimed at developing Scientific based Chemistry instructional modules for Salt Hydrolysis. The module is made by using scientific approach steps which consist of observing, questioning, collecting data, associating and comunicating. A Ploomp model approach was utilized in this study which consisted of Define; Design; Develop; and Disseminate. The module was validated by eight validators, and was tasted to three chemistry teachers and students of class XI IPA in three schools. The result of data validity analysis that was obtained showed that the module which was produced fulfilled valid criteria seen from the aspects of content, graphics, construct, and language. The module practicality result from students and teachers was practical seen from usage time and the implementation easiness. The effectiveness of this module can be seen from activity ad student’s learning result, the activity of students from those three school during Learning process was very effective. The learning result of those three schools in experiment class using this module was higher than control class which did not us the module. The learning result was tested with hypothesis testing from data analysis it was obtained that tcount > ttable, to SMA Negeri 1 Gunung Talang tcount 4,29 and ttable 1,68, in SMA Negeri 1 Kubung, tcount 2,27 and ttable 1,68 and SMA Negeri 1 Bukit Sundi, tcount 4,24 and tcount 1,67 that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted in the real level 0,05. This proved that there was a significant distinction in student’s learning result between experiment class and control class. Based on that result, it can be concluded that Chemistry Learning Module based on scientific approach in salt hydrolisis lesson of class XI SMA/MA that was produced can be stated valid practice and effective one.

<p><em>The scientific approach is based on science that includes observing, asking, gathering information, reasoning, and communicating. This study aims to determine (1) How is the application of scientific approach in Hindu Religious Education Learning in grade XI SMA Dwijendra Denpasar, (2) What constraints experienced by teachers in Hindu Religious Education Learning with scientific approach in class XI SMA Dwijendra Denpasar, and (3) What efforts do the teacher in handling obstacle in learning of Hindu Religious Education with scientific approach in class XI SMA Dwijendra Denpasar. The type of research used is qualitative research. Methods of data collection using observation methods, interviews, and bibliography. For data validity the researcher use triagulation. The data analysis used in this study is according to Millerman Huberman which includes data reduction, display and conclusion. The research concludes that: the application of the saiatifik approach to the Hindu Education Learning process in class XI SMA Dwijendra Denpasar with stages in scientific approach such as observing, questioning, trying, reasoning and networking have been running well.</em></p><p><em>The obstacles experienced when applying a saitifik approach to the learning process of Hinduism Education are (1) students are sleepy in learning, (2) students are tired in learning, (3) the time is too short to apply the stages of the approach saitifik, (4) students feel embarrassed, (5) preparation of learning. There are also efforts made by Hindu Religious Education teachers in improving students' keaktipan in learning are as follows: (1) Delivering learning objectives, (2) motivating students by telling stories, (3) lectures only opener, (4) assigning tasks to conclude, (5) always give the task to be asked and asked, (6) engaging ansiswa.</em></p>

Abstract— This research is aimed to produce a prezi multimedia based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) in Basic Law of Chemistry material and to determine the level ov validaty and practicality based on media’s function. This research is Researc and Development (R&amp;D) which applies 4-D madel: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research is done until development stage. Determining the level of validity and practicality are done by Chemistry lecturer, Chemistry teacher,and students of class XI IPA SMAN 1 Bukittinggi. The research instrument is questionnaire which consists of validity questionnaire and practicality questionnaire. The technic of data collection is done by distributing questionnaire. The data is analyzed by using moment kappa. From the data analysis,it is found that Prezi Multimedia based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) in Basic Law of Chemistry material has moment kappa validity about 0,85 with very high level of validity, moment kappa practicality from teacher’s evaluation about 0,86 with very high level of practicality, and moment kappa practicality from student’s evaluation about 0,80 with high level of practicality. The learning media that have been developed is proved valid and practical, so it can be used on Chemistry learning process in class X IPA at SMAN 1 Bukittinggi.

<p><em><span>The use of varied and suitable methods will undoubtedly encourage the success of the learning process carried out. However, some teachers still ignore this, especially regarding the use of methods in the learning process. Therefore, it is necessary to research the ability of teachers who teach fiqh lessons in implementing variations of learning methods at MTs Yapi Pakem. This study aims to be used as a benchmark for schools and teachers in seeing the extent to which the implementation and success of the learning method variations. The approach in this study was descriptive qualitative, taking the background of MTs Yapi Pakem. Data collection was done by using observation, interviews, and documentation methods. To check the data validity, triangulation of sources, techniques, and time was carried out. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique consisted of data reduction, data presentation by giving meaning to the data collected, and from that meaning, conclusions or verification were drawn. This study’s results revealed that 1) in the implementation of the seventh-grade fiqh learning at MTs Yapi Pakem, various learning methods had been used. Meanwhile, the combination variations included lectures - question and answer – assignments, lecture-discussion - question and answer, lecture - assignment - question and answer. 2) For its implementation from planning to implementation, its use was quite good but still lacking in evaluation.</span></em></p>

Attitude is essential issue to be considered in designing an appropriate learning for learners because it greatly affects the performance and implementation of the teaching and learning process in the classroom. One of the most important attitudes to be explored is the willingness of teachers to implement the curriculum set by the government. This study aims to determine the willingness of English teachers to carry out scientific approach and also to know the implementation of scientific approach in the learning. This research applies qualitative approach with case study design. It is conducted in SMAN 1 Situbondo with three teachers become the informants. Interview and observation are implemented to explore the willingness and the implementation of Scientific Approach. Data analysis in this research using Spradley’s method. From this research, it can be seen that the teachers has enough willingness to apply scientific approach totally. Furthermore, the implementation of scientific approach has been implemented well enough and has implemented it in accordance with government regulation.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan karakteristik kebutuhan guru dan siswa terhadap buku cerita bergambar berbasis Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur untuk pembelajaran bahasa Jawa di SMP Kota Semarang,  (2) membuat prototipe buku cerita bergambar berbasis Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur, dan (3) mendeskripsikan hasil validasi ahli mengenai prototipe buku cerita bergambar berbasis Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan tahapan yaitu (1) potensi dan masalah, (2) pengumpulan data, (3) desain produk, (4) validasi desain, dan (5) revisi desain. Data pada penelitian ini adalah amanat dari Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur dan kebutuhan terhadap buku cerita bergambar berbasis Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur. Sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur, guru dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan penyebaran angket. Analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan buku cerita bergambar berjudul Sinau Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur. Setelah buku tersebut disusun, selanjutnya dilakukan uji validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media untuk mendapatkan saran dan perbaikan buku. Saran dan perbaikan dari ahli mencakup aspek materi, penyajian dan kegrafikaan.  Kata Kunci : buku cerita bergambar, Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur, pengembangan.   ABSTRACK The aims of this research are to (1) describe the characteristics of teachers and students’ need to a picture book with Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur base for Javanese Language learning process in SMP Kota Semarang, (2) to make a picture book prototype with Serat Wulangreh Pupuh base, and (3) describe the expert validation outcome about a picture book prototype with Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur base. This research uses research and development. The research stages were potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation and design revisions. The data in this study are mandated by Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur and the need for a picture book based on Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur. Sources of data from this study are Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur, teachers and students. The technique of collecting data uses interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis in this study is descriptive qualitative. This research produces a picture book entitled Sinau Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur as teachers and students’ need. After this book is created, there would be a validity test by the material and media experts to have suggestion and revision. System view, understanding systems and how they are controlled is an important discipline in engineering education. Nowadays considering the ever increasing knowledge, the explosion of information available at the internet, the available visual technics and software tools there is a need to revisit the content and the teaching methodology of the first control course. The IFAC Technical Committee on Control Education (9.4) is circulating a pilot survey addressing these questions. Here we present our experience related to renewing the control course. The topics of the course are given. The main ideas are explained on two levels: hopefully in an understandable way for everyone, and precisely, using mathematical tools. In the lectures some parts of the multilevel e-book, Sysbook are referred, which has been elaborated to present the main principles governing systems and control on different levels. Besides static teaching materials interactive demonstrations developed for Sysbook are also used in the lectures which enhance the effectiveness and also enjoyment of the learning process. At the last part of each lecture the students are active solving problems related to the topic of the lecture. They are motivated by the obtained extra evaluation points. Then the solutions of the problems are discussed. Computer laboratory exercises using MATLAB/SIMULINK software contribute to understanding and applying the analysis and synthesis methods discussed in the lectures. The course is supported by the recently published Springer books: Keviczky et al.: Control Engineering and Control Engineering: MATLAB Exercises. In the content of the control course a new feature is the emphasis of the YOULA parameterization method for controller design already in the first control course and showing that other controller design methods can be considered as its special cases. Nowadays in education a new teaching – learning paradigm is Open Content Development (OCD) which means active participation of the teachers and students creating an up-to-date teaching material. This project runs at the Department of Technical Education at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics since 2015 supported by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. In the frame of vocational teacher training programs several so-called micro-contents have been developed. Utilizing the experiences of these pilot efforts the Sysbook platform has been connected to the OCD model. In a special surface Sysbook provides several case studies for systems and their control (e.g. driving, energy production and distribution, oil refinery, systems and control in the living organism, etc.). Teachers and students studying systems and control can elaborate new case studies in their areas of interest which means active application of the learned topics. After evaluation these projects can be uploaded in the student area of Sysbook. Summarizing: in the methodology of teaching a basic control course the motivation of the students can be increased by active participation in the learning process, including interactive demonstration of the principles, solving exercises at the end of the lectures and getting immediate feedback, solving analysis and synthesis problems in the computer laboratories, and developing their own case studies for Sysbook. It should be also emphasized that the examples of systems and their control should be chosen mainly from the area of the specialization of the students (electrical or software engineering, chemical engineering, biology, economics, etc.). Also it is important to provide real-time experiments in laboratory work or using distant laboratories. IFAC Repository would be also of great help reaching useful resources.

<em>The purpose of this research is to improve the posing questions on social studies of third grade students elementary school. Methods of data retrieval is done by observation, interview, and documentation. Data collected are result of posing question observation, result of teacher and students interview and documentation of learning process. Data validity used are validity of content and triangulation of sources and methods. Data analysis using interactive models. The result of research is quantity of question in cycle I and cycle II in sequence that is 444 and 455 questions. The number of questioning students increased to 100% of students in the class or a total of 36 students. The quality of the questions indicated includes the cognitive thinking levels C1, C2, C3, and C4, whereas the dimensions of knowledge lie in the factual, conceptual, procedural, and metacognitive. Based on the results of research can be concluded that the application of learning cell strategy can improve the posing question</em>

Assessment is essential in the learning and teaching process. In chemistry teaching, deployment of assessment to ascertain the levels of assimilation and understanding of concepts being taught in the class is considered central in the learning process. Through the assessment for learning, teachers check students’ understanding and get valuable feedback data on students’ learning. This data is used to modify and improve instruction. Educational world order has drastically changed due to the emergency of COVID-19 that influenced the modes of educational delivery at such a time like this. The only option to deliver learning and assessment processes is the deployment of technology to be able to meet the demands of pandemic and its associational protocols. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) affects every facet of life including education. This paper, therefore, examined the nature of assessment of chemistry learning and the ICT tools that are required to drive the assessment procedures. In addition, it discussed the ICT feedback mechanisms in assessing the learning process in chemistry. Consequently, the paper suggested that relevant ICT tools should be used by chemistry teachers to monitor students’ academic progress and foster ICT-driven effective feedback for assessment of chemistry learning. As a result, ICT should be deployed to assist chemistry teachers in carrying out assessment for learning to diagnose learners’ understanding and difficulties during the process of instruction.

This research aims to find out know the problem in implementing the 2013 curriculum and offers an alternative solution to this problem by incorporating several principles of post method language teaching. The data were collected through the interview with the English teachers in SMPN 1 Malalak regarding the obstacles they faced in the 2013 curriculum implementation. The data were qualitatively analyzed and the principles of post method language teaching were descriptively incorporated into the problems found in order to provide their alternative solutions.  The research findings reveal that the problems of implementing the 2013 curriculum in this school are teachers’ unreadiness, students’ low level, and application of scientific approach and that the post method language teaching can serve as an alternative solution since it allows more flexibility in the learning process through involving students’ and teachers’ in the process. In conclusion, the issues in the implementation of 2013 curriculum come from the teachers’ and students’ as well as the teaching method required to be applied by curriculum. To overcome this, the teachers can apply the principle of post method language teaching in the learning process. Keywords: 2013 Curriculum, Implementation, Post Method Language Teaching
